The 15 series 000-15sm mahogany auditorium acoustic guitar improves on a previous model known as the 000-15s. the 15 series 000-15sm shares the same all-mahogany body with slotted headstock as its predecessor but now comes with a morado fingerboard and bridge, real rosette, improved fretboard inlays, and nickel tuners with butterbean nobs. this small-bodied guitar harkens back to an earlier time before the invasion of the dreadnought. it features a 12-fret body design that offers up plenty of woody tone and volume, in spite of its compact size. this is a great guitar for fingerpickers or anyone looking to acquire an instant classic. includes case.

You've seen prettier guitars of this era and this model, but none of them this affordable. replaced bridge, tuners, refinished.

– year of construction: 1999 – scale length (mm): 650 – nut width (mm): 52 – action (mm): ~3.5 mm for the 6th string-12th fret – top: spruce – back / sides: csa rosewood or brazillian rosewood – sound: projection, tone – condition: good the guitar is in good condition with no crack, but there are lots of nail marks on the sound board. if it bothers you, a re-polish may fixed the issue. the bracing is typical simon marty radial bracing, this guitar was compared with another 2008 simon marty and the design was identical. sound sample is available for this guitar upon request (please serious buyer only). it comes with a humicase case. i tried to capture the small marks on the guitar, but overall it is in a good condition.

This martin 1-28 was made in the usa in 1903. we have been told that the martin ledger indicates this guitar was "stamped" may 14, 1903 and was sold to f. kimkel of nazareth pa on february 12, 1904, and it was sold at a discounted rate because of some "cracks on the back" presumably in the finish. the bridge and saddle are not original and there are some repaired cracks. additionally, the neck has been professionally reset. the guitar is in excellent playing condition and sounds beautiful. we believe the finish is original, but cannot be complete sure due to this guitar's age. it comes with a non original hard case.
