Reviews:
Overall: I received this out of the Mississippi Warehouse. It was dinged in several placed along the seam that connects both sides. The bottom had a gap just shy of 1/4 inches and even with the 5 latches closed the gap was there. It only has 2 hinges! major stupid idea. This is for a wide guitar Duh. Three hinges pleaseBrett
I have a PRS S2 singlecut standard that PRS is still working on getting a case designed to fit, I was told by their support that it should be ready within the next year or so, I was not going to wait so I tried many cases of different brands. I got this case for an awesome price ($115 plus free shipping). It's a good sturdy case with TSA latches, I did have to pad the lower bout which I was expecting to do anyway, but for the price and for the protection of my investment I am extremely pleased.truefret2
This case cradles my Les Paul beautifully. It is sturdy. The transit friendly locks are smooth. It is a really good deal compared with the stock hard case. The SKB gives you more for less.charles2055

Reviews:
I purchased this item to protect my Gibson Les Paul Custom Signature Series Guitar. As reviewed, the interior is extremely plush. The exterior looks quite dependable for all intent and purposes. Like others noted, the points of contention are the metal pieces attaching the handle preventing a 5 star rating. It is illogical to spend so much time on every detail "except" the parts supporting ALL the weight of the instrument. It appears that with a given amount of weight shift, the support brackets may snap off allowing the case to fall down in the direction of the headstock and potentially cause damage from impact. Since this case will very rarely see time outside of my home, I feel fairly certain the few times I need to transport my axe, I will be careful.1amun_re
Cheap shell covered with vinyl. Cheap handle. Cover is falling off where the case curves in. Stitching is a joke, not real. It should sell for about $40. At least it fits my guitar. Not even close in quality to a Road Runner for about the same price.nolens
i ordered this with intentions of getting the most for my money. I don't have big bucks to spend, but I wanted certain things and I got what I hoped for. I wanted enough length to accommodate the longer-than-typical headstock on my LP copy Bradley. The measurements were clearly lined out. The rest of the fit was perfect and plush. My only criticism is the metal bracket that secures the nice handle seems a little thin, but I expected there to be a little give-and-take somewhere, for this price. I'm pretty handy and will figure out a way to reinforce it. If not for this I'd give it 5 stars! FYI, Standard Shipping meant US Post Office, at least in my case. I'm glad I have a good-natured mail carrier.filmbuffed

Fantastic case!! Very sturdy and beautifully constructed, well made. Holds my Fender Strat very well along with enough room for my mic, cords, picks, looper and other misc. items. Perfect size to carry. Very nice looking case. Very satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommend.Sammy
Thought I would take a chance on the listing that stated the SKB guitar case was used. It showed up very well packaged and in mint condition. Opening up the case the oxygen absorber packets were still inside along with the keys. I would not think twice about buying another used item from Pro star audio especially with the almost 30% discount price. Excellent condition, fast shipping, well packagedCuteWolf-84894
The case is fairly lightweight, but sturdy. It fits a Stratocaster very well. Teles have a bit more room to move around. But once you secure the top it is probably a snug fit. Provides two storage areas that are very handy. I also like how the outside corners are rounded.oldchicagoblues78

