Got this for my daughter for her birthday when it originally came out last year before there were reviews. We were super excited but when we got it the quality was awful. Standard and bluetooth play if you continually strum the music only plays every couple seconds then stops no matter what. Its very annoying and frustrating. Would have been okay if the bluetooth kept just playing the music whether the child strummed or not. My daughter would much rather play on her puppy guitar that actually plays built in songs that doesn’t constantly stop.Disappointed
My grandchild had to have this guitar. She saw it online and immediately wanted it. The color is vivid and it has more features than others I have saw. Be sure to save the box it came in as it can be used to store it in. It closes with Velcro . She hasn't done the blue tooth option yet ( it has 4 play options to choose from) but I'm sure it will work fine. She has already serenaded half the neighborhood using it outside lol. I read bad reviews and still hoped for the best. This barely plays and none of the other modes work, only the first option. And the music plays for a few seconds and doesn’t react to strumming. It is so easy to use, and connects seamlessly to his phone or iPad. The note transmission from the jamstik+ to my Iphone or tablet is instantaneous. He is a big fan of the guitar learning app called Yousician. So he connects the jamstik to my phone. That way, the phone can play the notes he plays and he can see where his fingers are on the frets, meanwhile his iPad runs the yousician app and he can play along with the lessons since he can hear the notes that are coming out of his iPhone. I swear I bought the Loog mini for my daughter even though I find myself playing it quite often. The build quality is great. It doesn’t feel like a toy at all. The guitar itself is quite nicely built, but the app, which is supposed to help your kids learn the chords etc. is demoralizingly bad. It's hard to explain to a 5 year old why, after following the daily items (tune your guitar, practice some chords etc.) they don't get the points for completion. As a software engineer, I fail to see why it's okay to leave this basic functionality broken. Furthermore, the app appears to be abandonware. I see no updates or fixes. The 'Games' section has been 'coming soon' for months. The app should be removed from the site as a selling point, since it is basically broken. My Storybots fan, my 3 year old son, adores this. It is well made, my only critique is that the design makes it a bit awkward for any left handed kids to play it, which my son is. Nevertheless it is great for the car, bringing a little Storybots energy with us wherever we go! My son LOVED this StoryBots Guitar . He loved that alot of the handles and knobs on the guitar tuned and moved so he could rock with it and learn his A to Z alphabet also . This guitar has 2 play modes that are great for young kids. My son especially loves the wammy bar to get him jamming on the guitar . He loves to sing along and try to learn the letters to the alphabet also. This guitar also teaches Phonics too so it's a win win in any mode your child chooses . My toddler loves music so the guitar was a perfect gift for him. I think any toddler loves pressing buttons and thats what got my child's attention the most. The packaging says it's for ages 3+ but I disagree with that. I dont see how a 4 year old would play with that. I would say it's a toddler toy. This is a nice little toy that is good for small children, my 4 year old got bored with it after about 5 minutes and has not gone back to it since. My 15 month old spent more time on it, he enjoyed pushing the buttons and hearing the various sounds. Aside from pushing buttons there is not a whole lot more to do with this toy. My kids do not watch blues clues so that could possibly be why they have not gotten more use out of it/ the toy itself functions in all the ways it is advertised as doing.Missmomma

I’m not a huge fan of the automatic off. It goes off after only a minute or two and you have to move the power switch back and fourth to start it up again. It would be better if pressing any key would reactivate after it goes into silent mode. My baby will go back and fourth between toys so I always have to get up and move the power switch for her. (In fairness, she is a few months under the recommended age). Other than that annoying feature, this toy is cute as a button and all babies love musical toys.Ames87

The new Zoo Jamz Tiger Rock Guitar by VTech is so much fun to play with. There are so many different songs, melodies, and animal sounds to hear with 3 different guitar styles to choose from. I really like how you can sync the Together in Tune instruments with one another. My older kids will join in with the younger kids so they can all play together. When you push buttons, it lights up. It has several modes so there is something for all ages. I like that it is a stringless guitar. We have gone through several guitars over the kids and this one appears to be a winner with its durability. I like how I can quickly wipe down the surfaces. This Together in Tune Guitar is super fun. I really like how it features the animal characters that my kid loves and remembers from other toys. The guitar has buttons and a swiping guitar motion area. Plus the stick near the center to make the music more jazzy. The songs and beats sound really clear and the volume keys are perfect.
