My son loves his beat boxing beet ball. He's learning to crawl and is quite good at it, he creeps but he also manages to scoot and hop his way around even though he hasn't mastered the traditional crawl as yet. when he's in his cloud enclosure and practicing his crawling this is the toy that gets him moving the most. He will follow the Beet anywhere it goes. It's absolutely adorable and you can turn it off or leave it on where it will only start moving and beat boxing when he's tapped, rolled or otherwise has been moved or touched in some way so it isn't an annoying toy that plays music constantly u til you flip the off switch. This is one of the features that makes it great for babies learning to crawl as well because it will move off and then when it stills it will go quiet until your child catches up with it and reaches out to grab it. As soon as the little hand connects with the Beet it will once again resume beat boxing and vibrating making it interesting again as it rolls off once more a bit out of reach before going quiet in its resting place. Thus keeping baby interested and giving incentive for baby to keep following and reaching out for it once more. It's really rather ingeniously designed in that way. My boy has played with this thing for hours total since we got it and he loves it. It never fails to get him moving and he has begun doing a sort of improvised frog leap since we got it in an effort to move and follow the Beet so in my experience it really does work by helping give them incentive to move and keeping them active and engaged while they're learning to crawl. We also bat it around to one another while he's on his belly and learning to balance sitting up. I highly recommend this to the parents of babies aged 3 months plus. I was very happy to give my 7 month old this Skip Hop Farmstand beet box crawl ball, but that excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Although the vibrant purple beet is a cute idea, it does not keep a child engaged. It has a somewhat annoying staticky beatbox type of sound, that can become irritating after a few minutes. Perhaps it could have offered more fun if the translucent bottom had flashing or blinking lights as it is rolled around on the floor. it is basically a pretty large rattle with a beat.Brickman

My daughter recieved this cute and adorable bee toy for Christmas and she loved it. However and like some that I just noticed on the ratings, it stopped working for a month. The bee does not move and just makes the buzzing sound even when the bee is placed in the Cloud. I tried to look online to see if there's a fix but have not been successful. It has vibrant colors and a vintage look. All the animal friends are developmentally appropriate and aesthetically pleasing! The animals hang low enough that the baby can kick and reach. I received this gym for free in order to review it and it’s a great activity gym, though it’s more adorable looking than it is highly functioning. PROS This play gym is simply adorable to look at and the photos do not disappoint! It has bright colors, a darling and unique camping theme and fun thematic details that you don’t see in other gyms such as the scenery backdrop and the wooden looking posts. The older siblings thoroughly enjoy it. The mat of the gym is generously sized and larger than others I’ve used, which allows siblings to lay and play with the baby. CONS Because of the pointed teepee design, none of the toys hang in the middle and therefore nothing is directly overhead of the baby if laying in the center. The toys, which hang on the posts on the perimeter, attach at odd heights that are either too high or too low for my 2 month-old. I also would have appreciated if the musical raccoon played music for longer than a few seconds to better stimulate baby’s attention. The included bear neck pillow, while cuter than any I’ve seen, isn’t practical because the bear face on the left forces baby to lay far to the right side and he then easily rolls off. OVERALL The unique and visually-appealing aspects of this gym would make it a memorable gift. Because of the look somewhat eclipsing the effectiveness of the product, I would also recommend this activity gym for someone who already has a gym and could use another for a different room in the house or to swap with an older one because even babies enjoy mixing things up a bit!MeganB
I loved this at first – purely based on looks and cuteness in photos. Yes it does photograph well, and it is adorable, BUT I had to give it a 1 star because it’s dangerous. My baby was able to enjoy it during his newborn phase before he had the ability to roll over, even though the placement of toys wasn’t ideal for his age, but as soon as he became more mobile, he would constantly knock it down. I caught him several times getting his head stuck between the mesh and the mat. Safety definitely wasn’t in mind when they designed this thing. Perhaps there shouldn’t be a gap between the mesh and the mat, or maybe there should be something to keep the mat’s form so it wouldn’t fold so easily.Rnnk
I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review, but I am so happy with the Camping Cubs Activity Gym, that I’d gladly recommend it to all parents. First, the gym is adorable. We leave it in our living room for our little guy to play with and everyone who comes over comments on how adorable it is. My son is five months old and is rolling over and I like the “Tepee” design because the toys are not directly over his head like in other activity gyms so he can roll without getting hit in the head by the toys. The mat is so soft and I like that there are flaps to open and closes and different textures to feel—it makes tummy time more enjoyable. The toys that can be attached are extremely soft and I like that they are all different shapes/characters. The turtle that has a mirror is a favorite in our house. I like that it can grow with the baby. Since there is plenty of space above the baby as he/she learns to sit up, this gym can still be used. ASSEMBLY: Unlike some of the traditional activity gyms, the tepee design made set-up really easy since you didn’t need to create a dome shape above the mat. The toys can easily be moved. I absolutely love this activity center. I love the versatility. It literally grows with your child. He has been using it since a baby, now he’s 18 months old. We took out the seat and popped in the platform as a table. We also purchased the set of chairs to match. He often eats, plays or does coloring and crafts on it now. It’s truly worth the money. To be fair I have nothing to compare this to in person, but for the price when compared to other options online, I expected more. First, the motion sensor function on the keyboard doesn't work. Not sure if this is a common issue or we just got the one dud. Second, the instructions that come with the activity center are not at all helpful. Luckily, assembly was somewhat intuitive, though we were constantly worried we were about to snap the plastic tabs off of the table top because it appears you just kind of have to muscle it. Also why are there random loops on the top front of the seat? Can't find any explanation of what those are! And finally, I'm shocked that the platform is not more adjustable. The shortest setting is not quite short enough for our 5 month old to really use, yet he's strong enough to do so if it were. We've temporarily stacked some books underneath it to raise it up another inch – it's an annoying and often tippy fix. Overall, not gonna lie… we're a little bummed!Babytown
The activity centre would be a decent product. My son likes it a lot. The issue is that the cloth seat gets dirty, so my wife and I clean it every so often. The seat is fading and getting worn after several washes and it looks like it’s in bad shape now.. I enquired with Skip Hop by email about buying a replacement part, and an agent called Merlin gave me a terse and rude email saying Skip Hop doesn’t sell replacement parts, and it doesn’t assist Canadian customers when their products have problems. Merlin, if you don’t to help your Canadian customers, you shouldn’t sell your products here. I will never by a Skip Hop, Carters or Osh Loah product again.

My son has always had issues sleeping and would wake multiple times a night . This Terra cry activated soother has been a lifesaver m my sin would wake anywhere from 9-12 times within the night . After using this for 3 days on the rain setting and the multiple color option nightlight. He is finally sleeping through the night . I forgot to turn it on one night and he woke several times until I realized I needed to turn it on he didn't wake again . I like that I can also record a voice recording with my own voice . The lights are bright enough to see around the room yet not so bright that it disturbs a little ones sleep . With a temperature control on the front of it I can see the temp of my sons room . I love this toddler toy! It is super cute and fun. It is easy for my 12 month old to use, though he isn't strong enough to make the full noise yet. I think he will be soon enough. Also, I don't mind the sound it makes, but my husband was not thrilled about it. I let my son have it for a few minutes before I hid it away for a gift, and he walked around proudly stretching it to make noise. He loves carrying around toys from one side of the house to the other. This is very light and I'm not worried about him getting hurt with it. I can't wait for him to open it up on Christmas morning!
