Taylor Acoustic Guitar Amp For Sale (2024 Update)

I use it with my Yamaha parlor 14-fret and Ibanez OO slotted-headstock 12-fret acoustic-electric guitars. With both, the sounds are rich and full. I don't need to fill a large room, just my living room. Even so, the volume knob doesn't even need to go past 9 o'clock for me to get powerful and distortion-free sounds.Boon

This was a surprise. I was sure this would sound decent but I was pleasantly surprised at the control & versatility. With a Stratacoustic, very clean & crisp, nice body. I tried all the normal dang Shure's everyone uses but this was great with a Blue Encore 100. Decided to try my daughters Roland Aerophone, very good tone overall. This would work for a little gig or practice of course, but for recording it would work well & of course you can mic this in a larger club/venue. Overall a fun, quality & versatile little amp. I was a little hesitant on buying this amp because of the size, but I decided to take a shot at it. I was very surprised at the power this thing puts out. I use it on my Fender Malibu acoustic electric and also on my Alesis Nitro Mesh Drumkit. It packs plenty of power for both. Highly satisfied with the amplifier. This amp has a wide range of settings to dial in whatever sound you need for various types of guitars and pickups. I was a little disappointed in the volume limitation when plugging in my acoustics with passive pickups- they just didn't have any punch even with the dial turned up, but that was corrected somewhat with an XLR>RCA converter jack to boost the signal. Also the pre-amp in the effects box I have does the same thing. It produced great tone and presence on an electric 12 string, classical, and irish bouzouki which all have active pickups. What really impressed me was how it handles vocal and instrument together. No feedback and plenty of headroom. I'm glad I settled on this model to meet my needs rather than some of the others out there of the same capabilities. The looper is another fun feature that allows you to lay some percussive rhythm down to play along to, or a chord progression to build upon. Another plus is its small footprint and light weight for portability. I plan to be using it in small rooms where it fills the space without being over bearing. I am very pleased with this amplifier. It is very small, (like a large lunchbox) and light. 8 AA batteries can power this or you can use the included ac/dc inverter. After playing with the mic input and plugging my Taylor; its obvious that this is the easiest to use and best sounding acoustic amp I own. Subtle nuances in voice and guitar are replicated so clearly, I forget which part is already recorded on the looper and what is the live part I am playing! No kiddin, its that good! Speakin of the looper, that is probably the best practice feature of any piece of gear I own. Nothing fancy, and 40 seconds tops, but it is falling off a log ez and really does give you enough time to lay down a basic track. My guitar has never sounded so crisp and clean, ambience/chorus on both channels are very high quality! Went to the Birmimgham Branch. Served by Jay, excellent costomer service from him. Sorted us out on what we required when we had little knowldge of the equipment. Explained everything really well without bombarding us with technical jargon. It all has fittted the bill for what I needed. Would deffinately go back. I have only had the amp for a short time, so I'm still exploring the envelope. The foot pedal has a little bit of a learning curve, but I'm getting used to it. It's click-less and completely silent, which is great, but the lack of haptic feedback make it difficult to tell if you have pressed the switch or not. I'll either get used to it or buy an upgrade later. The reverb and chorus are very rich and natural, as well as noiseless. It seems to have plenty of power, but I haven't played out with it yet. One reviewer mentioned disappointment with the harmony, but I'm having the opposite experience. I play with a lot of minor chords, as well as open 9th's and 11th's and all that kind of moody junk. The harmony works great with it. The harmony also keeps up with hammer-ons and pull-offs just fine. I can see where it might have trouble with arpeggiation, but then the processor is only getting one note at a time to work with. The harmony only gives back what you put in. If you are off key or your guitar is slightly out of tune (as I found out with a new set of strings during break-in), of course the harmony goes off the rails. If you sing in a breathy voice, the harmony recedes into the background. It reminds me of an old expression from the early days of computers: GIGO. Ask an old-timer if you don't know that one. Basically, it's just giving back an imitation of your own input, and it is brutally honest! I've been making practice recordings and already have improved on some of my lazy vocal technique. I waited two years to buy this thing and my only regret is not buying it two years ago!Rob

