Reviews:
I really liked this little guitar, BUT…I read the reviews and decided to buy in-store so I could play the guitar before buying, and I'm SO glad I did. I went into my local Guitar Center and played THREE of these Martin LX1E guitars, including one that had been specially unboxed so I could try it after two others failed my examination. All three guitars had a very pronounced buzz in the frets. It was not that noticeable when I played them acoustically, but the buzz was very noticeable when I plugged them in to an amp. I even tested the amp with other guitars, to make sure it wasn't the amp. It wasn't. Its a great little guitar, great tone and very playable, BUT my advice would be not to buy this one on-line. Play it first. Play up and down the whole fretboard, and plug it into an amplifier and play again. I have been playing for more than fifty years and have never experienced playing three brand new Martins that were simply not up to snuff. Weird!Tele Playr
The guitar itself can have five stars. Nothing wrong with it. The problem I have is that it is not the old LX1E lefty that Martin used to make and I used to own. It is advertised incorrectly here as containing the Fishman I-sys electronics that contained a volume, base/treble controls and a phasing button for feedback. It also no longer contains the tuner. This is basically the LX1 Little Martin with a Sonitone pickup under the bridge and tone/volume control in the sound hole, which I despise. I prefer the old version where the tuner and controls were on top side (as shown in the picture variety). This needs to be updated!!! I now have no tuner on this guitar when I fully expected one. I would recommend the Little Martin guitar but it needs to be advertised correctly.Jules
I bought this guitar for my son so he can have a smaller guitar to lug around in school. We were surprised when we received the product that the pickup that was installed is a Sonitone pickup instead of what's advertised – an Isys T preamp. The Isys preamp has a tuner, phase and tone control whereas the Sonitone is built into the sound hole and only has the volume and tone control. I brought this up with customer support saying I only wanted the product that I thought we were buying. I received excuses and a repeated offer to return the guitar. We chose to keep it because we need it and like the Martin sound. However MF does not stand up to what they advertise and could not provide a reasonable explanation why the product was switched. Even as I write this review, the description still says it has the Isys pickup. Good luck to future buyers and know that you are buying a different product.Pasigenyo

Reviews:
I use this product at small venue gigs and playing 3 Masses each week. There are too many great things to mention here, BUT, I will try. Washburn makes a great satin finish on the neck of their guitars. This is great on hot and sweaty days. This guitar boasts a satin finish on the whole guitar which allows your right hand to stay less slippery as well. The pickup on the inside of the sound hole is just the best. This picks the sound up from the inside of the guitar instead of the usual bridge style pickup that picks up the string vibrations. Much warmer sound. Solid Sitka Spruce top and solid mahogany back are a perfect compliment to each other. It sounded great out of the box, but sounds richer every time i play it. Put some good playing hours on this baby and it will sing for you. There is cathedral bracing inside the guitar that allows sound to flow and swirl around in there and is unobstructed by sharp edges on normal bracing. Lets not forget that this is part of the comfort series and has a smooth edge where your arm hangs over to pluck the strings. This is helpful more than you think it would be.Must be played to appreciate. Moreover, this guitar is a pleasure to play. I loved my other Washburn gig rat that i have played for years and still pick it up a couple of times a week out of guilt (it knows I love my to guitar better). Don't think about this…..JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN TODAY!! You will be happy you did. KeeganKeegan
Am strictly a fingerstyle player so can't really speak to the pros and cons of this guitar for flat picking. It has a really nice clear tone and sustain, I use it primarily for playing stuff in open G and DADGAD tunings. It has a 1 3/4 nut which is good for fingerstyle and a relatively thick neck which I also like. Of course, depending on the player, both of these things might not be to your liking. But overall, a very nice guitar at a very attractive price point. Oh, and the electronics are excellent.Greg

