Glarry Gtl Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar For Sale (2024 Update)

It will arrive with action higher than most les Paul's! So you will need to lower it first thing. I got lucky and got nice frets but you may have to do a complete fret job! My strings were good but some say they had to change theirs first thing..now the pickup…the humbucker is actually pretty sweet and more than I expected..the bridge pickup well it's just there…it's decent to say the least…guitar is extremely light, so light it's almost scary…I will definitely have to pull the control plate off and do another update later on!! But all for all it is worth the money if you're willing to do some work on it first!!

When I received the guitar, I found many new upgrades, starting with double boxed packaging with internal neck support. The guitar was wrapped in a foam bag, and inside of the new padded gig bag. The cable has also been upgraded to a heavy nylon covered cable with metal ends, one straight, one 90°plug. Bound Laurel fretboard and bone nut. The awesome Purple finish is near flawless, smoothly applied with no runs, sags, or rough spots. The electronics and hardware all work smoothly, and the tuner hold tune. Out of the box, the guitar plays well, but is in need of a setup, like most new guitars. The Setup: The neck is very straight and needed a slight adjustment of the truss rod to add a bit of relief. There was no fret sprout, but I did find a couple of frets a tad high, (all above the 12th fret), a few taps with the fret mallet sorted that out, and followed with a polish. The nut slots were even and well cut, but the nut was too tall for my liking, file the slots some, to avoid going to deep, I popped the nut off and filed the bottom to bring it into perfect height. A few dabs of PVA (white) glue reset the nut in place. Conditioned the fretboard with some lemon oil, it was really dry, and looks awesome now. Setting the string height and intonation were as simple as turning a few screws. The guitar now looks and plays wonderfully! Closing thoughts: This is a beautiful guitar, and Glarry's upgrades and revisions are greatly appreciated. The padded gig bag is nice, but grab yourself a soft, flurry towel to line the bag for extra safety, If you want even more security, Glarry sells a hard case to fit this guitar. If you are into mods this is a great platform. Want a Bigsby? add it, custom pickups? why not, locking tuners and strap lock? for me always! Way to go Glarry!

Very pleasantly surprised by this guitar. I only needed to set the intonation and shim up the humbucker (it floated top and bottom). I sanded down the back of the neck to knock down the drag from the gloss finish and it plays as smooth as my other guitar.

Got this guitar as I needed a guitar for my lake place I did not expect much for a guitar in this price range Looked it over .. beautiful Tuned it up …. Played fine though I knew it was gonna need strings Very impressed Couldn't go wrong

ordered ggs101 semi hollow body, very impressed by quality, have had several simular guitars this is as nice or better than most, have had epiphones and ibenbez that cost $700 or more. the quality and playability is great, set up didnt have to change anything. did not recieve the strap, cord ,wrenches or picks. i have plenty of those so did not care,but someone else might

Just received this, and the finish on the guitar is gorgeous. Looked at the back and the string through body ferrules were perfectly straight. Action was pretty decent, plugged it in. Only the bridge pickup seems to work. Appears to be a problem with the way the switch is wired. Soldered to the wrong pins. I will fix this myself. Also, the string through body ferrules don't line up on the front of the guitar, made those holes a little bigger, since they are covered by the bridge. Glarry really needs to work on the method they use to drill the string through holes, so they line up both on the front and the back. All in all, a pretty nice guitar, but not quite perfect. Not sure this would be good for a beginner. They would probably return it. I don't want to discourage buyers. For the price, this is a great guitar. Just expect a few issues.

I just received my Glarry GTL Semi-Hollow T-Style. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with the build quality of this guitar. At this price point I don't expect the highest quality components. I will say however that the pots feel good with right amount of resistance when turned and both adjust the signal well. The switch feels solid with no noise introduced into the signal and the tuners are smooth. I have no issues with the pickups either. What I do expect is that all of the holes are drilled in the proper locations and things line up the way they are supposed to. The bridge on mine is not only off center but also its mounted crooked. Not only is the appearance so bad it's hard to look at, the mis mounted bridge negatively affects set up and playability for me. The other issue I have is with the neck. The neck thickness at the body is 23.24mm and at the nut it is 23.75mm thick. Maybe this is by design, though I kind of doubt it. In any case, it feels quite "wonky" and looks poor too. Even though the hardware is fine, the build quality of this guitar reminds me of the budget guitars I had in the 1970s. I would think with CNC manufacturing and such, things would be better now.

