This is a good quality product for a great price. There are surely better built cases but at a cost of 3 times the price not that much better. This case fits my Epiphone Acoustic/Electric AJ220SCE well and I would buy one again and have ordered one for My Martin D45 copy.1115drh1949
Case arrived on time and packed adequately. Product matched online description. My FG300 fit in the case though snug at lower body width. It's a little bit heavier than the original but I don't mind as it offers good protection for my guitar that I treasure. I am a satisfied customer even though the price was a bit high. The Phantom
I value my instruments more than the styrofoam-filled nylon gig bag the guitar came out of the box with, so I got the hard case. It fit my guitar perfectly and I got it at the best price around. It has a key and it worked flawlessly. It is sturdy and ought to last as long as the guitar does. Thanks a lot.Harley D.

Reviews:
Outstandingly well made case. Very sturdy. You will not have to worry about your guitar when it's in this case. Lined with fur material; heavy duty latches, and chrome "feet" tips that keep the case off the floor when you sit it down. Made with plywood, so it is heavy and very durable. It was a little expensive, but I know my guitar is well protected. I already had a Takamine case for my other guitar, and this ChromaCast case is made as well, or even better than the Takamine.Doris
Looks good but cheaply made and flimsy. Top of case will not stay opened unless you use some force to slightly stretch the strap but you have to be careful not to over stress it or it may detach on one end. Plus the latches on the top section of the case didn't seem seem a bit misaligned the first time and afterwards when closing the case. Spend the extra money and get a better made case.GBPKRMAN

Reviews:
I read several reviews before purchasing, so I wasn't expecting perfection. I like the unique tweed-like look, and the fact that it matches my blonde Alvarez guitar. The case is kind of a ten-footer, though. It looks classy standing in the corner, but close inspection reveals that the lid doesn't line up perfectly, the storage compartment door "hinge" is just the fuzzy clothing lining, and the faux tweed cover has bubbles and a line or two where it was hastily slapped onto the adhesive coat beneath. The inner and outer cover stitching misses a spot here and there, but not enough to worry about. Again, not unreasonable at the price point. The only thing I'm really slightly disappointed with is that it doesn't fit my new Alvarez Jumbo guitar like a glove – more like a generic case with gaps and wriggle room here and there. Heck, I bought a Chromacast for my Alvarez dread and it fit like they were made for each other. I'm not sure why several people complain about a smell. Those folks would probably be offended by new-car-smell too.Rob
While this case will technically fit an AF80CE-12, it will also fit any banjo, ukulele, or violin. This Alvarez jumbo 12-string moves around excessively inside of this JC1 case (J for jumbo). There is probably about 1/2 inch of open space around the guitar side when it is flush up against the other side, but that is not the big issue. There is about an inch of lateral movement (headstock to bottom strap button) within the case. At one extreme, the headstock is touching the end of the case and will bear the brunt of any fall. (See attached pictures.) But – it is a good looking case!Rockriver
I bought this to hold my new practice guitar. It is just what I wanted and thought I was getting. It looks good because I like the tweek-like look and the sculpted, arched look as opposed to a flat, thin cardboard look. I has decent clasps that close with only a little pushing to get them aligned. The lining is decent and doesn't have any strong smells. It has all the features I like, like four clasps as opposed to three or five, Feet bumpers on the back and the side to protect the fabric. A good size storage bin and best of all, extra room at the headstock so I can leave my Snark tuner on the headstock when I case my guitar. Awesome. The case is not constructed with precision. The alignment is decent, but not precise. The liner fits the case, but is high on some areas and slightly low on others. Fortunately there are no gaps or unglued spots, so for an economy case I am pleased. Another perk for me, is the Alvarez badge on the outside that matches the guitar. I am pleased.Whitehouse Willie

