Overall: This is my second Wylde Audio guitar, my first was a standard Odin. I love that guitar so much I couldn't wait to get hands on an Odin Grail. I have to say I was not disappointed, straight out of the box this thing was ready to play. The quality is good and it sounds great. As always Schecter put great products out for the money. That being said I do think this guitar is a bit over priced but I'm not losing any sleep over it. I'd like to see it closer to $1000 than $1200.Travis
Overall: What a awesome guitar great feel, awesome tone and sound. Once I started playing I couldn't put it down. Wylde audio kicks ass. I own a esp,and a dean as well but this is by far the best guitar I've purchased. I also got it in the satin design both guitars have different tones so I like to switch back and forth for different songs. I think the Odin grail rawtop puts out a more melodic tone. And the Odin satin black puts out a more aggressive sound. This is my personal opinion. They also have different body shapes as far as thickness. But overall awesome guitars can't wait to get me a blood wing.Gibson

Overall: The guitar body and neck are excellent, no flaws. The ebony fretboard is well done and the frets finished nicely, level and no sharp ends. The electronics are up to personal taste, I have never liked active pickups. I am putting in CTS pots, Switchcraft toggle & jack, Orange Drop caps, 42 gage wiring and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rod pickup set. I customize all of my guitars, with the exception of my Gibsons. The EMG's sounded as expected and is fine as is for those that like that sound. The only thing I would point out to perspective buyers is that the neck is fairly fat, if that is your preference, you will be happy. No rating for support because I didn't need it.Scott
I am very happy with the way this plays straight out of the box. It will need some tweaks, nothing major, however till it is very playable. Coming from Schecter guitars this is easier for larger hands, but just shy of that Schecter quality in price range. Schecter should be more involved with design details. Creature comforts such as an easy access 9volt battery and better tuners would help. This is a surprising light guitar, very comfortable sitting and standing and overall very enjoyable to play. The horn is actually quite functional for sitting as it can catch on the left thigh giving a more classical position. I'd like to see more Zakk Wylde inspired designs like this that aren't as signature as the bullseye designs.Brandon
This guitar is so well made and easy to play!! The resonance from the wood body is incredible. The was Zakk designed the neck it is super easy to play. It might be a little thick than you are used to, but it takes a very light touch and has a very fast action. The EMGs transmit a very consistent signal to the amp. What can I say about the Wylde Audio Barbarian?? Well, the obvious place to start would be the absolutely mesmerizing paint job on this thing. I got the guitar on a Tuesday. 5 days later my work sent someone over to check on me. They said I was in a trance like state, drooling over the just opened box that contained this mystical masterpiece. The satin black hardware perfectly accessorizes the ebony fret board and EMG pickups. Pure hotness. Once I managed to use the bathroom and hydrate a little, I took the guitar out of the shipping box. Wow! This thing was built to destroy! The neck is as fat as any neck I have ever played. That alone will turn some folks off. I have never much cared for a baseball bat neck and was initially a little put off. After I strummed a few chords and played Happy Birthday to my cat, I quickly realized it was actually very, very comfortable. Heavy duty and well made in every aspect. This thing CRUSHES! Buy one, or two if you are a survivalist.
I absolutely love this axe! I expected an overly hefty guitar and am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the heft is. The headstock dives but the neck feels great. Having previously purchased a lemon drop second hand I was impressed with the vintage brand. I've previously owned custom shop guitars by Fender and Gibson so have perspective on how "good ones" should sound. The v6 was ordered from Richard as I enjoyed his YouTube videos and liked the thought of the guitar being essentially hand picked and set up prior to delivery. Richards pricing is not the cheapest but it does ensure that the guitar you receive plays as well as it possibly can. The guitar itself arrived in tune, set up to my specifications with a blocked trem and 10 gauge strings. The finish was flawless and the fact vintage spec the correct woods for these guitars (alder and maple) really sold me. It has a full size tremblock, bent steel saddles and sounds like a good strat should. The Wilkinson pickups in the lemon drop where excellent paf approximations and the single coils are no exception. Plus the bridge is wired to the second tone pot which is something I always do as I tend to roll off the treble when soloing. The guitar is also very light and can be played comfortably for hours. Packing was top notch. Double boxed. Comms excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend purchasing from Richard again. In fact I have Gas for a Eastman Les Paul in 2020😊Matt S.
If you've ever put a guitar together from after market parts, even 2nd hand, its doesn't take long to rack up an expense. For Richard to offer this guitar for £287 with a full setup is quite extraordinarily extraordinary. The QC on this one is exceptional from Vintage and despite thorough inspection I cannot find any flaws at all. It is a very lightweight guitar, slightly neck heavy, so I'd recommend purchasing a good quality leather strap to prevent slippage. The highlight of the VS6 would be the neck which is a wide C profile and very enjoyable to play. The setup from Richard again is exceptional and you really have to applaud the effort invested making these very affordable guitars so playable. On that note, I would also recommend that these are perfect guitars to learn some basic setup skills on; though very well setup I have made small adjustments as can be expected as you break a guitar in. All in all, a great value guitar which Richard and his team have helped punch well above its weight.Jordan T.

