Reviews:
I have bought several guitars in the 100 to 300 range. I was surprised on the quality of this guitar and felt it was superior to many other brands in this range. From neck joint to fret polish & leveling and finish this guitar is quality except the tuners, however the guitar stays in tune and rarely goes out. The neck is not a Fender Strat or Tele neck so don't expect it to play like one, Its its own thing. It is not wide at the nut so if you need a wide neck at the nut it may not be for you. I find it fine and would not consider it narrow. The neck is slightly fatter than a Squire neck but it is still a C shape and a bit thicker as you go up the neck to higher frets. It plays great. Its set up well for Rock and Blues playing, neck adjusted with a light bow and strings set low (but not to low to buzz). Bridge saddles are stainless steel and this make the strings ring out bright and loud even when not plugged in. Intonation was spot on. Frets are tall enough to allow for string bending (there not super low). As regards pickups this is a personal thing. Pickups are very basic and do okay, one may want to upgrade them to ones own liking other wise there fine.pchapm
I was hesitant when ordering the guitar, but after I received it worry washed away from a single glance. I'm not good at instruments, I never played anything than doing ukulele club when I was a kid so I didn't expect myself to buy a guitar. It's delicate and beautiful, feels great to hold and sounds just as good. I do not regret buying this guitar at all, in fact I'm greatful that I'm able to own it. I strive to become great at playing it, little by little . Thank you!Nazma B.
It's a beautiful guitar and really well made. I bought it for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. I don't know anything about guitars as I'm a pianist myself, but her guitar teacher was absolutely delighted with it. It's definitely worth paying the extra for the upgrades. I can definitely see it lasting her as it feels really solid, and the knobs and twiddly bits etc feel really solid. I genuinely can't get over how nice it is. Makes me want to learn the guitar myself!Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Reviews:
I purchased this to give as a gift for someone who wants to learn to play. It came just a few days after it was ordered, and I opened it up to check for any damage or missing items. I did not have any.! I went ahead and tuned it up, while I had it in hand, why not.?? Then I couldn't resist trying out the little 15 watt amp. WOW.! What a little monster.! The clean side is very nice, smooth, and clear.! It brings out the balance in the pick-ups.. And the Distoration side is just as WOW.! I WAS SO IMPRESSED, that I ordered one for my-self, in the RED.! I have been playing on and off for nearly fourty years, and only recently had an Acoustic/Electric from Fender, which I love. It has a sound and feel that is all it's own..! BUT this Electric Guitar is just awsome.! It can do screamin rips, and clean country as easy as any guitar I've ever played. It not too heavy, but is a solid body guitar which is good. It should hold up for many years of playing, or just playing around.! I highly recomend this guitar set, and if you can get it on sale a good hard case completes the set..!
Never expect good quality if you can get an entire set for a low price. High E string can't even withstand a 1/2 bend at 17th fret. It's a giant scam, the only things that are okay are the whammy bar and the picks. Not to mention the plug cable broke after only 50 days and the amp buzzes all the time. This is why I extremely dislike Yamaha's music products.
My son saved his money to purchase this pack. He could hardly wait the few days for it's arrival. He has had no prior guitar experience. He persuaded me to place the order as this would be an elective class for his homeschooling. I had my reservations. He did not play his PS4 for an entire week after receiving his GigMaker pack! He loves it and I am amazed at how well his is learning how to play it. I am extremely happy that his video gaming has taken a back seat to his love for this guitar.KLM
3. Yamaha Pac611vfm Pacifica Electric Guitar (Translucent Black)
Product Details:
Like new. spotless or near spotless condition. a great guitar with a duncan humbucker in the bridge with a push-pull pot to split the coil, and a duncan p-90 in the neck position. not a cheap feeling guitar by any means – 7 pounds 10 ounces. the bridge is floating, you can lock it down tighter if you'd like. grover locking tuners. comes with roadrunner case, original vibrato arm, all original wrenches, and manual. selling only due to a fit of overbuying and my direction is to go to all fixed bridge guitars. a really nice extremely well made guitar, though. untouchable at the price – super clean workmanship.

Reviews:
Read a review and then saw one at GC. The tones are fantastic. Better than many of the higher end guitars I tried side by side with it. The P90 & Humbucker is a GREAT combination. Plenty of chimmy cleans and rhythms. The bridge plenty of snarl and coil splits. I've got a number of higher end guitars but I keep picking this up over and over. The necks is one of the most comfortable necks I've played. The fret edges need some work but aside its as good as it gets. Don't take my word. Try one and you will see for yourself.Ham
This guitar has amazing bang for the buck. I love the P90 and Humbucker Seymour Duncan set up along with Graph Tech saddles and Grover locking tuners for me at least makes it a winner. The only thing I don't really like is the shape as I much prefer a Telacaster shape.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Reviews:
For so long I have been looking for something different. Something no one else was playing. Kinda my own guitar. I've been playing for 30 years now and am 41. I've owned all the great guitars at one point or another. In the last couple of years I bought two high end guitars and had to return them both. They were "plekd" if you know what I mean. First one had dead frets 17th – 20th. Paid $2000 for it. I was told that if I went up in price, the value would go up too. Man, what a salesman. If you spend 2 grand you get screwed, but spend a little more and the product will be as advertised. The second guitar's paint job was all messed up. The quality of the new models just isn't there. So I've been looking for same material etc, but with a few enhancements and better price point. You don't have to spend a couple grand if you want to play guitar. The skyrocketing prices are out of control. So, I looked outside the USA and look what I got. The best playing "Paul Killer" I've ever seen. Craftsmanship is perfect. Once I changed the strings to "9"s, all my dreams came true. Please give this a look. You won't be let down. Now I just need a yamaha tshirt -KeithKeith