Reviews:
The Fender Jumbo Acoustic Case is pretty amazing considering it was $69! Lid and latch alignment are spot on. Interior is plush, clean and padded in the right spots. Outside there is slight tolex separation at side seam and slight glue exposure along bottom edge seam but, overall very clean tight workmanship. It fits my Yamaha jumbo very well. Plenty durable for my purposes – going from the house to the car.yawnotec
Purchased Fender's T-bucket Bass a few months ago, but the store didn't have the case. They had to order and the price with shipping was outrageous for me to buy. last week saw the cost of the case with free shipping and to me,from MusiciansFriend. Purchased and a deal that made sense. I have quite a few guitars and they all have cases, Hard Shell. This hard shell case is the perfect fit for my T-Bucket Bass. I can't see owning a guitar without a case.(I don"t even play out anymore), but they are protected. Thank You MusciansFriend.Bassbull
I bought this case mainly as a way to keep my acoustic humidified over the winter. So far it's doing a great job at that. My only issue is that the flap to the storage compartment was cut very crooked leaving a pretty sizable gap on one side. Large enough for a Kyser capo to fit through. For a brand like Fender and for this price, I would expect a little better quality control, so I'm taking one star off. It's not enough of a flaw to send back, but it's definitely enough to be disappointing and irritating. Otherwise great case. I would still recommend it.

Reviews:
I bought this case for my vintage 1961 Goya G-10 Acoustic Classical guitar which I love so much. The case is build very well, especially for the price…I was very impressed. The latches are slightly on the loose side of things when latched…but they hold. As for the fit w/ my Goya G-10…..this case fits tight but I think it will take the shape of the guitar a little better as it settles and breaks in over time. The "inside measurements" in the description are very accurate. The coolest thing of all is I tried another old timer favorite acoustic guitar of mine inside this case and it FITS so well with just enough slack inside, IMO is a perfect fit for my departed Grandfathers old acoustic that I grew up noodling on…..a 1964 Silvertone "parlor" size acoustic guitar. So happy it fits in there that I am gonna order another case for the Silvertone and one more for my other Goya G-10. Highly recommend for the Silvertone old 60s parlor guitars for sure!!!!
The Gator GWE ¾ Economy Acoustic Guitar Case is a good fit for a RainSong 12-fret parlor (CH-PA). It took about an hour for the stuffing to compress where closing the case took no minimal extra effort (due to the depth of the RainSong). Here are the numbers in inches: Option: Total Length x Body Length x Lower Bout x Depth; Gator Interior: 38 x 19 x 13.74 x 4; Martin 12 fret 0: 37.75 x 19.125 x 13.5 x 4.0625; RainSong P12: 37.5 x 18.8 x 13.3 x 4.1; An interesting external dimension comparison (my measurements) GSmini Hard Bag: 39 x 16 x 6; Gator GWE ¾: 39.75 x 15.75 x 5.75; This case is not a top-of-the-line wood case and I don't think worthy of being used for checked luggage (maybe no wood case is). But it is as compact as it is going to get and a good option for that occasional gate checked carry-on. Since RainSong makes 12 and 14 fret Parlor guitars, their stock case is likely a couple of inches longer (and probably a more expensive AND HEAVIER case). It appears MF gets them bulk packaged, their shipping box was not that sturdy, and was very beaten up by UPS. There were dents in the case but not enough to bother returning (it is a testament to the case's construction that it was otherwise undamaged). Other retailers have it for quite a bit more and maybe that is with individual OEM packaging.Jon Fields
I bought this case for my Ibanez EW2012ASENT 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar. I like that it has a deep storage compartment, that fits my capo, pics, guitar strap, nicely! And the case comes with a key, to lock the metal clasp. Very Sturdy. I am confident that my guitar will be well protected!Victoria

Excellent product, item fit perfect my Yamaha 700 fgx sc. Padding super thick, well worth it for your money .Procoro
Wow! I could tell by the picture that it looked like a really nice acoustic guitar case. I was really impressed and absolutely thrilled when I received it however. When I opened it, the case actually held it`s shape and did not flop over like other "soft shells". Stood straight up on its own. Empty! Looks and feels to me like the entire perimeter along the sides are re-enforced with a very durable foam like cushion or possibly a plastic frame of some sort. Maybe? Also love all of the different straps and handles for the way you may need to carry it. Nice large storage pocket too for all of the accessories you need! Finally, you just can`t beat the price on a quality case such as this one. It is by far, worth every penny you pay for it! Highly recommended! 10 stars!pjrocks216