Reviews:
A lot of value, especially at the discounted sale price. Handsome design. But… Where is the quality control? Sharp fret ends, action set waayyy to low. major fret buzzing. several of the tuners were sticking. Rough edges on wooden bridge, strings are "rough" and lifeless. Pre-amp works well, but the tuner is inconsistent. Fretboard wood was really dry… did they store it dry storage? If you are willing to invest some time and effort like I did, filing the fret ends, raising the bridge, conditioning the wood, etc. it can serve as a first beginner guitar or a beater that I wanted. I'm no expert, but one can't expect a novice to take care of these issues. Getting a luthier to fix things properly, and you've doubled the price of the guitar. I've been spoiled. My other 4 guitars are medium to entry-level Yamahas, and none had these type of issues. BTW. the finish is not black, it is a charcoal grey and is distinctive. The neck is easy to play, but the sound and resonance is typical for a thin-bodied guitar. But, with a built-in tuner pre-amp, it's a decent value.Lawrence
Sounds good so far. First impressions: the "metallic black" is more metallic than black. It's really more of a shimmery dark grey than black; the pick guard which IS basically black contrasts more than product images suggest. Frets are a bit sharp at the ends, but otherwise, no major complaints.Jeff
The electronics didn't work well at all. I was able to sporadically interface with my Tonewood Amp, but it was hit-or-miss. I know it wasn't my TWA or cable that was the problem. I liked the sound of this guitar, and it was comfortable for my frame. The action was perfect for me out of the box…about as low as you can get without fret buzzing. However, all of the fret ends we're sticking out and would have needed filing. The fretboard and bridge wood seemed soft and rough. I suspect neither would wear well. There was a spot near the sound hole where it looked like glue had been smeared when the pick guard was placed on. That would not rub off. Gooey streaks elsewhere did clean off. There were some ripples in the finish around the sound hole. The color was more grey/gunmetal than black, and spray marks were visible in the paint. I got this guitar on sale at 40% off: $127.19, delivered. For that price I probably would have kept it had the electronics worked properly. I returned it.Regina

Reviews:
I purchased this grade 3 scratch and, dent. I have purchased a few items this way and, a lot of dinero can be saved. It is just like a new guitar, there was a ding on the edge of the large bout, some of the finish had been broken and, a little bit of wood was gone but, not broken through. Fairly easy repair with some super glue, careful work on the spot, a little scraping of the glue after a few build up coats, some sanding with a very fine grit, polishing and, some buffing yeilded positive results. Well worth the small effort. Great playing and, sounding guitar. The Fishman electronics perform beautifully! Acousticly the Dred body puts out a lush full sound. I have a Breedlove concert with the same electronics, the sound is full, powerful and, comes through my Fishman Artist accurately and, full, no quacky piezo sound. I paid a lot more for my Breedlove but, this Mitchell is right there with it. Both excellent guitars. The main reason I purchased this Mitchell is because I was wanting a decent guitar as a backup that would not break the bank and, have all the goodies I was looking for and, this was it. I won't say what I paid but, it was a great deal and, with a little fixin I have a Great guitar! I would walk out on any stage and, perform with this instrument without any concerns. I will admit the Fishman electronics were a big selling point. I once owned a Taylor and, it was a beautiful guitar but, the electronics were sad. It went back to the store asap, it would not worked for me in a performance. Sorry Taylor. I would recommend this guitar to anyone, it's a tremendous buy and, a really nice guitar. For what it's worth I've been a musician for over 50yrs and, I know when something is good or not, it's just plain experience. I just plain refuse to dump a bunch of money on a brand name.. it's the musician not the instrument that makes the difference.terrygh
I was looking for an inexpensive Acoustic Electric guitar with some quality. Wanting my cake and ear it to, well that's what I got! This guitar is really nice with excellent features that usually are not found in this pricerange. I purchased this as a scratch and dent, I have no problem with this because the instruments in this range are usually pretty decent with little or hardly any problems. This one had a small dent on the front large bout, a little super glue fill to level out the ding and, was good to go. It turned out to be a great deal with an easy fix and, ended up with an excellent guitar.terrygh
After spending hours and testing countless guitars nothing sounded better in this price range. The spruce top mahogany design produces the purest of sounds that rivals some of the more expensive guitars of similar design. Mitchell has done an outstanding job in beating out the competition in this price range hands-down! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for that pure mahogany rich sound at a very affordable price.Robert