Well made for the money. The picture doesn't really show the quality, but it's there. My Gibson SG standard fits a little loose, but not enough to move around with the lid closed. Latches seem to be solid and not to cheaply made like other competitors product. It gets five stars. Musiciansfriend get five stars also because they made the entire sales process very simple and direct. Thanks for the great job!!!!Tommyb
Sound: N/A Features: The separate interior compartment was one of the reasons for the purchase but nothing fit. Gibson Les Paul Standard doesn't fit. The neck isn't supported thus causing the body to rock back and forth. Kramer Assault 220+ does not fit. Same problem with the neck as the LP. PRS SE Fredrik Akesson doesn't fit because the body is too thick. Ease of Use: N/A Quality: The outer plastic case material felt thin and flimsy. It'll probably protect your guitar during daily carry but I don't think it'll survive an impact. The latches and hinges are terrible. The latch metal and plating is rough and sharp on the edges. All the latch pivot pins are bowed, I suspect from tension keeping the cover closed tight. The hinges are mounted slightly crooked with the middle hinge mounted on a curve so the edges stick out. All around poor selection of hardware and poor workmanship. The blown foam interior is smaller that the case leaving a 1/4 inch space all the way around. The plush interior hides this gap but it's significant. One of the desiccant packets was open inside (?!) and a few of the little pellets are now rolling around underneath … which means there's airspace underneath! I though it was solid foam? Guess not. Value: I'm not sure what fits in this case … properly … but for $109, its quality and workmanship is marginal and a far cry from the PRS hard case I tried for $177. I would put this in the $60 range but maybe I'm expecting too much. Manufacturer Support: N/A The Wow Factor: It looked good until I actually got it in my hands. Overall: Overall, not worth it. Very poor construction. Not sure what fits. Returning it.Paul
The case is road worthy, and does its job of protecting my guitar! As a touring musician (to any musician), that is what matters most. It is a simple good looking case and I am very pleased that I bought it!I've had it for a couple of months, and have traveled and performed through 3 states with it. I live in Florida and deal with weather that is very humid and big up and down temperature changes during the winter and spring months and the case still looks new and continues to keep my guitar safe!Gene M

Reviews:
Great case! I thought I wanted some sort of brown leather or tweed vintage looking case to go with old school looking Epiphone Masterbuilt. Matching it's ldimensions became expensive fast in that market. Low and behold this case shared the correct measurements so I "settled" for a plastic hard shell case… I really misjudged the quality. Top notch all the way. The antique amber looking natural finish on my guitar looks stunning against the plush and vivid emerald green inner lining. I give this case a solid 100%Paisley
Overall: This case is built like a German Battleship. Great for airline travel as it is TSA approved. It fit my Guild F-2512E perfectly like a glove. Pricey? Yes. But worth every penny if you want to protect your investment. It beats a gig bag any day of the week which is the same as no protection at all. No regrets here. Buy it. You'll like it.Johnny
I purchased this case when I purchased my Guild F2512E guitar. Being a jumbo 12 string I wanted a case that would fit my new Guild. This case was recommended by AMS staff. The case arrived with my Guild and I was not disappointed. This case fits my Guild like a glove! The Guild has an arched back and I was concerned it wouldn't fit properly. There was no need to worry the SKB holds my Guild perfectly!Tom

Reviews:
I bought this product to do double duty for my Les Paul and PRS single cutaway guitars. The Les Paul fits like a glove, but the PRS single cutaway doesn't fit. The toggle switch impression is in the wrong place for a PRS and the PRS body doesn't fit in the cavity. This was disappointing and the marketing needs to change to be accurate for what the case actually will hold. It is a great Les Paul case, but isn't as versatile as what they claim.Kona Mingo
I'm a traveling Industrial Electrician that always works away from home and have to transport my musical toys with me when I go. This case seems to be almost bullet-proof. I have several different guitar cases for my various guitars but wanted something extra tough for my Les Paul Standard. This is my workhorse guitar and therefore it goes where I go. No disappointments with this case. I also like the very ample accessory compartment. Most of the time the accessory compartment on music cases are far too small. If you are a traveler and want the best case/protection you can get for your instrument, look no further than SKB. Doing business with Musicians Friend has been a pleasure as always. They are by far my favorite online retailer.Wild Bill
This case is amazing, tougher than any other case I have ever seen or used!. The case has a rubber gasket all the way around, making this case air and water tight. I specifically went for this type of case because I live in an area when average humidity is ~85%. We all know that level of humidity is bad for wood instruments, and if I am going to spend more than $1000 on a guitar it needs to be protected. This case protects in spades! I put a bluetooth humidity sensor in all my guitar cases and I can monitor their inner humidity without having to open the case. This case keeps the humidity level from increasing inside the case better than any other cases I use. I WILL be purchasing more of these to upgrade all my cases to this level of protection. Well worth the money. Buy It!Jack

