The guitar itself is quite nicely built, but the app, which is supposed to help your kids learn the chords etc. is demoralizingly bad. It's hard to explain to a 5 year old why, after following the daily items (tune your guitar, practice some chords etc.) they don't get the points for completion. As a software engineer, I fail to see why it's okay to leave this basic functionality broken. Furthermore, the app appears to be abandonware. I see no updates or fixes. The 'Games' section has been 'coming soon' for months. The app should be removed from the site as a selling point, since it is basically broken. Just be aware when you buy this guitar, the app is not going to work.Ben
My 6 year old really loves the thing. She strums it and goes to it often without prompt. She can’t really get her fingers down onto the fretboard to play a chord, but she knows that those cards are instructions. She carries them around and tries playing them with the guitar on a flat surface. She also still doesn’t have a great sense of the guitar as an instrument, that’s to be taken care of, and not banged around like a toy. I think by the time she’s 8, this thing will be perfect for her. If you guys made something a little more towards the toddler end of the spectrum, I’d pick it up in a heartbeat. I understand and greatly appreciate that you’ve scaled down a real electric guitar. Phenomenal concept. Greatly happy with it. If there was something a little more durable, and a little easier for little fingers to hold the notes, I’d pick that up for sure. Great idea, great product, pretty nice app.James C.
Bought a Loog mini for my 9y old. He seems to like Guitar and I can play a bit , but whenever we tried on my Ovation he got very frustrated. Heard about the Loog 3 string and it made sense to me. Ultimately, this guitar is terrific! It seems to be one of the few Squiers that has better than not appointments (considering the fact that they are generally "bare bones" in terms of body woods, etc …) If you're new & want a good single coil strat sound…..yep…….if you know what you're doing already & want a strat you can woop on……yep…..if you want a nice sounding guitar that would normally cost a few $$ more for equal quality?? ……..still yep…… Automatically, add a couple sets of strings to your cart too (I snagged a couple DR Blues 10-46 sets, although the stock Fenders don't sound bad at all honestly) & stretch em on! The only tuning issues I experienced was due to needing to stretch em out a few times to stay tuned (***….tug the string from bridge to nut, back n forth like you were playing a chello with a bow hahaha ….., while also continuing to tune them back up repeatedly). From there, you should be dialed & throughly enjoy this killer, cost efficient strat just about as much as you'd appreciate one that cost a grand!!! Cheers!!T Dogg
This is an incredible guitar ! I bought it as a modding platform, but after having spent a few hours with it, I quickly decided it what mostly stay untouched. These are economic tuners, but man do they stay in tune. After polishing and dressing the frets, graphite-ing the nut, and replacing the strings, I had to tune twice in a 2 week period ! The original plan was to replace them with vintage style tuners, but why waste the money, they're great ! I bought the shell pink, and the color, fit and finish are perfect. It weighs 7.5 lbs, so on the lighter side, which I love. The neck has a better looking wood grain than my Vintage Modified '70s, and about the same feel, at least I don't feel a difference. I don't know if it's because of the top load hard tail bridge or what, but this guitar is VERY resonant, and sustains forever. The pick ups are definitely not top of the line, as the price implies, but they sound really good. My original plan was to replace them with Kent Armstrongs, but I really liked the neck PU a lot, and while I don't have strong opinions either way about the middle and bridge, I thought I would try replacing the electronics first. I installed a Gunstreet Wiring Shop Blender harness (blends neck and bridge PUs), and now I get all the tones I could possibly want. I'm definitely keeping the stock PUs ! Like I said, with a little fine tuning of the set up, it plays and sounds like a dream, looks fantastic, and is priced incredibly well. I couldn't recommend it more.Playin for fun

If you're looking for a guitar for your kid or grandkids to learn on, do them a favor and spend a little more for a real guitar. My wife bought this. The tone is poor and I would call it barely playable. As a guitarist myself, I thought maybe switching out the strings would be an improvement. It was but not by much. Sounds just really don't ring out much when your finger a chord on the fretboard. Just got my guitar yesterday. Here are my thoughts. The packaging was decent and in the original Mitchell box. The guitar itself was in excellent condition and it was brand new. The piece is a beauty. It feels good only two issues. One is that the fret ends are a bit rough and second the truss rod cap was a bit loose. Other than that the guitar is beautiful. It plays very decent and I am a beginner so won't be able to give a very technical input.Numair
I have a few Mitchells, and none are bad guitars, though I have had to work on every single one of them, and this one was no exception. The guitar itself has a decent feel, and the pickups aren't horrible. I did have to do some big neck adjustments and file down some frets to get rid of fret buzz and dead frets. After some time working on it, I do enjoy playing it. It's really good for sitting around practicing if you want to save mileage on your more expensive guitars. I cannot say however that I would recommend this guitar unless you know how to work on it.Gorden
I bought this for my daughter and am experienced at guitars set ups. Out the the box its ok for a beginner. But Not for me. So I adjusted the neck and action. Intonation was way off. Neck adjusted easily. Action I was able to get to 1.75mm at 12th fret on low e with no fret buzz. Same as my ESP guitar. The guitar did intonate perfectly. Pickups are fine for a beginner. After a good set up I would play the guitar. Pickup is just ok. If you are a serious player then this guitar could be great as a beater. Proper set up. Vuy a used Seymore Duncan off ebay and throw in the bridge for cheap. Rough up paint and spray the finish with a can up duplicolor and clear coat it. Im considering getting one for myself and doing all of the above. I would have less than $200 in it. I guitar I keep on stand, not case and grab to play. If I ding it up I don't care. The neck was a little rough. I hit with 7000 grit paper and the neck is fast and good. Or if they lower price on other colors to $99 I might buy one of each color.dwsguitars