Reviews:
This is advertised as a florintine in write-up and pictures. The one the shipped me was not a floritine but a rounded cut away. Not sure if this was a production change or what. In spite of quality issues, the sound is beautiful. It has a smaller body than I expected but it still projects nicely. I like the neck feel and the small body make it comfortable to play. If the quality was as good as my last Washburn I would give it a 10. I really like the guitar, but quality is way less than expected based on other Washburn product I have seen. Nice having the tuner built in. I like sliders for controls better than small knobs. Disappointed. Bought for my son. I would return it but he played it and says he wants to keep it. The pictures and writ-up say it is a Florintine cut away. It is not. Nice flame maple top. Resonable fret work. Varnish has some runs and imperfections. Sand marks in neck under the varnish, does not effect play or feel. Also some glue left at some joints and binding less than perfect. Not as well built as my 11 year old Washburn D10CEB was. Hard to beat the price but quality is not what I expected from Washburn.srk
Overall this guitar is fantastic! Perfect beginner sized guitar that I will enjoy for years to come! First and formost I would like to state that this guitar is exactly like shown in the picture above. As you can see in the above picture the body comes to a curved edge by the cutaway not a sharp one making it a venetian body style not a florenine like stated in the discription! Other then that, the onboard tuner is really cool with its LCD screen and tuning nobs (not sliders)! The light D'Addario strings sit close to the fret board making this a very easy to play guitar! All wood work is incredible and looks beautiful!! Only thing I see that could possibly be wrong is the white binding on the neck has some hairline cracks right under the fret bars but every guitar I have played has these! Outside of that, the quality of this guitar is awesome! There are no runs, left over glue, scratches or anything! The flame top looks amazing and is absolutely flawless! Very deep shine and the internals look pristine! Very, very good quality as you should expect from a Washburn guitar! Tough to beat the value of this guitar with the quality and beauty of this instrument!

I got this guitar as a birthday present same Model just a darker color. I bought it in store. I went to GC wanting to buy/look at electric guitars after trying a couple I went to the acustic section and this was the first one I saw I tried it just bc I liked how it looked and I loved it. The sounds is very nice and crisp much better than my current squier guitar. I only started playing guitar this year am not super good at it but I think this guitar makes my playing sound even better! When I got home I also hooked it up to my amp and the sound is still amazing with the proper amp settings of course…Dan
After trying out a few guitars, including a lovely 3/4 size Luna, I'm glad I finally decided on the Mitchell Terra Series Acoustic/Electric. Not only is this a beautiful-looking guitar, it feels right (auditorium size) and is music to my ears. I'm a beginner, but will not need to upgrade to a more expensive guitar as I progress, as some do after starting with a less expensive guitar. You get a perfect sounding guitar, plugged in or not. And fortunately, the high-quality strings do not need replacing. This guitar will remain in the family for years to come.JoJo S.
The awfulness of this guitar surprised me no end since my brother has a same guitar in mahogany and it's pretty nice. I'm a novice guitar player, but a very experienced guitar listener and this thing sounded like an oatmeal box (meaning no offense to Quaker Oats). There were cracks in the neck. There were gouges from poor manufacture (they were made before the guitar was finished) in the neck and body. There was goop around the sound hole and by the nut. Quality control is pretty clearly lacking. Musicians Friend was great though. A quick phone call and they sent a mailing label and it was over.AllThumbs

