I am so thankful that I found one at such a cheap price and in this great of a condition. This piece was taken care of as far as dust, rust, wear and tear go. And completeness. It was missing the dongle which did make it a good bit cheaper. Thankfully, I had a copy of the same model. The copy that I had, the dongle worked but not the guitar. I was looking for one without any stickers on it, but I digress. 10/10cubeholic0

Good game with older songs. Not much fun on hard lvls with the sweet songs. Normal mode is do able it reminds me of play Simon says, with some good music and it's own little twist. I would recommend this to players if they doing the same thing over and overchristopher.w

Awesome stuff here. You get your favorite music and rock out with your guitar. It’s different from other games because you’re rocking out, standing up and slamming that guitar. A must have especially if you have friends over and go head to head. Love the guitar hero bundles.john.k

Loved playing guitar hero again. Guitar controllers worked with no issues. I adjusted the audio and visual lag from the game itself and I had no problems with the timing of buttons after that. I suggest guitar hero 3 for these controllers 🙂p-hhog-dze0har

Easy to play, hard to master and impossible to put it down. This game is pure fun! IMO you need to get a real electronic drum kit for the best experience. Customs keep the game alive for endless hours of fun!jerrylive365

I’ve been advancing my guitar skills for a while now and this game does help with figuring out some new things here and there. As for the disk itself, it’s clean and it starts right up as promised. Sadly I had to spend the remainder of my money getting a Real Tone Cable for way too much since apparently they’re getting rare. I bought this product because is looked fun, it seemed to claim to teach you to play Guitar, and I also needed an Amp for my Electric Guitar but I could never afford one and this game makes your TV and sound system an Amp with full customization of sound for less than $100 so it would save me maybe thousands of dollars on that equipment. I first put the game in and I liked how challenging it was, it is a very new and fresh kind of game. I really enjoy knowing I am the one making the actual sound of the guitar and it is very encouraging to make me practice and play guitar. I dislike how difficult the game is, they made it sound like it would be easy and slowly work up so everyone is able to play, though in my experience the game makes me feel like a complete loser.. I would be on the easiest difficulty just hitting simple notes then I would level up the difficulty and it would throw in crazy stuff I had never seen yet or things way out of my current league, and when I would miss them it would level me back down to just hitting repetitive simple notes. I can master it in time surely but I do not think it is fun for a newbie. I played Piano since I was a small child and am familiar with playing instruments and I taught myself the guitar maybe last year and I made it a point to stay away from TABS so I can truly master the instrument and know how to play it, and play anything..my self progress I feel will teach my how to play guitar better than rocksmith, because I have yet to see Rocksmith tell me what notes I am hitting on the strings.. though rocksmith does name the chords and has taught me chords at a much quicker pace than I was learning them on my own..HOWEVER I find it very stupid and difficult to learn what rocksmith is telling you to hit for chords during gameplay, and the only way you can really hit them is if you practice chords in the technique section and then hope a song does not throw up a chord you did not memorize yet. I had to pause the game every time I seen a chord coming and look at a book of guitar chords I have and study it, before I was able to enjoy playing the game with chords. There does not seem to be online multiplayer which bummed me out but the game is cool enough to survive without it I suppose. So I bought this game thinking it was a game AND guitar teacher, but I have realized it is mostly just a very advanced version of guitar hero where you do not "intelligently" learn to play songs, but will learn to play them from memory, which is just like learning from TABS which I wanted to avoid in the first place. I have not too much experience with this game so do not buy or not buy just because of my review, but if something I said would cause you to not buy the game, look into the game further and see if what i say is true and if it is indeed a problem to you, do not buy.. I think this is a decently fun game even though it was not what I expected and everyone is sure to have fun playing it the first few times at least. The thing I am most happy with, and exceeded my expectations, was the amplifier.. With the custom sounds you can unlock I have found the perfect sound I always wanted out of my guitar. One last thing.The options to practice a song I find very difficult to use and even when you figure them out,they are WRONGif they were actually meant to help someone practice a song,it is almost like they do not want you to learn the songs as quickly and easily as you could.user6612

