The fit and finish of the solid wood is smooth and precise: 4.5/5. I had no issues have the holes for screws line up and the raw wood is sanded smooth almost everywhere safe for a few spots of heavy grain: 4.5/5. While the screws did line up, some pieces attached more precisely than others: 4/5. The instructions to assemble very precise, however, the low quality of the pictures included made for a slight amount of confusion at points. Some clarification would have helped — things like explaining that the back does not actual lean back like it appears to in the photos: 4/5. In the photo the back looks to have a nice amount of leanback to it, but in reality it is closer to vertical. This means rectangular style cases don't fit as well as cases shaped like guitars. In my experience, these cases don't sit well in the stand and wobble around and do not sit securely, but it's resolved if you fill it up full with cases, especially one or two that are guitar shaped (notice how they have them between the guitar shaped cases in the photo… it's probably to hide this.): 3/5. Of my cases, a 2015 Gibson rectangular case will simply not sit in the rack, and my Fender rectangular TSA Strat/Tele case doesn't sit confidently unless the rack is filled. Any Gibson Les Paul Style cases or acoustic cases and gig bags will do quite well otherwise. It holds up to 6 cases and and as long as you have baseboards a half-inch thick or more your guitar cases should hit the wall. Overall a solid B- offering from String Swing, but the caveats and details of this product should be laid out more transparently. Real wood and made in USA. Matches my flooring. I doubt you could buy the materials and make one at this price. I'm currently storing four solid body electric cases and one acoustic case. The is room for one more of either type. It would probably store seven solid bodies or five acoustics. Easy assembly but the instructions were confusing. Tip: Put it together first. Then, partially disassemble to glue. Give the joints a pump spray of water before glueing. The glue needs water to activate. A small line of glue goes a long way. It wil expand to three or four times. You could skip the included glue altogether but it glueing will likely extend the life.Terry
Super easy to assemble, great price, and does the job. I recently purchased to organize my every growing collection of instruments. I needed something that would hold instrument cases of varying size and shape (banjo, mandolin, dobro, lapsteel, etc) but something that was minimal (small apartment) but clean and functional. So far, seems to be doing the job well. Wood has a nice finish and construction is stable and solid. I was slightly worried for the price that it would be junky, but it's not. This works well for my sons zillion legos! The plastic dividers are removable so you can make the compartments whatever size you want. We do often have trouble getting the top on sometimes. I think the tops only fit onto certain bottoms, which is hard to keep track of sometimes – we have three of these and when theyre all separated to access all the lego its trial and error to figure out which ones the tops fit on to put back together. I use the three storage compartments, which can be easily and individually hooked into the string system, in combination with the shelf workstation from String. For example, pens and other small items do not take up any more space on the small worktop and can simply be hung up and stowed away on the side.
The boxes are great. However, the large box does not fit on the 20cm wall ladder, as the distance from the wall to the suspension of the box is too large. So unfortunately we had to send them back. It would be great if the boxes were also available separately, because the small ones fit very well.

It has a little section for earrings and you can fill each individual square with the jewelry of your choosing. I especially love that it has a big mirror when you open it. Product was packed really well, no signs of any damage to the wood. My main complaint is it was missing the two screws to attach the piece the guitar necks cradle in. For the price this is very disheartening. I am lucky enough to have screws and bolts in my garage that worked. Luckily they attached from the back so you can not see that they do not match. I would say a little over priced but it still looks good and serves its purpose. It did clear up the clutter. Keep in mind I had to take straps off the last 3 guitars as it would not fit properly. No biggie. Took me about 40 mins to assemble due to having to hunt down screws to fit.
I wanted a multiple guitar rack which folds into a guitar style case. However, the good ones are way too expensive. This wooden one is solid, attractive, and far less expensive. It's easy to load and unload guitars without bumping. Constructing is quite another matter. I'm well experienced and this one tried my patience. The instructions only have close ups which don't give a good idea of parts orientation. One threaded insert had a slight angle which made base assembly almost impossible. Manufacturer should post an assembly video and do a better QC on parts alignment.Eric
I received 2 of these stands. They are built pretty well, and the wood seems to be of good quality and they do look nice. The angle the guitars sit at is not very good. It is a pain to get them to sit in the stand properly. Also, the protective strip they use barely, and I mean barely is enough to keep the guitars off the wood base, and because of the bad angle, it's extremely easy to smack the guitars on the wood base when trying to seat them in correctly. Even when they are seated properly, they still sit extremely close to the bare wood of the stand, not a very comforting feeling. I will be applying something over the bottom parts of the rack to give better protection, as I'm not currently comfortable using this on my high end guitars. I would not recommend this product in its current form.Erik

I use it to hang my guitar so it is readily accessible, visible in an attractive way and not at risk of being tripped over in a floor stand. It needs to come with the things that go into drywall to screw into for a more secure hold. I'm also unsure how secure the arms that hold the guitar are. Time will tell.None

It’s ok, it scratched my pantry door on the outside where it’s visible to guests. The tracks for the shelves aren’t sturdy they are unstable. I think it’s because of the type of screws they give you, they can’t be tightened enough. The 3m tape won’t work because the tracks are not level with my door. I can’t use all the shelves because they interfere with my door handle, I have levers instead of a knob. The shelves would be better if they had something going across the back so things can’t fall off the shelves. Yes, the door is behind the shelf but because the track is unstable things don’t exactly sit correctly. I would not suggest putting glass or products that can break on the shelves if the tracks don’t sit correctly on your door.Kathy
If you want your items to fall out when someone swings the door open then this is for you. So there is no back to any of the compartments. Any time my husband opens the door, stuff falls out from the back. Or things will fall over and slip through the side whole. Now I have to come up with a plan to make this have no holes. I’ll probably have to buy bins and super glue them to the originalBreb

Works like it is supposed to, but the friction between the winder handle and the key head creates a high pitched squeal when used at high speed. Not a problem once I hit it with WD40. Now it is flawless. Due to its black color, it is not as easy to use in low light settings (e.g., stageside at a show) as others I have used. But it is more natural to grip and hold onto than the shiny spool-handle plastic models.MathMan