Overall: I've been playing and singing for 40+ years just for fun. I grew up with a singing Father (country music) and he taught me how to play. I have always played for friends and have played at parties and even a wedding. Recently I decided to upgrade my equipment and started looking at multiple amps in this range. I have the Roland AC-60 and love it but I wanted something with more power so I didn't have to mic through a PA. I went to a local music store and tested the Fishman (180 watts) and loved it. Then I played through the Boss ACS Pro and fell in love with it's sound and it's options. Luckily one of the employees at the store gigs and has one so he took me through all of it's options and abilities. With the touch of a Boss FS-6 pedal you can literally become a one man band. It has all the great features and sound other acoustic amps in this category have except it adds a Harmonizer and a built in Looper. I was blown away. The Pro pushes out 120 watts which is more then enough power for me. It's not much bigger then my Roland AC-60. I tested it outside on our deck when we had a small party and it was perfect. All my friends were blown away at how great it sounded and more importantly how good it made me sound. Roland, Fishman, and many others make great sounding amps, but for my needs and the options it offers I absolutely had to have it. Thank you zZounds for making it possible.Jeff

Below are two reviews out of five that mentioned hiss from the amp. Unfortunately, I ignored the warnings. They are correct. I received the amp today and before plugging in and with all pots cranked left (off) as they are right out of the box, I powered up to hear a very audible hiss. Not good. This is not a 60 cycle hum and has nothing to do with bad power or ground loops. It is amp hiss which cannot be rectified. I bought the amp to place in front of my couch pointing at me to practice at low volumes with effects. My ears are bothered by the constant unclean sound at these low volumes. If the amp had a mic on it for stage work, the hiss would definitely be heard when not playing and possibly within the music. I am disappointed at myself for not taking those reports seriously. I did so because I trusted the brand and because the design of the amp seemed perfect for my needs. The amp otherwise is really sweet. The effects are usable and the EQ is very sensitive with fantastic range. It also delivers brilliant highs and soothing warm low end. It is a powerful 20 watts and my baritone ukulele sounds wonderful through it. But the hiss … it never stops. It is never clean even with the volume off. I really wanted to keep this amp, but I will be returning it and looking towards a Roland or Fishman both offering higher wattages which I do not need, not to mention the much higher price points. The experience is a bummer but I have faith in MF's return policy and honest service.Scottie

I was looking for a small amp with some bells & whistles to use for all sorts of applications, but not spend a bundle. This model fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunatley all it's great features can't out-weigh the "hiss" sound all the other reviewers are complaining about. I took a chance and ordered an open box model which was noisy just like all the other reviews mentioned. MF sent me a brand new one and it was just as noisy. I am now awaiting a third amp hoping it's from a different batch. I can't believe that Acoustic would allow an entire crop of amps circulate with such poor sound quality. I have owned the Acoustic A20 for a few weeks. I am a long time player/musician. This amp is pretty good as a bedroom shed amp for acoustics with pickups. You can get a clear sound with enhancements, like more bass or reverb. Retains the "acousticy" quality way better than some electric guitar amp. I have tried it with Takamine classical & steel string, Eastman archtop & flattop. The amp provides a pretty good sound for all. Not enough power for an actual gig. I was not expecting that, so OK. No good for an electric archtop; too distorted. Biggest bummer for me: no gain setting/preamp. To get a decent volume from some guitars, turn this amp up to "10". Or, use an external preamp. Also, the feedback elimination works OK, two knobs. But, even with "level" on "0", the other knob still has a big effect on the sound. Just saying. Poor design there. Reverb is cheesy but better than nothing. Chorus same; adds feedback. Borderline useless. I like the amp for the $$; but it is not some pro gear. Good for light home practice use only.reviewer

These amps are amazing! The harmony pedal is so tight to the vocal, the clarity in the acoustics are great on voice and guitar. The reverbs are quite a large hall with only 1 setting, so personally don’t use the reverbs too heavy, chorus is great, delay is great. Simple looper on there, but don’t personally use, I connect an alternative looper as difficult to use live. But overall sound of acoustics and depth are really top notch! I bought two and gig with my partner with just these two as I couldn’t find anything as clean with such a cool harmony pedal. 2 d.I out inputs on thé back make it really good for recording live sessions too!Corrie E.

