I purchase the Pedaltrain Classic 2 SC 24×12.5 to make it easier to take my quad cortex to and from my church praise band and my home studio. Great product!! I don't use any stomp boxes but the QC, a mission expression pedal, JHS mini A/B and a direct box for my acoustic fit securely with room to spare. I bought 2 sets of the true fit mounting bracket's to mount a Furman 6 outlet power supply underneath for the QC and JHS and to attach the long power cords on to isolate the power and guitar cables. I did get some rubber amp feet and added them underneath the back rail to add a little depth to the frame due to the depth of the Furman. Now it all stays pre-wired and setup is a breeze! Plug in the power cable, XLR's to the mixer and hook up 3 guitars and I'm ready to jam! if you gig every week you might opt for the hard case but the soft one fits my needs perfectly.
A very well made product, perfect in size, not too big or small, light as they come and solid else as anything out there. The craftsmanship is second to none, couldn’t fault it and it comes with everything you need in preparation for your pedals, includes a lovely soft case which is sufficient for taking it around and a strong velcro. I did not realize there is no incline to this pedal (My fault for not researching further, or looking at the pictures closer?) so that also contributed to my disappointment. The bag it came with fits all the pedals and my cables snugly, so that was good. Other than that not much positive to say. The Joyo Cab Box has to be one of the best value cab IR loaders available, especially considering it's features. Not only has it got a good range of pre-loaded IR's, it also allows you to load up to 10 more of your own IR choices. It also has 128 patches you can edit and create to your hearts content. When combined with the built in pre-amp, microphone and EQ sections that you can also edit extensively, if you can't come up with the sound you are after, I would be astonished. Spoiled for choice really. Additionally it has a good range of I/O's including MIDI, USB and XLR, plus standard 1/4 inch. Only potential negatives from my point of view would be that you cannot use the inbuilt Microphone choices and related settings with the 10 IR's you can self load. Having said that, if you are already happy with the sound of the IR's you are loading, you probably don't need to edit them further in any case I guess. So this is not a deal breaker. Some people may also prefer stereo I/O's. This unit is just mono, but that is fairly common across many cab emulators and mono works fine for me. Personal preference really, but if you use the unit with a modeller such as the Line 6 Pod HD Pro etc., you can use your effect loop to slot the Joyo in before a stereo effect such as reverb splits thesignal anyway. So not a big issue I'd say, but depends what you are trying to achieve. I bought this with the intent of gigging in the near future. While the board and stand are spectacular, my favorite part of this is the isolated power supply. I run a distortion and phase in my chain, and experienced unbearable ground hum from my daisy chain power supply. This isolated power supply completely silenced any ground hum! It comfortably holds my five pedals with plenty of room for growth. If you're an intermediate to professional musician, I HIGHLY recommend this board. You will NOT be disappointed!Alex

At first I was not thrilled with this, but considering most people are not equipped to drive out roll pins, I will let the screw on parts slide. The only complaint I have is, how many sharp edges there are on the casting bosses inside the enclosure, and the poor attempt to grind them smooth. A little thread lock and so far mine are holding up well. I put some Tite Fit boxes in front of one of these and a long one down the side, so I have a Fuzz Face wah combo with Q, dwell and freq peak adjustments. I used double face 3M gum adhesive, on a roll, to adhere the rubber parts and they are not coming off, ever. The wire clamp is a little cheesy, but it just holds the rack against the pinion, and these have a screw that adjusts the rocker tension, so Kudos on that one! Its about time someone made a wah/volume/panning/tone/univibe speed control/tremolo speed control/other control rocker pedal case. I used TAD blemish pedals for my Univibe clones. Shipping from Germany for a flawed product? These are a much better value. Watch out for sharp casting flashing, and be prepared to use a little emory cloth or sand paper here and there to knock off a few sharp edges on those circular shaped casting bits inside the pedals. Remember to wash off the mold release. If you clean these up real good and wipe them down with paint thinner then alcohol, they will take wrinkle paint really well. They will also take hammertone paint well too. The holes are for, "THE GOOD PARTS" like Switchcraft, not the cheesy cheapo parts! GOOD CHOICE ANTIQUE!seb-ear-aaaa
Very happy with the kit. I added a foot controller for my Line 6 500X, so I have my volume and wah on dedicated pedals. I ordered the Dunlop rack and Dunlop gear pot. The rack that came with this kit didn't mesh with the Dunlop geared pot. I pulled the split pin and drilled the Dunlop rack for the screw size and everything meshed very well after that. At full rotational engagement, the rack hit the bottom plate, I sliced off one tooth from the rack end. WAH-WAH !!!dezmoduo
I powder coated this wah enclosure and assembled the main body with no problems – good fit & the surface was fine once I prepped it with steel wool & cleaned it. After assembling the case, though, I found that the rack gear (straight plastic arm which engages the wah pots teeth) doesnt use standard Vox / Crybaby gear spacing …. the teeth are too close together. Added to this, the tension clutch (small white piece which keeps the rack gear in place) was so small that it leaves about 1/4 gap between the clutch & rack. Useless. If you plan on buying one of these cases, make sure you purchase a separate rack & clutch.squatchyeti