Reviews:
It's hard for me to write a review, because I'm just such a rank beginner. I'm a retiree who just decided to finally learn to play the guitar. More than one expert said an electric is easier to play for a beginner. Many praised the Yamaha Pacifica series, and compared the 311h favorably to the 611. The price at Kraft Music was unbeatable for a new guitar with stand, a soft case, a tuner (which works well), a DVD (which I really haven't got into all that much–there's a bunch of stuff on YouTube to check out), pics, strap, etc. I think it's beautiful, and everything is working well so far–except for my fingers. But I didn't even know how to work the tuner when I first got it. I bought a cheap amplifier (Crate 10 amp, for under $40–which I also recommend), and now, a month later, I can play a few chords. I'm satisfied. Now, it's up to me, not the equipment. You have to bear in mind, I've never touched another electric guitar, so you can take this with a grain of salt.denyarcur
stumbled across this model during a road trip, knew i had to have it. the neck is flawless and snappy low action. play the neck soapbox open G with a steel slide it is just simply brutal clean or crunchy. the bridge humbucker is outstanding with coil tap too. i need another for standard tuning. i own a 1990 pacifica 921 as well and no you cannot have it not for sale! if you've not played yamaha you owe it to yourself and your wallet to have a go. best instruments for your $$$ out there.cainitus

Build Quality is excellent, finish is excellent, overall feel is great. the Wilkinson Trem is way better than others with the sharp adjustment screws that always seem to stick up and stab my palm, I have a tendency to play with my palm resting on the trem and I always end up pulling the saddles and clipping the adjustment screws shorter to keep them from sticking out the top. This is not an issue on this bridge. The push in trem bar is nice, not sloppy like a screw in type. It's very comfortable to play. Pots are quiet and not scratchy, switch feels solid and not cheap like some others out there. Frets are clean and not sharp, ends aren't dressed to perfection but it plays comfortably. Neck finish is a little sticky after playing for a while but that's the nature of a gloss neck. Overall awesome guitar if your looking for very bright Strat type tones. The tone is very bright though, pickups break up nicely under gain and sounds good in all positions. Yamaha makes a great instrument and are often underrated, I Would recommend this one for sure
Absolutely love the guitar. Color is a lot more subtle in person than in pictures online. Plays smooth right out the box, looks and feels amazing. Neck is quite similar to a strat but gets flatter near the neck. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because when I unboxed it and inspected it there was a scuff on the headstock. It isn't noticeable from a distance but definitely something I'm not happy about. Other than that it plays great, looks great, feels great 🙂Julieanne

A premium feel, for not a lot of money, and the P90s roar!John R.
I've had custom shop Strats… Teles… SGs… Les Pauls… Jazzmasters… 335s… Gretchs… and PRS Custom 24s. They were all great – but this Yamaha puts them all to shame. The neck will feel like it was made from a mold of your hand. The fit and finish is flawless. The array of sounds from the 5-way switch in combination with the passive boost (it even works with wireless) is incredible. Simply put – it's the best guitar I've even owned at any price.Steve

The black was not very translucent. More death metal matt black. Fine with me
Excellent quality guitar, love the colour and so easy to play once setup to your style of playReviewed by Absolute Music custo

Reviews:
An excellent Strat-style that punches well above its weight. For the price of a 'second guitar' or learner Stat you get a very competent piece of kit that will go as far as you want. Nice neck, reasonable frets and quality pickups together with high build quality, it was perfect out of the box, needing no further set-up. The 112v's party piece of a coil-tap on the bridge humbucker though extends its range and versatility immensely it really does give both the full SSS and HSS sound – two excellent guitars for the price of one reasonable one. Downsides? A very slight crackle on the volume pot, and using the coil tap (split) reduces the bridge output, so up the volume a bit if doing it mid-song. I can happily live with both.tim

Reviews:
I still say that Yamaha has one of the best & consistent QC for guitars and basses. This guitar had better alignment, fret work, finish and general construction than guitars 2-3 x's its cost. The middle and front pups are totally flat sounding, blah. I play clean w just reverb and thumpick w all fingers in picking. I thought by going up a model to this one with 'better' pups that would not be an issue… I didn't buy it for the figured top, but the other upgrades.TX Swing Is King
Playable right out of the box. Pop in the whammy bar and you're good to go. I put on some heavy strings and drop tuned it to accommodate the tension on the bridge, adjusted harmonics and lowered the strings. Sounds great! The Yamaha manual that came with this guitar was the wrong one, but it gave me the gist on how to make my adjustments.'Cao

Reviews:
Crystal
I bought one of these in Black when the first came out. It is an inventive design and sounds great but has some issues that I could never come to terms with so I sold eventually. The first issue is the neck. It is a little week and slight hand pressure will change pitch. It does not stay in tune well because of this. Temperature changes case it to go sharp or flat more than conventional guitar designs. Next the cool looking tuners work but are a hassle to deal with. They also dont stay mounted in place because they are not screwed and secured with set screws. This makes tuning unstable. Yamaha was on to something good with this resonance idea. It sound very nice and does respond great. The guitar is not a professional instrument though and had too many issues to use.greenbirdhouse

17. Yamaha Eg112c Black Solidbody Electric Guitar
Product Details:
This is a used yamaha eg112c. "used" is stamped into the back of the headstock, i have set up the action and intonation and it's relatively easy to play all things considered. certain upper frets poke out a little bit, which i intend to file down when i find the time. the frets were polished 6 months ago, and will be repolished along with a fretboard cleaning once i handle the frets poking out. the bridge is slightly leaning forward, and a screw on the backplate is stripped, meaning removing the backplate entirely requires something that can remove that screw; however, the bridge can still be accessed.