I've read lots of reviews on the GTL. Mostly positive and I love the look of the guitar, So I decided to take the leap and see with $110 buys. No problem in shipping. Guitar was well protected. Love the look of the guitar. The red and pearloid pick guard are beautiful. But… I was disappointed in the playability of the guitar. Several (9) of the frets were high, needed to be leveled and crowned. There was bad fret sprout all the way up and down both sides of the neck. The action was really high and the set screws on several of the bridge barrels were frozen and difficult to move. The edges of the F hole were not sanded or at least not sanded well. So I removed the strings, leveled and crowned the frets, filed off the rough edges on the fret ends and dressed them, gently sanded the inside of the F hole so it looked better, restrung it, adjusted the truss rod and dropped the action to make it playable. After Setting it up, the humbucker at the neck sounded fine, but the bridge pick up was weak and not balanced, even after raising it up and dropping the humbucker down. I really like the look, and once I switch out the bridge pu, it will probably be a nice guitar. Maybe I got a lemon. Maybe it sat in the warehouse too long. Wish I got one that other reviews rave about, but I didn't. I'll keep it and use it for mods, but based on my experience with this one guitar, I can't recommend you buy this guitar. I wish I could. Two stars because it looks great

I'm not a guitarist but this didn't look and feel like a new guitar. I bought it for someone and he checked it to make sure it was good. This is what he said. When the guitar was received the box was in shambles. It looked like the box had been crushed, fixed then re-taped and shipped out the door to me. The guitar itself was scratched and scuffed along the black and silver metal parts, as if someone already owned it, jammed with it then tossed it aside. Signs of a previous owner show deep embedded scratches along the black and silver parts. None of the items that went with the guitar were in bags like it would be with a brand new guitar. It just looked like a reject someone sent back to you and then my order came in and the reject was sent to me. Because I'm a single mother, barely making it I can't afford to purchase something different. He said he would keep it and try to get the scratches and scruffs out himself but I could tell he was super disappointed. So was I, your guitars are all he talks about and now he has it but its used. I've since wrapped it for Christmas so I can't post pictures to show you but I know he's not excited about the guitar anymore. Looking into other guitars and P-basses so I can save my duckets and try again somewhere else.

I saw some reviews on YouTube and decided to take a chance. I know that some budget guitars can be a huge disappointment, but people seem to like Glary. So I parted with the cash and waited for it to arrive, knowing that some of the guitars in YouTube reviews arrived with shipping damage. Upon inspection, I found a large crack in the back, and a smaller crack near the neck pocket. I was disappointed but I contacted Glarry via e-mail and it was no problem. They shipped out a replacement guitar right away. I was holding my breath when the replacement arrived and I found that it was in great condition. I have to say that I couldn't be happier. It doesn't sound like a $1000 guitar but at less than a tenth of that price, no one should expect it to. But it sounds far better than any sub-$100 has a right to sound. I'm extremely happy with it. It was very playable right out of the box, but I've made a couple of adjustments (truss rod, and saddles), and now it plays as nicely as any of my more expensive guitars. In fact, since it arrived, my three other guitars (all in the $600 range), haven't seen much use. Why wear out expensive guitars as you practice with the Glarry sounds so nice, plays so well, and looks just as good? My hat is off to Glarry. I have no problem recommending them to friends and family. In fact, I've done just that, and one family member bought two of them and seems to be very happy with the purchase.

This is the second guitar that I've bought from Glarry – I bought a GP Bass a year ago – and again Glarry have exceeded all expectations. As before, it arrived in 2 days (and this was the week before Xmas). The guitar is flawless and, apart from a tiny tweak of the intonation on the E and the A strings, the setup is fine. Some purists may not like the neck, but I actually love the flatter profile. Plugged in it sounds great – exactly like this style of guitar should. Just one tiny irritation – I had to take the scratch plate off to get the plastic film off the neck pickup. On the whole though I'm delighted. Again my shopping experience with Glarry UK has been a great one.

