This guitar has a solid sitka spruce top with solid east indian rosewood sides and back, a tried and true tonewood pairing that provides projection, depth and balance. the x scalloped bracing allows the top to vibrate more freely than standard bracing techniques, resulting in a lively, loud tone with great clarity. the modified v neck is very cozy in every position. along with the 1 3/4 nut width and slightly shorter than average 24.9 scale length, this guitar is a dream to play. bending is easy and vibratos come out smoothly and expressively. the solid black ebony on the fretboard has a precise, fast feel and it also provides a nice contrast to the 1935-style sunburst finish on the body. other standout features include open-geared tuners with butterbean knobs, polishes gloss finish, fine herringbone rosette compensated bone saddle.

Cf martin 000-16gt acoustic guitar martin serial number dates this instrument to 2015. plays great and sounds fantastic. this guitar is in great shape with only some very light cosmetic wear. original hard case included. an excellent guitar for folk or fingerstyle. the 000-16gt acoustic guitar features the 000 or auditorium platform, a smaller body version of the d-16gt, which incorporates modern guitar specifications with the famous martin quality and sound. the solid mahogany back and sides complement the solid sitka spruce top finished in a polished gloss. the smaller auditorium body size, full scale length, and modified low oval neck make the 000-16gt a very comfortable guitar to play, particularly for smaller hands.

For sale is this excellent workhorse martin j-15-12. it features an all mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and a k&k pickup. dark tone, beautiful shimmering sound. cosmetic condition is quite good. there is a repaired headstock break which is visible in the rear view photos; it was professionally fixed at hoffman guitars in minneapolis and is quite solid.
