MORE STUFF

Listen to these exclusive Harmony Engine audio clips then go to the Remix review of the Antares Harmony Engine vocal harmonizing plug-in

01_harmeng_dryvox.mp3
This clip presents the song with the original single vocal track dry (unaffected by Harmony Engine). The vocal is mixed very up-front and centered in the stereo field.

02_harmeng_5harmvox.mp3
This clip presents the song with Harmony Engine working full-time--that is, all four additional voices are present in varying volumes, and spread across the stereo field. There is a lower voice panned partially left, a higher voice and a duplicate voice panned right, and another mid-higher voice resting in the center, with the original.

03_harmeng_duetvox.mp3
This clip presents a duet--just the original and an un-pitched duplicate are present, with the clone panned right and with a bit of timing variation for realism. The original voice is slightly louder, and sits in the center.

04_harmeng_origlowvox.mp3
This clip presents another duet--just the original voice and the lower-pitched voice from the five-part harmony clip are present; the lower voice is panned left, while the original voice, panned center, is slightly louder.

05_harmeng_sololowvox.mp3
This clip presents just the lower-pitched voice from the five-part harmony clip; to showcase Harmony Engine's ability in this area, the voice has been mixed louder and panned center.

06_harmeng_orighighvox.mp3
This clip includes just the original voice and the highest-pitched voice from the five-part harmony clip; the high voice is panned right, while the original voice is front and center.

07_harmeng_solohighvox.mp3
This clip shows off the highest-pitched voice as heard in the previous clip. The voice has been panned back to the center and brought up in volume to help in displaying Harmony Engine's abilities on the outer edges of pitch manipulation.

08_harmeng_acapel5vox.mp3
This clip presents the same five-voice vocal harmony as found in the previous clip, with all instruments stripped out. This allows for a closer examination of Harmony Engine's abilities when used in full-force.

09_harmeng_acapel4vox.mp3
This clip presents the same acapella vocal harmony as found in the previous clip, but with the cloned (non-pitched) voice stripped out. Here, just the original, two higher and lower voices are present.

10_harmeng_acapel3vox.mp3
As with the previous clip, one more voice has been stripped from the harmony - the lower of the two higher-pitched voices. We are now left with the main vocal in the center, the high-piched voice panned right, and the lower-pitched voice in the left. Volumes of the pitched clones have been raised slightly to make them present.

11_harmeng_acapel2vox.mp3
This, the last of the acapellas, leaves only the original voice and the lower-pitched in the mix. As with all of the other clips, the timing of the clones is set to have some amount of variation, to enhance realism.