I had a Fishman Loudbox before this amp, and I was completely satisfied. I believed I had it all – and I STILL know that Fishman creates an awesome acoustic amp. Then one day, I saw a demo of this amp at a local music store while travelling and I decided to play with it for a few hours. Well, unbeknownst to me, I opened up a black hole money sucking vortex, and sure enough within two months I bought one of my own. The first thing that captured my attention with this amp is how little . . .and yet LOUD this amp really is. Quite frankly, I can't recall ever feeling so confused about the size versus the sound output on a device. Obviously, the smaller, the more portable, but often it comes with a significant sound downgrade. To me this is now the new gold standard on what a small portable amp can output. The next thing that caught my ear was just how much the amp brought to life the natural sound of an acoustic guitar. It has standard tone controls, but in addition it has three different resonance modes you can add – and they're not gimmicky. I have my favorite, but all three add a flavor to the sound that is warm and, well, wood grainy. Finally, I was unable to resist its siren song charms after hearing what it can do if you plug in a vocal mic. With the additional ability to add either a lower, upper, or unison vocal in conjunction with your own . . . geez this thing is perfect for a portable acoustic musician playing to small groups. Add in a dual footswitch and you gain even more control, including a looper. Serious, if what I describe is what you're looking for, look no further. It seems that Fender makes an amp for every use, want and need, and this one satisfies on numerous levels. I'm setting up a studio in my one car garage/mancave, I've already warned my neighbors, who so far seem amenable, and I have placed a Marshal MG15 series DFX (a gift from a friend) and now this Fender Acoustasonic 40 which can get quite loud for the space involved. The Fender is, so far, strictly for practice and the fact that I can add a mic is both impressive and very handy in such a small and handy amp. I brought it home only last week and have explored several tonal settings and, having just scratched the surface, I can't wait to see what else it can do. And it is, so far, obviously perfect for small venues. So, as it happens, it seems I'm more than a bit of a Fender fan. In 2006 I bought a Fender Sunburst Stratocaster (a primary must have guitar.) and a Blues Jr. amp; and then a few years later, I added a Butterscotch Blond Telecaster (a longtime dream realized) and eventually, a Fender 200, 200W acoustic amp to complement my Taylor 614ce for in house use [all bought through Guitar Center with the help of Nick], (Neither of which have made it to the man cave. Yet.) So, do your due diligence, read the reviews, go to Guitar center and ask to try one out, and if they don't have one on site, I'm sure that, if they have a manager as good as Nick Giordano at the store in Murrieta, Ca., they will order one for your trial pleasure and you won't be sorry.Dave

The Fender Acoustasonic 40 40W 2×6.5 Acoustic Guitar Amplifier is a wonderfully portable and good sounding acoustic amp. I tested the Fender Acoustasonic 15 15W 1×6 and I thought it had a good sound but I didn't want the Chorus effect I wanted the Reverb effect and the 40 had reverb. It cost more to get the 40 over the 15 but I got the reverb, more power, and a nice tone for the price. Except for the reverb the 40 s a bare bones no frills amp and that's what I wanted. By the way It is just as portable as the 15. The quality of the amp is realized as soon as you open the box. It is well-built and quite attractive. It has a big sound for such a small package. I plugged my Taylor 714 Nylon into it and set the Amp EQ knobs flat. I adjusted the volume on the amp. The EQ knobs on the Taylor were flat with half volume. I played a bit then adjusted the EQ on the guitar. When that sounded good I flavored that tone with a bit of reverb and that was good enough to get me through the afternoon. I have other settings for different songs or environments but this was a good place to start. I plugged a microphone in and that is a separate channel that requires its own EQ. There is no balance control except your ear. It also works well when you plug in other devices for backing tracks, etc. Overall, a great amp for a reasonable price.Bart

Love my Fender 15, got it a Thrift store for much less than a new one, it was in great shape and sounds awesome, with rich deep sound. Alot louder than I figured on before I got home to try it out. Its very well Builth box and high-end knobs with a vintage Fender look. I highly recommend this little amp for convenient practice or when on the go to jam with friends. The separate Mic input and volume knobs are nice when you want to sing and play at the same time. I have a huge 4 speaker Yamaha Amp that is huge, but this little amp rivals it when both are set at lower volumes. Also, this one is easier to carry on the go, and mine sets in my living room next to my guitar for easy practicing while my huge one takes up too much space in there, so I only roll it out when needed.jimdandy-2007