So there's a few things I liked about this game. They changed the guitar so that way for people like me who can't reach the orange button, now I can reach all the buttons on the guitar. There's the regular version to unlock all of the songs they have Guitar Hero TV where people can play online and you can play other songs then the ones on the game. The reason I only have it 3 stars is the actual guitar itself. My guitar was not working well so we returned it and got a newer one. This one now the strum doesn't really work that well at all. Sometimes down works and it doesn't. So majority you have to strum up but, again works sometimes. Now it has to be returned a second time. So for an anticipated game, game was awesome. The equipment on the other hand needs work.nicole.f

Will have to say I was surprised by this game. Being a long time player of the guitar hero games and mastering them to a high level I thought this was going to be a breeze. I was wrong. The 6 button layout is rather deep allowing complex chords at higher difficulties and the overall game play is fun and adds a new dimension to the genre. I thought i wasn't going to like the realistic visuals approach but this didn't matter in the end as the actual story mode this is used in is really short and can be completed in a few hours. The GHTV mode is where I have had the most fun as playing the random collection of songs was keeping me entertained and has a much larger selection of music which is going to be added to over time. The only problem with this mode is its free-to-play model. Where you need to earn coins to buy plays to play the songs you want otherwise you have to wait for them in rotation. This may sound horrible but its not too bad in the beginning as plays are easy to earn as your low levels increase. But after about level 10 you will have to rely on the coins to be able to get your plays. Overall I enjoyed the game and if they keep adding new music to GHTV to play whilst earning coins to play the songs you want, this model isn't too bad. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play a new guitar hero game, but if your all about playing the same songs over and over to increase your score and go for perfect runs it might not be the title for you.Bawhawhaw

Warriors of Rock was designed to return to the series' roots (to late), focusing heavily on lead guitar and towards the existing base of skilled players of the series. The game features a remade career mode called "Quest" set to a story influenced by heavy metal and narrated by Gene Simmons. Part of the story is influenced by the lyrics of the song "2112" by Rush, who narrate this portion of the game, while the finale is set to a new song performed by Megadeth and written by Dave Mustaine specifically to challenge Guitar Hero players. The game features 93 songs on disc, and compatibility with existing exportable songs and downloadable content from several previous games in the Guitar Hero series. Highlights the "2112" segment and the game's improved Quickplay+ mode, but a lackluster Quest mode's story and the lack of focus within the soundtrack. There was a tear on the box (which I assume happened during the shipping process), but it was packaged well enough that nothing broke. I was surprised when I found a USB adapter inside the guitar. More than I was expecting, but I already had one, so I have a spare now I guess. Plays perfectly, a bit squeaky, but that's about it. Easily recommended purchase for those looking for a plastic guitar. Although I wouldn't anticipate getting more than just the guitar, I guess I was just lucky.virgijalo_0

This game is the best guitar hero game ever, and that's including the new one that have out for the XBOX ONE. The graphics is the best of the series (before the XBOX ONE because of course that game is the best since it's just "live people"), the songs are great also. You really get a large variety of different music and it's A LOT of songs to play through. I love that you can customize your character and you just have a lot of options to choose how you want to play. If you like your music note hitting games, THIS IS A MUST HAVE.roosoraida

In my opinion, this game was alright. The drums got in the way though – probably because I'm so used to playing guitar hero, and have grown fond of playing lead guitar. Either way, the drums end up seeming bulky, always in the way, and cumbersome to move, not to mention put together. They also need a stool of some sort, and built in silencers would be nice, as opposed to having to shell out another 15-30 bucks for a generally mediocre game you already pay 180 bucks for in stores. Graphics are wonderful, though the characters move a little on the funky side (they're movements are just odd, sometimes). It's much better than games like guitar hero character-wise, though, that's for sure. And another saving grace is the fact that playing drums, and even the guitar sometimes helps with actually playing the real instruments. The game in general is a good one, but honestly, the creators should have chosen better songs for it. Some just aren't the catchiest of tunes, and others are just a chore to play because of how boring they are. A couple key songs make it an alright game in general. But it's best enjoyed when playing with a group of people. Otherwise, don't waste your time, nor your money. Get Guitar Hero, or better yet, get a real guitar (bass or otherwise), drum set, or microphone and learn how to play/sing the songs you actually like.dee06247

