I give this bag only 3 stars because unless Gator upgraded the bag or is making it in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase. I bought one of these for a Sterling by Music Man bass as I was under the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). As the photos indicate, this bag will work for a Fender P Bass, but the Fender FB620 is a better bag for that and other Fender bass guitars while presently costing 10 less than the Gator while offering better protection and features. The Gator GB-4G seems to be more of a universal fit bag accommodating a wider range of sizes. The thing it seemed to have going for it the most was its zipper which seemed heavy duty. I bought a used guitar for back porch jamming. Needed a gig bag that didn't cost more than the guitar ,but would keep it safe and clean. I'm giving this bag only 3 stars on account of the price increase; for it used to cost about 4-5 less than the Fender FE620 but now costs about 10 more than? Unless it has improved features or is being made in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase as the FE620 gig bag provides better protection and features (for Strat size guitars anyway). I purchased one in May 2021 and only because as I was of the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). I should have sized things up beforehand since the Sterling by Music Man Cutlass I bought the bag for is essentially a slightly shorter, slightly sleeker version of a Strat (for which the FE620 was made). The best thing the Gator bag seemed to have going for it was the zipper which seemed rather heavy duty while mesh pockets on the front of a gig bag aren't particularly practical while being subject to tearing/ripping. As you can see by the photos, there's too much room in the bag for a Strat size guitar (though one might be able to insert the headstock into the bag's internal top pocket to prevent the guitar from sliding around too much in the bag). The Gator GB-4G ELEC Series Gig Bag is more of a universal fit bag better suited for guitars longer and/or wider than a Strat.Vice

I bought this case for my vintage 1961 Goya G-10 Acoustic Classical guitar which I love so much. The case is build very well, especially for the price…I was very impressed. The latches are slightly on the loose side of things when latched…but they hold. As for the fit w/ my Goya G-10…..this case fits tight but I think it will take the shape of the guitar a little better as it settles and breaks in over time. The "inside measurements" in the description are very accurate. The coolest thing of all is I tried another old timer favorite acoustic guitar of mine inside this case and it FITS so well with just enough slack inside, IMO is a perfect fit for my departed Grandfathers old acoustic that I grew up noodling on…..a 1964 Silvertone "parlor" size acoustic guitar. So happy it fits in there that I am gonna order another case for the Silvertone and one more for my other Goya G-10. Highly recommend for the Silvertone old 60s parlor guitars for sure!!!!

It took about an hour for the stuffing to compress where closing the case took no minimal extra effort (due to the depth of the RainSong). Here are the numbers in inches: Option: Total Length x Body Length x Lower Bout x Depth; Gator Interior: 38 x 19 x 13.74 x 4; Martin 12 fret 0: 37.75 x 19.125 x 13.5 x 4.0625; RainSong P12: 37.5 x 18.8 x 13.3 x 4.1; An interesting external dimension comparison (my measurements) GSmini Hard Bag: 39 x 16 x 6; Gator GWE ¾: 39.75 x 15.75 x 5.75; This case is not a top-of-the-line wood case and I don't think worthy of being used for checked luggage (maybe no wood case is). But it is as compact as it is going to get and a good option for that occasional gate checked carry-on. Since RainSong makes 12 and 14 fret Parlor guitars, their stock case is likely a couple of inches longer (and probably a more expensive AND HEAVIER case). It appears MF gets them bulk packaged, their shipping box was not that sturdy, and was very beaten up by UPS. There were dents in the case but not enough to bother returning (it is a testament to the case's construction that it was otherwise undamaged). The Fender Jumbo Acoustic Case is pretty amazing considering it was $69! Lid and latch alignment are spot on. Interior is plush, clean and padded in the right spots. Outside there is slight tolex separation at side seam and slight glue exposure along bottom edge seam but, overall very clean tight workmanship. It fits my Yamaha jumbo very well. Purchased Fender's T-bucket Bass a few months ago, but the store didn't have the case. I bought this case mainly as a way to keep my acoustic humidified over the winter. So far it's doing a great job at that. My only issue is that the flap to the storage compartment was cut very crooked leaving a pretty sizable gap on one side. Large enough for a Kyser capo to fit through. For a brand like Fender and for this price, I would expect a little better quality control, so I'm taking one star off. It's not enough of a flaw to send back, but it's definitely enough to be disappointing and irritating. Otherwise great case. I would still recommend it.

