this is high quality bag.i love it thank youjdaddario-us
Overall: I bought the wine red bag. The bag looks great, it has plenty of pocket space, with one pocket big enough for a 3 ring binder or a lap top. The shoulder straps a very comfortable even with a Les Paul weighing it down. My only complaint about the bag is if you are looking for something with plenty of padding this isnt the bag for you. But for the price it's not bad.

Reviews:
It's a solid case for storage and short trips. I read the good and bad reviews and most were on point. The short time I've had it I've only noticed 2 real deficiencies. The first being the fact it needs extra padding under the body to level it up and reduce neck strain. The second being it could use a fourth latch either on the bottom round near the hinge side or the neck opposite the others. This would even strain on the lid.Fat Jack
I'm venturing a guess that this is 5-ply construction, though it's not stated in the specs. It feels as solid and weighs as much as my other 5-ply case. Three latches and none of them lock so there is no key. However, the middle latch is on a hasp so you can use own small padlock. It has the standard plastic handle you see on most quality wooden cases. The fit and finish is flawless. The interior lining is adequate, soft and a dark blue. It fits my Blue Burst Firefly semi-hollow body guitar like a glove.c-cat1
So far I haven’t used this case too much, but from the couple of gigs that I have played with it it’s held up beautifully. Seriously is worth the investment to get real protection for my semi hollow Ibanez, which are more susceptible to damage. So a great case that seems to have good build quality.

Reviews:
The bass fits very nicely in this bag. To me, one of the strong selling points of this item is the three pockets on the front. great for the strap, tuner, extra chords and items. Good handles and backpack straps The zipper appears to be sturdy but as noted in another review, has no flap to protect the Bass from being scratched. It is very lightweight rugged fabric with very minimal padding. I would consider this more for storage than serious gigs. would work fine for the occasional outing. All said and done, it is a keeper. Definitely a value for the price.Pete the bassman
I needed a case for my daughters x-mas present, an Epiphone Les Paul special. I was trying to be thrifty because good gig bags are expensive and these were on sale for really cheap. I figured since this gig bag was for a miKro bass, it would be long enough for a normal guitar. I wasn't sure if it would fit, so my plan was to give my daughter my current gig-bag if her guitar wouldn't fit into this ibanez miKro gigbag. Then I would just use the Ibanez miKro gigbag for my travel guitar -which I have no problem hacking up to fit. Well, the Ibanez miKro came and it is of great quality. There are three great pockets for storage, shoulder straps, padding'o'plenty, and it is long enough for a normal guitar. It is NOT wide enough for a normal guitar. I could not close the zipper with either an epiphone les paul special, or a squier strat inside. So I had to go with my backup plan. I gave my daughter my travel guitar gig-bag and I cut a little wood off of my travel squier strat so it would fit inside the ibanez miKro bass gig bag.KC
Nice padded gig bag. I especially like the external reinforcement with feet on the bottom end. I had the end strap button on another bass eventually poke through the end of the gig bag for that bass. It won't happen with this bag! I also like the 3 outside compartments. One is big enough for music books! And shoulder straps are always appreciated.B-Man

So far so good in weather conditions
It bugged me that there are so few photos of this bag online, because now that I have it – it looks really good. It doesn't have huge Ibanez logo all over the cover, which may be good if you care about minimalistic looks. Quality is good, I like the way parts are sewed together, also backpack straps and vertical handle look like they will last. Padding is okay, it's there – this bag has it, it's not just a dust cover, but I used other bags for equipment with better padding (and higher price). In terms of features the bag has plenty of pockets for accessories, not like other branded bags for the same price with zero pockets for example. Great item for the price.

The case holds an Iceman body perfectly. It's a good snug fit with out making the case so wide it starts to get bulky (like a a gibson explorer case). I gave 4 stars because it's not the most sturdy case I've owned (certainly not the most flimsy either) and the latches are the not the best (sometimes it takes two tried to get them aligned to latch correctly). Still, overall a good case. Time will tell how well it holds up…Tony M
Fits the Paul Stanley Cracked Mirror Iceman guitar perfectacegibson77
Case is not molded to the guitars shape but if holds if fairly well. I comes with a loose extra padded blocking that I slid under the neck where it rests. I assumed that's where it goes. It seems to stop the guitar from moving. Not sure why it's not attached. Decent but overpriced. In my opinion it should run no more than $125. But its hard to find a case for this guitar so they've got there.Rocket

