I bought this amp to have a small, cheap portable amp to play harmonica through. For that, it is decent enough. I use a Shure bullet mic and the amp produces good enough tone and is plenty loud for practice or small gigs. When I plug my tele into it the clean channel is decent and clear, but the overdrive channel is junk and hurts my ears. I would rather run the clean channel and use a fuzz or distortion pedal. So that being said it is decent enough to practice licks on and it is tiny so it tucks away easy. If you look around you can find a bigger amp with more features used for the same price but if you want a new amp, this one is probably worth what they charge for it. I would only buy it if you have a specific purpose for it though.Roy
It's small, and pretty portable. However, the sound quality is trash, given the speaker is tiny, but the overdrive is just horrible. If you buy this, try returning it. If you can't return it, just get a fuzz pedal and leave it on clean. Imo, just buy the mustang lt25-50Hotdog Games
I actually bought it 4 years ago, but realized I never wrote a review. It's surprising how light it is, almost felt like a toy. That being said, it's sturdily built, just very, very lightweight which is quite nice. I do mostly clean channel playing, not really much into heavy rocking much anymore. For clean channel playing, this little amp has a great sound. It puts out quite a bit of volume. I have used it playing for church and was more than enough volume to be heard with folks singing. The distortion is just okay, which is what kept me from giving the amp a 5-star review. But, most folks who want to rock out, probably aren't going for a 10-watt amp anyway. The distortion is decent enough for use in practice or playing along to your own music collection.

Purchased a Yamaha SLG200S and wanted an amp to go with it, as this part of the silent guitar family it was a no brainer. The size, tones, volume, software, portability and that fact it can be battery powered are all plusses, and it looks great with the faux tube glow. It's plenty loud and sounds great, make sure to use the software to really dial in the sound. Currently the only amp I own, as the only powered guitar I have is the SLG200S.
A great mini amp suited to acoustic guitars for private use applications in living rooms or bedrooms. The sound quality is very crisp and clear. There is a choice of microphone emulation to simulate mic-ing up your acoustic guitar. The signal from this mini amp can be fed into a PA or a mixing desk using the Phones output socket. This amp is not really suitable for rock electric guitar sounds like crunch and distortion. The Yamaha THR5 is more suitable for this purpose.Danny
I have looked at the Yamaha THR line of amps many times in various retail shops. Finally saw one on MF in open box condition. Thought, "What the heck." Looks and functions as new. I bought the THR5A to use with my acoustic-electrics. I wanted a small portable amp with good effects for small venues and home practice. For me, a solo singer song writer playing originals, this little amp is a true gem. I use it for effects support in stereo, the other line run through my 40 watt Fender Acoustasonic. For years I have used the durable Acoustasonic as my PA, monitor, and for my vocals, and my Boss RC3 Looper. The THR5A is used simply to tweak the sound of the guitar. The effects are very nice, lots of range to dial in. The modeled Mics offer enough variety to cover the 3 different AE guitars I use. (Carvin AC175, Carvin AE185, Huss and Dalton CM). I can even use my OCD pedal through the THR5A for playing blues leads over the Loops. I would recommend this amp to any player of AE guitars because the sound quality out of this small inexpensive amp is truly amazing. But remember young squires, the THR5A is a very low watt amp with tiny speakers, so do not expect it to support you in a setting of more than 15-20 attentive listeners!Surflad

This amp is fantastic. For someone that is so used to having different modellers, tube amps, multi fx and stompboxes this is now all I need. I've been meddling with allsorts kf gear for 17 years in my search for tone. I feel I am now at the end. Managed to dial in 4 very usable great sounding patches in minutes just using the front panel, something I've not been able to do with any amp or modeller in a while. It djents, it can do blues crunch, it can do straight rock grit, chimey clean, and just big standard chuggy metal very well. It's quite light, but when you turn up the volume you can feel air moving, like you can with a much bigger cab or with a valve amp. For a 1×12 it isn't boxy at all, very open sounding. The Waza speaker is very harsh in the top and highs to begin with when you first switch it on, but after a few hours use the speaker breaks in and the harsh highs all disappear. For someone that has always used Celestion V30's this Waza speaker is just amazing and I'm definitely leaving it as is! The dynamic response to picking and rolling your volume knob down is just how a valve amp responds – light picking = cleaner tones. Dig in with your pick and the amp comes alive. Fantastic all round amp, Boss really have nailed it with this one.