Reviews:
This case is advertised as a universal guitar case. However, I wonder which universe the guitars come from that fit this case. I own a 1966 Gibson Melody Maker, a 1980's model Kramer Focus 3000 and a BC Rich Mockingbird. While I've read others here say Fender Strats fit the case, the Kramer Focus 3000 I own has a strat type body and the case isn't designed to fit the body. I didn't really think it would work with the Mockingbird. But,it really disappointed me when the only way I could get the Melody Maker to fit into the case, was to squeeze it in. This particular Melody Maker is a double cut model, similar to an SG. This case has nice pockets. It appears to be well constructed. If you can find a guitar that fits this "universal" case, it might be a good value.
I really like this soft case. The Good: The hard foam shell gives a nice level on protection that many soft cases don't have. It's lightweight with good carry option and plenty of pockets that are the right size. Some have complained about the fit, but it's worked fine for everything I've tried in it. The Bad: construction. After just a couple months the side seams near the backpack straps are ripping out. I tend to be pretty careful with gear, so this hasn't been abused. If I baby it, it may last a while longer. I had a second case on order, but it got back ordered. I've canceled it and won't be buying another one. I'd gladly recommend it if it was sturdy enough.Boogie2
My second purchase and review of this high quality gig bag. Made for strats and teles. I've not seen a better value in a gig bag! Combines the compactness and over the shoulder convenience of a gig bag (frees both hands up) with the superior protection of a hardshell case. Plenty of useful outer pockets and a lid for the interior storage area so stuff doesn't move around. SKB has made an important refinement: on my first gig bag the screws that fasten the outer layer were too narrow and a few eventually came loose. They've put new type screws on and they appear more sturdy and less likely to loosen. I use this gig bag about every day for teaching and gigging. I'm not gentle with my stuff-tossing gear around to get where I'm going. Puts up with my abuse and keeps my guitars safe!strat98

