This is a good quality product for a great price. There are surely better built cases but at a cost of 3 times the price not that much better. This case fits my Epiphone Acoustic/Electric AJ220SCE well and I would buy one again and have ordered one for My Martin D45 copy.1115drh1949
Case arrived on time and packed adequately. Product matched online description. My FG300 fit in the case though snug at lower body width. It's a little bit heavier than the original but I don't mind as it offers good protection for my guitar that I treasure. I am a satisfied customer even though the price was a bit high. The Phantom
I value my instruments more than the styrofoam-filled nylon gig bag the guitar came out of the box with, so I got the hard case. It fit my guitar perfectly and I got it at the best price around. It has a key and it worked flawlessly. It is sturdy and ought to last as long as the guitar does. Thanks a lot.Harley D.

Reviews:
I bought this case for my vintage 1961 Goya G-10 Acoustic Classical guitar which I love so much. The case is build very well, especially for the price…I was very impressed. The latches are slightly on the loose side of things when latched…but they hold. As for the fit w/ my Goya G-10…..this case fits tight but I think it will take the shape of the guitar a little better as it settles and breaks in over time. The "inside measurements" in the description are very accurate. The coolest thing of all is I tried another old timer favorite acoustic guitar of mine inside this case and it FITS so well with just enough slack inside, IMO is a perfect fit for my departed Grandfathers old acoustic that I grew up noodling on…..a 1964 Silvertone "parlor" size acoustic guitar. So happy it fits in there that I am gonna order another case for the Silvertone and one more for my other Goya G-10. Highly recommend for the Silvertone old 60s parlor guitars for sure!!!!
The Gator GWE ¾ Economy Acoustic Guitar Case is a good fit for a RainSong 12-fret parlor (CH-PA). It took about an hour for the stuffing to compress where closing the case took no minimal extra effort (due to the depth of the RainSong). Here are the numbers in inches: Option: Total Length x Body Length x Lower Bout x Depth; Gator Interior: 38 x 19 x 13.74 x 4; Martin 12 fret 0: 37.75 x 19.125 x 13.5 x 4.0625; RainSong P12: 37.5 x 18.8 x 13.3 x 4.1; An interesting external dimension comparison (my measurements) GSmini Hard Bag: 39 x 16 x 6; Gator GWE ¾: 39.75 x 15.75 x 5.75; This case is not a top-of-the-line wood case and I don't think worthy of being used for checked luggage (maybe no wood case is). But it is as compact as it is going to get and a good option for that occasional gate checked carry-on. Since RainSong makes 12 and 14 fret Parlor guitars, their stock case is likely a couple of inches longer (and probably a more expensive AND HEAVIER case). It appears MF gets them bulk packaged, their shipping box was not that sturdy, and was very beaten up by UPS. There were dents in the case but not enough to bother returning (it is a testament to the case's construction that it was otherwise undamaged). Other retailers have it for quite a bit more and maybe that is with individual OEM packaging.Jon Fields
I bought this case for my Ibanez EW2012ASENT 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar. I like that it has a deep storage compartment, that fits my capo, pics, guitar strap, nicely! And the case comes with a key, to lock the metal clasp. Very Sturdy. I am confident that my guitar will be well protected!Victoria

Reviews:
Outstandingly well made case. Very sturdy. You will not have to worry about your guitar when it's in this case. Lined with fur material; heavy duty latches, and chrome "feet" tips that keep the case off the floor when you sit it down. Made with plywood, so it is heavy and very durable. It was a little expensive, but I know my guitar is well protected. I already had a Takamine case for my other guitar, and this ChromaCast case is made as well, or even better than the Takamine.Doris
I am surprised by the quality of this case. It is heavy duty, sturdy. I don’t think I’ve ever spent so little and received the best quality like this. My Fender FA-100 fits perfectly. It has a compartment for gear, extra strings, picks, small bottle of cleaner, and whatever.Jim
Looks good but cheaply made and flimsy. Top of case will not stay opened unless you use some force to slightly stretch the strap but you have to be careful not to over stress it or it may detach on one end. Plus the latches on the top section of the case didn't seem seem a bit misaligned the first time and afterwards when closing the case. Spend the extra money and get a better made case.GBPKRMAN