Reviews:
I play locally for hire as a solo acoustic guitar / vocalist. My primary guitar is a Martin GPCP Aura. I purchased the Martin SC 13E in hopes of finding a guitar with better action and playability. My first reaction to the 13E was really nice and it did play with less effort / strength than my GPCP. The first issue I noticed was string buzz on the 1st and 2nd strings. It wasn't awful but noticeable. I played the guitar that weekend at two shows. I was still noticing the buzz. So, I started the set-up investigation. The neck relief, the slight bow forward that a guitar neck needs, looked really good, maybe could use a bit more to help with the string buzz. This is an easy truss rod adjustment; however, I didn't change the truss rod setting. The next thing I looked at was the distance of the string height, above the 12th fret. My thought was I would try to lower this slightly if I decided to keep the guitar. The next weekend I got the guitar out at home before getting ready for my show that evening, to run through a new song I was planning to do at hat nights show. I took the SC13E out of the bag and the 1st and 2nd strings were touching the guitar at the 20th fret. I thought the saddle had somehow pushed down lower into the bridge…. I exchanged that guitar for another SC1E. GC person was easy to work with and got the exchange handled quickly. About 3-4 days I had my second SC13E in my hands. It also had the same string buzz, even though the neck relief and action looked good. I played a couple of shows with this guitar and then I started noticing the buzz getting worse. If you are still reading, the reward is at hand. lol I have decided that the problem with this guitar, and probably the other guitar, is the neck angle is off. I will explain why I think it is off and explain how you can check your guitar. I have watched hundreds of youtube videos trying to learn how to set-up and care for my instruments. I have watched neck adjustment videos put out by fender, for their strat guitars, because I wanted to know how to adjust my Acoustasonic Strat. But what I am getting ready to sell you, I have discovered on my own and may not be accurate, but here it goes. If I put a capo, or hold the strings down with my hand. on the 12th fret, there is a space between the strings and the frets above the 12th fret. A pretty wide gap at the 20th fret. On the SC13E the strings are almost touching and the 1st string is touching. Wa La I believe that neck angle is off. I think it was off on both guitars. So check yours before missing your return date. If you check your guitar and it has this problem, don't totally freak out. The SC13E has an adjustable neck angle, so it can be made perfect. If you find what I described above, I suggest contacting Martin Guitar and GC. Another thing to be aware of, the three Martin guitars I have owned had the nut groves cut too narrow. I took my GPCP to an excellent luthier. He filed the width and depth to correct specifications and filed down my frets (I had two that where high) Both of the SC13E guitars needed to have the nuts filed. If you are trying to tune your guitar by making a very slight turn to get it just right and the string doesn't increase pitch and then jumps to a sharp pitch, the string is probably pinching in the nut grove. Both SC13E's were boogers to tune for that reason. One of them broke the B string while tuning up from dropping the pitch. I am returning my second SC13E tomorrow and I think I am going to give it a rest for awhile. Maybe look for something different. FYI: I love my Martin GPCP Aura, unfortunately they discontinued that model. The sound I get from the Fishman Aura electronics is the best I have heard. PS: part of the reason the SC13E plays easier is they use a lighter gauge string. I put a set of the MA535T Martin Lifespan strings on mt GPCP and even with the truss rod loose, the strings don't pull on the neck hard enough to give me the neck relief that is needed. The SC13E is a beautiful guitar to look at and the electronics onboard sound very nice. I learned, I'm not a big fan of having the controls inside the sound hole. A little awkward to get to while strumming and the phase reverse switch is way back from the opening. If you like using the hole covers to fight feedback, I'm pretty sure you would be out of luck. I think this price range of acoustic guitar should come with a hard case. I gave this guitar a 2 rating because it has potential BUT i do think both of these guitars suffered from poor quality control. My luthier could have made both of these guitars sing beautifully but I refuse to buy a new guitar and send it for repairs, even if the repairs are set-up issues. A new guitar on the north side of a thousand dollars should show up playing without string buzzing and the strings close enough to the neck that you hand doesn't feel like you just hung from the monkey bars during an entire recess.Dale
I ordered this guitar from AMS on a Friday evening and it was delivered the following Wednesday, so kudos to AMS for prompt service. Trust me when I tell you that the guitar looks even more stunning in person than it does in the website images. The grain on the koa back and side veneers is distinctive and eye-catching. The pearloid rosette and fingerboard inlays are also well done. I purchased a set of bridge pins from Martin's website that uses the same pearloid, and they look nice. The neck profile is quite comfortable, and of course the unique heel-less design of the cutaway gives you easy access to the entire fingerboard. I expect to see this feature turning up on other Martin models down the road. The asymmetrical body shape is visually unique and phenomenally comfortable to play sitting down, which is mostly how I play. The sound hole tuner is a nice touch, and the Fishman MX-T electronics sound fine to me, although I mostly don't play plugged in. This is my first Martin guitar, and it is true what they say: Nothing else sounds like a Martin! Martin has really done themselves proud with the SC-13E. Highly recommended!
This is a beautiful instrument with a stunning full acoustic sound despite the deep cut away and relatively small body size. The amazing design allows for unlimited access to the upper frets and the whole instrument feels very comfortable to play. I wanted an acoustic guitar with the accessibility of an electric and this new design from C.F.Martin delivers that in droves without ever loosing it's acoustic personality and sound. I own a super jumbo acoustic made by another company but the SC13e makes it sound dull and lifeless even before it is plugged in. The SC13e has that familiar Martin sound which is full and beautiful. The fishman pickup will then allow that sound to be delivered to anywhere from a gig in a noisy pub to full stadium if required. What a stunning instrument!Reviewed by Kenny's Music custom

I purchased this as my first guitar and have taught myself to play with some help from the complimentary lessons that I received as an extra gift with purchase. I'm not that great yet but I love this instrument and I feel that my love for the sound and the way it feels has had a major impact on how quickly I've picked up on playing. I love the way it sounds! I love the way it feels when I hold it! I know I will move on as my playing becomes better but I'll never give up this guitar! And I am so happy I chose to purchase this with the easy payment plan and affordable payment, I never felt any guilt towards the purchase which made it easier for me to spend time with it, practicing and eventually playing! Thank you for such an amazing, easy, guilt-free experience.Heather
Purchased guitar at local Sam Ash but didn't have in stock because it's left handed. They sent it from Fla. location directly to my house in three days as promised. Open gig bag to find a display model guitar with badly scratched pick guard . A blind man could before putting in gig bag. Disappointed they would send demo model after paying full price and requesting new only. Rest of guitar seemed in fine shape . I recommend if you buy have shipped to (SA) to inspect it before you take possession.RJ