Purchased as Xmas present for my teenage daughter who is a budding acoustic guitar player but also plays electric occasionally with clean tones only (no use or need for distortion or overdrive). Small size and ample volume for her needs make it great addition to her room. Lovely clean sound for her Yamaha electro-acoustic and my Fender Strat (which she has stolen!!). Built in chorus is nice addition but nowhere near as nice a sound as a dedicated pedal. Sufficient tone control and option for mic as well plus headphones out if desired. Perfect for home or studio use. Good live in small venue, and works well for larger venue thru a board. The effects are precise and vocals come thru well. I use mine now for studio recordings with a 12 string Taylor and added a sub woofer (which the AC-60 allows) to give it a punch. Being able to plug in headphones is a huge ++ for practice. Highly recommend the Roland AC-60 for a beginner to pro. It will allow you to really hear yourself play and be 'in the pocket' to either play live, or more important for me, lay down clean tracks without using any digital effects from the computer, or rack.fboomer65

I've been through a couple acoustic amps lately including a Fishman Loudbox Mini, Crate CA-60D, and Acoustic AG-60. The Roland AC-60 is by far my favorite. It's not the loudest of the bunch and it doesn't have the effects of some, but what it does have is a clarity of sound -especially for vocals. All the amps I mentioned are great for acoustic guitars. I couldn't really tell you which is truly the best for that. But the Roland shines if you want to sing along with a guitar. With it's smaller size and the carrying case, it's much more portable than the others. Also of note is an output for a subwoofer if you choose to extend the sound range. The bass is slightly lacking since it only has 6 1/2" speakers. I would go for the AC-90 with the 8" speakers if I could afford it. But I'm more than happy with the AC-60.Groovy Jones

Very pleased. Crystal clear sound, good reverb and nice subtle chorus. Using the piezo input and the phantom powered mic input with a condenser mic together gives a very realistic acoustic tone though feedback still an issue.Graham

On the vocal side: the harmonies are spot on, sound super authentic and non-robotic, and the reverb and effects are superb. the most amazing lightweight personal amp I've ever owned. It has a microphone input too. The power and big sound from this is almost unbelievable. I bought the Vox VX 50 AG, to use as a practice amp at home. I've been more than satisfied with it's tone and volume. It's a nice compact body size, and is easy to move around because of the low weight and sturdy carrying handle. The controls are easily accessible on top, and have a quality feel to them. Overall, a very good amp that I would purchase again, and recommend to others!Gary

I have owned this amp for about 5 years and I have done over 500+ gigs with it easily. I have other similar products that I use depending on the size of the venue but this is usually the one I go to first because it sounds the best. Most amps with seperate tweeters are artificially brittle and not very flattering to piezo pickups. The AC-33 is crisp and full but not brittle!. The looper is brilliant! The batteries last a long time but you get better headroom when you use the veary hearty AC adapter. The Feedback reduction is also very effective and does not kill the tone as some do. I use this amp constantly, it is a gig workhorse. For larger venues, it works well as a monitor and a line can be sent to the mains so it acts as a mixer on stage. The only thing I am not crazy about is the vocal mic input but it is good also, just not brilliant. You really need to crank the gain on the vocal channel to get the signal because it is a multi use input and padded for versatility. No points off for that. The build quality is Typical Roland- the best you can find. I would replace this in a second if it broke but it does not seem it ever will. It is worth every penny of the price, so buy it. Oh, BTW- I think of the series of AC amps, the 33 is the most natural sounding, not boomy and not brittle. It is GREAT for nylon string and other acoustic instruments also. I use it for UKe and Banjo too. Probably one of the BEST purchases I ever made.Mat G.

I am surprised how much I like this amp. I play it with a jazz archtop (a Gibson ES-175). Needed something for small gigs at restaurants and parties. I've tried a number of smaller solid state amps made for acoustic guitar. Most of them either sound boxy, or they color the guitar's sound ever so slightly. The biggest PROS: this amp delivers a very accurate representation of your instrument's acoustic voice when played without effects. It is the nicest sounding, most uncolored amplification I've found yet in an amp this size. Professional performance quality at low volumes. Also good, the battery performance. It really does go forever on 8 AA's. Get yourself an 8 bank charger and 16 rechargeable and you will never use the AC power supply. I forgot where mine is. The proprietary battery housing in the back of the amp is completely ingenious and impressively robust. Final big pro: exceptionally light weight. What a luxury. Now the CONS: Not loud enough for a gig with a drummer, unless he's playing brushes only. There are some battery amps out there by Crate and Roland that are louder, but they have a harder, more high-gain sort of sound better suited to a solid body electric. So you will also need a heavier amp that requires wall power for times you play with a drummer (if you want your guitar to be audible and still convey its clean, natural voice).mulho-james