I did not realize there is no incline to this pedal (My fault for not researching further, or looking at the pictures closer?) so that also contributed to my disappointment. The bag it came with fits all the pedals and my cables snugly, so that was good. Other than that not much positive to say. I don't see the value for the price I paid, but maybe someone else knows how to utilize one of these much better, and will like it. I like it, because, at the time that I bought this and for what I paid for it, you get a lot of space for pedals compared to other pedal boards in the same price range. Now, when you receive it, you have to put on flat surface to adjust the back legs to where you want it, and make sure you stabilize it so that you don't get wobble. However, while the back pegs are adjustable to a height, and stabilization, I'm probably going to have to use LockTite Blue to keep the nut from moving, over time. The carry bag is nice, the velcro, is adequate. But, since I have pedals, I'm going to measure to use bike pedal links to lock them down, with different sized screw due to how the brackets are made. Pretty easy if you plan ahead.Alexis

Was searching for weeks for a suitable pedalboard and kept worrying about having to buy another one in the future to fit all my pedals, the more I buy. But the XPND 2 is perfect for me because I can keep it small for now and expand the board later when I need to without having a load of empty space, it's perfect! Not only that, it's very well built and I'm confident taking it around with me at gigs. It feels strong and reliable, it could possibly last me forever as I wouldn't go much bigger than the fully expanded size of this pedalboard. Great job D'addario!Alan
Great pedal board, the slots will let you run any size patch cords (I was having to file the holes in my Gator Pedal with some of the more beefier angle patch cords tips not fitting). So this will help as I move my effects loop pedals to this new biard. Only thing I would change would be to not have it come with Velcro already attached (very well attached), as I use the 3M stuff which snaps together tighter and does not get as dirty. But that's just my case…. Still give it 5 stars as you can tell all the machining is top notch , built like a tank.Armando

I bought this pedal board in 2018 after looking at other brands (pedal train $200-$300 for same size). Comes with heaps of velcro tape, probably more than you'll ever need. I also purchased the JOYO JP04 power supply and RD1 pedal flight case. $327 total..(in 2018) What a bargain. Every bit as good as the Botique brands, but Sooo much cheaper. Artist Guitars have the best online service and backup as well. I have bought many items from them. Highly reccomendedmurray
Up and coming quality Chinese brand Joyo's RDB2 pedalboard is a Pedaltrain 2 (original) clone for a fraction of the big brand name price without sacrificing quality, features or aesthetic finish. It's just a practical, fully featured mid sized pedalboard, perfect for home or gigging. I like the fact that you can buy it without any case, although the Joyo hard case combo is simply stunning value too. It comes enclosed in bubblewrap with an elastic power supply retaining strap and two rolls of 5cm wide hook and loop (1 of ea) adhesive backed velcro inside Joyo's protective cardboard shipping box. Praise must go to Artist Guitars too for their RMA return handling. Upon receipt I discovered a cosmetic repair issue with the board I had received. I immediately contacted Artist Guitars. The ethos of any company, but particularly an online store can always be gauged by how they handle it and the customer when a problem occurs. In this instance, the entire RMA returns and replacement process couldn't have gone more smoothly or been facilitated any better. Two thumbs up for Artist Guitars and my new Joyo RDB2 pedal board. I'd buy the same again, but probably with the hard case next time. Very professional staff and 100% reliable company selling quality product who stand behind their return guarantees.Keiron
