Yamaha Red Label Guitar For Sale (2024 Update)

Barely played yamaha fs5 red label made in japan. i bought this new a month ago from a local store. the only issue is the pictured blemish to the left of the sound hole. it was caused by improper handling by an employee at the store i purchased the guitar from. other than that, this thing is incredible! all solid wood, quite comparable to an 18 series martin in many ways, but for a fraction of the cost. these have been in production since 1966 and have lots of vibe.

I bought this guitar as a demo model from musicians friend in 2020. the guitar has been upgraded with a bone saddle, ebony bridge pins, and an ebony end pin. the finish initially had a dull, chalky look, which has since been polished to a nice matte/semi gloss look. the frets initially felt gritty, but have since been polished and bends feel smooth. action is set low, about 5/64 low e and 4/64 high e at the 12th fret, with minimal to no buzz (depending on how hard you play with your right hand of course). the guitar has excellent low end resonance and a clear, projecting tone. plays and feels great. pretty much no fret wear. a few small cosmetic flaws, including one small finish chip at the edge of the end pin and a small finish nick/scratch on the upper side of the guitar. great guitar at a great price, with upgrades and a setup already complete. padded gig bag included.

Here s a yamaha fsx3 in amazing condition. i listed it as excellent condition but there are a few scuffs/scratches on the pick guard and a bit of buckle rash on the bash on the back. i tried my best taking pics of those blemishes but it hardly even there. other than that it s in overall great shape. includes the gig bag and sound hole cover. comes with original owners manual as well!!!

This is the real deal – the yamaha fg-150 red label nippon gakki. recent research reveals that this guitar was made in late january or very early february 1970. see approximate placement of serial #1158091 (the # on the guitar's neck block) on the chart illustration at https:yamahavintagefg.boards.net.it was acquired by my late father in the mid-eighties when he traded a .22 rifle to a local rural "commune" for it! it was my mother's after that, but old age and arthritis prevented her from really ever playing it much. when she passed away in 2018 it came to me, and i had no idea of its value until i saw another listed on a vintage guitar website!overall, the instrument is in very good shape: there are no exterior dings, deal-breaker scrapes or ugly wear marks except a small dent on the underside of the neck – near where it joins the body. there is some typical, expected play wear on the pick guard and minor scratches in a few other areas, but nothing really concerning.i will in…