UPDATE: (3 stars) Major issue found but after I had setup in the first review. 1. The Bolt On Neck scews were not seated straight, and were apparently hand drilled at an angle? (See pictures) 2. Also these screws were screwed threw the Basswood body and into the Maple neck. The Fix? Was to do like Fender does and drill Pilot holes the same size as screws through the body, this allowed just enough relief to allow the Neck to seat properly into the pocket and screw heads to set flush in the Bolt On Plate's chamfers. I did not want to send back because of all the time spent setting up before I noticed this when removing the neck to inspect. Sigh First review below and is when I gave it 5 stars I received the Semi Hollow Telecaster on time and as it was advertised, great bones for the $$$. However, you should plan to do some or all of the following… The basic intonation was a bit funky and not quite right, investigating I found out that it was mainly because of the Bridge barrel height and the plastic neck Nut also set too high which I could have just filed and sanded but decided to just to replace OEM Nut with a Fender Tele, 42mm Bone Nut for max sustain, and presto it DIALED RIGHT IN! 🙂 I knew the guitar would probably have to be setup (Per other kind reviews and Randy Schartiger's setup tutorials like this: ) Randy's channel on How To Do Guitar Repair and or do Setups are all "On The Money" 🙂 So find one and tweak as required. That is, if a person has time to learn basic luthier setups and is handy with inspection tools then this is for you. Use mfgs Allen keys, a 6 inch straight edge, feeler gages, and a micrometer while leaving the mfg strings on; after Truss Rod adjustments settled down, (noticed it had too much relief when I lowered the bridge and nut, so I loosened the strings and tightened the Truss Rod which worked. All in all a nice configuration. Once the guitar is figure out completely I plan to -1. Fine sand and polish the neck. 2. Shield all the cavities against EMF noise. 3. Replace the Bridge Pup bc it is micro phonic and tinny. 4. Replace tuners with Tulip retro style ones, while using 10mm to 9mm conversion bushings. 5. Restring with Reg. Slinky Stings because the stock strings sound like a Sitar. (Stock strings, corrosion I thought after watching this video: 5. Replace OEM saddles with Brass compensated saddles, perhaps?

Not a bad guitar for the money. Only 2 issues…the fretboard has NO finish on it… there is some black paint sprayed over into the F-hole. However, these can be fixed. The finish is very nice. The fret ends are finished properly…no sharp ends. It plays and sounds really good.

I have had this guitar for a few weeks, I am a retired Fender guitar tech from Nashville. I had to cut the nut, the 3 way switch was wired wrong, but i have to tell you this tele is out standing, my action is 2/64ths at the 12th fret, no fret buzz, plays great, and people who say the pickups are weak do not know what they are talking about, they are higher output than most, i remove the cover from the neck pickup, this gives it more output, and a brighter sound. the finish is great , nice light body, I had a bad tuner and Glarry sent me a new one right away, fast shipping, you can compare this guitar with Mexican Fenders or better. Glarry customer service top notch.

It's a long while since I bought my first Glarry guitar, and they keep getting better. The neck frets and finish on this 24 fret Ibanez RG copy are close to perfect. I'll upgrade the bridge humbucker but I do upgrades on pricey guitars. Glarry seem to be using careful delivery firms now, so minimal packaging and free delivery is no longer a concern.

Great guitar! I would buy it again for sure. It's a great beginner guitar, or very capable of being 2nd guitar. The action is a little high out of the box but that's a pretty easy fix. Mine is very playable out of the box without needing a setup to play. Thank you

I've had mine for about a week now, and I gotta say I'm very impressed! The finish is beautiful and flawless, and the setup was almost spot on! I did lower the action by filing the nut a bit and adjusting the saddles, and put on a set of XL 10s, tuned her up and was ready to go! The middle pickup needed a height adjustment, but was still a bit weak compared to the humbucker, but not bad, and actually sounded really good with a lot of OD and/or distortion – which is probably what you'll want to use a guitar like this for, anyway, right? But I still wanted a bit more bite from the middle, so I installed a Wilkinson M series dual rail pickup, and HOlY CRAP! THAT DID THE TRICK!! Great sounds from all 3 pickups ( and all 5 switch positions) whether clean, slightly driven or full on metal!!! It is EXACTLY what i was looking for and for WAY less money than the nearest similar guitar! This a much better outcome than i really expected! Way to go, Glarry!!