I've originally bought the ML3 in hot blue and it was cool looking guitar however there were some manufactured issues with the electronics and wires being damaged (melted to be precise) so i contacted the Andertons who reposed straight away and was happy to swap it for me straight away and i even choose a different colour (maybe blue was unlucky) so within few days i have received replacement and was very pleased that all electronics were in order and there was no damage to pots or wires. So all in all customer service is excellent as always and guitar is awesome. Yes the stock pots are not the best buy but hey those are cheap to replace with decent cts pots and worth considering changing the cap as well as re do all ground wires and you have one amazing instrument. This guitar is amazing! The weight is perfect (7.37 lbs for mine). Fit and finish is great with no visible blemishes. The pickups sound great. The tuners are stable. Frets are finished perfectly, and the neck is very comfortable. It appears that Chapman has applied years of lessons learned to perfect instrument manufacturing at this price point. The quality of this guitar is above my skill level so I can't comment on the technical side of things. But I absolutely love the finish – it's darker than in the images on the Andertons site (which I prefer) and more closely matches the darkness of the fretboad. The roasted maple neck has some girth at the neck but is narrower than the standard series with a nice satin finish which is a pleasure to stroke and fondle! A detail I really like is that the colour of the neck closely matches the rim of the body which doesn't happen on the flamed maple necks of the standard line (I borrowed a friends before purchasing). The pickups sound great, but also it has quite a nice acoustic sound when not plugged into an amp – which is how I do a lot of my noodling.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

What can I say about the Wylde Audio Barbarian?? Well, the obvious place to start would be the absolutely mesmerizing paint job on this thing. I got the guitar on a Tuesday. 5 days later my work sent someone over to check on me. They said I was in a trance like state, drooling over the just opened box that contained this mystical masterpiece. The satin black hardware perfectly accessorizes the ebony fret board and EMG pickups. Pure hotness. Once I managed to use the bathroom and hydrate a little, I took the guitar out of the shipping box. Wow! This thing was built to destroy! The neck is as fat as any neck I have ever played. That alone will turn some folks off. I have never much cared for a baseball bat neck and was initially a little put off. After I strummed a few chords and played Happy Birthday to my cat, I quickly realized it was actually very, very comfortable. Heavy duty and well made in every aspect. This thing CRUSHES! Buy one, or two if you are a survivalist.
I absolutely love this axe! I expected an overly hefty guitar and am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the heft is. The headstock dives but the neck feels great. Sounds and plays like a dream, I’ve wanted a Snakeskin guitar forever, love the Graphic, It’s light and sustains forever, at first I kind of freaked because the tremolo wasn’t recessed all my Jackson are, I have the USA Jackson PC1, Dinky DK2s, Jackson RR3, well I’ve owned a bunch, my 87 Charvel doesn’t have a recessed Floyd and the USA Charvel Warren Demartini isn’t recessed, but I never raise the whammy bar anyway. Just for vibrato and Dives. And it stays right in tune.
This guitar reminds me of the original Charvels . Probably not as good as the USA made version. But very very close. Fast neck excellent fret work. Very nicely done paint job. Bridge pickup is aggressive had to back the gain down a bit. Neck quarter pounder is just perfect in this guitar. Floyd works great stays in tune and intonation is spot on. Excellent choice if you are looking for a more traditional Charvel. P.s. nails the brown sound ??Sw
Excellent guitar. The stainless steel frets and the smooth, well-crafted unfinished maple neck are terrific. Feels great. The guitar has a very distinct, articulate tone. The neck pick-up has a big, punchy Strat effect and the bridge pick-up is searing hot. Together, they are very well-balanced for a growling, rock rhythm or lead tone. Needless to say, the guitar is perfect for rock and 80's hair metal! I got the snow white model and it looks amazing. Love the graphics. This one is a keeper.Jim

I'm lucky enough to own quite a few guitars. (Les Paul, ES339, a newer deluxe Strat and Tele, vintage SG and Custom LP and more all USA built) This EVH is the best Guitar I've ever played. I like it so much I bought a Striped Mexican made EVH to Jam with so i don't wear this one out. Everything on the Wolfgang USA is as you'd want it (ok, except for the silly headstock shape). It never goes out of tune no matter how much you're dive bombing the Floyd. The neck is the smoothest and fastest neck I've touched. The electronics are bullet proof and just SOLID, you can mash everything, the kill switch is awesome, it looks and feels sturdy. Even the dog collar strap things work surprisingly well. Just a very wonderfully engineered guitar.thatkatmat

This guitar is amazing. A nice upgrade on the previous USA Wolfgangs. I think the new Alnico pickup really brings a noticeable tonal improvement, and the addition of the kill switch is just too cool. My guitar arrived with a perfect setup. Low action, smooth neck, tremolo set just right. Love the ebony fretboard and SS frets. Sounds great clean, but it really shines when you crank up the gain and volume. Crazy harmonics and very articulate. I'm playing through an EVH 15 W lunchbox head and 1 x 12 EVH cab. Hi, due to changing my equipment, i'm selling this used wylde audio. it's a bit rubbed but in perfect shape. it has it's original emg81-85 pickups. it has no case, but i give away three sets of strings with it. (two 10-60,one 11-70 zakk wylde singature strings) it also has 10-60 strings on, but they are a bit old. shipping cost is depending on the country. write to me and i'll edit if necessary.

Perhaps my initial review was a little over the top … But this Tele clone is as good as they say in the various YouTube videos … Appearance, feel, and execution are all top notch. Tones … well its a typical standard Telecaster, that I'm sure one would have to spend 4X as much, to realize a guitar that is this good. The rolled fretboard, only appears on a major brands $1 Kilobuck model. The advantage in "roasting " Aside from great feel and appearance … Is Stability. Resistance to environmental influenced things like contraction of the fretboard in dry climates, which may trigger fret sprout … This has to be the best value in Teles …considering performance, feel, appearance and of course … price. Buy this "bargain" guitar, and get a guitar that has all the usual "upgrades" as standard equipment. And yes… the pickups are great standard Tele. I'm glad , even after waiting almost8 months … I took delivery of this beauty.
