Best price in town on a great little piece of equipment. Honestly, it's amazing what tech is doing these days. This unit is fully staged worthy and has nearly everything anyone could want. There is a learning curve to the unit but it isn't too bad. It isn't perfect out of the box but can be tweaked to preference. Many of the presets are great and as good launch point for sounds you are looking for. As for delivery, my unit came very fast. I think i waited 4 days for my order (which was 5 days earlier than initially estimated).Jeffrey

The GP-200 is a very flexible multi-effects/modeler whose price may suggest something of lower quality, but it's actually a great-sounding and fun unit. I play acoustic and electric guitar with an Acoustasonic Telecaster, and the GP-200 works great for both sounds. You get what's probably hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of amps, effects, and cabinets for a fraction of the cost. The factory presets probably aren't for most people, but the fun is in creating your own anyway. I definitely recommend using the PC/Mac software for this, as it's a little easier on the eyes and a bit more intuitive as far as the interface goes, but working with the unit itself just takes a little time and experimenting to get used to as the documentation isn't as detailed as it could be for the depth of options available. The acoustic guitar IRs are helpful for buffing up a standard piezo pickup; they won't fill anyone into thinking that your $200 guitar is a vintage Martin or whatnot, but they do bring a bit more depth to the sound. I find them a bit brittle-sounding, but perhaps with more EQ tweaking I could minimize that. I highly recommend this unit for people who want a good, flexible modeling solution without paying thousands. I haven't had the opportunity to play with big-name modelers, but this will definitely do the trick for most.Josh

Two hundred is about your bottom dollar for a tube guitar amp. This is a real deal 2 large bottle push-pull guitar head. Not only that, it's two channel with a lead boost. The amp actually looks better in person than the white washed stock photo. Solid value.nbrothergtr

Very easy to use and built like a tank. I had to watch a few demo videos to learn how the controls worked and interacted but it didn't take but a few minutes. Playback quality is very good with tons of storage for created loops. My only issue is with what Boss calls "Drum Tracks". There's only 10 of them and their sound quality is piercing. You can load your own via the usb connection though. Also, it only stores wav files from external sources so converting songs you only have as mp3 etc. to wav is an extra step I could do without. I might just be nitpicking because otherwise it's a great looper with more features than most people will ever need. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.ethan1957

I bought this to compare to my ditto pedal. Its not nearly as simple to use, despite what people say. Okay, it might just be me, but the ditto is more intuitive to use. After you record the first loop, it automatically begins recording the overdub. With the ditto, it goes to pause when you complete a loop. So, yes, its a Boss pedal and built like a tank. But for me, its 50/50 with the ditto. You have to make your own decision about this one.jonaha650

Have been nothing but pleased with the Boss RC-1 loop pedal. I currently use it in conjunction with my Digitech RP1000 and it has really allowed me creative freedom while practicing. I bought this since the RP1000 only has a 20 second looping feature, while this one can go as long as I need. I like how you can easily layer riffs on top of one another, delete when you make mistakes, and stop altogether with just the stomp of the pedal. It's amazing. Nothing else to say. It was a great deal, and so far has been a real ear opener onto sonic tapestries hitherto unexplored. The interface seems to be built like a tank (time will tell), was straightforward to set up and the neighbours enjoy the results so much they bang on the wall with enthusiastic glee. For a compact looper pedal this has, great features. The deal breaker is the circular led panel. While this pedal functions in a basic way the led tells you exactly what is happening and where you are in you loop. That knowledge makes me far more confident to use it live. You can end the playback and erase the loop silently or pause the playback and use it again – useful if a lead break is later in the song. You record the rhythm part, pause it and start it later on in the song. There options for adding extra pedal to control things but I found I got on OK without them. Basically a solid looper with a useful display that is, easy to read in a live situation. The trick to silently erase is to double tap and hold the second tap. Stops instantly and the erases a couple of seconds later – this isn't clear in the instructions.David M.

