This is a good quality product for a great price. There are surely better built cases but at a cost of 3 times the price not that much better. This case fits my Epiphone Acoustic/Electric AJ220SCE well and I would buy one again and have ordered one for My Martin D45 copy.1115drh1949
Case arrived on time and packed adequately. Product matched online description. My FG300 fit in the case though snug at lower body width. It's a little bit heavier than the original but I don't mind as it offers good protection for my guitar that I treasure. I am a satisfied customer even though the price was a bit high. The Phantom
I value my instruments more than the styrofoam-filled nylon gig bag the guitar came out of the box with, so I got the hard case. It fit my guitar perfectly and I got it at the best price around. It has a key and it worked flawlessly. It is sturdy and ought to last as long as the guitar does. Thanks a lot.Harley D.

Reviews:
This is one of the better gig bags on the market. Its nicely padded with dense foam, its sturdy, and it stands up by itself. Where some of the gig bags at this level are sort of boxy, with the same depth from top to bottom, this one is form-fitted, with less depth at the neck, so seen sideways, it seems sleek and graceful. This also makes it easier to carry on ones back. A lot of cheaper gig bags offer vary little protection from bumps. This is FAR better than the cheap ones. There are some better ones, but Ive paid four times as much for them. I like the Alta Mira gig bag better, but it costs a lot more. I play an Alta Mira N600, and this gig bag fits, but its snug. A good hard shell case offers more protection, but its much more expensive. An approved flight case is far more.1-joyfulnoise
The bag seems sturdy enough, with no obvious defects. However, the zippered pocket isn't big enough to fit standard sheets of paper without folding the corners at the top, and a folder wouldn't fit at all. Making the pocket an inch taller would have made this much more useful. Also, the bag is a little tight on a Makala Baritone ukulele, depth-wise, but I'm assuming this is meant to fit a Cordoba uke. It does fit, but I feel like it's just a bit too snug, so the zipper is pulling the case tight when you zip it, putting a little extra strain on the seams.angelicbeaver
Whenever I think about Cordoba guitars, I think not about the town in Spain but about the Chrysler Cordoba from the 1970s and it's sauve spokesman, actor Ricardo Montalbán. I'm sure if he were alive today he would approve of this bag. It's not fine Corinthian leather, but it's very well made. Quality zippers (for a change) decent material and nicely padded straps.Thoughtful touches include a pocket and plastic rests on the bottom for standing the guitar on its end. Does not seem quite as durable the best quality bags, like a Levy's, but a pretty good value and more than adequate to do the job.Douglas

Reviews:
I bought this case for my vintage 1961 Goya G-10 Acoustic Classical guitar which I love so much. The case is build very well, especially for the price…I was very impressed. The latches are slightly on the loose side of things when latched…but they hold. As for the fit w/ my Goya G-10…..this case fits tight but I think it will take the shape of the guitar a little better as it settles and breaks in over time. The "inside measurements" in the description are very accurate. The coolest thing of all is I tried another old timer favorite acoustic guitar of mine inside this case and it FITS so well with just enough slack inside, IMO is a perfect fit for my departed Grandfathers old acoustic that I grew up noodling on…..a 1964 Silvertone "parlor" size acoustic guitar. So happy it fits in there that I am gonna order another case for the Silvertone and one more for my other Goya G-10. Highly recommend for the Silvertone old 60s parlor guitars for sure!!!!
The Gator GWE ¾ Economy Acoustic Guitar Case is a good fit for a RainSong 12-fret parlor (CH-PA). It took about an hour for the stuffing to compress where closing the case took no minimal extra effort (due to the depth of the RainSong). Here are the numbers in inches: Option: Total Length x Body Length x Lower Bout x Depth; Gator Interior: 38 x 19 x 13.74 x 4; Martin 12 fret 0: 37.75 x 19.125 x 13.5 x 4.0625; RainSong P12: 37.5 x 18.8 x 13.3 x 4.1; An interesting external dimension comparison (my measurements) GSmini Hard Bag: 39 x 16 x 6; Gator GWE ¾: 39.75 x 15.75 x 5.75; This case is not a top-of-the-line wood case and I don't think worthy of being used for checked luggage (maybe no wood case is). But it is as compact as it is going to get and a good option for that occasional gate checked carry-on. Since RainSong makes 12 and 14 fret Parlor guitars, their stock case is likely a couple of inches longer (and probably a more expensive AND HEAVIER case). It appears MF gets them bulk packaged, their shipping box was not that sturdy, and was very beaten up by UPS. There were dents in the case but not enough to bother returning (it is a testament to the case's construction that it was otherwise undamaged). Other retailers have it for quite a bit more and maybe that is with individual OEM packaging.Jon Fields
I bought this case for my Ibanez EW2012ASENT 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar. I like that it has a deep storage compartment, that fits my capo, pics, guitar strap, nicely! And the case comes with a key, to lock the metal clasp. Very Sturdy. I am confident that my guitar will be well protected!Victoria