Overall: See title. I own two gig bags from World Tour. One is an older model and the other is this one. Both are great. They offer a good bit of protection and they aren't too expensive. The materials feel very durable. Other gig bags cost double this and aren't as good. I highly recommend World Tour gig bags to anyone. Overall: This bag obviously is not the high dollar type of case. However, the material is much better than i had imagined. Relatively thick canvas and solid material. I am especially impressed with the zippers which are very good and give you confidence when opening and closing the bag. It will keep your guitar from sun, rain and water, and relatively light conditions. But this is NOT a protective bag. It is a carry all. It has one pocket to hold your extra stuff that's a pretty good size with two zippers. I would definitely buy another one especially at this price. I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones. The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me. All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. Zippers feel good, they're big and bulky, definitely high quality! You're getting quite a lot of value for the price this gig bag sells for! I've read terrible reviews and seen pictures of big brand gig bags (some of which retail for 2-3 times the price of this one, so I went with this one and can't recommend it enough!Oscar

The most important thing is that my Sire A4 Grand Auditorium (GA) (with cutaway) is slightly wider at the bulge in the bottom width of the guitar compared to a typical dreadnaught acoustic. After much research, I found even the Sire softshell case is TOO small for the Sire A4 Grand auditorium body width across it's widest point. I returned a couple of different cases to Sweetwater (which they did with VERY little issue). TBH, it was probably me that didn't realize the dreadnaught version of the acoustic is slightly narrower in width compared to the GA. Bottom line: The gator cases I've owned in the past have ALL been great for the price. I paid about $150 for this one, and it fits and seems to be very high quality. I don't gig anymore, so I can't give you a review of how it would handle an actual 3 month tour with roadies handling it. I just don't have that experience anymore. My positive recommendation for this case simply comes from the fit, the initial quality, the reasonable price, and the piece of mind to feel your acoustic is protected. I just recently purchased a Yamaha FS-TA (TransAcoustic) guitar which is a smaller concert body. I couldn't find any case that my guitar would fit into like a glove. Many headaches later and after tons of research, bingo! This is the perfect case. I have to admit there was another case by Road Runner which was for a classical guitar that was a good fit. Purchased this case to go along with a 'first' electric guitar/amp for my grandson's birthday. When I picked the items up at the store, I noticed a chemical smell—thought it was just a 'new item' smell. I was way wrong. When my grandson came over for his birthday party, he popped open the case—and the room filled with a strong toxic chemical smell—who knows what caused the odor that was outgassing from the inside of the case??? Glue? Waste plastic recycled into this item? Pesticides? All of the above? The smell caused everyone in the room to gag, watery eyes, sneezing, itching skin, etc. The odor had even gotten into the Epiphone Les Paul guitar—what was to be a gift turned into a big disappointment. I put the open case in my garage for a week with no success—it still reeks and causes skin irritation/watery eyes. I'm going to take the case back for a refund and really check out any replacements. (Do an internet check on 'toxic plastic from China'—lots of products with this problem. Outstandingly well made case. Very sturdy. You will not have to worry about your guitar when it's in this case. Lined with fur material; heavy duty latches, and chrome "feet" tips that keep the case off the floor when you sit it down. Made with plywood, so it is heavy and very durable. Looks good but cheaply made and flimsy. Top of case will not stay opened unless you use some force to slightly stretch the strap but you have to be careful not to over stress it or it may detach on one end. Sound: I gave manufacturers support three stars because you can’t buy it directly from Levys Overall: Know now that this is a semi rigid case. It is a little “floppy” at the top when laid flat and open , but is quite manageable. The neck isolator will move up and down a few inches each way to give you support where you want or need it. Vertical extraction is possible.. Haven’t tried vert. load. Made in China for Levys .. However, the Levys quality you expect is there . Perfect mid point between nylon and leather gig bags .Fits my Jazz Bass very well. I do gig with this case ! BUT since it is still new and nice ( clean ) I still use a hard case for some of the more “ not so clean “ ( and nice )venues LOL!!! YMMVChuck

Musicians friend does not show the measurements at the Bouts. I f they had have done this, I would have chosen a different brand. The Florentine Guitar of Washburn's ( EA20 ) that this case was supposed to fit is smaller by an inch across the lower bout and an inch across the upper bout. There is plenty of room in there for the guitar, a sack lunch, and my cat. It would be best to state the measurements of the inside of the case and leave off some of the gingerbread sales talk in the add.Tee