Reviews:
This case fit my ESP LTD EC-256 (LP Clone) perfectly. I did not experience any of the previously mentioned neck fitting problems. My guitar dropped in and laid perfectly flat across the top neck cradles. Body is held in place by the case shape and the lid is padded to add just enough holding pressure to keep it from moving about. Case has 5 latches (nice) and the green velvet looks rich. I don't think I'd want to fly or hard travel with this case but for home storage or light gigging it's perfect. I only wish Silver Creek made a greater variety of cases. I have one for my semi-hollow Fender Starcaster, also a great case. I would buy more right now if they made them for SG, Stratocaster, Telecaster type guitars.Tom
This is the 3rd Silver Creek case I've purchased. They're a great bang for the buck! I watch for them to go on sale and used my rewards. Got this one for a 2006 Epiphone Les Paul '56 Gold Top. Fits well. I'm guessing it will hold up for many years, but everything holds up if you look after it. Advertised as having 6 latches but in reality only has 5. That's my only complaint. Change the description or add another latch. Would it have been a deal breaker? No, but it was a bummer.Mike
All these complaints have to be by people who got a bad batch from the factory. I own two of these and have a Gibson Tribute, and a Gibson Studio in them. The concern I had as with any case is the materials inside attacking the Nitro finish on my guitars. They have been in them for over a year and have checked on the finish very closely and have been fine as with MOST cases.I am buying another one to put my 2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard in to save wear and tear on the original older Gibson case. The fit is the same as a Gibson case where the guitar won't move in any direction. When you buy a case you also have to watch out that the guitar will also be stable when you rock it set on its edge. With these cases the guitar doesn't move at all in ANY direction. That is how a case is supposed to fit. There could be some fluckes out there, but I purchased two so far and they fit as good as a Gibson case and are sturdy and look classic with my guitars in them. If you are a musician that sends your guitar on a plane, get a flight case. As a professional musician doing local gigs and not being overly careful with them they stand up pretty good. But if your getting drunk abusing them like any other case they will break down.Hope this helps. Get one. You will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks.bustoff
9. Skb 1skb-66 Electric Guitar Rectangular Case
Product Details:
New skb-66 skb hardshell case that fits left or right, strat and tele shaped guitars. case was purchased new and has been sitting in a home studio. it has never been out of a smoke-free home. re-designed exterior with larger bumper protected corners and contoured stacking points for added convenience. accommodates skb's patented tsa recognized and accepted trigger release latching system and a comfortable rubber over-molded handle the skb-66 is designed for traditional body styles, both left and right handed strat and tele type guitars. a thirty year standard in universal fit electric cases. with a fitted interior with full neck support and deluxe plush protection on all sides.
Reviews:
I was going to get the SKB-6 but did not like that it does not have body contours to hold the guitar body snug. This SKB-66 has nice contours that do hold the guitar body snug. The neck support section was a little tight at first. But then I realized the softest part of this case is down the middle of the top lid where the lid touches the neck and strings. That section appears the same as the rest but indeed has a semi firm/soft foam so it does not squash the neck and strings but holds the Pacifica snug with no wobble room at all. Even with the case latch closed I can push in and flex the case in that area. No pressure on the 5 way switch or knobs. I was a little skeptical of the fit prior to purchase because the Pacifica has a slightlt different body shape from a Fender Strat. But, it fits just right. Latches seem sturdy. This is my second SKB ABS case. The first one is still holding strong after 18+ years with a Tele style guitar in it.Sasquach
I have another SKB rectangular Case that has the Fender logo embossed with the TSA locks. That case fits my Strat and Tele much better. This case is a bit lighter but still nice quality, however, the neck support is so high in the case that when you place your guitar in the case, the whole guitar sits at an angle. The headstock lifts up out of the case as the body drops in. When you close the lid, the pressure forces the headstock down and the body up putting undue stress on the neck of the guitar. When I think "universal" case, I would expect it to fit a traditional Strat and Tele, but it does not.Don
I bought this for a Charvel Predator, and was worried what I was going to be receiving for the price, since I have received some pretty crappy ones only a little cheaper than this one. When I got it and opened it up, I couldn't have asked for anything more. This is the highest quality case I have ever bought. There is tons of storage inside. I originally bought it to ship a guitar safely out to Mike Learn for a paint job, but this case will be one I will keep forever. BUY THIS NOW!!! I may be buying one or two more for other guitars I have.simplydirectproducts

Reviews:
The SKB-FS6 molded case is a great investment. My favorite Stratocaster fits inside the case perfectly. It is a very snug fit. The case is very well made. It should last many years.Kenneth
After several decades of carrying around my Telecaster in the big black plywood case it came in, the shaped case is a real pleasure to use. It made its first trip last week when I caught the bus downtown to a weekly blues jam. I thought, wow! Why didn't I get a case like this years ago? The shaped case protects the guitar as well as or better than the old plywood case, but is lighter and smaller, not much bigger than a gig bag. Also, I don't worry about sitting it down. I mean it's not going to fall over like those old cases were eager to do. I guess for stacking in a trailer or the back of a van the original rectangular case might have an advantage, but otherwise the close fit and ample padding of the shaped case seem protective. In addition, the shaped case has a cradle for the neck to rest in and a cut out cavity which holds the guitar secure. The old case contained the guitar, but did not restrain it, so you could hear and feel it flopping around a bit. My Strat has a similar rectangular wooden case, although without the strange orange lining of the Tele's old case, and the Strat flops around even more than the Telecaster. It is true that the shaped case doesn't have room for a lot of extra stuff, but pedals and assorted hardware in the case are really only good for making it incredibly heavy and rattling around looking for something to ding or scratch. I'll admit, however, back in the seventies having a fuzz face, a wah-wah pedal and other assorted stuff in the case. Man, was it heavy! Now, I just use an old computer bag for odd bits of hardware and my mini-pedal board. My only reservation at this point are the big plastic latches. They seem as if they could be a bit fragile, but since the case doesn't go anywhere that I don't go, I think they will be fine. Would I recommend this case? Absolutely, it even looks cool, so what's not to like?Jim
I'm a 61 year young guitar player who started playing when I was 12, and have seen, owned and used a wide selection of guitar cases. These are the best I have owned. I now have two of these excellent cases. I bought the first for my old Corona built '66 Stratocaster, liked it so well that I bought another for my MIM Telecaster. I'm going to buy two more of these cases for my other Fender guitars. The cases are extremely durable, and I am confident that my guitar is going to be ready to play where ever I'm going, even if I'm just going to a barbecue at my next door neighbors house. I have learned the hard way that my guitars stand as much a chance of getting damaged in my house as they do on an airplane flight. When my guitars are not in my hands, they are safely resting in their cases. Since I mentioned air flight, the simple ability for the TSA people can open my locked guitar case without causing damage, or causing me more hassle at the terminal, is a real selling point. I have flown several times with these cases, and thanks to the supreme durability of the case, and the TSA friendly lock, I don't have to fear my guitar being damaged or destroyed when they go on as checked luggage. These cases are small, with limited space to carry accessories, and that is good as they take up less room in the trunk of a small car. I follow Bob Taylor's advice on traveling with instruments; I put nothing in the case with my guitar but a small polishing cloth. I put the strap, tuner, strings, snuff can full of picks and anything else I want along in my carry on bag or other checked luggage.Beauregard Hooligan