Reviews:
After reading many reviews, I bought this case for a Gretsch G9210 Squareneck resonator. The guitar does fit, after I modified the neck support to accomodate the larger, square neck. But the case is very flexible and the top needs to be aligned into position every time is close the lid. Once the lid is closed and buckled, it is stronger, but I wouldn't trust it for anything other than light gigging and storage protection. For those interested in modifying the case for a squareneck, remove the screws holding the neck support and the storage compartment. Mine had brads in addition to the screws, and I had to use a hacksaw blade that I covered most of the teeth with duct tape to avoid damaging the interior cloth. Using a heat gun, peel back the cloth covering the neck support, which is a combination of wood and styrofoam, and trim it to the correct height and shape for your guitar. I cut the styrofoam a little lower and used a thin, dense closed cell foam under the neck for a little additional cushion. Reattach the cloth and reassemble the support. Once you have the correct height on the neck support, trim the front of the storage compartment to match and reassemble. I also have the Silver Creek classical case, which I use for a Fender brass bodied resonator, and it is made much better and stronger than this case. In my opinion it is a better value.aspenleaf
This case is the only one I could find thatd fit my Gretsch 5220, outside of the official $150/$200 case. It's not a perfect fit & the headstock just makes it but it's close enough to work. The guitar doesnt move at all inside & the exterior seems durable, though I hope not to ever test that. The tweed goes perfectly with my guitar & I think I prefer this case to the official one. The one issue I have is that the face of the case has a fairly long run in the tweed. It really doesnt matter much because the goal of a hard shell case isnt to have the prettiest one – it's to keep your guitar pretty & this case does that. I paid $80 with free delivery & I'd do it again. Great value!smackmyonion
I purchased this case for a new Gretsch G9531 Style 3 OO Grand Concert. Part of Gretsch's Roots Collection. This case is great. Padded inside and the right size for this guitar. The buckles and hinges seem to be good quality and the case is sturdy. The vinyl covering looks good and is fitted well. The guitar fits well but does have an extra inch on both sides of the waist. This is not a problem. It fits snug on the strings but not too bad as to bulge the top. The price was right and the case holds the guitar like it is supposed to. What more can you ask for.9425

Reviews:
Pros: Super nice looking (I got the gray). Stiffer than other gig bags, has an adjustable neck support inside, and has more padding around headstock and base – all of this will offer really good protection. Rubberized base is great if you have to set the bag down on wet or muddy ground. I also like the pocket for the backpack straps, so you can tuck them away if you're not using them. Roomy main pocket for all of the gear. Nice sturdy handle. Cons: Zipper pulls seem less sturdy and neck pocket is only good for capo, picks, and other thin things. We'll see how long it lasts with heavy use, but so far I am liking the bag a lot.Kim
This case is advertised to fit numerous solid body electrics, it should do just fine. The wanna-be Tele copy I am building fits well, my Gibson SG is OK in there as well. I thought I'd just see if the SG fit, it has a Gator hard case it lives in. There's a number of pockets and storage places with zipper closures, and several carry on your body or handle options. The interior has a few removable, and / or moveable spacers held in place with velcro, to fit various body sizes and neck lengths. Even a convenient D ring at the top of the case to hang on a hook or something. The exterior fabric appears to be a tough material, the interior is fairly plush. The sides are not solid, but let's call them resilient, to say the least! Typical Gator Case build quality, I'm glad I bought it. On another note, kudos to the Sam Ash customer reps, who helped resolve a shipping mixup over the Christmas rush. Having a problem with a shipment is one thing, how it gets resolved is what's important, and even though it took a while what with Christmas rush and New Year in the middle of the weeks, eventually the troubles got fixed. They did what they said they were going to do, and that's good enough for me!Loren
PROS: I'm really happy with this case. I wanted something higher quality and nicer looking to go with my beautiful new Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 (which came without a case). I was torn between the black and the beige versions but the beige turned out to be really cool. A little different from the norm and very classy. Materials are great, build quality is great. Obviously, this gig bag is designed for flexibility with many different guitars, so it's not absolutely form-fitting, but it has extra padding that you can manipulate however you like for a really snug fit with your guitar. It also has lots of nice little pockets. CONS: My ONLY gripe is that the laptop pocket has the zipper at an angle, which looks cool but actually shaves off enough room so that my 15" Macbook Pro just barely misses fitting in. If only they had made the zipper straight across instead of at an angle, my mid-sized laptop would have fit in perfectly. There's still a flap that I can secure over it, but I'd feel more comfortable if I could get that zipper closed too. Oh well. 13" and below should easily fit. OVERALL: Highest quality gig bag I've come across. I know that there are one or two other brands that make high end gig bags like this, but the ones I've seen are bulkier and more geared towards being almost hardshell case stand-ins. This bag will not replace your hardshell case at all, but it is the undisputed king of "gig bags." More supportive and far more attractive than anything else I've come across.BF