The most important thing is that my Sire A4 Grand Auditorium (GA) (with cutaway) is slightly wider at the bulge in the bottom width of the guitar compared to a typical dreadnaught acoustic. After much research, I found even the Sire softshell case is TOO small for the Sire A4 Grand auditorium body width across it's widest point. I returned a couple of different cases to Sweetwater (which they did with VERY little issue). TBH, it was probably me that didn't realize the dreadnaught version of the acoustic is slightly narrower in width compared to the GA. Bottom line: The gator cases I've owned in the past have ALL been great for the price. I paid about $150 for this one, and it fits and seems to be very high quality. I don't gig anymore, so I can't give you a review of how it would handle an actual 3 month tour with roadies handling it. I just don't have that experience anymore. My positive recommendation for this case simply comes from the fit, the initial quality, the reasonable price, and the piece of mind to feel your acoustic is protected. Also, I buy from Sweetwater because they have made it SUPER EASY to end up with the right piece of equipment. Their customer service doesn't suck. Jeff
I just recently purchased a Yamaha FS-TA (TransAcoustic) guitar which is a smaller concert body. I couldn't find any case that my guitar would fit into like a glove. Many headaches later and after tons of research, bingo! This is the perfect case. I have to admit there was another case by Road Runner which was for a classical guitar that was a good fit. However, its build was not very good. It had stitching that was coming apart. So do yourself and fork up the extra cash because it's worth it!Richie

I ordered this with a bit of trepidation. 1/2 a year before lockdown I treated myself to a new guitar, but neglected to purchase a case a t the time. The music shop has since gone bust, leaving Leicester with hardly any shops to purchase guitars, with a view to a variety in choice. So I had to rely on the internet or travel to Nottingham, possible Cambridge for a Epiphone case to fit the guitar. I took the plunge and found this firm being slightly cheaper than the competition. The Case arrived, as promised; -well, one day late as I was out when the first delivery arrived. Not really their fault. Protected by a recyclable cardboard box. The case looks great and the craftsmanship appears to be top class. I can highly recommend the expense of a genuine Epiphone case.
I purchased this case 5 years ago to house a new EJ200 and it has been my main case ever since. Any other guitars I have without cases have been transported safely and I have yet to find one that does not fit. I can even stuff old Kay 17" archtops in it snugly and they ride fine without the bridge being pushed. As far as it's original intentions, this is the perfect case for a J200 style guitar. They fit like a glove. Straps can be an issue, especially a thick one, as you have to lay it on the top or back to fit. Construction is better than most cases in this price area. The interior plush is good quality. Storage space holds everything I possibly could need with room to spare. Headstock area is large enough for a 12 string headstock, but I use it for additional storage as a few carefully wrapped pedals fit with ease. The 2 issues I have with the case are: #1: The tolex covering is a bit soft and easy to nick if being bumped around. It's not a case you would go on tour with and expect to survive. Perfect for home use and occasional gigs. #2: after a few years the lid no longer lines up with the lower bout and you have to force it in place to line up with the latches. It may be due the being leaned up in that position for so long or the material just naturally warped over time. Either way, those are the only 2 issues I have with this case keeping it from being 5 stars. Highly recommended for any jumbo body that needs a case.Old Archtop Guy
Just recently purchased the Epiphone EJ200SCE and went ahead and picked up this case for it at the same time. Guitar fits beautifully and very snug! Plush interior material protects the guitar from all angles while inside and humidity is very easy to control if that issue arises for you! Plenty of interior storage both inside the storage compartment and under the headstock as well for something soft like a strap or cloth that won’t damage the finish or anything of course. Exterior is wrapped really well with tight stitching! Clasps and hardware all function flawlessly and smoothly without issues and the bumpers on the exterior are a nice touch as well which keeps the case finish somewhat protected when the guitar is placed on its base or it’s side while in the case. Also, this case offers pretty good protection for your instrument because of how hard the exterior material is along with the tight fit and well supported interior! Overall a perfect pairing for your instrument!Billy

Product Details:
This is not a gibson case. i painted the old school gibson logo on it to match my gibson acoustic. will fit most dreadnought cases.this case has some minor vinyl peeling and bubbling on one side. i glued all the problematic places with wood glue. should no longer peel or worsen. the case has many stickers on it. i recently removed them. overall it's a decent case that has held up well for me. i just upgraded to a touring case and no longer need it. figured i'd try to find it a new home.