Reviews:
I was given a Washburn WD10CE. I looked on eBay and found this case. It said in the description that it matched my guitar. I ordered it and received it within a few days. The case is top quality and has the felt type lining. I feel very secure knowing my new guitar is safe from any nicks, dings or scratches in the finish. I highly recommend this case if your Washburn acoustic or acoustic electric needs a home. It's affordable and top quality.vtowndawg
First I would like to say that this hard case was not my first choice for my Washburn guitar. I wanted a case to transport my guitar back and forth from work. Me and my coworkers play on our breaks. I wanted a light soft case, but after looking at a soft case that would satisfy me, I discovered that I would have to spend over $100. That is when I looked at this case. It is a hard case that is not to heavy and provides superior protection for your guitar compared to a soft case. The fit is perfect because it is made to house Washburn guitars. The interior is a beautiful golden color with a hint of orange to it. The exterior is a dirty bronze/brown color that simulates leather. I believe the covering is a vinyl composite over wood to give it ridged stability. The interior sides are padded and the top has some raised padded sections to keep the guitar snug when the lid is closed. The storage compartment that is part of the neck support area of the guitar, is what you would expect in a guitar case. A piece of leather/vinyl attached to the storage compartment for easy opening. The exterior buckles perform smoothly and are not flimsy, they seem to be of high quality , so they will last provided the case is not abused. The case comes with a key for locking the case to keep people from picking up your guitar without your permission. When loaded with your guitar, the case is very well balanced and weight is distributed evenly for easy transportation. This case is beautiful…period! I got compliments on this $80.00 case, people seem to love the contrasting bronze gold combination. Looking for a solid functional case with beauty? Look no further friends. Enjoy!shortgoal
My original Washburn guitar case bit the dust many years ago. I purchased a replacement from a music store. It was a good case but a little too big for my Washburn. I was excited when I saw this case for sale on Musician's Friend. When I received it I placed my 1984 Washburn in it and it was a perfect fit. I felt my Washburn saying "Thank you. I am finally back home."Songman

Reviews:
I read several reviews before purchasing, so I wasn't expecting perfection. I like the unique tweed-like look, and the fact that it matches my blonde Alvarez guitar. The case is kind of a ten-footer, though. It looks classy standing in the corner, but close inspection reveals that the lid doesn't line up perfectly, the storage compartment door "hinge" is just the fuzzy clothing lining, and the faux tweed cover has bubbles and a line or two where it was hastily slapped onto the adhesive coat beneath. The inner and outer cover stitching misses a spot here and there, but not enough to worry about. Again, not unreasonable at the price point. The only thing I'm really slightly disappointed with is that it doesn't fit my new Alvarez Jumbo guitar like a glove – more like a generic case with gaps and wriggle room here and there. Heck, I bought a Chromacast for my Alvarez dread and it fit like they were made for each other. I'm not sure why several people complain about a smell. Those folks would probably be offended by new-car-smell too.Rob
While this case will technically fit an AF80CE-12, it will also fit any banjo, ukulele, or violin. This Alvarez jumbo 12-string moves around excessively inside of this JC1 case (J for jumbo). There is probably about 1/2 inch of open space around the guitar side when it is flush up against the other side, but that is not the big issue. There is about an inch of lateral movement (headstock to bottom strap button) within the case. At one extreme, the headstock is touching the end of the case and will bear the brunt of any fall. (See attached pictures.) But – it is a good looking case!Rockriver
I bought this to hold my new practice guitar. It is just what I wanted and thought I was getting. It looks good because I like the tweek-like look and the sculpted, arched look as opposed to a flat, thin cardboard look. I has decent clasps that close with only a little pushing to get them aligned. The lining is decent and doesn't have any strong smells. It has all the features I like, like four clasps as opposed to three or five, Feet bumpers on the back and the side to protect the fabric. A good size storage bin and best of all, extra room at the headstock so I can leave my Snark tuner on the headstock when I case my guitar. Awesome. The case is not constructed with precision. The alignment is decent, but not precise. The liner fits the case, but is high on some areas and slightly low on others. Fortunately there are no gaps or unglued spots, so for an economy case I am pleased. Another perk for me, is the Alvarez badge on the outside that matches the guitar. I am pleased.Whitehouse Willie