High value and quality! Maybe not for the touring professional who needs every bell and whistle, but for beginners or intermediates it's a really solid feature set and great quality at a price point that is just a hair over the price of some much more basic units. Spend the extra $20 and get a pedal you'll love! Loopers are super fun, this one is no exception. There is a learning curve but that's more on the player than the pedal. (If your timing/coordination are not on point, a looper, like any recording method, will really highlight that.) I have rarely relied on a loop machine in my 33+ years of performing music. I've had a DigiTec JamMan for a long time but found it too difficult to co-ordinate short phrases into a piece. I used it more with sampling of ambient sound than musical phrases. I've only had the Boss RC-500 for a short time but already find it much easier to use. I haven't even experimented with the percussion aspects but I can see great possibilities. I'm a great fan of Boss and Roland. They make quality , well thought out, aids for musical expression. Have not used it live yet. Still getting friendly with it. There are a lot of rhythm patterns to choose from but many of them are very similar. Some of the functions I would have thought would be accessible through MIDI are not, but there are ways to work around most of them. Overall it seems like a great unit for a moderate price. The sound quality is very good. One disappointment is that I had the impression you could download rhythm patterns to replace the ones you don't care to use – you can't download them as rhythms, only as backing tracks. Look for the reference manual (not the owners manual) and study it before you buy if you have specific expectations.Glenn K

I decided to buy a looper last year to use primarily for practice, and for easily capturing ideas and riffs. I settled on the Boss RC-1 and it performed great. The biggest limitation was only being able to capture one idea at a time. I started looking around for something with more memory locations and I found the RC-5 as an upgrade. I am blown away by the included drums and the device's ability to determine the tempo. As a tool for capturing multiple ideas and being able to back them up to a PC, this is perfect. I haven't tested the midi capability yet. I could easily see using this in an actual performance in the future. It's pedalboard-friendly size makes it very easy to carry around.Joe G

me = 30+ years making music and 10+ years using hardware and software loopers this thing is fabulous! the ability to split output signal to guitar cab / full range for optimal sound quality is huge! I am running the loop channel of the RC-10R in the effect loop of my guitar amp and the rhythm channel out to a KC-600 keyboard amp. sounds good to me. nice layout, solid feel to the knobs, and the standard built-like-a-tank boss pedal construction. easy to navigate the relatively simple menu system plus easy to operate the pedal once you've spent a little time with it. the rhythm tracks sound good and perform as advertised. I dialed up a funky boogaloo rhythm, recorded a rhythm part loop, then lost myself in a lydian improv for about a half hour when I first got down with it. works for me! a review of the midi implementation shows that it will play well with my other midi gear or computer rig if I decide I want to go there with it. the ability to import my own loops will quickly have me jamming to tracks that are truly of my own taste and the included rhythm tracks are what they are expected to be: a simple and solid representation of many musical genres. I do have a wish-list item that could possibly be addressed in a software update: it would be nice to be able to choose whether sync'ed loop recording begins immediately after the count-in (this is how it behaves now) or waits for a pedal touch punch-in to begin recording the quantized loop (this would be nice). all-in-all I am very happy with this looper and am impressed by what roland and boss have been putting out recently. to me they've always been a company that really understands what musicians want and what I've seen lately across their product lines is really, really impressive. my compliments to all the good people at roland/boss that are making these cool products happen for us.MattD

This thing is great!! Syncs automatically with the push and hold of the rhythm switch! So easy to use. I don't know what these other reviews are doing but this thing is a God send for guitarist. So many beats to choose from. You can pick from 16 different drum kits to play them! 808+909 sounds too! Every a reverb for the drums. The looper is Boss. So you it's good. 6 hours is what you get. 99 slots to save loops. It has a 2 loop/rhythm function that makes it so you have a 2 part loop. More like a song then just a loop. The fills are a littler boring/mechanical. Only 2 per patch. Can use drum machine alone without a recorded loop. Just to jam. Or, just the loop for acoustic stuff etc…. I'm buying a second one for my electric board! Ditched my BB and Rc5. This Rc10r just syncs better then the bb and Rc5. It's a better package for me. Smaller too! I cant say enough about this thing. I had previously bought a Roland 80GX but it required too much tweaking to get the sound I was looking for. So I still wasn't satisfied. When I was playing out in the early nineties I was using an all tube Carvin half-stack which was pretty basic…clean or distorted with reverb and very loud. Great amp but I eventually sold that because it was way too much for home use, and frankly, it sounded best when cranked up. I teach guitar now and I don't intend on playing out again, but I still wanted an amp that was simple to use, solid state so I wouldn't be concerned about replacing tubes, and would be powerful enough to do a gig if I ever got swayed into that again. The only built-in effect on the Bandit is reverb which is all I want besides distortion. I've read that it takes pedals great but I haven't gotten around to trying any. The best thing about this amp (for me) is that I can stop searching for the amp I want. This one is perfect. Clean or dirty, it has great sound and can get seriously loud. For my purposes it also sounds very good at low volume.Russ