Just picked one of these and it's been a joy to play. Pretty easy to use with quite a few options. Was able to dial in some tones that sound like my $800-1k tube amps. Honestly this amp is the best bang for your buck amp available imo. I really love the Waza Craft Greenback speaker. I love the .5, 50,100 watt options. Haven't even explored the software yet but I'm confident enough in this amp to give it a 5 star already. This of course is keeping in mind the fact it's essentially a budget amp price. Sound: Right out of the box? I didn’t even adjust EQs. Set volume and gain, and started playing. Took 0 effort to get 98% of the way to my live tone that is an Orange Rockerverb 100W MK2 and Marshall 212 with V30s. Features: I love the Tone Studio. I did have to pull a star from Ease Of Use because it may be confusing if you’re not good with computers. Ease of Use: If you can’t get a good sound out of this amp, return it, sell your guitars, and find a new hobby. That’s how easy getting a good sound out of this is. Quality: Seems pretty decent. I wouldn’t call it robust, but it doesn’t FEEL as cheap as the price would suggest. Value: 100% worth the price. I’d have paid $100 more for it if I’d have known how good it would sound. Manufacturer Support: I’ve dealt with Roland/Boss in the past, and they’ve always been wonderful. The Wow Factor: Looks good, sounds good, price is good. A perfect practice amp, that could stand in for a small venue in a pinch. Naturally my live rig is a bit much for my apartment, but this is just what the doctor ordered. Overall: Solid state amps have come a long way. A REALLY long way. I’ll be honest, being a tube snob, I had very low expectations. When I ordered this amp I expected to change out the tubes for JJs because if recommendations in the reviews I read. The stock tubes in this particular amp didn't produce any rattle and also provided plenty of clarity and bass. I don't sense the need to change out the tubes. This amp has more head room than my 1×10 2013 '65 Princeton Reverb Reissue Amp and I'll say its louder. The Vox Ac10c1 doesn't have a footswitch input installed onto it, if you want to switch from reverb to gain you will have to do it by hand as youre playing. The gain is rich, its a decent factory built in, the gain effect on my 4×10 2003 Fender Concert Reverb Amp doesnt sound nearly this good, if you buy the newer Marshall 20 watt tube amp or their MG solid state series amps their gain effects have a thinner, more static sounding than gritty sound to them. Vox amps have that more lush grit sound, akin to the sound we hear in the songs Ripcord and Vegetable by Radiohead (though Thom Yorke uses a turbo rat pedal) Haven't tried the Ac10c1 with a drummer, setting the Ac10c1 on an amp stand to project the speaker upward or placing this amp on a table should work just fine. The portability and light 27 pound weight are a huge plus if you decide on taking this amp anywhere. With this amp in one hand and a guitar stand and your guitar in a case in the other hand- you will be able to comfortably enter to set up and exit to load up in single trips. I originally expected to change the amp handle out for a leather handle but this vinyl handle is pretty thick. While playing through this amp, you can really feel and hear the nuances of its tube sensitivity while strumming and if you dig in with a pick, you can go from soft to really loud. The touch sensitive dynamics have been well calibrated in this amp. Again, the only downside is the lack of a footswitch input to switch between the amps good sounding gain and so so digital (not analog spring) reverb channel, no one seems to mention this. Everyone has their own effects pedals and loopers and what they already like to use so it almost balances out. I must say I actually like the sound of the gain on this amp. Again Im glad I didnt settle for a solid state Marshall in this price range, or the latest 20 watt tube Marshall which both felt and sounded lesser quality to me. I was looking for a good sounding portable amp. Glad I ordered a Vox Ac10c1
The Ac-10not only looks the business but it has since real depth and warmth to its tone. Clean – it’s bright and has the chime you’d expect. Turn up the gain and your tone breaks up but still retains clarity. Having the gain wide open and master volume down means you can still have the saturated crunch but not disturb others . Perfect for home use but would not be out of place in a small pub gig. Takes pedals will and with a multi-fix like a GT 100, if you disable the amp sim and use like a conventional pedal board, you don’t lose any quality of the AC10’s natural tone. A masterful amp and it even smells nice with those tubes cooking.Mark R.