This guitar was affordable. I shaved off 2mm from the bridge to make it closer to the height I'm used to. It plays easy, it sounds good and it looks great. My Alvarez sounds better only because it is bigger. This is one solid guitar. I will have another one. I replaced the strings with slinky strings(pink pack) I'm loving it now!!david-hilton-photography
I admit I was a little hesitant to purchase online without having the ability to play it first. I have extremely small hands an this fits like a glove. In all honest it has taken be a bit to write this because I was having to much fun with my guitar. The service was fast and efficient. I plan on purchasing more items from this individuals. Thank you for this wonderful piece of craftsmanship. Sincerely, Mama bearmycar_18

Reviews:
This was an "upgrade" from a slightly more expensive Yamaha concert body guitar, which was totally fine, but I feel like I just went from playing with a casual acquaintance to falling madly in love. There really is something about the Martin sound – crisp, clear, resonant, responsive, with an absolutely gorgeous sparkle in every note. It responds with subtlety and nuance to fingerpicking, and also sounds great with a pick, with slight differences in attack and tone from thicker to thinner and different pick materials. The 24.9 scale and slightly smaller body size is super comfortable and easy to play, and the acoustic output is perfect for singer/songwriter accompaniment. I haven't plugged it in yet, but I'm sure it'll play nicely with amplification when needed. Big thanks to Dana at the NYC store for hooking me up with this beauty!Mark
I had my guitar stolen last summer and I got this for a gift from my brother. I was super excited. It is the perfect size, plays really well and I'm loving brushing up on my skills. I would highly recommend this guitar. Sam Ash provided excellent service and deliver arrangement. I would strongly recommend it!Rachel

A ty co hrály opravdu dobře, byly v cenové kategorii 20.000 Kč a výš.

This is an ideal purchase for anyone who focuses on fingerpicking, especially folk stuff like Simon & Garfunkel or Iron & Wine or whatever. The intonation is great and the sound you get from it is lovely. Anyone who isn't used to high action may struggle with this guitar at first though and I would recommend lower gauge strings to help your fingers if they get painful. Overall its exactly what I was looking for.Gregory C.

Reviews:
After allowing the guitar few weeks to adjust and giving it a good set up including new strings and a neck adjustment (tightening the rod), Conditioning the fret board and a good polish, The guitar is easy to play and has great sound for an inexpensive guitar. I like the So Cal green color others may not as it is a vintage vibe. Tuners are price point but even price point tuners these days are decent. A little sticking from the nut, I think I can lightly file that out and add some nut sauce. The fret ends were not too sharp but I conditioned them to a nice smooth finish useing 500 grit sponge. Very little cost to make improvements and the guitar is fun to play. The sustain is probably the biggest suprise and I am satified to practice with this guitar every day. Very pleased for the cost. Good value.Bruce P.
Guitar is ok for the price; however, I was expecting the strings to last longer than 2 days before breaking. Even the extra ones that came with the bundle broke as I was putting them on. I had to buy better ones and had a professional put them on to make sure they were adjusted correctly. Additionally, the small tuner's battery was dead out of the box so I had to get a new one. Again, I guess you get what you get for the price. On a positive note, the guitar looks nice, the small amps is super convenient, and everything arrived fast and together in one box.Luis L.
The guitar did not have the black scratch panel that is shown in the Sunburst guitar. Also, when my son opened the gift guitar, the black bag was covered in a white mold/mildew. It was delivered one week before his birthday and kept in a dry room, and opened for the first time on his birthday. The guitar seems ok, I will know more when someone with some guitar knowledge checks it out for me. It may be going back to the store. The pictures show exactly what the bag looked like minutes after the gift was opened. Looks rough, 2 stars are for the fact that the guitar was not moldy.Kacee
18. Washburn Festival Series Acoustic-Electric Guitar Tobacco Burst

Product Details:
Washburn designed the festival series to address the needs of the performing musician and it has succeeded for over 25 years. the festival series was the standard acoustic/electric guitar seen on mtv's unplugged series and has since become one of the best selling and most copied guitars on the market. a comfortable body teamed up with quality barcus-berry electronics, hardware, and fine woods allows the pristine, crystalline highs to blend perfectly with a full, well rounded low end. the ea15's mini jumbo body is easier to play for those that find the larger dreadnought and grand auditorium shapes uncomfortable. the ea15 mj is suited for smaller players, young learners, or musicians looking for the more focused and intimate voice that a small bodied guitar provides. built with a cutaway so that access to the upper frets is a breeze. plug-in ready and pre-equipped with a pre-amp and pickup loaded with features such as an onboard tuner, eq controls and feedback resistance, all from barcus berry, the developer of the first ever piezo crystal transducer for musical instruments in 1963. a tobacco burst gloss finish is applied to this festival ea15 to create an instant classic. the coffee colored fade from dark to light really brings out the character of the wood in its figured maple top.