TBH, I was sceptical. A little over a hundred bucks, how could a guitar be any good? It suffers from cheap hardware, but much more stable and playable than I was expecting. Unbelievably out of the box, this crazy thing was actually playable. How? The pickups sound ok, the strings were reasonable height. No sharp fret edges, the neck was straight, tuning keys aren't great, but they work. I wanted a guitar with humbuckers, since my other guitar is a stratocaster. It feels light and cheap, but everything works. The body style is cool, it screams "metal", but does blues just fine. This is out of the box, with no adjustment. I'm sure it would sound even better with a set of good strings. If it holds up to daily playing, an awesome bargain. Never heard of "Glarry", but so far it's decent.

Solid kit for a beginner. Good sound, good amp. The strap is flimsy and uncomfortable but it's cool they include one in the first place. The bag isnt anything special, I mainly use it to keep dust off the guitar. The bag came with a hole in it, but with it not being the most amazing material I wasnt suprised or angry. The amp is loud and has some nice sound options for experimenting with sound. Nothing too advanced or confusing, which I like being a total beginner. The guitar itself is a nice size. I'm on the smaller side, 5ft 0in, so when looking for a guitar to purchase I wanted something small. The strings are strong and stay tuned. I hadn't played for a few days and when picking it back up I barely needed to adjust the tuners. Overall it's a great kit for the money to dip your toes into playing. Even with the flimsy and cheap material of the gig bag and strap, the fact its included is killer in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Red Burning Fire Combo Pack For the price point, it's not a bad deal at all. The guitar had no real defects (like sprung frets, sharp fret ends, high frets, loose frets, etc.). The guitar was well packaged for shipment – showed no signs of damage by rough handling. Unfortunately, upon opening the package, it was clear I'd been sent a guitar that had been sitting for a bit after being built. It was unplayable out of the box, needing a neck adjustment to straighten the neck. The strings were coated with some sort of build up, as well. And the fretboard was in dire need of conditioning. Having said that, everything was addressable with a string change and quick set-up. After the setup and string change, the guitar plays quite well, having no dead frets or fret buzz. Overall, I would recommend the product to others – with a caveat that the instrument most likely will need a little TLC to be ready to play.

UPS really screwed up but Lynn took care of it. Guitar came out of the box with tons of rusted parts and a broken neck pickup/switch after UPS left it laying in the rain even though we have a full covering for packages. Just want to thank Lynn for being helpful on this matter. Can't really give a review of the instrument but to me it feels just like my AX120 and my old Firefly Double Cut. For the money it's hard to beat this set-neck guitar.

Best $180 guitar! I like to but cheaper (less than $300) guitars and upgrade them. This guitar out of the box was great. It plays very nice. It looks awesome as well, speckled gold is cool to look at. I did swamp out the tuners as it was not holding tune.

I understand this is a 99 USD guitar and you are doing your best to keep the price low to make it affordable to many but…two issues I have noticed from the get go. A minor issue is related to the frets edges which were sharp, I played it a bit to realize it had scratched my hand in a way that I'm still waiting for those scratches to heal, in the meantime I have used a file to smooth the edges, so that can be considered fixed, would be great if you could take care of smoothen it before shipping, the first impression is always the most important and believe me those edges impress, negatively. The major issue are the tuners, very low quality and don't keep the tune, in my particular case the G tuner didn't work as expected and most of the tuners are not precise at all, I bought the Grover 6-in-line mini rotomatics for 60 USD, I hope that'll fix it. FYI, I bought this to experiment with a GK-3 installation so I'm using it for my Frankenstein tests. Best regards.

I normally am apprehensive on any discount guitar simply because the "standard" is usually considerably more. And that in some ways still holds true. But if you want to play and you don't have hundreds to drop on an entry level guitar, this one exceeds expectations. Bought for my son to start learning and he loves it. He wanted a red Strat and being 6 I didn't want to buy a pricey unit to start. This was the cheapest guitar on the website and I am still smiling at the choice. It feels solid, neck allows for good fret progression and allows for smooth transition. One thing I am very impressed with is that it holds tuning. Very rare in this price point. It could use finishing touches like tightening screws on the pick ups and smoother fret wires, but nothing to deny it's value and favorable playability. For the price it still wins the day. If I had extra money I would try their Telecaster version for myself, that is how impressed I am. Keep improving the product, you're on the right track to introduce more people to music. Thank you Glarry for the better than expected guitar. You made my kids day.