I purchased the electric guitar and amplifier for my child for Christmas he specifically asked for this particular one. It is Christmas Eve and I have put it together with batteries and it will not work. The amplifier does absolutely nothing when the guitar is plugged in nor does the microphone. Very nice charvel dk24 in like-new condition. purchased on july 22, 2020 from sweetwater. played for no more than two hours so it is pretty much new. does not come with the case pictured but the whammy bar and allen hex wrench are included.few factory but incredibly minor blemishes: 3rd, 12th, and 13th frets have surface marks that are only seen if you tilt the guitar at a certain angle – they cannot be felt while playing. i can guarantee 99% of people won't care. not a b-stock or 2nd instrument, and i verified with my sweetwater rep that this guitar was straight from the factory and not a return.i'm selling this because the nut width is a little too wide for me. it's 1.687 (1 11/16) inches or 42.8 mm which is popular but i play faster with a 1 5/8" width. however, the compound radius and roasted neck is the best i've ever played. super smooth and comfortable.

Overall: Let's start at the top. I have never had a guitar with in house tuners that are this good. The charvel locking tuners are phenomenal. Very smooth and precise, every bit as good as any gotoh tuners I've used. The nut does what it's supposed to, I've not had any tuning issues due to friction when using the trem. The neck. My god the neck is fantastic. It's a very comfortable thin shape that works for me perfectly. It is very very close to as smooth as my strandberg. The frets are about the only thing that leaves a bit to be desired. They're polished and rounded very nicely, however there are sharp edges. Pretty much every fret, bass and treble side. It isn't to the point where it's uncomfortable to play, but noticeable. I absolutely love the spoke truss rod adjustment wheel, not that I've needed to use it. The neck joint is absolutely the most comfortable bolt on I've ever played. The pickups are fantastic as well, not super high output but the clarity is insane. Exactly what I was looking for. The gotoh bridge was probably my biggest surprise. I've never played a non locking trem that actually stayed in tune and even after abusing it like I would a Floyd, lo and behold, still in tune! It's very comfortable as well. The output jack placement is genius and is comfortable in any sitting position. It would be perfect for sticking the cable in between the strap and guitar. I know it's cliche, but the pictures do not do it justice. It is a stunning guitar. The satin burgundy mist is about the coolest color I've seen on a guitar and compliments the roasted maple neck perfectly. Overall, the fit and finish of the guitar, aside from the frets, is flawless. I would still 100% recommend this guitar to anyone. It would be a great guitar for any type of music you play.
Overall: Not much more I can add to what’s been said so far (hit or miss QA, super smooth neck, really nice finish, crazy number of sonically pleasing tones, premium components work great..); it really is an excellent guitar. The matte blue version of this guitar I received had a really janky and loose pickup selector switch, so I had it swapped out for the exact part used in the (*ahem* almost identical $3500!!!!) American version. The fret edges were finished smooth right out of the box, but it badly needed a setup. Once that was done, it was perfect. It’s almost effortless to access all of the frets. The tremolo is different than a traditional Stratocaster style 2-point trem in that it’s way more sensitive and much tighter and way more stable. The only issue I’m having with it is, because of where the volume knob is and my way of playing, I roll the volume down on accident quite a bit. Kinda takes the edge off of a solo when it’s fading out as it’s building up. Also, I’ll eventually swap out the no-load tone control for a conventional one. The stock no-load tone control works just fine to control the tone, but I don’t like the extra click when it’s dialed all the way up. And at this price it should come with a bag.
On paper, a pink strat style guitar with humbuckers would be the last guitar I'd want to play. However seeing this Charvel Pro-Mod Dk24 on the wall in it's sort of darker pink (burgundy mist) just caught my eye so I played it. I knew I found a real player's guitar. The color grew on me even more and the functionality was great. Humbuckers you can run as single coils with the 5 way switch is very practical. I didn't want to put it down. Super strats have always been very versatile but I've never dreamed of buying one just because I always found the styling to be extreme. However the color is kind of soothing. The neck didn't leave much of an impression but I think that there's something nice about not having to think about the neck. If it works and I don't have to think about it, so be it. Played rock through a little orange amp well yet it also sounded beautiful with a lush clean sound through a Fender Princeton. I think super strat type guitars are starting to come around to the market. Between the Silver Sky the PRS Fiore I think the more mellow color/designs with the versatility they've always had are making super strats more desirable to new guitarists. This one's a great one.G