The Fender Jumbo Acoustic Case is pretty amazing considering it was $69! Lid and latch alignment are spot on. Interior is plush, clean and padded in the right spots. Outside there is slight tolex separation at side seam and slight glue exposure along bottom edge seam but, overall very clean tight workmanship. It fits my Yamaha jumbo very well. Plenty durable for my purposes – going from the house to the car.yawnotec
Purchased Fender's T-bucket Bass a few months ago, but the store didn't have the case. They had to order and the price with shipping was outrageous for me to buy. last week saw the cost of the case with free shipping and to me,from MusiciansFriend. Purchased and a deal that made sense. I have quite a few guitars and they all have cases, Hard Shell. This hard shell case is the perfect fit for my T-Bucket Bass. I can't see owning a guitar without a case.(I don"t even play out anymore), but they are protected. Thank You MusciansFriend.Bassbull
I bought this case mainly as a way to keep my acoustic humidified over the winter. So far it's doing a great job at that. My only issue is that the flap to the storage compartment was cut very crooked leaving a pretty sizable gap on one side. Large enough for a Kyser capo to fit through. For a brand like Fender and for this price, I would expect a little better quality control, so I'm taking one star off. It's not enough of a flaw to send back, but it's definitely enough to be disappointing and irritating. Otherwise great case. I would still recommend it.

Looks fantastic and the Yamaha emblem it quality stitching! Shipping was very fast, even during this covid 19 crisis. Great job samash! I very pleased with my purchase 👍Phil
Somewhat too large for an APX 600. The guitar can move around in it. Also needs a small pocket for picks/capo/etc. Otherwise good quality and low price point.Gary

Don't trust just any guitar case the gator journeyman deluxe wood case is rugged with a vintage flare that's made to protect your acoustic dreadnought guitar. the gator journeyman deluxe even looks like a 40-year-old case with its special beige-colored burlap finish and distinctive espresso-colored trim. but looks can be deceiving – since the journeyman deluxe's design is based on traditional guitar case construction it can handle the rigors of the road.
Reviews:
I bought this guitar for my Martin DX Johnny Cash. The big problem and flaw is ( THE LOCKING LATCH )! The top of the latch is secured with TWO SCREWS!! With the case closed and locked, I had three latches open, two screws out, top of the latch off, case open, GUITAR OUT, case closed, top of latch on, two screws in and three latches down in ( 60 SECONDS )!!! In out in 60 seconds, and the case looked like it had never been touched!! ( The point of locking the case is so no one can have easy access to you'r valuable instrument )! GOOD -NEWS PROBLEM SOLVED! I replaced the two screws with two (POP RIVETS) – Now I'm a happy camper!KOOL ( GUITAR HAND ) LUKE
I ordered 2 of these at once for guitars I built going out this week, and was unhappy when they arrived today. Both have big bubbles in the fabric on both the top and bottom where the fabric is not glued down to the wood underneath. I don't want my customers to see them so will look for alternative cases locally now if my upholstery guy can't fix them. The black vinyl gator cases I usually buy are a lot better looking! I gave them 3 stars because otherwise they look great, until you see the bubbles.Guitarmaker
Nice case, a bit oversized for my Seagull M6, but that was expected with a non model specific case. Looks very nice with the cloth covering and the blue plush lining. Is decently padded and provides more than enough protection for road trips of in the house. Overall a really nice case for the money.Cowboy Tim
13. Gator Gw-Lp-Brown Deluxe Wood Guitar Case
Product Details:
The interior of the gator cases gw-lps traditional lp guitar case features a plush magenta lining and a fabric cover for ultimate style and protection of your les paul-style instrument. it also features 5-ply wood shell with a traditional brown exterior. the guitar case fits most body sizes similar to the lp-type guitar.
Reviews:
This is a good case as long as these issues don't concern you: 1. My Gibson LP slides around inside the case. I find this surprising as this is a repro Lifton case. To secure the guitar inside the case, you have to pack it out with t-shirts or towels. Huh? 2. The latches feel flimsy. I'm not sure how much abuse these could withstand. I have an ESP case for a different guitar, and the latches on that are solid as are the latches on my OEM Gibson case. I think that Gator have sized this case to accommodate a bunch of different guitars, like Epiphone LPs and other single cutaway guitars. This makes sense for Gator but not for Gibson LP customers. The color is attractive. The pink interior is wild. The plywood feels solid. The tolex is well applied. In the end, I've kept the case as I only need it to transport my LP around in my car. I wouldn't be happy using this as a touring case. This really is a poseur's case. 🙂Chris
I bought this case as a replacement for the old chainsaw case that came with my 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This case is slightly longer than the standard Gibson USA cases. There is roughly 1 1/2 – 2 inches of room in the case which is a bit annoying since I can feel the guitar move around (back-forth) when I carry it. Outside of that, the case is very well made and durable. Very similar in appearance to the brown Gibson USA cases. Nice interior, strong hardshell outer case. Aside from the fit for my guitar, it works for me (I remedied the problem by putting a small towel to make the guitar snug). I would recommend the case if you just need to keep your guitar protected inside of your house but if you're using it for gigging purposes or traveling, I would suggest you look at something a little tougher and more secure. Outside of that, you can't beat the price.
It's not the 50's Gibson case, but very close. I have been looking since 1986 for a case like it. Finally being able to obtain it it,is cool. If you are on a budget, get it.Robert