Reviews:
I give this bag only 3 stars because unless Gator upgraded the bag or is making it in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase. I bought one of these for a Sterling by Music Man bass as I was under the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). As the photos indicate, this bag will work for a Fender P Bass, but the Fender FB620 is a better bag for that and other Fender bass guitars while presently costing 10 less than the Gator while offering better protection and features. The Gator GB-4G seems to be more of a universal fit bag accommodating a wider range of sizes. The thing it seemed to have going for it the most was its zipper which seemed heavy duty. I say "seemed" because I returned the bass and so the bag as well.Vice
I bought a used guitar for back porch jamming. Needed a gig bag that didn't cost more than the guitar ,but would keep it safe and clean. Stopped at Sam ash because I was certain they had a variety of gig bags. Not my first visit or purchase. The Gator gig bag I chose is the economy for dreadnought guitars by Gator. Great price for my budget and well made. This bag is perfect for my needs. Easy carry and my guitar is covered.Just enough padding in all the right places for my guitar. Also accessory zipper compartment.Lindy
I'm giving this bag only 3 stars on account of the price increase; for it used to cost about 4-5 less than the Fender FE620 but now costs about 10 more than? Unless it has improved features or is being made in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase as the FE620 gig bag provides better protection and features (for Strat size guitars anyway). I purchased one in May 2021 and only because as I was of the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). I should have sized things up beforehand since the Sterling by Music Man Cutlass I bought the bag for is essentially a slightly shorter, slightly sleeker version of a Strat (for which the FE620 was made). The best thing the Gator bag seemed to have going for it was the zipper which seemed rather heavy duty while mesh pockets on the front of a gig bag aren't particularly practical while being subject to tearing/ripping. As you can see by the photos, there's too much room in the bag for a Strat size guitar (though one might be able to insert the headstock into the bag's internal top pocket to prevent the guitar from sliding around too much in the bag). The Gator GB-4G ELEC Series Gig Bag is more of a universal fit bag better suited for guitars longer and/or wider than a Strat.Vice

The Fender Jumbo Acoustic Case is pretty amazing considering it was $69! Lid and latch alignment are spot on. Interior is plush, clean and padded in the right spots. Outside there is slight tolex separation at side seam and slight glue exposure along bottom edge seam but, overall very clean tight workmanship. It fits my Yamaha jumbo very well. Plenty durable for my purposes – going from the house to the car.yawnotec
Purchased Fender's T-bucket Bass a few months ago, but the store didn't have the case. They had to order and the price with shipping was outrageous for me to buy. last week saw the cost of the case with free shipping and to me,from MusiciansFriend. Purchased and a deal that made sense. I have quite a few guitars and they all have cases, Hard Shell. This hard shell case is the perfect fit for my T-Bucket Bass. I can't see owning a guitar without a case.(I don"t even play out anymore), but they are protected. Thank You MusciansFriend.Bassbull
I bought this case mainly as a way to keep my acoustic humidified over the winter. So far it's doing a great job at that. My only issue is that the flap to the storage compartment was cut very crooked leaving a pretty sizable gap on one side. Large enough for a Kyser capo to fit through. For a brand like Fender and for this price, I would expect a little better quality control, so I'm taking one star off. It's not enough of a flaw to send back, but it's definitely enough to be disappointing and irritating. Otherwise great case. I would still recommend it.