Reviews:
I flew from Washington, DC to Tanzania in east Africa with my prized acoustic guitar in this case. I bought this case because it was waterproof and I thought SKB was a reliable brand. My guitar fit in the molded case nice and snug and the neck and head stock had excellent support. My guitar made it in perfect condition…arriving with me just like I had packed it. It has played great, just like at home. The price of this case was well worth the protection it gave guitar. Anyone flying with their acoustic guitar should have this case!Miller
This could very well be the best case ever for acoustic guitar, however the oversight on the dimensions is incredibly disappointing. It will not fit a 12 string guitar, or a 6 string guitar with a longer than average headstock. If they had added 1" to the internal dimensions, it would fit ANYTHING! For a standard dreadnaught acoustic, you'd be hard pressed to find a better case to fly with. Boat for that matter.Backlinetek
Overall: This thing is nearly bullet proof. Seven days and 100 miles of whitewater later, my 38-year old favorite guitar is unscathed. The case also served as a handy coffee/cocktail table in our riverside tent camps. So nice to know my best 6-string friend can go anywhere with me in the years to come. Highly recommended!Jim

Reviews:
Overall: Ordered this for my fender aerodyne strat. Box was dry… But inside the case was wet…not damp, wet. They keys that come inside the case were rusted. Also, don't buy this if you have an aerodyne. It doesn't fit properly. The body was tight but the neck was suspended about a half inch over the neck support.Jacob
Overall: I purchased this case for my custom shop Strat and I must say, this case is real nice. Holds the guitar snug And supports the instrument in all critical areas to prevent damage while shipping or flight. Honestly, you could probably throw this thing off the top of your house and it wouldn’t even damage it at all. Storage compartment is generous, I currently have three petals and a bunch of other accessories with room to spare. Overall this is a really solid case for the money and I definitely trust my $3500 instrument in it. Other things to mention, there are dual locks, six places for padlocks and wheels on this case. This thing is built like a tank, you will not be disappointed if you’re looking for durability. I highly recommend this to anyone who travels with their guitar a lot. If you sit at home and your guitar sits in the closet a lot it’s probably overkill..Norman
Hi, I just ordered two of these one for a strat and one for a tele, Both are extremely tight fitting for current guitars especially the neck area. The case will not work with the tele as shipped. You will need to cut out a spot in the lid for the last knob. I have to use as I don't have time for a change or I would return. Otherwise case seems OK. Also the padding is hard foam with a very thin layer of material.

