1. Harmony Comet Hollow Body Electric Guitar Sunburst
Reviews:
I’ve been waiting for the comets to be released I am also a product of Kalamazoo and was looking for a semi hollow. The pictures don’t do these justice. The guitar is double bound and is a glossy metallic dark blue. It fades and looks flat in pictures for some reason. Plus you get coil splitting and locking tuners. It arrived with a suitably low action and was ready to go out of the box. Has a classic look but modern profile — looking forward to playing this for yearsThomas E.
This is, hands down, the best guitar you will find at this price point. This would be a great guitar at $3,000. These are made by Heritage, in Kalamazoo and they are spectacular. Carved mahogany top, nitro finish, stellar quality all around. When you consider there are guitars made under contract for once great American brands in Asia that cost as much as this American made guitar, made in the old Gibson factory, you would be insane not to give one of these a try. Pickups are amazing, from screaming rock and blues to mellow jazz, this guitar is a total sleeper punching way above its weight. Plus, it comes in a $200 padded gig bag, not a cardboard box. Cannot find a single flaw and cannot put it down. I wish I had 4 hands so I could give this four thumbs up. That good. Get one.Mike
Overall: Couldn’t be happier. Made by Heritage in the iconic old Gibson factory. Nitro. Set neck. All mahogany. Etc… It feels “old”.Best out of the box setup I’ve probably ever experienced. Straight neck. Zero buzz. Intonation was spot on. Excellent fretwork. The pickups are spectacular. Are they true gold foils? I can’t say. (I’ve read they’re Alnico III magnets, as opposed to the rubber ceramics that old gold foils utilized.)These pickups come across as a really great PAF style, so the gold foil is perhaps just an aesthetic. They react to the use of your volume/tone controls beautifully. From jazzy cleans to high gain, they excel at everything I’ve thrown at it.Combine everything with a nice Mono gig bag, and you have the best bang for the buck out there, in my opinion.

It's sort of like a LP jr or Melody Maker mixed with a Tele, sounds great and plays real easy.JB
Superb quality, very impressed, everything feels right, great build quality, excellent pickups, very well made indeed, a genuine pro instrument … quality straight out of the box puts other manufacturer’s instruments of a comparable price point to shame .. no set up required, plays beautifully, sounds great, more twang than your average humbucker guitar.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
This guitar is an absolute dream. It's no frills, US made, with excellent attention to detail. The pickups sound warm and full. The frets are polished near flawlessly. And the setup out of the box was on point. Honestly edged out several instruments that were far pricier.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

6. Harmony H-801 Sunburst 1970s
Product Details:
"happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."here for sale is a 1970s harmony electric guitar. if you follow my store or instagram page at all, you know i love the harmony h-800 series. i have probably had over 100 of them. i usually always keep one around as a backup guitar. in the grand history book of electric guitar shapes, this one is by far one of the most under-appreciated.this one is in pretty decent condition given the age, and the one p-90 style pickup sounds great! really full sounding, and they take a little drive or fuzz remarkably well. the action is pleasantly low and it sounds really nice and full. the finish is still shiny for pete's sake; the body is maple, the neck is mahogany and rosewood.the pickguard had a crack in it between the pickup screw hole and the edge of the pickguard, so we epoxied it back together. should be strong forever now. as always, i cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronic…

11. Harmony H-62 Sunburst 1955
Product Details:
Harmony h-62 model arch top hollow body electric guitar (1957), made in chicago, serial # 2560-h62, sunburst lacquer finish, laminated maple body, laminated spruce top; maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case. this is a nice example of a cool if fairly obscure harmony classic, the h-62. in the mid-50's this was one of harmony's top of the line electric guitars. essentially the same as the h-63 espanada without the more badass gleaming black finish and metal edged trim, the h-62 is a more conventionally appointed full-depth 16 1/2" archtop with two pickups and a full gibson-style wiring rig. this is not surprising as the pickups themselves were sourced from gibson, through their parent company cmi. referred to as p-13's, these metal-covered units with adjustable poles were gibson's immediate predecessor to the p-90 first issued in 1940. after wwii, gibson did not employ them again but sold decent numbers to harmony, which used them on their better grade ele…