Ive been playing 35 years and this is probably the best all around practice amp ive ever heard. Pros- looks great, sounds very good, cleans thump and chime, distortion can wail. Its loud for its size. Seems built well. Have had no bad issues. Cons- clean isnt near as loud as w the gain cranked up. No reverb. In short if this amp was 50-100W and had reverb and an external speaker jack id never play another amp. Good job VOX.jjsrvfan

Unbelievable. This is NOT my Vox AC30, and nor is it my 100W Katana. However, for a package that is powered by batteries and can, quite literally, fit into the palm of your hand, the Katana Mini is simply fantastic. The amp models are brilliant and the delay (reverb) function is an excellent feature. On "clean" settings the volume of the amp is perfectly adequate and will fill a room with no issues, and on the "crunch" and "brown" settings, the amp was more than loud enough to fill a large room at 2/3 volume. Whilst I personally think that this is not quite enough for an advanced/intermediate players sole amplifier, I would completely agree that for a beginner, they would need no more than this. Having tried options from Yamaha and other brands, this is firmly my favourite battery powered micro amplifier for any level of guitarist and equipment, the tone is simply that good! The best way I can describe it is this – when I first plugged my PRS McCarty 594 into it, I was vaguely aware that I wasn't playing through my Vox. However, after five minutes or so, I had completely forgotten this wasn't a "real" amp, and had to keep looking down at the tiny box on the floor to believe it! Well done, Boss!Mr I. F.
Overall: I've been a bass player since 83 and just picked up the guitar a year or two ago. I purchased a guitar a few months ago and didn't have funds for an amp. So, after watching countless vids and reading many reviews, I favored this one the most. No local stores had a katana under 50w so, the payment plan zZounds had was perfect and received this little beast on Wednesday. With that said, no vid or review could compare to the hands on experience. For a 7w amp, this truly is a must have and the sound is 100% phenomenal. I'm personally not into effect pedals and what features this amp has, is just enough for me. The delay is just right as well as clean/crunch and brown features. The only problem that I have is, though it comes with 6 AA batteries, the adapter would've been more preffered.Other than that, I highly reccomend this amp to everyone, and would highly recommend zZounds payment plans (if your credit card qualifies) and customer service is great tooOne more thing, it's a lot smaller than I thought and that's one of the many reasons why I reccomend this to everyone.
I use it primarily as a practice amp at lower levels, but I'd feel confident doing coffee house gigs with it, and maybe smaller clubs too. It sounds warm and rich at low volumes, and the EQ is effective. All three voices are useful and I'm not left wanting. I have to make special mention of the delay. I adore reverb (including and especially spring reverb and gritty, trashy reverb of all kinds) but a simple delay circuit is way more useful in this amp. Doubling, slapback, echoes. The treble roll-off and fixed feedback are well-tuned. If you're using this for busking or other guerilla performance, you will suddenly realize that a single delay is worth more than a thousand reflections, because those reflections sound godawful* against naturally-occurring surfaces. *maybe awesome in a sound design way thoughChesterfleet

If you're expecting an amazing Marshall sound, you might want to invest in some of the bigger amps Marshall has to offer. If you think you can get a concert level sound out of this little guy, you will not be the happiest person. However, that level of "high" expectation would not be very reasonable or even realistic for such a little amp. This is a very cute, small amp that will help you plug your guitar so you can practice quietly in any room in your house without annoying your wife. It will distort if you crank the volume all the way out, and if you're used to the full sound of a bigger Marshall (like I do) it might make you feel like you're hearing your guitar over an old telephone (just my opinion). However, if you calibrate your instrument volume & tone you can find a happy medium. With that said, for the price it is a very nice solution to practice and if the sound seems too weak for you, you have the choice of putting headphones. I personally use it just for practice on the fly, it serves it purpose, but then again I was not expecting the best sound output. So I am happy with the purchase.BeeZee
