Vintage rocker from 1970's japan! if you like playing–you know how fun this vintage of japanese made guitars are. great looks, rockin' electronics and unique switches. teisco was the first electric guitars in many homes–where many of us cut our teeth and felt the pull of notes crunching through an amp. beautiful sunburst finish complimented with a uniquely etched design pick guard. super great looking pickups, a roller bridge (right on!) + a whammy bar to boot! this axe screams! you will absolutely love playing it.

Of all the 60s mij stuff like this i've played, this is easily the most comfortable. low action all the way up the fretboard. frets have very little wear. there are a few dings, mainly on the headstock. i can't tell if someone touched up the black paint on the lower bout at some point, or if it's just worn. that area doesn't have the same gloss. the v/t/t knobs work fine but are a bit sticky. the only real issue is that with the selector switches in the 'up' position, the sound is cutting out. so the guitar is usable as-is, but the electronics could use a once-over. ships to lower 48. no case. no trades.

Teisco yg-6 in overall very nice condition with a few chips around the edges and small dings. it plays really well for an old teisco (some buzzes if you strum very hard, but the action is set low with some old flatwound strings.) the only non-original parts are the strap buttons, i think. looks nice in a bizarre guitars 1960's style, though there are some splotchy marks on the aluminum pickguard and headstock overlay. no case, but i will ship it with a basic gig bag, and with the neck unscrewed to keep it more safe in transit.

Very good survivor here. it had been somewhat 'revived' before i got it. they autographed it, but alas, i don't know? maybe they were testing their pen? so when i plugged it in it was very unhappy. crackling and cackling, bad. i took off the pickguard and cleaned everything and put it all back tight with new strings. the pickups are really nice, very raw but they dial back and clean up well. the switches are on/off for the respective pickup. the pots do what they're supposed to do now and i think all of its electrical parts are original. i see i replaced the bridge screws, they're stainless. the high e side action is almost all the way down, low side is above that a little. it plays surprisingly well with halfway reasonable action. it tunes well and is super light at 5.3lbs. if you wanted to spend a little time i'm pretty sure this could be dialed right in. level and polish the frets, or replace them, though there is no appreciable wear. the neck is plywood. love that stuff, i reme…

Awesome vibey vintage japanese guitar, did a lot of research but can't really find any definitive brand or model. someone mentioned the brand zenta best guess it's a teisco/ burns mosrite inspired copy of some sort. sounds and plays really cool really has a nice honkey vintage tone to it. previouse owner change the not that great trem to a stop tail somewhere in the 1970s. when i got it i ugraded the old and worn out tuners with some kluson style tuners with some pearl buttons added to it. cool german carve all around the body and just an awesome color in the sunburst.will be shipped safe and professionally in a double box. if you have any questions just shoot me a message. i m open to offers so give it a shot
