About $10 too pricey but it does what it says it will do. Most of your tuning problems will be be over, especially if you do what I did on my SG… Tusq XL nut, Grover tuners and a Wilkinson roller bridge. That may seem a bit overboard but if you're frustrated enough by tuning issues, you'll try anything. In the end, it was worth it… Ridiculously playable and stable guitar. This is the 3rd action gauge I've purchased, after returning the first two because they were inaccurate. This gauge is accurate and feels solid. My only gripe is what appears to be a typo on the back of the gauge, 'guitar' is spelt 'giutar' three times. The measurements are also etched into the steel, unlike the other gauges where they were printed on. 10 seems steep for a bit it steel with some measurements etched into it, but after trying to cheap out and getting a faulty gauge twice I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.axdx9x

The possibilities are endless with this capo, I love it. It really stays put on the neck, and the levers make it so easy and quick to experiment with new alternate "tunings". I love the fact that the lever spacing is adjustable and slide to fit the string spacings and neck widths on my different guitars. I love playing in open tunings. When I first discovered them as a teenager, I spent hours exploring them and I still do so today. Works great! No problem on both the large, thin tuning knobs, and the smaller, thicker ones. Much better than their guitar winder worked on my basses. The only grumble I can think of is that it gets squeaky when in the middle of winding each string. No problem- even sort of an enjoyable funny sounding squeak, if you are at home. Overall this is a really good product for un-stringing and restringing a bass. The cutter snips the wire quick and clean with little effort, and the winder speeds up the process. the only draw back is depending on the size of your tuning keys it is a bit wobbly so you have to pay attention and move slower then you may initially want to to keep from banging it against other tuning keys or the head stock itself, thus would be nice if it had something to give a bit more grip on the key that reduced the wobble.More Bass