Reviews:
I’m a 54 yr old,pro player & guitar instructor, I’m always interested in budget guitars to suggest to students. I’ve found some feel cheap,or play horribly. This brand is quite the opposite, it has a solid feel, low action, rich bass and sparkling tone. I know those terms are tossed around a lot, listen to the demos on YT, this guitar sparkles like a nice acoustic should. The finish feels wonderful,it came with everything,a tuner, strap, extra strings, and a gig bag. The kit even came with a battery and a wrench to adjust the height of the action. The wrench works well, Ashthorpe has videos showing how to use it, The ELECTRONICS are what makes this instrument much better than the other budget acoustics on Amazon, It has a strong, rich equalizer onboard,u can do or subtract treble, or bass..or midrange..or the super high frequency string noises can be lowered or raised w the presence control. It has a volume control and a battery tester with LED right onboard. This electronics and preamp package is what you’d expect on guitars $300 or higher..It’s not Fishman or a famous brand, but it may as well be, it feels the same. I’ve owned over a hundred guitars, probably closer to 200 and I’ve never seen an acoustic electric with this kind of tone, feel and quality electronics in this price range..ever, if this guitar had no electronics, and was not electric-acoustic at all..it would still sell like crazy at this price. It’s almost hard to believe you get SO much for your hundred bucks. I have had acoustics where the case alone cost more than this guitar. Buy this model if you are considering a few different ones.. the thinline Ashthorpe makes is a smaller body, good for small hands, petite ladies or teens.. but the full size dreadnaught has the rich, thick bass u can feel in your body. The tone is better than the thinline, but a dread body can be big for some smaller people. The thinline was small and comfy, little more sparkly and less bass, but this model has the tone. And the way they laser etched the logo on the navy blue headstock is classy,it gives the whole guitar the expensive, modern vibe I go through guitars fast, I buy, sell, trade.and give some away to students…and I only wind up w the ones I LOVE. And I still have my Ashthorpe Dreadnaught Blue burst,it was a gift from my parents,.and has special meaning to me, Just buy this one, thank me later! forget the budget brands u see on Amazon..Ashthorpe users all leave great reviews, and for good reason.. the customer service is top notch too, a nice lady named Jennifer took great care of me when I had inquiries, and replied to my emails the same day, super quickly.Kevin G.(.I.
I’ve been a guitar instructor over 30 years, I’m a pro player with album credits on Warner, Gergen and more.. I’m 54 and playing since I’m 12 I own two Ashthorpe acoustics, this one in a dark butterscotch finish, and a full size dread in blue burst, The thinline has that tone like one of the smaller bodied guitars..bright,sparkly and up front. The body is not as thick as a big acoustic like my dreadnaught, but it is a full scale length adults acoustic.. they just made the body thinner for smaller folks to feel more comfy, The electronic package is superb, get it for that alone, you can plug in delays and effects, phase shifter and compressors, reverbs.. use the PA system or a small amp and play coffee house gigs, without the trouble of putting another Micah the guitar. The EQD section and the onboard controls are well made, useful and the eq points are musical and just right. It’s amazing how intuitive these designers were, they got just about everything right… the feel, the neck, the tone, the electronics..the finish.. it came with a strong gig bag ,not padded but rainproof and strong, like the nylon Tents and backpacks are made from..also a good electric tuner that works nicely,a cable, picks, a strap, extra strings..everything good quality and usable for a pro..maybe investing in a set of more expensive strings will help, the sets they provided sounded ok.but I’m guessing some high end strings would improve sound too,(Martin,Diaddario,Ernie Ball..etc) If u want something light and comfy, yet adult scale length with a pro feel and gorgeous woodwork, they’re out there.. but in this price range? There’s nothing available with the electronics package like this.. It’s so much fun playing with effects through an amp, this company is really awesome, they have instructional videos on YouTube and the customer service was polite, efficient and very pleasant.Kevin G.(.I.