I like the exceptionally light weight (that's why I bought this guitar), and tones from middle and neck pickup are nice. Problems include: sharp ends of the frets need to be filed down, fret heights are uneven so the frets need dressing (i.e., sanding) to avoid buzzing with strings at a reasonable height, bridge pickup is exceptionally harsh (I replaced it), neck is far too thick unless you have enormous hands (I wear large size men's gloves), and nut grooves bind strings and prevent proper tuning (some grooves need enlargement). In comparison, of these problems, the $100 strat from Monoprice has only an excessively thick neck. In sum, this guitar is not completely finished and has a very thick neck. If you will finish it yourself and replace the bridge pickup–and you have very large hands or can plane and sand the neck thinner–this guitar is a reasonable purchase and is worth 3 stars. Otherwise, this is no substitute for a finished guitar and is worth 1 star. I spent 15 minutes sanding the frets, 1.5 hrs planing and refinishing the neck, a half hour replacing the bridge pickup (I already had a good replacement), and 10 minutes adjusting the nut grooves. All that remains is fixing the sharp fret ends.

In comparison, of these problems, the $100 strat from Monoprice has only an excessively thick neck. In sum, this guitar is not completely finished and has a very thick neck. If you will finish it yourself and replace the bridge pickup–and you have very large hands or can plane and sand the neck thinner–this guitar is a reasonable purchase and is worth 3 stars. Otherwise, this is no substitute for a finished guitar and is worth 1 star. I spent 15 minutes sanding the frets, 1.5 hrs planing and refinishing the neck, a half hour replacing the bridge pickup (I already had a good replacement), and 10 minutes adjusting the nut grooves. All that remains is fixing the sharp fret ends.

ok the Glp101,First let me say i have bought several guitars from Glarry, GTL Semi-Hollow Electric, GST-E Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar Blue, love the skull paint job, loved the finish on the tele. Both of those were perfect. Now the GLP 101 the finish is scuffed very badly it almost looks like a return, no plastic on the pickups, scuffed up where most guitars are scuffed when played without a pickguard. Neck relief was off so bad when you tuned it up the strings buzzed on the first fret. ok i fixed that so no problem. But the finish, if this guitar hasn't been shipped to someone an then returned you sure need to have a talk with your Q C People i'm not sure if I can even buff out the scratches. The fret ends feel good and after i reset the neck and tuned it up it plays pretty decent. But I am still not happy with this one. I bought it I fixed the main stuff so I will keep it. Nuff Said on this one. Ok. Now the GGS101 the finish looks more like it should, the binding on the upper horn is a little sloppy but unless you were really looking for it you probably wouldn't notice it. Now the wiring is a different matter. It wouldn't hurt to place the wires in a cable shield instead of having all those loose multi colored wires showing thru the F hole. Mine even had the Yellow, Black, and red wire hooked up and over the lower part of the F Hole i had to un hook them and shove the back down inside the guitar, also the screw that holds the pick guard to the bracket is missing the nut and I don't have anything that small, so until i can find a nut to fit that small screw I have removed the pickguard and bracket till I find a nut to fit the screw. As with the other guitar I bought it i worked on it so i will keep it. But as i said before you need to improve your Quality Control. Vast improvement on your gig bags tho these both were very nice. And I will still buy from Glarry there are a couple of guitars that I still want when they come back in stock.

This is my first Glarry guitar that I'm less than impressed with. Not only did it arrive damaged but also arrived with defects. I needed the guitar in a big hurry for a show that was only three days away. I did not have time to wait for another to arrive, so I decided to repair this guitar myself. The guitar arrived with the pickup selector switch broken off at the metal stem. There are also heavy black marks on back of the neck. It took 600 grit sandpaper to reduce these marks. The marks apparently go deep into the wood. The body of the guitar looks like it was poorly sanded before painting but it's good enough for a rowdy bar guitar. Lastly the nut was not glued on at all. It drifted both directions while playing. I did not have time to send this guitar back and wait for another. However, I will send any future Glarry guitar I purchase back if it arrives in such a poor condition. Had someone else ended up with this guitar who didn't have the means to take care of it, they would have had a big hassle. Do better next time Glarry!