I purchased this case for a custom built solid wood guitar. Humidity where I live is usually about 25%. I also purchased the hygrometer that fits inside the case. The first week I owned the case I would put the hygometer in the case, wait a couple of hours, then check it. Then I would put the hygrometer on the end table in the music room. I would wait a couple of hours and then repeat the process. Outside the case, 25%. Inside the case, 43%. I have now had the case for about three weeks. I checked it inside the case about an hour ago. 47%. If your solid wood guitars live in a dry climate, call this site right now and order one of these. It could save your guitar's life. The only down side is the case is only available right now for Classical/Flamenco guitars and Dreadnought guitars. My 12 string fit nicely in the Dreadnought case (Larrivee L-03R-12E) and I will be buying one of these cases soon for that guitar as well.MarkW
I'm a professional classical guitar maker and my case distributor recently went out of business after many decades. So I'm searching for a decent classical guitar case and having a hard time finding one at a reasonable price range. This Protege case DOES fit a standard CLASSICAL guitar. That's the best thing about this case. It's an average quality case, nothing more and nothing less. For in home use it's fine. For light gigging locally it's fine. I WOUND NOT check this case on an airplane! It's simply too lightly built.Bob
The case feels sturdy, as does the handle. I am not worried about damaging my guitar while it is in this case. However, the fit is extremely snug on my 1979 Guild Dreadnought – I have to really push to get it inside the case all of the way. Also, the lock does not function (as in, it will not lock). The latches do not line up exactly, but the case will still close with a little force. It also came with a small (~6"x~2"x~4") foam block with velcro on one side, covered in the same material used inside of the case. This block has multiple stains and marks on it and I am unsure as to the use.I cannot speak for this case's humidity control as I have no means of thoroughly testing it.Good:SturdyBuilt-in HumidifierValue (bought during "Stupid Deal of the Day" for ~$50)Bad:Latches don't line up 100% properlyExtremely snug, almost uncomfortably soStrange blockNon-functioning lockTom-AUTG9

Reviews:
I was having trouble finding a case to fit my 40-year old Gianinni guitar and called Musicians's Friend. The rep I spoke with, Joe, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful as we discussed a myriad of options. But it seemed every case we discussed was just under or over the guitar's measurements. I was concerned the case we selected would be a hair too small for my classical guitar, but the rep assured me that, while it may take some jiggling, it would be a perfect fit. Sure enough, when I tried to put the guitar in the case, it didn't fit. But with compressing select parts of the padding, the guitar slid in. Although it took a few times, the guitar now slides in and is removed effortlessly, but still very much protected by the snug fitting case. I am totally delighted not only with the product, but the customer service I experienced as well. This product is well-priced.Judy
This is a nice, substantial, hard-shell case with good quality hardware and a plush, cushioned interior. Keeping your guitar in a tightly-close-able case with a hygrometer and a (Planet Waves?) moisture source is pretty much necessary if you want to keep your classical guitar from low moisture damage. I don't think a gig bag does the trick. The GC Classic does the job and it doesn't break your bank account. It's lightweight and easy to secure. If you're considering a hard shell case, you might want to consider this model. I'm very happy with it.gsp1946
Sturdy, well-made, and lightweight this case is a great protection for my guitar. The very first time I used it on a road trip, it accidentally fell out of my car while unloading. It hit the concrete pavement and bounced. Both the case and the guitar unharmed. Good value for the money.bohemianyogi

The most important thing is that my Sire A4 Grand Auditorium (GA) (with cutaway) is slightly wider at the bulge in the bottom width of the guitar compared to a typical dreadnaught acoustic. After much research, I found even the Sire softshell case is TOO small for the Sire A4 Grand auditorium body width across it's widest point. I returned a couple of different cases to Sweetwater (which they did with VERY little issue). TBH, it was probably me that didn't realize the dreadnaught version of the acoustic is slightly narrower in width compared to the GA. Bottom line: The gator cases I've owned in the past have ALL been great for the price. I paid about $150 for this one, and it fits and seems to be very high quality. I don't gig anymore, so I can't give you a review of how it would handle an actual 3 month tour with roadies handling it. I just don't have that experience anymore. My positive recommendation for this case simply comes from the fit, the initial quality, the reasonable price, and the piece of mind to feel your acoustic is protected. Also, I buy from Sweetwater because they have made it SUPER EASY to end up with the right piece of equipment. Their customer service doesn't suck. Jeff
I just recently purchased a Yamaha FS-TA (TransAcoustic) guitar which is a smaller concert body. I couldn't find any case that my guitar would fit into like a glove. Many headaches later and after tons of research, bingo! This is the perfect case. I have to admit there was another case by Road Runner which was for a classical guitar that was a good fit. However, its build was not very good. It had stitching that was coming apart. So do yourself and fork up the extra cash because it's worth it!Richie