I was in need of an acoustical amp while my family and I dry camped out in the wilderness. The battery function really brought my home studio and guitars along to write incredible nature love songs. Phil Keaggy's success with looping effects has taught me to bring my solo performances to greater heights. Sound: My head mic uses low gain, my processor takes care of guitar EQ. I just wanted clean sound, this does that Features: The mobile cube has voicings for acoustic, electric, lead , piano. Pairs nicely with Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic-electric. I bought this to be heard at a small local bar where I occasionally play in a wood-paneled alcove that absorbs sound. This amp is highly portable and is adequate for a living room party or for the small audience I bought this for. The sound seems fine even cranked up, which isn't going to make the walls shake but loud enough to annoy the neighbors if you play late at night. It is sensitive enough to play at low volume in your bedroom and has a headphone jack. I play a variety of styles, flatpicking and finger-style, and am able to hear the effect of playing with the ridges of my fingerprints. (Not really a performance technique, but a gauge of how much sonic detail gets reproduced.) Not a gigging amp, it is good for when you want a small, battery-operated way to boost your sound. The reverb is a nice feature. The chorus is a heavy effect with no way to adjust it and I probably won't use it much. The "Wide" button seems to change the direction of the sound, but I haven't played with it enough to know how to take advantage of that feature. Optimized for acoustic guitar, I've played my Les Paul and D'Angelico hollowbody through it with fine results, obviously playing clean. I commented that this amp has good warmth, but I want to qualify that by saying it has good warmth for a low-powered amp with small speakers. Trebles are emphasized and lows are not prominent; still the sound reproduction seems faithful and not at all tinny. It sounds good. I am happy with my purchase and will keep this amp.c.z.fixx

Is this going to be a cheap plastic box with some tinny sounding little speakers? All the positive reviews must be over rated. I noticed the shipping box was kind of on the heavier side. The little amp is kinda heavy. The sound and tone is really nice. The weight must be in the speakers. I also have the Roland 5 watt Cube Street. Other than the Street has bigger speakers the quality of sound out of the AC is all as good and can get loud. The EQ tone knob does a lot more than expected. The chorus is either on or off. A bit much but useable. The reverb is nice nothing weird. Reverbs all the channels at once. I plugged in a mic into the vocal channel and only did a few words. It seems it would be fine. I plugged in my phone and tried the aux input. Nice. The stereo button works very noticeable. I can see using this easily at outdoor low volume gigs. Farmers markets, busking, acoustic jams, and even quiet coffee house set ups. Overall I really like the portability and the nice sounds out of it for a little package. Overall: I’ve owned this amp for about a year and a half now. I run my Taylor 814 CE DLX through it as well as my vocals. It is the clearest sounding amp I have ever used. I have been leading worship in several places for many years. As I said I use the amp as a personal monitor. Both vocals and guitar then out to the house pa. I own 2 other acoustic amps (name brand) and quite frankly there is no comparison. The Genzler is a superior product. Thanks Jeff for your amazing amplifier.GregGreg

I'm really impressed with the versatility of this amp. Found out you can blend inputs from 4 sources into the two channels. I just love the tone and the sound. Very lightweight compared to other acoustic amps I have. Much more bass without sounding muddy. Digital effects are top notch. Three direct outputs from various points in the signal chain for recording. Although I give it a hearty recommendation, I do wish it came with a cover.safeman007