I had heard good reviews about Rock Band, with a few accounts of defective products, so I was a bit nervous about wether everything would work or not. However, upon setting it up (only took around 10 minutes, mainly for the drums – no tools needed), everything worked perfectly! After migrating over from Guitar Hero, I found most of the songs (the starting ones plus a few unlocked ones) quite easy, even on Expert. The drums were a bit harder, but after playing several songs, I was able to move up to the Meduim level without too much difficulty. The Hard level is still a bit challenging, but it doesn't appear impossible. The guitar that came with it is a lot lighter than both the Guitar Hero II and III Guitars, and also a slight bit biger, but I like the look of it. I was also pleased to find automatic settings to calibrate the timing for my TV (plasma and HD TVs sometimes have a slight lag between the video and audio). As for gameplay, everything is very smooth and clean, even with nearly a full band playing (everyone but the singer). All in all, this game is great fun, which is multiplied when there is more than one person. I can already tell it's going to be perfect for parties. However, if there is only one person you're buying it for, I would recommend Guitar Hero III, since a good chunk of the fun is from multiplayer (not that solo mode is bad). On one last note, the song list on Rock Band is a lot more varied. My 10 year old sister, my dad (an 80s guy), and myself (who digs classic rock) all found something we liked.whitefox1324

Rock Band is what Guitar Hero was a few years back, a refreshing take on a tired genre. The guitar plays more like a real guitar with its buttons down in the fret board rather than on top like Guitar Hero. Its whammy bar is in an easier to use place. However its not as thickly made as Guitar Hero's and the plastic doesn't seem as strong. Slight bends of the neck or body sound like its about to break. Its strum bar is more forgiving as well but many from the first shipments have broke and free replacement guitars are being shipped. The drums are the closest thing you are going to get to a real electric set at about 1/4 the price. The game will over the course of weeks teach you how to play the basics of rock drums. The microphone is a real mike is all metal construction makes it feel very good and compared to other mikes is thee best you can use with the game. It spans all rock from the 60's to today plus weekly songs to download and buy means there will always be a reason to come back and play. The game gives a great vibe and joy for all who are playing. Even if someone isn't as good at the game the other players can bring them back up to 3 times to keep the music going. So friends and family who are adversed to games will feel comfortable playing. If you can front the bill for this big ticket item its a must buy. If you can't afford it split the price with as many people until you can afford it. Regardless of what you may think, this game isn't just for guitar players. There are also vocals ("sacred microphone"), and drums ("airstriker") modes available. It is also fully possible to play with a full band and I would highly encourage it. By playing as a full band the game becomes a lot easier as the powers are different on different musicians can and do stack! I tend to do vocals and have to admit this game has one of the best vocal recognitions I have played with yet. It's better than Rock Band! However, you will end up doing the same songs over and over at first which can get tiring. The songs are also fairly obscure and "college-y", which can throw in a curve ball for some players. If you like RPGs, this game will have you covered. It's not a band game but a musical RPG! You sing and play to unite the clans and overthrow the dictator instead of using swords. There is some strategy involved which is very refreshing in a musical game. Overall this is a great game, especially for full band and vocalists. Cant even really use the Guitar it looks great at first,Then when I was playing it the batteries kept popping out it kept shutting off during play. When I opened the battery compartment and saw that they just keep popping out. I was suprised to see a Guitar Hero controller in this good of condition. Most contollers you see now a days are completely corroded on this inside, but the wires in this one are so shiny I could use it to signal planes! The only problem I had with the controller was the stickers, but who didn't put stickers on their controller when the game came out. Plus, a little goo gone and water takes them right off. I also appreciate the inclusion of a strap with the controller. I don't use the strap that often, but I like having it there if I need it. Overall I am super happy with this purchase.dj94546

The guitar was shipped two days earlier than I was expecting. The guitar feels great and its in perfect condition. It came with pre applied stickers that felt great on the frets. The good thing Was that there werent any stickers on the base of the guitar which I really like.broncofanrob23

i bought it because i wanted to play the drums for the guitar hero world tour. the bad things re that the wires can be corroded and you have to buy new ones if they touch water. Also you have to turn you tv up to the loudest it can be to cancel out you hitting the drums and cymbals. Also if you have no pedal then you have to turn on the auto kick cheat and earn no money or play without it which plays the song without the beat of the kick. And to make it even worse some drum kits are faulty but i highly doubt that they would be sold on heremy-gto