It's basically a toy amp. I can see it being used as a portable amp for non-serious performance. Personally, I like it for a quick jam and for (relatively) quiet practice in my apartment setting. Won't disturb my neighbors but it does get noticeable at the highest volume. That and the overdrive knob are the two main controls. By default it just does a clean sound but overdrive lets you toggle in some gain for that distortion. It has a good look that definitely models after its bigger brothers.Rick
I don't know what some of you guys expect from this thing, but be realistic: it's an inexpensive 5 inch tall, 1 watt amp. It's not designed for anything but sitting in a chair and entertaining yourself or a couple of people. Within that context, I enjoy this thing and sometimes get it off the shelf and play around with it for awhile. Also, when I owed somebody a 1 minute long riff for his podcast and my main amp was getting some regular tech service, I plugged my American Standard Strat into this thing, mic'd the amp, used the OD channel with the volume and tone both on 10, played the part, then added tons of bass, reverb, and chorus to it in post, and it sounded great and nobody ever knew that I recorded the part using a 5 inch tall amp. These amps are amazing! The harmony pedal is so tight to the vocal, the clarity in the acoustics are great on voice and guitar. The reverbs are quite a large hall with only 1 setting, so personally don’t use the reverbs too heavy, chorus is great, delay is great. Simple looper on there, but don’t personally use, I connect an alternative looper as difficult to use live. But overall sound of acoustics and depth are really top notch! I had a Fishman Loudbox before this amp, and I was completely satisfied. I believed I had it all – and I STILL know that Fishman creates an awesome acoustic amp. Then one day, I saw a demo of this amp at a local music store while travelling and I decided to play with it for a few hours. Well, unbeknownst to me, I opened up a black hole money sucking vortex, and sure enough within two months I bought one of my own. The first thing that captured my attention with this amp is how little . . .and yet LOUD this amp really is. Quite frankly, I can't recall ever feeling so confused about the size versus the sound output on a device. Obviously, the smaller, the more portable, but often it comes with a significant sound downgrade. To me this is now the new gold standard on what a small portable amp can output. The next thing that caught my ear was just how much the amp brought to life the natural sound of an acoustic guitar. It has standard tone controls, but in addition it has three different resonance modes you can add – and they're not gimmicky. I have my favorite, but all three add a flavor to the sound that is warm and, well, wood grainy. Finally, I was unable to resist its siren song charms after hearing what it can do if you plug in a vocal mic. I use it for practice. Although it has a bass setting you can program via the phone kit, the speaker is not as good as a basic bass amp like a fender rumble. The default presets sound the best, and if you need a different sound, it's probably best to use pedals on the clean setting. The effects aren't as good as I hoped for. The chorus effect is nice; but delay, reverb, and spring could be loads better. It gets the job done and I wasn't needing the other effects to be there at all so a good purchase for me, but if you need all the features to be awesome, look elsewhere.Waukegan

Um im Wohnzimmer auf der Couch ein wenig zu klimpern ist dieser Amp geradezu genial . Vom Gewicht her sehr leicht und auch von der Größe ist es ideal den Amp direkt neben sich zu haben . Der Clean-Sound kann richtig laut sein ohne zu zerren . Mit dem Overdrive Regler kann man schon recht schöne Crunch-Sounds erreichen . Ist natürlich nicht vergleichbar mit einem großen Röhrenverstärker , aber das darf man bei einem Preis von unter 50 € auch nicht erwarten . Mit externen Effekt Geräten die man zwischen Gitarre und Amp hängt kann man noch viel mehr Sounds rausholen . Ist alles möglich . Als Übungs-Amp für zu Hause ideal .

I bought this for an upcoming camping trip and I am very happy with the tone and volume when using AmpliTube. I usually use an AXE-FX III through 4000w of FRFR speakers so I am really spoiled tone wise. I didn't have huge hopes for this, but the second I turned it on the hissing white noise sound that came out made it clear that this amp was not for me. Even without anything plugged in and all of the knobs turned to zero, as much as I turned up the volume, that's how much noise I got. This DID not work at all for me with the Amplitube phone app, but did with the Amplitube computer app – with some significant drawbacks. The audio level was low, and when I turned it up to get some usable volume, that ever-present background noise just killed the tone. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this.B.G.