UPDATE: (3 stars) Major issue found but after I had setup in the first review. 1. The Bolt On Neck scews were not seated straight, and were apparently hand drilled at an angle? (See pictures) 2. Also these screws were screwed threw the Basswood body and into the Maple neck. The Fix? Was to do like Fender does and drill Pilot holes the same size as screws through the body, this allowed just enough relief to allow the Neck to seat properly into the pocket and screw heads to set flush in the Bolt On Plate's chamfers. I did not want to send back because of all the time spent setting up before I noticed this when removing the neck to inspect. Sigh First review below and is when I gave it 5 stars I received the Semi Hollow Telecaster on time and as it was advertised, great bones for the $$$. However, you should plan to do some or all of the following… The basic intonation was a bit funky and not quite right, investigating I found out that it was mainly because of the Bridge barrel height and the plastic neck Nut also set too high which I could have just filed and sanded but decided to just to replace OEM Nut with a Fender Tele, 42mm Bone Nut for max sustain, and presto it DIALED RIGHT IN! 🙂 I knew the guitar would probably have to be setup (Per other kind reviews and Randy Schartiger's setup tutorials like this: ) Randy's channel on How To Do Guitar Repair and or do Setups are all "On The Money" 🙂 So find one and tweak as required. That is, if a person has time to learn basic luthier setups and is handy with inspection tools then this is for you. Use mfgs Allen keys, a 6 inch straight edge, feeler gages, and a micrometer while leaving the mfg strings on; after Truss Rod adjustments settled down, (noticed it had too much relief when I lowered the bridge and nut, so I loosened the strings and tightened the Truss Rod which worked. All in all a nice configuration. Once the guitar is figure out completely I plan to -1. Fine sand and polish the neck. 2. Shield all the cavities against EMF noise. 3. Replace the Bridge Pup bc it is micro phonic and tinny. 4. Replace tuners with Tulip retro style ones, while using 10mm to 9mm conversion bushings. 5. Restring with Reg. Slinky Stings because the stock strings sound like a Sitar. (Stock strings, corrosion I thought after watching this video: 5. Replace OEM saddles with Brass compensated saddles, perhaps?

Not a bad guitar for the money. Only 2 issues…the fretboard has NO finish on it… there is some black paint sprayed over into the F-hole. However, these can be fixed. The finish is very nice. The fret ends are finished properly…no sharp ends. It plays and sounds really good.

I have had this guitar for a few weeks, I am a retired Fender guitar tech from Nashville. I had to cut the nut, the 3 way switch was wired wrong, but i have to tell you this tele is out standing, my action is 2/64ths at the 12th fret, no fret buzz, plays great, and people who say the pickups are weak do not know what they are talking about, they are higher output than most, i remove the cover from the neck pickup, this gives it more output, and a brighter sound. the finish is great , nice light body, I had a bad tuner and Glarry sent me a new one right away, fast shipping, you can compare this guitar with Mexican Fenders or better. Glarry customer service top notch.

I understand this is a 99 USD guitar and you are doing your best to keep the price low to make it affordable to many but…two issues I have noticed from the get go. A minor issue is related to the frets edges which were sharp, I played it a bit to realize it had scratched my hand in a way that I'm still waiting for those scratches to heal, in the meantime I have used a file to smooth the edges, so that can be considered fixed, would be great if you could take care of smoothen it before shipping, the first impression is always the most important and believe me those edges impress, negatively. The major issue are the tuners, very low quality and don't keep the tune, in my particular case the G tuner didn't work as expected and most of the tuners are not precise at all, I bought the Grover 6-in-line mini rotomatics for 60 USD, I hope that'll fix it. FYI, I bought this to experiment with a GK-3 installation so I'm using it for my Frankenstein tests. Best regards.

I normally am apprehensive on any discount guitar simply because the "standard" is usually considerably more. And that in some ways still holds true. But if you want to play and you don't have hundreds to drop on an entry level guitar, this one exceeds expectations. Bought for my son to start learning and he loves it. He wanted a red Strat and being 6 I didn't want to buy a pricey unit to start. This was the cheapest guitar on the website and I am still smiling at the choice. It feels solid, neck allows for good fret progression and allows for smooth transition. One thing I am very impressed with is that it holds tuning. Very rare in this price point. It could use finishing touches like tightening screws on the pick ups and smoother fret wires, but nothing to deny it's value and favorable playability. For the price it still wins the day. If I had extra money I would try their Telecaster version for myself, that is how impressed I am. Keep improving the product, you're on the right track to introduce more people to music.