Purchased this case to go along with a 'first' electric guitar/amp for my grandson's birthday. When I picked the items up at the store, I noticed a chemical smell—thought it was just a 'new item' smell. I was way wrong. When my grandson came over for his birthday party, he popped open the case—and the room filled with a strong toxic chemical smell—who knows what caused the odor that was outgassing from the inside of the case??? Glue? Waste plastic recycled into this item? Pesticides? All of the above? The smell caused everyone in the room to gag, watery eyes, sneezing, itching skin, etc. The odor had even gotten into the Epiphone Les Paul guitar—what was to be a gift turned into a big disappointment. I put the open case in my garage for a week with no success—it still reeks and causes skin irritation/watery eyes. I'm going to take the case back for a refund and really check out any replacements. (Do an internet check on 'toxic plastic from China'—lots of products with this problem. I purchased a beginner set of harmonicas over two years ago and had the same problem—the chemical odor never went away and I tossed the harmonicas,)Gary
This case fits my D-16E Martin perfect, nice and snug, no slop or movement, I love it, will buy another one for my other guitar. Its a quality case and everything works fllaughlessly. And the price is great, I can't say nothing g bad about this case. It beats the soft gig bag that my Martin came in.William
I purchased this case for my PRS SE Acoustic guitar. Body fits fine but the neck section of the case is longer than my guitar. Not an issue, though as I have my leather strap I can put above the headstock. Can't complain about the price as it was on sale at the time I bought it. Good quality. Thumbs up!James

Reviews:
rugged case that fits my D'angelico Gramercy well. Should fit any other brand of Grand Auditorium well too. There's just a tiny bit of wiggle room, but it doesn't bother me too much. It's fine for going around to rehearsal and light gigs. If you're a touring pro or looking to ship a guitar in this case you'll want something beefier. The insides are very well padded as it is. As a stupid deal of the day, this was a great purchase. If you're looking at paying retail, this isn't a bad choice but they're may be something better for your needs out thereBobby B.
i first bought a skb case at 3 times the cost of this and the foam insert fell out of the top when i opened it. i then bought a gator case also about 3 times more in cost and it was so bent up the case was hard to close and would not seal. you could stick 2 credit cards into the latched case between the gaps. i even bought an epiphone branded plywood case and it arrived with what looked like a bullet hole in the bottom bout end. i then bought this for $49 on sale with very low expectations the case was put together poorly, had glue slopped all over the case inside and out, the fuzzy black lining is very thin and cheap and the foam is hard. now the good, it has 6 latches that all work, one is lockable but you can use nearly any suitcase key to unlock it,the two sides come together easily and the fit is tight as it should be, the hinges are well placed and work properly. the outside is hard plastic with a nice uniform finish and what i expected and wanted. the handle is well attached and solid. my epiphone les paul limited custom pro fits like a glove. this is not something i would check at the airlines but it should be fine in the car and protect against kids and dogs in the house if this case had cost $100 or more i would have sent it back, at $49 sale price it is better than i had hoped for and better than the gator or skb. the thing all of these cases have in common is poor workmanship, cheap materials and made in china! after i cleaned up all of the glue it looks quite nice. it is a shame that the companies that build all of these chinese cases rely on the customer to do their quality control work. .crazy gunsmith
I bought a couple of these when they were on sale and they're exaclty what I expected. They're not top of the line, and they certainly are NOT suitable for checked luggage on a flight, but for everyday use they're fine. My Seagull Mariner fits perfectly. My Rogue resonator fits a little loose but it's fine. I've also used one to transport a D'Angelico hollowbody and it fit fine with a towel tossed on top to keep it from bouncing around.Doug

Fits my classic Gibson 16 archtop perfectly!nmcdap.28owiuz
Nice well built case. Has latches on the front side which is a nice feature because there are no latches on the back which many users forget about unlatching until its too late and they get broken. The only con I could see is they could have put more padding in the interior although there is sufficient padding. My dreadnought fits a little loose but not a deal breaker.mig46

I called Sam Ash after I ordered a 1/2 size guitar case through Amazon but fulfilled by Sam Ash. I ordered the wrong size. I called Sam Ash and got David on the phone. After giving him the model of the Yamaha guitar I bought for my 4 year old granddaughter, he told me what case was available to fit that guitar. The case is of excellent quality and fits like a glove. David also informed me of lessons available for my granddaughter in Manhattan where she lives. So that is my next step. I could not be happier with the service I receivedPapa

Reviews:
A very good soft case for the money. I am personally using it with an older BB404 model that I put some Dimarzio Model J's in. I kind of grew fond of it and wanted a better way of protecting it. It is semi rigid, and has padding from the side of the instrument as well as the top and back. It has backpack type straps to keep your hands free to carry other things. It has a large storage pouch on the front of the bag. I would assume that it would fit a good majority of the basses that Yamaha makes and a perfect value for the newer BB basses like the BB424keithfisher972