Overall: Excellent case, very well built. Second one I have ordered. First one I ordered was last year for my epiphone aj 220 sce. Protects my axe well. This one I ordered for my new epiphone masterbilt dr 500mce!! Well passed and very immpessive looking case. Not cheap looking, and love the subtle brown trim, gold buckles and hinges. Love my epiphone guitars as I own three now. So having the gold epiphone month top of the case let's people know I am proud of the brand. zZounds is awesome!!! Have bought 9 things from them. Fast shipping and they pack them well. Customer service is quick to respond. Great case. Can't go wrong getting it. Even greater though is zZounds, my go to for all my musical needs.Ronald
I recently purchased a 2021 Epiphone Hummingbird Pro from a local dealer. Didn’t think I needed a case because I had two dreadnought cases at home. Didn’t fit, so has to do some research and came across this case. Fits perfectly, beautiful plush interior, and delivered in two days. Very happy!Mike Weyrauch Music
What a gorgeous case. Bought along with an Epiphone Masterbilt DRM-500mce. The fit of the guitar is absolutely perfect (as it should be, I suppose). Barely snug, but not tight, and allows no movement of the guitar whatsoever. Very plush lining, and a nice, deep accessory compartment. Plus – just look at the thing. The brown/black contrast with gold hardware is really great to look at, and the padded handle is a nice upgrade as well. I am not sure about the vinyl covering in the long run for rough handling; it feels soft and a bit pliable, even though the case itself seems very sturdy. We will see how it holds up over the years being transported, but if you're concerned about a case getting scratched up (isn't that what it's for though?), perhaps a plastic case would be a better choice. I won't mind it getting dinged and scratched, so long as it doesn't start completely peeling away. Time will tell. Also, I don't think this is the case to hand over to airline baggage handlers. I wouldn't put any wood-based case in checked baggage anyway; I'd go with a poly case at the very least. Nonetheless, it's definitely a beautiful and strong case, and certainly a good value, considering branded cases can sell for twice this price and more. Getting a gorgeous Epiphone case for an Epiphone guitar for under a C-note is a no brainer.IanEric.com