The only gripe I have is it is a little too snug for my Guitar ( which is supposed to be made for ) that's why I didn't give it five stars, although it got four. Tight is good but there is no padding at the top and it's very tight all the way to the top which scares me. If it had a little better padding at the top I would've kept it, but I returned it and got a hardshell case for $50 more. I haven't got the hardshell case yet. I'm sure they'll ask me to review it.Art
I purchased the power pad gig bag for using to transport a Modern Fender Duo-Sonic between two homes as we live in a condo but on week-ends we have a small beach cottage 65 miles away. My main reason was to protect the guitar but not have to carry a heavy case back and forth from condo lot or from street parking at the beach as those distances are not close. I had heard the Ibanez bag was void of logos and offered protection and storage and was light weight and also fit a multitude of Electric guitars. I can verify it fits Stratocasters, Telecasters, Duo-Sonics and Jaguars so pretty much anything of that size will fit. I like the Army green color with brown trim as it is very generic and I don't need anyone to know what guitar is in the bag. I walk these places from my car on foot so a big Fender logo just isn't as safe especially at night in the City. The bag itself is very well constructed with a very strong canvas type fabric and a great selection of zippered pockets with shoulder strap and handles. It is very substantial for the price and offers what I would call just enough padding without becoming too heavy to handle. I would recommend it for this type travel but I am not certain it would be enough protection for air travel. All in all it is very reasonably priced and offers a lot a bang for the buck much more so than other bags in this price range.Spencer

It does the job. The appearance is a bit cheap but time will tell…Mr. B
Overall: it is a good case. the price at zZounds was better than at other online places. my guitar fits in it as it was advertised, but there were some little/small things about the case that I thought could have been done. One thing was the small latch that is used to open the little storage compartment in the case. It is cheap plastic, which is not a bid deal, but on other cases that I've owned it was leather. The other small item was the nylon strap toward the bottom of the case near the back. On most other cases I would not have to pay attention to it when closing the case. On this case, it is kind of flimsy (not too big a deal), which seems to cause it to fold out of the case when closing instead of folding in toward the case. This means that unless I make sure it folds in when closing the case, the nylon strap will fold out and will stick outside the case after closing.Ray
This item was what I expected. It's not the kind of case you'd pay multiple hundreds of dollars for, but it does the job it's designed to do and does it well. What I really want to mention is the great customer service I received from Sweetwater. Some mutual mistakes–some by me, one by Sweetwater, led to a flurry of communications and returns. The Sweetwater people were unfailingly helpful and polite.

Reviews:
Beautifully designed and very attractive. It is perfect for short-term transportation of a Fender guitar. Well padded, with pockets for carrying extras. Excellent value for such a reasonable price. I love my Fender Telecaster and American Stratocaster, and I trust this gig-bag to keep them safe in short-term usage: taking to gigs or carrying the guitar personally. Obviously, for journeys where the guitar might be in the hold of an aeroplane or a van/bus, a hard case would be preferable, but if you are transporting a guitar personally, then this great-looking bag does the job brilliantly. Very highly recommended.5110nigel
Perfect fit for Telecaster – just snug enough. Padding is adequate for general use – glad I chooses 10mm over 5. Pockets hold cable, extra strings and picks but full size sheet music and such must be folded. Comfortable handles, good zippers, and backpack straps are padded and comfortable. This case has a narrow profile which stores easily. Materials are of high quality and appear durable. Grabbing case by top can cause tuners to move causing need for re-tune.geri-82
At first glance it looks pretty minimal, but I wanted something lightweight for a guitar that would be carefully handled–by me. Although the padding is quite thin, it has a nice heft to it and provides better cushioning than some bags I've used that are much thicker. Also, it fits a Strat like a glove, and the padding is in all the right places, so there's no flopping around inside the bag, so the guitar is really very well protected. There's only an outside accessory pocket, but big enough for a strap and extra strings. If you need a lot of features or think the guitar will be handled roughly, then maybe this isn't for you. But for most players, it's a nice bag, very light in weight and provides very good protection if you use some common sense…Lefty