Overall: I was able to gig with the unit twice before I had to send it back for exchange. The one I got had issues that occurred,buzz started to happen when nothing is plug in and even when all the controls are set to zero,buzz is still fairly loud!and then the three way switch in the rear panel that switches from 100%-50%-25% does not engage to 25% percent. yes this amp is loud! and last of all you have to buy the peavey footswitch….The Great news is, this amp sounds very good both clean and dirty channel. The cleans can be dialed well(fendery!) and takes Overdrive/Distortion well and that's if you need a pedal. The Lead channel has great gain depending on what you use it for! I like the classic Overdrive/Distortion(aka- marshall) setting allot. I play in two different bands, the first band I'm in plays Rock/Alternative,Twang Rock,Blues Rock,Heavy Rock, Responds real well to volume knob adjustments on the guitar during live playing. The other band is more Funk,Jazz fusion,Gospel,R-n-B type and this amp does it well without any pedals! and that's what I bought this amp for! basically I don't wanna use pedals,just amp cable,guitar and the footswitch to switch from clean to dirty and solo boost when needed. And it does it very well! I dig this amp allot. All the features and especially the solo boost function is awesome! the effect loop works well. I hook up my Boss DD20 with two 15ft cables(not live just for home use!) and there was hardly any tone lost or I could not tell at all. And this is coming from an overly picky Guitar Player. This amp is well thought out by Peavey Engineers and last of all its pretty light amp!Now I just have to wait for the other Peavey Bandit to be delivered to my front door and hope its trouble free!,and thank you zZounds for taking care of business, you always took care of me when there were unexpected issues and you got on top of it fast. Everyone treats this like either a country/blues amp, or a metal amp. But it does fantastic tones for bands in between. Think Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Kings of Leon, The Gaslight Anthem, Death Cab… those in-between tones…it NAILS them. The amp sounds tube. And i mean that. And i've played/owned a LOT of expensive tube amps. I love this thing. Sounds great. Is it a JCM800, Princeton, AC30, or Deluxe? No. It's not. But it can get amazing ballpark sounds. And I dont mean "Line 6, Fender Mustang" ballpark, I mean close your eyes and it would take a discerning ear. Sounds great at low volume but absolutely keeps up with a drummer at half volume. I can gig with mine no problem. If I HAD to pick something to gripe about, it's that by now the new ones should have the 3 different overdrive types foot-switchable. As it is, you can switch between clean and overdrive. But you set which type of overdrive (vintage, modern, high gain) at the amp and if you want to change your OD type you have to do so with your hands. This is an extremely minor complaint though and I'm being crazy picky. Especially considering that between a tube-screamer, Joyo AC Tone and the vintage channel, I can get every sound I'll ever use. I'm not really into the heavy stuff, but it does do that very well too. Oh also, it takes pedals like a tube amp. I've read reviews from people who say that it doesn't and they must be insane. Also..i dont know why the youtube videos comparing them to fender amps sound so muddy or dark, that is DEFINITELY a settings problem. I can get mine sounding VERY fender. And i'd put it up against a Hotrod Deluxe any day of the week.underXtheXradar

Having owned other loopers, I have always been frustrated by how they make you conform artistically to what they want to do. Not so with the RC300. This baby is pretty much fully customisable so you're only limited by your creativity…rather than by the looper! It's not obvious from the write ups on it but you can unsynch all the tracks if you wish, so recording verses, choruses, middle 8s, etc of different measures is not a problem at all. That's what I struggled with before but not now. It is pricey but it is very well built and the sound quality is A1. I'm glad I made the leap of faith and bought it! Cheers!Joe H.