When I ordered this amp I expected to change out the tubes for JJs because if recommendations in the reviews I read. The stock tubes in this particular amp didn't produce any rattle and also provided plenty of clarity and bass. I don't sense the need to change out the tubes. This amp has more head room than my 1×10 2013 '65 Princeton Reverb Reissue Amp and I'll say its louder. The Vox Ac10c1 doesn't have a footswitch input installed onto it, if you want to switch from reverb to gain you will have to do it by hand as youre playing. The gain is rich, its a decent factory built in, the gain effect on my 4×10 2003 Fender Concert Reverb Amp doesnt sound nearly this good, if you buy the newer Marshall 20 watt tube amp or their MG solid state series amps their gain effects have a thinner, more static sounding than gritty sound to them. Vox amps have that more lush grit sound, akin to the sound we hear in the songs Ripcord and Vegetable by Radiohead (though Thom Yorke uses a turbo rat pedal) Haven't tried the Ac10c1 with a drummer, setting the Ac10c1 on an amp stand to project the speaker upward or placing this amp on a table should work just fine. The portability and light 27 pound weight are a huge plus if you decide on taking this amp anywhere. With this amp in one hand and a guitar stand and your guitar in a case in the other hand- you will be able to comfortably enter to set up and exit to load up in single trips. I originally expected to change the amp handle out for a leather handle but this vinyl handle is pretty thick. While playing through this amp, you can really feel and hear the nuances of its tube sensitivity while strumming and if you dig in with a pick, you can go from soft to really loud. The touch sensitive dynamics have been well calibrated in this amp. Again, the only downside is the lack of a footswitch input to switch between the amps good sounding gain and so so digital (not analog spring) reverb channel, no one seems to mention this. Everyone has their own effects pedals and loopers and what they already like to use so it almost balances out. I must say I actually like the sound of the gain on this amp. Again Im glad I didnt settle for a solid state Marshall in this price range, or the latest 20 watt tube Marshall which both felt and sounded lesser quality to me. I was looking for a good sounding portable amp. Glad I ordered a Vox Ac10c1
The Ac-10not only looks the business but it has since real depth and warmth to its tone. Clean – it’s bright and has the chime you’d expect. Turn up the gain and your tone breaks up but still retains clarity. Having the gain wide open and master volume down means you can still have the saturated crunch but not disturb others . Perfect for home use but would not be out of place in a small pub gig. Takes pedals will and with a multi-fix like a GT 100, if you disable the amp sim and use like a conventional pedal board, you don’t lose any quality of the AC10’s natural tone. A masterful amp and it even smells nice with those tubes cooking.Mark R.
Ive been playing 35 years and this is probably the best all around practice amp ive ever heard. Pros- looks great, sounds very good, cleans thump and chime, distortion can wail. Its loud for its size. Seems built well. Have had no bad issues. Cons- clean isnt near as loud as w the gain cranked up. No reverb. Wasn't sure about this little guy – – but the one I received was in pristine shape, with power brick and carry handle. I power it with 6 rechargeable AA Lithium batteries – and it'll run x 6 hours easy without recharging. I play an acoustic guitar (i installed a Fishman rare earth pickup) in a small orchestra with a piano, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, etc, and only need to run at about 35% max volume to blend in well with the group. I've taken up giving lessons in my home and, in other locations and, dragging around even a moderate size amp was not in my plans. I did some shopping and, came up with the Micro Cube as my answer, WOW what a feature filled little powerhouse! I debated going to just a plain small practice amp but, after I tried one it reminded me of trying to play through an old transistor radio. Very bland boring sound and, only a push button to get an overdrive sound that sounded pretty bad. This Roland unit sounds Fantastic at 3w and, with only a 5" speaker, I don't know how they do it but, it's Great!! The convenience of battery power is something that I really enjoy also. Take it anywhere! The FX sound Super, amp models are a nice touch and, even a tuner. The 1/8" input is a nice touch to jam with backing tracks or any type of sounds. Taking this to lessons is sooo much more handier than a 30lb. amp. There is only a tone control but, it is really all you need to get the sound you want. The memory function is a handy feature so save preset sounds for each amp model. The only thing I haven't tried is to plug a Mic in and, check it out but, I definately will and, I'm betting that the results will be positive there also. I'm soooo glad I spent the extra dinero and, went with this amp. I'm very satisfied and, definately recommend this anyone looking for small portable amp for practice or any other reason to have a light weight amp that sounds really good. I don't think that I would run a bass through it but, at low volume I wouldn't be surprised that it could handle it. In general this is a great little amp. It is loud, but its frequency range is narrow. I would expect something so small to be weak on bass, but I am surprised at how poor the high frequency is. I have to turn the tone all the way up to make it sound like a regular amp. I will try different speakers and the line out into a different amp to see if the poor high end is either the speaker or amp. The headphone output sounds much better, so I believe the issue is not in the internal electronics. In general I would recommend this amp. So much that I am buying another to give to my son in college as a dorm amp. He is interested in the headphone feature, which sounds very good. As a practice amp this little thing does a great job. The effects are better on some settings than others. but I think there are more effects on this amp than other brands. The portability is great. The battery life it pretty good for how loud it is. With the line input you can not only play along to songs, unaffected by the guitar effects, but it turns your phone into a loud jam box. There is a lot of loud "bang for the buck" in the little amp.Dowacky

