This strap works perfectly for me. I have a Martin D-15m (early Xmas from wife). I'm 6'2 and wide shoulders. I do hold my guitar kind of high. If you are taller you may need a longer strap. It's breaking in quite nicely. Sweetwater always gets 10/10 form me!!!

Wanted a leather strap for my Martin guitar so after looking at several straps I bought the Martin branded. Leather is soft to touch but stiff enough that it keeps it shape on the guitar. Strap does not slip around on your shirt but is pretty easy to adjust for your playing style. One word of caution check the strap you are using now in length as this could be a problem with some players. I have to use it fully extended for the way I like for the guitar to set on my body. The strap wasn't what I was expecting. The Martin logo is basically an indention in the the leather. Would expect more from Martin. The biggest downside, the leather is soaked in some type oil or perservative, that smells like used motor oil. I have been leaving it out in open air trying to see if it will tone down a bit. Seriously, this is a beautiful guitar strap. I've fitted it with strap locks and put it on my Olympic White American Pro and it's just the perfect finishing touch. It's really soft and supple right from new and looks as good as it feels. It's WELL worth the price and although it might look like a bit of a gamble, trust me it's one that pays off. I've been stoked all day after getting this and putting it on my guitar. I've attached a photo. For those that are interested, the black plastics kit was 18, the scratchplate 27 and the Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Humbuckers were 80 each. They still sound exactly like a Strat should, maybe with little more guts but they don't lose any of the essential sound of the Strat. They are however completely silent in positions 1, 3 and 5 and well worth the money in terms of build and sound quality and if 60 cycle hum is something you want to avoid they are a great solution. Sound: The sound quality is excellent. While not my personal favorite, the Greenback speaker sounds very good. The amp tone is very responsive to touch and the volume knob on the guitar. This is a good strap for keeps. I might have exchanged it for a darker color but I think it will suit my Taylor with Ovangol body, as the color is close. It is quite strong to hold a Les Paul but I prefer the ones with the tooled end as seems to have some extra thickness at the ends. Would help if they can make it slightly shorter but with some manupulation we could reduce the length of it if necessary. The feautures are great.Soft suede type leather & the color may be more suitable for acoustic guitar I guess as it seems more on the brighter side & may stabd out on your shirt a bit too much. Someone said the length was too long but I found it just a little over the average strap, which can be good for different types of guitars. Gave it a 7 since the color may be too bright & the leather a tad too soft, but I doubt it would wear out soon & can stand for long. Good. You can't beat that price for sure. I bought this in Chestnut for a Blueridge Historic series acoustic guitar and it matches up with it very well. It is 2" wide and quite soft. The leather on the finished side has nice color and character, like the picture shows. The reverse side is tan with enough texture to keep the guitar in place. I have an ebony endpin and D'Addario round strap button (neck heel). The strap went on with reasonable effort, but I found that due to its softness, the endpin occasionally slipped off (when picking the guitar up and thankfully never hit the floor). I bought two rubber washers, placed between the strap and the outside lip of the buttons, at the local hardware store (3/8" ID x 3/4" OD) for under a buck – problem completely solved. I really like this strap, kind of like a worn in pair of jeans. It looks great and the 2" width is comfortable for the relative light weight of an acoustic guitar.C-ville Brent
I purchased this strap in black/white reversible. Technically, that's true, I guess. However, there is a huge "MADE IN CANADA" stamp on the white side near the end. So, in my mind, it really isn't reversible. Tacky! Other than that, it is a good strap. I almost sent it back, but I can just use the black side.DJA