This is by far the most useful looper I've ever owned. It's big, but it's very sturdy and it's pretty easy to get the basics down. I'm glad I bought and I have been gigging with it a lot so I haven't felt any buyer's remorse yet. You can also pretty much customize this thing to make it do exactly what you want it to do. I would've given this 4 1/2 stars if that were an option. I hesitated to give it 5 just because it was so expensive and also because the GUITAR>BASS function is complete and total garbage. I was really hoping to use this to add basslines to my loops but it just ain't gonna happen. Those are the only cons I have ran into so far. This is much smoother and easier to use than the RC20XL and The older boss single pedal I used to have ( i cant remember the model right off) It's an excellent tool for writing and jamming at home. It's got lots of drumbeats and what not to jam to. Most are too cheesy to use live but they are fun at home. There's still lots to learn for me but I love it so far. Gator makes a bag that MF carries thats about thirty large that this thing fits in nicely. I bought it after a guy on youtube recommended for this pedal and he was right. You will definitely wants something to carry this thing in. It's big, heavy and expensive.JC

Even though this is designed to be a tabletop looper, it works well for the guitarist or keyboard player who would rather have the looper off the floor and controllable with their hands. These units are getting a bad rap for the plastic construction, and rightfully so. But there are lots of great effects and options for creating loop projects. I have yet to discover everything I can do with the 505. Still, BOSS could have put it in a better casing and with better sliders. You feel like you're going to break it. And the digital effects are quite handy but may not be up to a lot of people's standards. Overall quite good, but is it worth $500? Yes, but be prepared for the learning curve. A lot of us would have traded some of the bells and whistles to have something a little more robust and gig ready.MC Chai Zee

After having this for a few weeks I have to say that I am fairly disappointed in it, but not enough to return it. The touchscreen is awesome and really is the single best feature this pedal has to offer, and the ease of use and variety of signal chain is great, and these are the reasons that I am keeping it. The amp modeling is okay, certainly miles better than my old GNX2 from the early 2000s, but still miles away from the real thing. For me the real let down was seeing just how limited the number of models is. The listed number of amp models in deceptive in my opinion because there is quite a bit of redundancy. How many different vintage Fender tones do they think we need? The effects also seemed incredibly limited in this price range as well. There are more rotary models than reverb and delay put together,… how does that make any sense? To be fair though the rotary models sound REALLY good compared even to many standalone rotary pedals. Some of the models are really bad too, like the Whammy pedal,… it is practically useless. The spring reverb is horrible as well. Like most multi-effects units it does clean fine, ultra heavy passable, and struggles horribly with anything in between. I hope they come out with some firmware updates that add some more models and effects to the unit soon, but I am not too optimistic. If your main concerns are ease of use, this IS the multi-effects pedal for you, hands down,…. but if sound quality and variety are of greater concern,… keep looking.Livinginthewoods

Ok. There are a bunch of different looper pedals available these days with a wide price range. I wanted a simple ( budget priced) looper to lay down ideas on the fly and groove over my rhythm. So..i put a microphone into this and record my rhythm into my Peavey mixer and jam away. I did notice that running this into my simple tube mic preamp (behringer w/ lower gain 5751) made a huge difference on the final sound. For the price of these little pedals…you can't go wrong. It even has a power supply included! Seems to function just like other loop pedals I have owned. Get your timing right ..start-end. Playback. Layer. Buy it!jammin_joemusic

