Martin has partnered with the woodstock foundation to celebrate one of the most historic moments in music history with this special dx woodstock 50th anniversary model. this guitar features colorful custom artwork by robert f. goetzl replicating elements from the original, famed festival poster from 1969. this x series d-14 model produces the rich, dynamic sound and look that has made martin the choice of many artists who played at woodstock. it pairs a high-pressure laminate top with mahogany-grained high-pressure laminate (hpl) back and sides and includes fishman sonitone electronics. the dx woodstock 50th anniversary dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar model includes sustainable wood-certified parts.case sold separately.

A truly outstanding 000, this was purchased new less than a year ago. i had it setup by a local luthier, and it plays incredibly well. sounds amazing, and the k&k pure mini now in it is a perfect match for this guitar. if you have done any research, the pure mini is practically a legend of a pickup, yet requires no batteries. i have been using this guitar and pickup plugged directly into a boss acoustic singer pro, and the sound has been incredible. i previously used a baggs sound hole pickup, and if you look carefully you can see a little bit of "rash" where that was mounted. you will also see the tiniest "chip" by the input jack. both of these are hard to see, but i wanted to be accurate with my description. the guitar plays and sounds amazing. the only reason i am selling is that i recently purchased a dread as my main guitar, so as much as i want to hang on to this one, i have to let it go.

The martin d-35 woodstock 50th anniversary dreadnought was decorated with beautiful inlays about 50 years woodstock festival. the inlays were designed after the original image banners of the first woodstock festival.the top of the martin d-35 woodstock was made of solid stitka spruce and fitted with a vintage toner. the back and sides were made of solid east indian rosewood. the ebony fingerboard has an antique white binding. the rosewood headstock was decorated with the original woodstock banner from 1969. the martin d-35 woodstock 50th anniversary comes with original martin case and certificate.each acoustic guitar is tested and set in our workshop for acoustic guitars.
