Overall: This strap is really long. I have a 70 inch wingspan and even making it as short as possible my guitar sits a little lower than I’d like. I do wear my guitar a little higher than most (I also play classical so I like to put my electric in a similar position) so unless your wingspan is longer than mine or if you’re comfortable with your guitar below your waist I wouldn’t recommend it. It does look nice and seems to be of good quality tho.

Well, the belt looks different than on photo that is used on all the shops for this PRS strap. There is no warm yellow-greeny, but more of blue and gray. The leather is very dark brown-gray, the buckle and rivets are of a lame chromy stainless steel but not brass. The blue is cold. The gold thread is glossy but not warm yellow. The strap itself is made of something like cotton perhaps but it is thick, heavy and rough. It will last longer than a typical guitar player. I think this is not neccessary, my thinner pure cotton soft Levys-Fender strap is worn out but survived more than 20 years. I dont think that a hippie in 1968 would buy this strap after grabbing it for a few seconds in a music store. I cant use it either.fedor_57

PRS straps are my favorite. The leather ends are secure but not ridiculously hard to maneuver over a strap button. They're also soft and don't "squeak" as they move around the button like cheaper straps I've bought. I use PRS straps on my steel string PRS acoustic guitar and on a nylon string Cordoba. Seriously, this is a beautiful guitar strap. I've fitted it with strap locks and put it on my Olympic White American Pro and it's just the perfect finishing touch. It's really soft and supple right from new and looks as good as it feels. It's WELL worth the price and although it might look like a bit of a gamble, trust me it's one that pays off. I've been stoked all day after getting this and putting it on my guitar. I've attached a photo. For those that are interested, the black plastics kit was 18, the scratchplate 27 and the Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Humbuckers were 80 each. They still sound exactly like a Strat should, maybe with little more guts but they don't lose any of the essential sound of the Strat. They are however completely silent in positions 1, 3 and 5 and well worth the money in terms of build and sound quality and if 60 cycle hum is something you want to avoid they are a great solution. I think it all looks great together as a combo and the strap just finishes it all off perfectly. Thank you, I'm really happy my No.1 Guitar looks and feels so good now.j-pmet-b0eu9xcro

Schön weich, verteilt das Gewicht gut, ist jedoch natürlich nicht gepolstert. Für eine schwere Les Paul vielleicht eher einen teureren gepolsterten Ledergurt. Ansonsten nichts zu beanstanden. I have 2 Levy guitar straps and love both of them. I recently purchased the 3 inch black leather strap and love it. Played 3 hours last night with friends and didn't feel any discomfort on my shoulder…very comfortable and quality soft leather on the outside as well as the inside of the strap. Many straps that I had looked at and tried on had a swede like material on the inside of the strap and would rub against my shirt…not very comfortable. What I like about this strap is that it is a solid strap (3 inches wide throughout the strap and tapers gradually to where you connect to your guitar. Many straps aren't tapered and you have a thin strip of leather where you connect to your guitar that presses against your back which over time is very uncomfortable. The price is alittle on the high side but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, I would highly recommend the Levy 3 inch leather strap.Hetz

I bought this in Chestnut for a Blueridge Historic series acoustic guitar and it matches up with it very well. It is 2" wide and quite soft. The leather on the finished side has nice color and character, like the picture shows. The reverse side is tan with enough texture to keep the guitar in place. I have an ebony endpin and D'Addario round strap button (neck heel). The strap went on with reasonable effort, but I found that due to its softness, the endpin occasionally slipped off (when picking the guitar up and thankfully never hit the floor). I bought two rubber washers, placed between the strap and the outside lip of the buttons, at the local hardware store (3/8" ID x 3/4" OD) for under a buck – problem completely solved. I really like this strap, kind of like a worn in pair of jeans. It looks great and the 2" width is comfortable for the relative light weight of an acoustic guitar.C-ville Brent
I purchased this strap in black/white reversible. Technically, that's true, I guess. However, there is a huge "MADE IN CANADA" stamp on the white side near the end. So, in my mind, it really isn't reversible. Tacky! Other than that, it is a good strap. I almost sent it back, but I can just use the black side.DJA