Reviews:
Sound: As for a hard plastic bass case, it has a dead thump when I hit it. Features: The luggage- style wheels make it essential for schlepping through airports. Ease of Use: P-bass fits snugly. Enough compartment space for boss tuner, cables, set of tools. Flew over to the UK and currently on a Euro tour. Very lightweight. So far, working great. Quality: It's the same hard plastic used in pelican cases. It is made for tour and overseas travel. One seam does not appear to mate very well, but you can hear the air being pushed out when you shut it. The seam is my only complaint. Value: Expensive, but I think this will be a worthy investment. The Wow Factor: You might only get a better case if it is custom made, but encased in the pelican material.
I have had an Open Cavity iSeries Bass Case for 4.5 years. I have flown with it about half a dozen times, but the main way I use it is in the back of the equipment truck. In that regard, it has been on nearly a thousand gigs. It has a few scratches, and I replaced the wheels at around the three year mark (replaced with solid wheels instead of 2 piece), but beyond that-it is going strong. For reference, I play a Sadowsky 5-24. I liked this case enough that when I bought a second bass to take on the road, I ordered one of these, except in the P/J configuration since the new bass (Fender Precision 5) did not fit in the open cavity case. If it doesn't fit in the P/J case, I'll be returning it.Cam
This is my second SKB universal ata heavy duty case. It fits my larger Jackson 7 string sl7 pro and my Jackson dinky pro 7 string with reverse headstock due to large open area at headstock allowing for most any headstock orientation. A towel or shirt under guitar aligns neck to sit well in supportive neck channel. A shirt on top keeps guitar from moving around. Sturdy case with reasonable weight, I believe this SKB ata universal case is as sturdy as a few 1/4" guitar roadcases I've previously had without the excess weight. A heavy case gets tiring fast, that is why I buy the SKB shock mount roadcases for rack mount gear as well. The SKB are heavier duty and made of thicker and stronger plastic than a few Gator cases I had and sold off.kb

It's a beautiful case, very sturdy, the latches are tight and are easily latches and unlatched. It was pouring rain the first time I traveled with it and not a single leak along the edges. The interior is beautiful, soft, and fits my guitar perfectly.kesims83

Great case, built like a tank. Perfect for travel or moving. Not light. Use soft case for short travels or gigs.shop-8053
I have a lot of guitars and hardshell cases. Best overall case, handle, wheels, 6 latches, I think ran proof. Perfect fit for my PRS TORERO, very secure. Great service, received in 2/3 days.ProudHummingbird-69336
I needed a hard case for my new PRS S2 Custom 24. I first ordered a Gator "wide body" because of the low price. Uh, no thanks. Very lightweight and I had to push the top down to get the guitar to fit in the case. Returned it. Well, since the PRS model case was a bit pricey and I could buy a heavy duty SKB for just a bit more cash, I went with the SKB. It is of superb quality and I would trust it to protect my PRS if I were lost at see in a lifeboat, run over by a Mack truck, attacked by a gorilla, or just about any other disaster. It is incredibly sturdy, water proof, four latches, including two TSA locks, and the guitar fits in it perfectly with a rather large storage area for your "other stuff". Drawback, however, is that it is significantly larger and heavier than the standard Strat-type case. It even has handles on three sides and wheels on one end! No kidding! If I were going to transport my guitar by plane or truck, or do some heavy road gigging, this would be the unit all the way. If not, I think I would opt for a more "standard type case". That pretty much leaves you with one choice – the PRS case that is made for the guitar. Not nearly as sturdy and expensive for what you get, but certainly more practical. Hope this helps. P.S. I gave it 5 stars because this case certainly fits its description and is of premium quality.Reeder

