This used gibson les paul is in excellent condition and is a limited edition black knight model which features a quilted maple top covered in a translucent smoke-black satin finish. featuring a weight-relieved mahogany body and a solid satin-finished mahogany neck, this lp also comes loaded with gibson ’57 classic and ’57 classic plus humbuckers, a nashville-style tune-o-matic bridge and locking grover tuners. the guitar’s ebony fingerboard sports an asymmetric compound radius for ease-of-play and comes with 22 medium-sized frets for easy string bends. meanwhile, a graphtech nut combines with the locking tuners for improved tuning stability. matte-black hardware completes the blacked out aesthetic of the dark knight les paul, while push-pull split-coil and phase options enhance its versatility. serial number is 127390101. also includes a deluxe case.

Gibson les paul refinished to an amber finish with only a few coats of lacquer to keep it more resonant. it was originally black but later paint dipped to a horrible swirled bowling ball finish. i didn't want to interfere with the serial number etc. so i left some of the original neck/headstock finish for the next owner to remove or not. i'll probably put on some fresh strings. i measured the output on both pickups and they are the same but the neck pickup is much lower in sound when switched on. i don't believe the pickups are original as they have no markings. the pots are the small 500 k pots as shown. i will be getting the issues repaired. update: no word yet from the luthier yet, 11/13/22, i getting installed p90s (unknown brand) & resolving any other issues. will be posting new pics when completed. should be completed soon. guitar info #02513669 your guitar was made at the nashville plant, tn, usa on september 8th, 2003 production number: 369

Concord are a japanese label that existed from the late 1960s to the mid 1970s. this guitar is from around 1975 or so. they produced the usual copies of the us built guitars and a few funky originals. they are well made guitars that stand the test of time.this guitar has a lovely maple top with nice grain on a mahogany pancake back. rosewood fretboard plays really well – slick with minimal fretware. not too heavy – just under 4kg. the pickups sound fantastic (early maxon?) , and really scream with distortion/ overdrive. a garage rock , punk killer! everything works fine with no structural issues and it has been well set up with daddario 10-46. one of the saddles on the bridge has been replaced and i am waiting for a matching cream pickup mount to be delivered. no major damage just minor marks, bumps and scratching typical of a well cared for guitar almost 50 years old. pickup and inspection is available at point frederick (1hour from sydney)nsw or i can courier australia wide well …