I ordered this with a bit of trepidation. 1/2 a year before lockdown I treated myself to a new guitar, but neglected to purchase a case a t the time. The music shop has since gone bust, leaving Leicester with hardly any shops to purchase guitars, with a view to a variety in choice. So I had to rely on the internet or travel to Nottingham, possible Cambridge for a Epiphone case to fit the guitar. I took the plunge and found this firm being slightly cheaper than the competition. The Case arrived, as promised; -well, one day late as I was out when the first delivery arrived. Not really their fault. Protected by a recyclable cardboard box. The case looks great and the craftsmanship appears to be top class. I can highly recommend the expense of a genuine Epiphone case.
I purchased this case 5 years ago to house a new EJ200 and it has been my main case ever since. Any other guitars I have without cases have been transported safely and I have yet to find one that does not fit. I can even stuff old Kay 17" archtops in it snugly and they ride fine without the bridge being pushed. As far as it's original intentions, this is the perfect case for a J200 style guitar. They fit like a glove. Straps can be an issue, especially a thick one, as you have to lay it on the top or back to fit. Construction is better than most cases in this price area. The interior plush is good quality. Storage space holds everything I possibly could need with room to spare. Headstock area is large enough for a 12 string headstock, but I use it for additional storage as a few carefully wrapped pedals fit with ease. The 2 issues I have with the case are: #1: The tolex covering is a bit soft and easy to nick if being bumped around. It's not a case you would go on tour with and expect to survive. Perfect for home use and occasional gigs. #2: after a few years the lid no longer lines up with the lower bout and you have to force it in place to line up with the latches. It may be due the being leaned up in that position for so long or the material just naturally warped over time. Either way, those are the only 2 issues I have with this case keeping it from being 5 stars. Highly recommended for any jumbo body that needs a case.Old Archtop Guy
Just recently purchased the Epiphone EJ200SCE and went ahead and picked up this case for it at the same time. Guitar fits beautifully and very snug! Plush interior material protects the guitar from all angles while inside and humidity is very easy to control if that issue arises for you! Plenty of interior storage both inside the storage compartment and under the headstock as well for something soft like a strap or cloth that won’t damage the finish or anything of course. Exterior is wrapped really well with tight stitching! Clasps and hardware all function flawlessly and smoothly without issues and the bumpers on the exterior are a nice touch as well which keeps the case finish somewhat protected when the guitar is placed on its base or it’s side while in the case. Also, this case offers pretty good protection for your instrument because of how hard the exterior material is along with the tight fit and well supported interior! Overall a perfect pairing for your instrument!Billy

Reviews:
I read several reviews before purchasing, so I wasn't expecting perfection. I like the unique tweed-like look, and the fact that it matches my blonde Alvarez guitar. The case is kind of a ten-footer, though. It looks classy standing in the corner, but close inspection reveals that the lid doesn't line up perfectly, the storage compartment door "hinge" is just the fuzzy clothing lining, and the faux tweed cover has bubbles and a line or two where it was hastily slapped onto the adhesive coat beneath. The inner and outer cover stitching misses a spot here and there, but not enough to worry about. Again, not unreasonable at the price point. The only thing I'm really slightly disappointed with is that it doesn't fit my new Alvarez Jumbo guitar like a glove – more like a generic case with gaps and wriggle room here and there. Heck, I bought a Chromacast for my Alvarez dread and it fit like they were made for each other. I'm not sure why several people complain about a smell. Those folks would probably be offended by new-car-smell too.Rob
While this case will technically fit an AF80CE-12, it will also fit any banjo, ukulele, or violin. This Alvarez jumbo 12-string moves around excessively inside of this JC1 case (J for jumbo). There is probably about 1/2 inch of open space around the guitar side when it is flush up against the other side, but that is not the big issue. There is about an inch of lateral movement (headstock to bottom strap button) within the case. At one extreme, the headstock is touching the end of the case and will bear the brunt of any fall. (See attached pictures.) But – it is a good looking case!Rockriver
I bought this to hold my new practice guitar. It is just what I wanted and thought I was getting. It looks good because I like the tweek-like look and the sculpted, arched look as opposed to a flat, thin cardboard look. I has decent clasps that close with only a little pushing to get them aligned. The lining is decent and doesn't have any strong smells. It has all the features I like, like four clasps as opposed to three or five, Feet bumpers on the back and the side to protect the fabric. A good size storage bin and best of all, extra room at the headstock so I can leave my Snark tuner on the headstock when I case my guitar. Awesome. The case is not constructed with precision. The alignment is decent, but not precise. The liner fits the case, but is high on some areas and slightly low on others. Fortunately there are no gaps or unglued spots, so for an economy case I am pleased. Another perk for me, is the Alvarez badge on the outside that matches the guitar. I am pleased.Whitehouse Willie
