This is the last fretboard conditioner you will ever need to buy. i'm a 35+ year classical guitar player and have always struggled with preventing the guitar fretboards from drying out. even with regular oiling, dry weather would eventually win out. i'm also a lifelong woodworker and luthier am very familiar with the products available to help protect wood. after years of searching for a fretboard oil that would protect in addition to hydrate, i finally decided to make my own blend based on what i've learned through woodworking as well as playing. what i came up with is a custom blend of pharmaceutical grade mineral oil, lemon oil, and pure beeswax that will protect your investment for years to come. pure beeswax is the missing link to longer lasting protection. there are many oils available, but i found the beeswax to be the key to longer protecting and sealing the wood in a natural way that would help slow the drying out process. the idea of beeswax occurred to me as all the tonewood sellers would paint the ends of their boards with wax while drying them out. the wax naturally slowed the movement of moisture to prevent boards from cupping, twisting, or warping. having this same protection on your finished guitar only makes sense. i've been using this homemade formula on several of my high-end guitars (a real hauser iii, and an eric sahlin) for years and love it. give it a try, i think it will be the last conditioner you will need to buy.