Reviews:
If you need a case for your Strat style guitar this is the one. It's light weight, compact, and well made. I tossed my old worn out gig bag in the garbage. I'll be ordering a second case for a Strat I just purchased over the holidays. I ordered this case for a Strat that I use at church. The gig bag I used had worn out and I wanted to have a bit more protection for my Strat. I was amazed at the durbability of this guitar case. First, the heavy-duty zippers work in both directions and don't get caught on the corners. Both zippers stop at the rear of the case allowing the case lid to open all the way. Second, the case lid had a strap that kept the lid open. I have other cases that the lid keeps closing as you try to take out the guitar without the lid wacking into it. Inside I was delighted to see a nice soft bed to lay my Strat into. The material was black in color and not to fuzzy. There is an open compartment to put strings, strap and a slide bottle into. My only beef is that this is an open area of the case next to the guitar bed and I worry about my slide bottle getting lose and banging into the guitar. I think when the lid is closed it prevents anything from moving out of the open compartment area. So far nothing has moved around. Third, and most important, my Strat fits in the case perfect with no wiggle. The headstock and guitar body fit snuggly into the injected foam case like a glove. With the lid closed the guitar does not bang around inside the case. An added plus in my book. Fourth, I noticed that this case is a bit shorter, probably 3/4 size of a regular Strat case. This smaller size makes the case lighter and easier to carry. Lastly, There are numerous zippered pockets on the outside of the case for cords, strings, picks and other stuff. This is handy when you don't want to have to open the case each time to get out something you need. Best of all, there are two heavy-duty shoulder straps on the back side of the case that make carrying this case on your shoulders a breeze. I use the handles on the case. Value wise this case is a steal. At $65 you'd be hard pressed to find another case half as good for twice the amount. Inexpensive, lighweight and well made I give this case five stars. I'll be buying a second one as soon as I finish this review. Even though it's made in China, and everything seems to be these days, this is a well made, well thoughtout guitar case. Thanks SKB. This is the best deal I've ever seen at MF
Nicer bag than I had honestly expected. Supports the instrument better than some hard cases I have had. Decent straps. I have no reason to think the zippers will fail, but that is my only concern about this case. I like this case.Keay
I like this case a lot and use it every week for almost all my guitars. I bought it for a Tele style guitar I built from selected parts I purchased. It is not long enough and I had to cut out some to fit the headstock. It also hits the pickup selector switch. The description should include all the interior dimensions instead of just a list of guitars. Beyond that it is light weight strong and works well.TonyKor

Reviews:
This case does not fit a Gibson Flying V in a safe way. I have a 2019 Gibson Flying V and the guitar fits in the case with about 3 inches of room on either the top or bottom of the case because it will slide front to back. I have closed the case and gently shifted it to see if the guitar shifts while the case is sealed and it will. This case would not protect the guitar in any form of travel.Tony
I bought this product because I read it would be the best case for my Jackson RRXMG (24 fret). The case is very nice and super sturdy. I really like the way the latches are designed because I feel they're a bit harder to open than traditional locking fasteners. All that being said the guitar fits, but the headstock does hover a bit and the neck gets pushed when you close the case completely. Also the interior compartment is a bit small so don't expect put any type of musical book in there. Overall I'm pleased because my guitar is still protected.Epic Axe Man
SKB is known for making really good cases; I own a couple of their other models for other pieces of equipment and I love them. This case shows a good effort by SKB, but there is one problem with it. The way the hinges are positioned on the case, it makes it really easy for them to become weak and break off; one of them is just about to blow out on my case. This case used to be the only option for a v-shaped hard-shell guitar case, so it didn't make much of a difference, but now I would recommend a TKL case; especially if you own a Gibson Flying V. TKL makes the hard-shell cases for Gibson guitars, so you can guarantee that it will work for your Flying V. The quality of the TKL also seems a bit better too. Bottom line: if you can find a TKL case, GET IT!, if not, this is probably a good second place option, but beware of the hinges.

Reviews:
If you are willing to spend big dollars on a special bass, this is the case to protect your "baby". SOLID – 4 quality latches and a handle placed to balance your item while in hand. I bought this as soon as I discovered they existed. Don't be confused with their similar case – you want the 4 latch PRO. It protects my Fender Victor Bailey and worth every penny.Mac McDermott
This case is crazy fortified, seriously want to toss it off a building just to see how strong this thing is. Could probably use it as a shield if I ever had to go to war. Money well spent!
Great product! Very well constructed case…and fits my Jazz bass perfectly, with space enough for the essentials … what was great was the fast shipping and excellent prices from AMS!!Chris D