Reviews:
This is a perfect fit, 100% good fit for my Cordoba CE-5 classic guitar. It was recommended by my Sweetwater tech guy and I am very pleased with this. The quality, sturdiness, space, interior design, materials and weight are simply perfect for what I need it. Fully recommended.
The most important thing is that my Sire A4 Grand Auditorium (GA) (with cutaway) is slightly wider at the bulge in the bottom width of the guitar compared to a typical dreadnaught acoustic. After much research, I found even the Sire softshell case is TOO small for the Sire A4 Grand auditorium body width across it's widest point. I returned a couple of different cases to Sweetwater (which they did with VERY little issue). TBH, it was probably me that didn't realize the dreadnaught version of the acoustic is slightly narrower in width compared to the GA. Bottom line: The gator cases I've owned in the past have ALL been great for the price. I paid about $150 for this one, and it fits and seems to be very high quality. I don't gig anymore, so I can't give you a review of how it would handle an actual 3 month tour with roadies handling it. I just don't have that experience anymore. My positive recommendation for this case simply comes from the fit, the initial quality, the reasonable price, and the piece of mind to feel your acoustic is protected. Also, I buy from Sweetwater because they have made it SUPER EASY to end up with the right piece of equipment. Their customer service doesn't suck. Jeff
I just recently purchased a Yamaha FS-TA (TransAcoustic) guitar which is a smaller concert body. I couldn't find any case that my guitar would fit into like a glove. Many headaches later and after tons of research, bingo! This is the perfect case. I have to admit there was another case by Road Runner which was for a classical guitar that was a good fit. However, its build was not very good. It had stitching that was coming apart. So do yourself and fork up the extra cash because it's worth it!Richie

Reviews:
I ordered this with a bit of trepidation. 1/2 a year before lockdown I treated myself to a new guitar, but neglected to purchase a case a t the time. The music shop has since gone bust, leaving Leicester with hardly any shops to purchase guitars, with a view to a variety in choice. So I had to rely on the internet or travel to Nottingham, possible Cambridge for a Epiphone case to fit the guitar. I took the plunge and found this firm being slightly cheaper than the competition. The Case arrived, as promised; -well, one day late as I was out when the first delivery arrived. Not really their fault. Protected by a recyclable cardboard box. The case looks great and the craftsmanship appears to be top class. I can highly recommend the expense of a genuine Epiphone case.
I purchased this case 5 years ago to house a new EJ200 and it has been my main case ever since. Any other guitars I have without cases have been transported safely and I have yet to find one that does not fit. I can even stuff old Kay 17" archtops in it snugly and they ride fine without the bridge being pushed. As far as it's original intentions, this is the perfect case for a J200 style guitar. They fit like a glove. Straps can be an issue, especially a thick one, as you have to lay it on the top or back to fit. Construction is better than most cases in this price area. The interior plush is good quality. Storage space holds everything I possibly could need with room to spare. Headstock area is large enough for a 12 string headstock, but I use it for additional storage as a few carefully wrapped pedals fit with ease. The 2 issues I have with the case are: #1: The tolex covering is a bit soft and easy to nick if being bumped around. It's not a case you would go on tour with and expect to survive. Perfect for home use and occasional gigs. #2: after a few years the lid no longer lines up with the lower bout and you have to force it in place to line up with the latches. It may be due the being leaned up in that position for so long or the material just naturally warped over time. Either way, those are the only 2 issues I have with this case keeping it from being 5 stars. Highly recommended for any jumbo body that needs a case.Old Archtop Guy
Just recently purchased the Epiphone EJ200SCE and went ahead and picked up this case for it at the same time. Guitar fits beautifully and very snug! Plush interior material protects the guitar from all angles while inside and humidity is very easy to control if that issue arises for you! Plenty of interior storage both inside the storage compartment and under the headstock as well for something soft like a strap or cloth that won’t damage the finish or anything of course. Exterior is wrapped really well with tight stitching! Clasps and hardware all function flawlessly and smoothly without issues and the bumpers on the exterior are a nice touch as well which keeps the case finish somewhat protected when the guitar is placed on its base or it’s side while in the case. Also, this case offers pretty good protection for your instrument because of how hard the exterior material is along with the tight fit and well supported interior! Overall a perfect pairing for your instrument!Billy