Operations are not intuitive. Very frustrating, high learning curve. Too many possible setting selections to be done in a certain sequence. Reminds me of my first digital electric wrist watch instruction sheet. " Press 1, hold 2 for 3 seconds, press 1 once more, press and hold 1 and 2 once for each display item, press twice to delete, once more to set default…" Try to remember that each time you want to set the time or alarm. However—Once I learned how to use it, I totally love it. It's like a miniature recording studio. It will only accept a 1Gb or less memory card. Anything larger will not work. It has an input for both instrument and microphone. Most others only have one. Knowing precisely when to end recording takes a lot of practice. If not done exactly right, the playback loop will not be complete. I always start recording with the bass line, no vocals and always use the metronome, mic off. Once you're satisfied with that, you can overdub to your hearts content. I would recommend writing down exact initial startup settings for the mic and instrument volume knobs. That way, you can control recorded levels for vocals and instruments. If you are recording a song with dominant guitar presence, raise it a little before you start recording. If you want a soft harmony vocalin the background, lower the mic volume before starting. You cannot change individual track levels once they are recorded or overdubbed.ron6253

I've owned a Jamman Solo for a few years now and haven't spent much time with it for various reasons. When I finally got to spend some time, it was not that easy for me to use. I watched some You Tube videos on how to use it, which got me going faster than trying to read the manual, and I was overdubbing with ease on the factory pre-set loops. For some reason, which I haven't had time to figure out, I cannot create my own loop from scratch. I follow the directions, but I cannot even get started. The drum machine is hard for me to set at the right tempo. I know I need to read and reread the manual a few times to get there, but haven't been able to make the time. Another problem for me is being colorblind. I have trouble seeing the color(s) of the light(s) to know which mode I'm in, etc. So, today I decided to buy and try the JamMan Express XT. I can return it in 30 days if I don't like it, so I have nothing to lose. Other than getting my timing down, which I figured out fairly quickly, this thing is so easy to use, it amazed me. I created a loop, then added some overdubs and had such a great time with it in such a short time, I think I already know that I'm going to keep it. I wish the JamMan solo was this easy. I want to create some loops for keeps which cannot be done with the JamMan Express. I cannot wait to surprise my bass player next week when I can create a loop on the fly, add some overdubs, and we can jam along with it. I don't think us using a drum machine will hurt my creation of loops with this thing, it is incredibly easy to use compared to my old JamMan solo. Unfortunately, the JamMan solo is an older model and it does not have the sync inputs, but that won't stop me from using both, once I figure it out. I recommend the JamMan Express XT to anybody just getting started with using a looper pedal. The learning curve, mostly the timing, should not be too bad and as the Digitech Rep says, you can grow with it. If I find the need, I wouldn't hesitate getting another one. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can't save loops like you can with the JamMan Solo.joeprs

I just bought this amp with the Line 6 FBV short board; they work well together of course. The amp is a lot of fun with the looper and presets and the endless ways you can tweak your tone. I love the amp but there are a few things which could be better. You must use a 2 gig or smaller SD card or it reboots if you try to save to a bigger card. So just get a bunch of small Sd cards before they are unavailable–only a few places still have them–which is kind of a pain. It does record nice but I haven't figured out how to record the mic input and the guitar input at the same time, so I always have to do two tracks. There is a switch which switches the input for recording back and forth from mic input to guitar jack. With the short board you can turn the looper and presets on on the fly, but you must put the foot pedal in the recording mode, and when the FBV is in the record mode you have to switch it back to channel mode to switch different guitar tones. So to switch to a different guitar tone you have to do another track to reset it. Anyway, I just thought these few drawbacks could have been easily figured out and fixed. Hopefully the next generation can take the more available SD cards, record more than one track at a time, and make the FVB do all the functions in one mode. However, it's nice having all the gimmicks for having fun in one package. Even thought I give it four stars instead of five, it "is" worth the low price, and I would buy it again knowing what I know now.Songwritunfool