I would say it was the best, However, I believe that goes to the Genzler pro. I bought the mini. It is simply amazing. Since I also sing, The mini doesn’t offer much for EQ. If your just playing guitar, look no further. The mini would most likely be all you would ever need. The Pro offers a better EQ plus each channel has both XLR and line inputs. I’m going to be trading up to the Genzler Pro and also investing in the extension cab. Even though the price is up there, it’s worth every penny. Which is why I’m confident in investing even more to get the most out my acoustic rig. I play a Martin Streetmaster D-15m with K&K pure mini passive pickup. My guitar sounds absolutely incredible. I played for two hours straight. It literally makes you sound like you are performing on a concert stage. Sonic perfection. Maybe not AS loud as a concert, But definitely as Good! Buy it. Powerful little amp with a bunch of onboard effects including a 90 second looper (Note the product descriptions say 60 seconds on most major retail sites) however it can do 90 seconds and layer on as much as you like. My Gibson J-45 sounds beautiful out of this amp and with an LR Baggs pre-amp pedal I am below 1/4 volume and that's enough to fill a large living room full of sound. The bluetooth functionality works great and sounds really good. It does miss a bit on the low end when playing music from an iPhone, but that was expected. The effects are great, tone is spot on. Only wish for me is that you could blend reverb and chorus but you can only mix delay/chorus and delay/reverb. Not a big deal. For an affordable, great clean sounding amp with some nice effects you can't go wrong with this. I put it up against a Fishman Loudbox mini and went home with this one.Randall K

I bought this little guy about 2 weeks ago and am really happy that I did. I am constantly tweaking my sound in search of just the right sound. This one gets me there for the most part. The clarity and depth of the low end was a great surprise. I am a solo acoustic performer for the most part occasionally branching out to duos and trios. I have a ton of gear but also seem to struggle getting just the right sound mainly because everywhere I play is different. This little guy is a great solution for small rooms or quiet settings. It's also a pretty good solution for larger louder gigs due to its line out options. I can go straight into the back of my different line array speakers and get a bigger beautiful tone that fills the room nicely. The FX are great and very easy to dial in. I also bought the 4 button foot pedal which makes the looping seamless. Vocals through this amp are clear and have the same options for quality fx. I tried several acoustic amps, but this one did it for me. It's also very light weight and even has a small integrated kickstand which is pretty cool. Very glad I bought this, it makes practicing a pleasure as well due to the sound quality. My acoustic guitars come to life and my semi hollow PRS sounds beautiful through it as well.Jaxon

've been playing blues and jazz gigs for over 20 years. This is a well rounded addition to my existing PA and stack when needed. The stand alone feature for smaller gigs was an attractor, but I purchased it as a practice amp for my home studio. After playing with it I used it on a small coffee shop gig and it excelled.Jazzman

In searching for an Acoustic Amp my three criteria were that it be at least 30 Watts, have two separate inputs/controls, and stay in my budget. I narrowed down my list to the Acoustic A40 and Fishman Loudbox Mini. Though I was drawn to the Loudbox Mini's smaller size I chose the Acoustic A40 as the price was about $60 less and it had the bonus of a headphone jack. In the end very happy with my choice. The amp does not have the annoying buzz that so many amps seem to have when you are not playing. When you are playing the sound is deep and definitely has the power to fill the room. The built in effects panel offers a wide range of options and allows you to save personalized settings. I also like the combo XLR / 1/4"" jacks. Think Guitar Center has done well with this private label amp. It sounds awesome, is built solid, flexible, and well worth the reasonable price tag.Matt

I lead worship at our church and play several outdoor events every year. For years I have used my Crate CA125 amp and it has served me well, but I could never get a really nice sound out of it and had to play through an old DOD Acoustec pedal to get a sound that was close to what I wanted. Out of curiousity I plugged into the Acoustic A40 at Guitar Center, and wow! The tone was amazing. Wonderful bass response and really nice, clear highs. I like the simple interface, an easy to manipulate 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid. I like the less is more approach that they've taken with this amp – the bottom line is it's very easy to get a nice sound. The preset effects are nice, I really like the reverb effects and the chorus is nice too. The amp also has phaser, delay, and flanger, but I wouldn't have much use for those unless I was recording lead guitar lines for a backing track or something like that. The Bluetooth is great! The 1/8" aux input jack on the front is very useful also. There is no individual volume control for these two, you just control your volume on the device you're using and it sounds very clean with a wide volume range. The amp comes with 20 preset effects patches, most of which are pretty nice (but not #19, oh it's horrible). There are also 20 channels available for user presets. What's less than stellar? Editing effects. Very unintuitive and at times frustrating, and the manual isn't much help. It took me some time and trial & error to get things dialed in how I wanted. I do like that I can take an existing effects setting, add other effects to taste, and then save it as a user preset complete with a programmable name of my choice, pretty cool. When you have an effect turned on you get it on both channels, no choice there but with reverb and a little chorus it works very well for guitar and vocals. If you need more flexibility you could step up and get the A1000, but for a player like me this amp has all I need. 2 thumbs up.Rob