I have nothing but great things to say about this amp! Perfect for the solo acoustic artist. I've been a solo acoustic gigging musician for years and this is the best amp I've played through. You get a nice rich sound from your guitar and I love the reverb effects on both the vox and guitar. The chorus is a nice touch, though I don't use it much. I've played Marshall amps almost exclusively so I knew they'd handle my guitar well, but I was really surprised with the vocal sound. A very warm tone with minimal knobs for a quick set up. It sounds great mic'd or you can run a line out to a PA for further EQ if you'd like. It's light enough and compact enough to throw in your car for a last minute gig. Great for small to medium rooms, mic it or line out for a larger one and get rocking. You won't be disappointed.CT
If you've been reading (and watching) the reviews, then you know this is likely going to be a great amp. However, even after researching it, there were 4 unknowns for me. These are now clarified, now that I own this amp. 1) Bass. Yes, it has more than enough bass. 2) Clean sound. Yes, when reverb and chorus are off, the clean (natural) sound is fantastic. As good as the chorus and reverb are, I think I'm going to be playing it "clean" a lot. 3) Weight. As you know, it's heavier than most amps in this category; don't worry about it. It's not bad. You can always put it on a small self-made dolly if need be. 4) Plug-In for the Footswitch pedal — what is it, and how does it work? The one that's made for this amp has two buttons: one for reverb, and one for chorus. Yes, you have to pay extra for this (and the amp is also a bit more expensive) — but worth it. Very happy with this amp. It is such a warm, fantastic sounding amp.B
Speaking from experience with various sound reinforcenent systems. There are many options here with the phantom mic power and even an rca input for devices (drums or other audio.) Other reviewers note the solid build and good looks. I have one in white. Marshall knows speakers and this closed back box provides wide range good definition, and good projection. Not box like. I have run electric guitar or bass straight in. I would think it fine for jazz guitar. Or use your choice of pre amp devices/emulators. Acoustic electric guitar and condenser mic for live app and you are ready for the coffee house.Michael Eastin

Sound: The problem I have with this amp is the sound quality. I don't consider myself a tube snob or tube maniac. I bought this amp on a recommendation from someone. I wanted to lighten the load at my age and so I gave this a try as it was only twenty-something pounds. The clean tones in IMHO are ok. the chorus is nice. The problem I have is the crunch, lead, the dirty tones to me sounded very tinny. I played around with it for an extended time and when I cut the treble back to 0 it sounded slightly better. But then I realized it would never sound as good as my Bugera does. I guess they call it tube emulation but IMO it's not quite there yet or at least Boss hasn't mastered it yet. Features: Of course one of the great thing about zZounds is you don't have to live with a product you don't like. I just packed everything back up as it was sent to me and shipped it right back. Based on a friend's recommendation, I purchased a new Boss Katana 100 MK 2 in June 2021. The first thing that impressed me was it's power…it seemed to be a real 100 watts in a portable and lightweight package. I was able to dial in some useful tube-like tones right from the start with the clean channel. The Katana warmed up quickly to single coil or hum bucking pickups. The tone "variations" are also very useful for dialing in the right sounds to your liking. The delay adds the right amount of sparkle to your overall sound…very cool! Unfortunately, I was not able to get much help from the Boss Tone Studio when I downloaded it to the amp. (The response was: "Amp not connected"). Another disappointment is no Boss Tone Studio for iOS users…really guys? The required Boss foot switch is another issue…look online to see pedal "hacks" that use standard one-button or two-button formats. (Save a few bucks with a regular pedal). All in all: I'm very pleased with the amp. The line-in is a great feature to use with backing tracks along with the headphone jack for late night practicing. The basic amp tones has a realistic tube texture that reminds me of Marshall, Fender or Vox models.Scotty, M.
I have had the 50 watt for several months which is a great amp, but decided I wanted more foot switching options provided by the GA-FC controller. I figured if I was to buy the 100 watt it might as well be a 2X12. The 100 2X12 sounds awesome. And it is really loud to play at home even on the .5 watt setting. I'm tired of messing with tube amps and effect pedals so the Boss Katana series is just what I need. I have not dived in to the software and deep settings on either amp yet. These are apparently had to get. SAM Ash had it on backorder from Boss. The web and phone support at SAM Ash is great. Chris from phone support helped me complete the order and was super knowledgeable and helpful throughout. He even called me back a couple of times to update status and follow up once it was delivered. Oh… And the 2X12 is way heavier and bigger than the 1X12.Pupster