The Line 6 spider jam changed my life in many ways. First and foremost you can save every idea that you come up with! 2nd it helped me to become a songwriter, it has everything you need so you dont have to rely on other people showing up to practice. Its allowed me to put the time into writing that I never could before, because face it most people dont want to rehearse 7 days a week, or even 5 for that matter! If you are looking for a versatile and fun practice amp that you can record and gig with, this thing Rocks. I am primarily a bassist and just learning how to do leads on guitar and this amp fit the bill perfect. It does not have the warmth of a top of the line tube amp, but I did not need that as an intermidiate player. This thing has pretty awesome effects and tone varieties for about a couple hundred varieties and most I will never use. You can record, you can plug in a mic or a bass, you can jam tithe rhythm tracks, it has headphones so you play without waking the wife or neighbors, and a built-in tuner! That is just what I have discovered so far! The price makes this the perfect amp for practice, recording, and even small venue performances (half way up on the master and it is loud!) the only thing is it takes time to figure out and discover all the tones and capabilities, but that is also half the fun! Also the clean tones are good but not great. The distortions are fantastic! Not that the cleans are not useable, but they are bit thin for me. HIGHLY recommend!! Have fun!DFW_Bassman65

The footswitches are finicky. The overdrive models are sub par. The touch screen works well and the IR workflow is excellent. In the end, it was not for me. While the amp tones have a pleasant midrange quality, the character itself felt restrictive. The reverbs are glorious but do not warrant the price of admission. My first one had footswitch issues, where they would activate on their own. The replacement did it once or twice. I ran at that point, and do not miss this sub par productEC

For me the MX5 is exactly what I have been looking for many years. Intuitive, compact and priced right. I owned the original Line 6 Pod, the Boss GT-10 and recently the Line 6 Pod Go. The frustrating thing for me with the Boss GT-10 and Line 6 Pod Go is if I did not consistently use them I would forget how to go in and tweak the sounds. Sometimes I don't play for weeks even months and when I got the urge to play again I had to fiddle or re read the manual on how to make certain adjustments. I ended up spending more time on the darn effects unit than actually playing the guitar. With the MX5 it's very intuitive via the touch screen to just make changes or create a new rig. I don't think I'll succumb to use it or lose it affect. The compact size means it can be tucked away easily in my office. And the fact that it has a built in expression pedal is really nice. I don't typically do reviews but I felt this is the first time in a while that a product has met all of my needs. I think Headrush really nailed it for many of us older, part time weekend warrior guitarists out there that just want something easy and ready to use. The MX5 is the third modeler/multi effects processor that I have used for recording and playing live. In my opinion the overall sound quality is a bit underwhelming. On the positive side, the clean tones are excellent. On the negative side, the overdrive tones are satisfactory at best. To be completely honest, I'm very disappointed with the overdrive/distortion tones. It will take a lot of tweaking to get a desirable crunch tone if you are a True Tone chaser. I am not alone with this opinion. Check out the YouTube reviews of the MX5 and the reviews from those who are not affiliated with HR marketing. There are some honest reviews that point out the good, the bad, and the ugly. I unfortunately did not pay attention to those before I purchased this pedal. If you are not a tone chaser and you are new to modeling, this may be a good pedal. It has a great looper. It is easy to use. And it gives the user plenty of options for exploring different pedal tones (not to mention the ability to split the signal chain). But if you are serious about high quality sound, compare this with others before you buy. Not to mention, this pedal has had its share of firmware bugs. The good news is that HR is pretty good about fixing them with firmware updates. Good customer service too.Jesse

I was looking for a good multi-effects pedal option and found this Flamma FM10. It's loaded with a bunch of different amp models and effects. I was able to dial and EQ everything. The expression pedal can also be put to use as a volume pedal, wah, gain control, and several other things. I was able to create several personal patches and have used them all in live settings. They sounded great. Which means a lot coming from me because I am EXTREMELY picky about gear and tone. Other benefits are that it functions as an audio interface, it has stereo outs, a headphone out, and aux in. It fits in a backpack and a gig bag. Depending on where the show is and how a musician needs to get there, this effects unit is going to travel well in all circumstances. Seems like a really great option for any musician (especially traveling musicians) who need a small multi-effects unit. I like it and I'm going to be using this quite often moving forward.Paul