Last year I purchased an Epiphone guitar as a gift and now needed a case. I sent a quick email to Zach (world's best customer service) and he led me right to this case. It is a perfect, snug fit and the finishes are beautiful. The navy lining is plush and the clasps are tight. Highly recommend!
It fits perfectly my Ibanez Artcore AF75 Red-sunburst. I'm a happy customer because I bought the case for that exact reason. I'm the type of person who does not like to take the straps off the guitar, and this case allows me to continue doing exactly that. The compartment is big enough to add some accessories, but most importantly I feel that the guitar is protected. the latch for the lock is not the nicest one of all my guitar cases — look closely in the picture — you would need a little pad-lock, similar to the ones you use for your luggage. No big deal, I just wanted to have a case to avoid my guitar become a dust bunny heaven. If you're an AF Series Artcore owner, this is a must-have.BeeZee
I use cases mostly for home atmospheric storage i.e. from humidity variations. First impression: the inside smells WONDERFUL – very pleasant and inviting. Though this is the specified case for Ibanez jazz boxes, at first I thought that the guitar (an AF71F) wouldn't fit inside. It seemed like the case waist was too small. However, there is some 'give' to the lining and with some firm, but gentle, pressure the guitar went inside … snug, though … like a hand in a glove. That's better than a case letting the instrument jostle around. TKL makes these cases for Ibanez branding, as well as for other brands. It's a fine case for a reasonable sum i.e. compared to the alternatives. The chromed fittings seem of nice quality, too. No hesitation recommending these cases.Discoveror

12. Gator Gbe-Elect Electric Guitar Gig Bag
Product Details:
Easily handled and ready for the road, this electric guitar gig bag from gator cases offers all the mobility and protection needed by any musician. features of this gig bag include an external pocket and adjustable backpack straps. this gig bag has an overall length of 38.25" and a lower bout width of 15".
Reviews:
I give this bag only 3 stars because unless Gator upgraded the bag or is making it in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase. I bought one of these for a Sterling by Music Man bass as I was under the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). As the photos indicate, this bag will work for a Fender P Bass, but the Fender FB620 is a better bag for that and other Fender bass guitars while presently costing 10 less than the Gator while offering better protection and features. The Gator GB-4G seems to be more of a universal fit bag accommodating a wider range of sizes. The thing it seemed to have going for it the most was its zipper which seemed heavy duty. I say "seemed" because I returned the bass and so the bag as well.Vice
I bought a used guitar for back porch jamming. Needed a gig bag that didn't cost more than the guitar ,but would keep it safe and clean. Stopped at Sam ash because I was certain they had a variety of gig bags. Not my first visit or purchase. The Gator gig bag I chose is the economy for dreadnought guitars by Gator. Great price for my budget and well made. This bag is perfect for my needs. Easy carry and my guitar is covered.Just enough padding in all the right places for my guitar. Also accessory zipper compartment.Lindy
I'm giving this bag only 3 stars on account of the price increase; for it used to cost about 4-5 less than the Fender FE620 but now costs about 10 more than? Unless it has improved features or is being made in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase as the FE620 gig bag provides better protection and features (for Strat size guitars anyway). I purchased one in May 2021 and only because as I was of the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). I should have sized things up beforehand since the Sterling by Music Man Cutlass I bought the bag for is essentially a slightly shorter, slightly sleeker version of a Strat (for which the FE620 was made). The best thing the Gator bag seemed to have going for it was the zipper which seemed rather heavy duty while mesh pockets on the front of a gig bag aren't particularly practical while being subject to tearing/ripping. As you can see by the photos, there's too much room in the bag for a Strat size guitar (though one might be able to insert the headstock into the bag's internal top pocket to prevent the guitar from sliding around too much in the bag). The Gator GB-4G ELEC Series Gig Bag is more of a universal fit bag better suited for guitars longer and/or wider than a Strat.Vice

I still give this a 5star rating. For the price it's excellent. It's very comfortable to carry. The latches are easy to use. It's durable, much better constructed than a case that sells for $30 less that I looked at. It fits my 35" string length MTD 5-string with length to spare. Drawbacks: Obviously no concealed compartment inside so everything is visible when you open it at a gig, so a pouch for those private items is useful. (The lid seals the two aux compartments so things don't fly around loose.) I have to rotate the top tuner flat or the tuner rests on the bottom of the case (something to remember and never forget although not really major). "TSA Approved" implies you'd be flying with this thing… not a custom fit case to careful inner packing would need to be considered, right?Steve
I was looking for a case for my Sterling Ray 34 bass. I saw a previous review on here stating that they bought one for their Ray 34, and that it fit perfectly. So I bought it based on that. It fits darn near perfectly. Nice long neck support. 2 rather large storage compartments. Plush (chocolate colored) interior. And the TSA latches are tight and secure. If your looking for a nice, reasonably affordable case to protect your investment. Don't hesitate to give these cases a shot.Bill
Well the measurements were accurate and there was some padding that helped with enough space for my large bass guitar. A B.C. Rich Mockingbird bass ('84) that has a strange and beautiful shape to it. But many cases don't fit it. Some custom cases are hundreds more than this one and I'm thankful that it fits well. A little tight on the lower horn but it fits! I like the two spaces for misc. stuff. The light is a great added feature but haven't really used it yet. But nice to have it for that situation where you will need it. Its sufficiently different on the outside from a similar model so there is no confusion between my 2 basses.leonardo_rhema

A brilliantly well made high quality guitar case that I specifically purchased for travelling. I often use the electric part of the case for carrying clothes whilst I travelling. Back straps are adequate, strong and comfortable to walk long distance between venues. All together I'm well pleasedTrevor B.
The zippers on these bags are junk. they need to use heavier top notch zippers. the zipper on the smaller compartment areas is too small for real usage. Not sure why they just dont use the larger zipper on EVERYTHING. The a 3 point velcro rings for the tick bag should be 4 point (it sags on the single point if the tick bag is packed). where they strap at the top with 2 points is good, but its a bit wonky on the single strap in the middle because what happens is if you are carrying the guitar by the handle the tick bag sags down at that point a little bit. The guitar bags are kinda spendy but if you've invested into it, then the company should go the extra mile.I just wonder how much these guys have really travelled gig after gig with these bags. They are better than most out there though but also a lot more money too. I just think they need to use better zippers and add better/stiffer sidewalls for the guitar cases. My rig is heavy and wonder how long the guitar bag shoulder straps will last too. They seem sturdy, and so far so good. I play a Les Paul and the case could have stiffer sides for a heavier guitar. If you play a Strat or Tele then you're probably OK. Also, the smaller compartments are pretty much usesless too. they try to compartmenalize everything and all they need to do is keep it simple becuase NOTHING fits into the tight little spaces inside the pockets, unless you carry a lot of pens? I like spaces large enough for a couple extra pre-amp tubes, and slides but most of the inside pocket spaces are way too small for anything except, sharpies, or cable tips? . Someone who designed it must have carried a lot of pens/sharpies around because nothing else fits into them. I'd rather see a single zipper or velco space where you can just stuff everything itno it. Overall its a decent bag and better than most gig bags but these arent inexpensive either. The larger compartment could open a bit wider too. Its pretty small compared to the picture.effective.edge
Hands down this has been the best gig bag i have ever purchased and likely the last until it has to be replaced. I had previous cheaper versions and they were just that, cheap. This MONO bag has been a huge upgrade and im so happy i made the decision to get it. The linning inside makes sure the finish is well protected and the neck strap and support block are such a great insurance knowing guitar is not going to swing around in the space. The storage is great holding all my cable (both 1/4 inch and Kemper pedal cable) In ears, picks, spare strings and even having both guitars loaded (An ESP telecaster and PRS 7 string) its not a bad weight evenly distributed when strapped on your back. Outer shell is extremely well made and looks like its going to stand up to the road well. Bottom has rubber treads to set it on the ground without worry. If your looking at it but are scared of the price dont be, after your first set you will be glad you got itDaniel

Fit and finish are very nice. I suspect it will last longer than the guitar.patric2
Purchased this case in "Brown" and it's beautiful. Very well made and a little lighter than the epiphone brand Case. The gold hinges and latches are stronger than I had anticipated, Should last for years. The interior is solid and covering is just as well made as it's competitors brand, epiphone. It does not carry it't name sprawled in gold ink across the top of the case, yet does have a small metal name plate attached to the side by the handle. You should be well please with this purchase knowing your guitar is well protected. My epiphone Casino fits perfect.kerrymcginnis

I got this case for my Gibson SG Faded thinking it would be nice to have the extra pocket on the outside, a light weight case, etc. Unfortunately, the build quality or possibly the design is flawed as the handle started separating from the body of the case after only a few weeks of usage. It looks like the canvas cover is screwed into styrofoam. Also the handle itself is only a thin piece of material that is very uncomfortable in the hand. I'd recommend spending a few bucks more and getting a hardshell case.Uker
I gave it a 4.5 for features because it doesnt have locks but locks are only put on cases to keep them from coming open and since this has a zipper that doesnt matter. An skb case is better but for double the price. Best quality for the money. My g400 fits perfectly. The interior is very soft so it wont scratch. And it has a lot of padding.djgbsbj