I use the Interblock 45 amp on a 12×18 pedalboard (for guitar practice in my office) where it shares space with a Vox MV50 Rock amp, 6 or 7 pedals, and a few small A/B switches, playing into a 1×12 cabinet with a Celestion Heritage Series G12H (30W, 8 ohms) speaker. I usually but not always use the I-45 as a clean channel and the MV50 as a dirty channel. I especially like that the I-45 has an effects loop. Gain, Volume, and EQ adjustments are nicely progressive. The 2 EQ voices are distinctly and usefully different; same goes for the FR/Cab settings. Thus far, jack connections are solid. Headphone output is decent; I have not tried the I-45 direct to PA or computer. The knobs feel a bit flimsy, but not enough so to make me open the case to see what might be done to stiffen them up. The I-45 sounds great, is quite versatile, works nicely with all my pedals, and easily fits on my pedalboard. I considered rating it 4 stars because of the knobs; at its price I decided it deserved 5 stars.Strain

First off this is NO ordinary solid state amp. Its class D power section provides an amazing replication of real tube feel, rectifier sag and tone. How Quilter did it I dont know but they did. Secondly after lugging heavy tube amps for 52 years of guitar playing, this 3 lb wonder is a huge relief. I have left all my tube amps home. One 12 inch speaker cab loaded with an Emminence Legend speaker and this 101 Mini Reverb Quilter and my condensed pedalboard and my Telecaster and I am ready to play. Dont be fooled by its size or weight. Its 50 watts are true tube level 50 watts. This little monster is a heavyweight champ. It gets real loud, I mean serious loud. I have been a devoted tube amp snob for all of my 52 years of playing guitar. NOT ANYMORE!! Its controls are laid out like a normal tube amp, the limiter control is nice, the mid knob makes a serious tonal difference and the reverb is very spring like. Give it a chance and you just might be as amazed as I amBluesman

This is a neat product, i wanted the bigger model for the 5 channels , but in the middle of lock down the 202 was all that was avaliable to purchase without having to wait, however… The 202 is a brilliant piece of kit , does exactly what it says on the tin and with the help of youtube tutorials i was making some interesting beats ! Reasonable price too. Im still going to get the bigger version, and simply link it to the 202 and have 7 channels. Well designed and simple to use, pmt have never failed to deliver in the 20 or so years ive been using them. My 1st choice for music products. Boss is a reliable brand . The 202 looper is ideal to make beats fast. Im particularly impressed with the " guitar to bass effect, which simply turns your guitar in to a bass guitar, but even more impressive that that, it turns your vocal into a bass guitar! Brilliant fun and extremely useful. Very happy customer 😁. Ps the sound quality is brilliant. Especially when using a DAW and playing vst instruments directly through the 202 looper. Sonicake is the real deal. These guys design and make solid, great sounding and well-thought-out equipment. This looper is easy to use, compact, and comes with the features youd expect from boxes costing maybe twice as much. Very happy with my purchase and will look to Sonicake for any future needs.jefrey1f

Just wanted to reply to the comment regarding the scratchy presence knob. If you read the Runt 20 manual the presence knob is supposed to be scratchy. Nothing wrong with amp. Great amp!!!!!!Steve

I accidentally ordered this amp instead of the 50 watt as originally intended. I discovered the mistake only after it shipped. I intended to exchange it for the 50 Watt at my local Guitar Center. A few days later it arrived at my doorstep and I decided what the heck, I would take it for a test drive. I'm absolutely blown away by this little 20 watt and have decided to keep it. I'm pushing a Friedman vintage 412 cabinet with ease. This small amp is portable, lightweight, extremely feature friendly and has a huge variety of tone. This 20 watt amp can push my 412 cabinet with adequate stage volume with ease. I use a combination of 412 cabinets along with another EVH 5150 amp via ABY switch and will often bounce between the 2 half stacks. I've had numerous Fender Marshall and other Boutique setups in my 45 years of playing but never a Friedman setup until now. The Friedman lineup seems to be popular for a reason. I'm absolutely blown away by this little Powerhouse amp. It's also at a very friendly price tag for what you get. Lots of tone in this little guy. I would absolutely recommend anyone to try it out and take it for a test driveJay