I suspect that our review will be screened out because it is not positive, but if you really want to know we were very disappointed with the guitar. I’m addition to some quality concerns, the guitar reeked of fumes. I had hope to enroll our child in local classes that use the guitar but I could not, as responsible parent give my child an item that I could not be around with our lung pain and head-aces. After many, many weeks attempting to air the guitar out it still smelled just as awful and caused the same health concerns. When I reached out Loog sent me a letter stating that the fumes were an unfortunate quality control issue but they deemed them safe. I was horrified that a company manufacturing items for children would so easily disregard their health, as previously stated I could not be in the same space as the guitar for more than a few seconds with out lung pain and head-aces, nothing about that is okay.Heather B.
I purchased a Loog Mini for my 3-year old toddler. It is a darling guitar that is just what I was looking for…However, here are my issues with it: (1) Upon arrival, I noticed that there was a cosmetic blemish on it. I didn't want to bother with a return process, so I kept it. (2) A few weeks later, I noticed that one of the guitar strings had rusted. (3) As the Loog company is in the business of children's guitars, it should equally invest in a wider selection of children's guitar straps. It is impossible to find one to accommodate my child's size. (4) The flash cards are cute but not very helpful. More emphasis is placed on the illustrations, rather than on the musical notes. Additionally, I don't find the Loog application helpful in my child's learning so we have taken to YouTube to provide us a better understanding. I've been playing the guitar for about 20 years, and I've made it a habit to play to my 8 month old son every evening since he was born. His attention and focus towards the guitar was immediate, where he wants to hit the fretboard and pull on the strings as I play. I would hand him my acoustic as I played the electric and he would enjoy exploring it for a good 15 minutes. I came across the Loog a while back and decided to buy my son one so that he could continue to explore the guitar while decreasing my worries of him damaging my fairly nice acoustic. I'm impressed with its quality and durability, and I find myself picking it up to play fairly often too. Because it's only 3 strings, it's also helped my wife and sister, who have never played the guitar, feel less intimidated to try it out. They're using the flashcards and app to learn simple chords and songs. Schecter just dominates in this class. I always like to wait a year to give reviews but it was hard to wait with this guitar.
From the fast, satin smooth neck, to the low action and the tuning stability, it's just hard to believe the quality in this price range. It feels every bit as nice as my pricier guitars and that's NOT hyperbole, it's the truth.

If half stars were available, I might go 4.5 just because the active pickups, while honestly good, aren't "great".. But at this price point? I'm probably expecting too much because the feel and playability of the guitar keeps making me compare to higher classed categories.

I'd like to see schecter push their alternative passive pickup guitars more, just so the market would have increased availability.

I love this guitar! It has a great sound for rock, metal and other genre music, but mainly for metal, it's so perfect. I actually traded a Ibanez Xiphos hp330, because I was tired of the floyd rose floating saddle bridge. Nothing against it, but it wasn't for me. The Ibanez had a great sound, played beautifully and definitely good metal guitar, but I wanted something with an easier bridge. I'm glad that I bought the Schecter when Guitar Center had their annual guitar a-thon sale, and I traded my Ibanez for the Schecter and didn't cost me much. For the money it's well worth it, it's a solid guitar, electronics are great, the neck is smooth and fast, the finish is awesome and a reall eye catcher. I'm very happy with the guitar overall. I also have a Schecter bass. The stiletto and I love the Schecter brand. I'll recomend it to anyone ,from the beginner to the experience player, you can't go wrong with this guitar.John
Let me start out by saying I'm a little bias towards Schecter. That being said , this is my 3rd and probably my favorite one. I currently own the demon-6 and have owned the Synyster Gates custom S , not my style so traded it in. The Omen Extremely is absolutely amazing sounding and my favorite out of the 3 I've owned , the pickups are way better than my Demon with active pickups , these can easily handle high gains without crackling or sounding muffled. I didn't really necessarily want the coil splitting option , but glad i have it. This guitar handles clean sounds very well and the splitting option gives the guitar a lot of versatility , the neck is perfect. It reminds me of my Ibanez's , very comfortable and easy to play , it's heavier than most of my other guitars but this just adds to the sustain you get out of this guitar. I got the magenta color , which looks pink to me since I'm color blind. That's all they had in stock but I don't care , it's fine and I play at home plus it throws in some color to my collection of mostly black anyway. I don't know how Schecter continues to put these out for the price , it's solidly built and feels much more expensive. The tuners also are very tight and hardly ever go out of tune , I will continue to purchase Schecter's in the future. I can buy 4 quality built guitars from this company for the price of one Gibson. I highly recommend the Omen Extreme to anyone on the fence , once again Schecter delivers!🤘Mike G.

This is a great guitar. If you aren't familiar with classic vibe series, look into them. They are like the cheaper versions of the vintera series from fender. I could tell right away my guitar was played on a bunch in the CME store or it was damaged and repaired at fender. Plastic wraps were all beat up and dirty and the tuners were removed and the neck was buffed. Swirl and tiny scratch marks left all over the headstock. Aside from it being "new" it came to me like a demo model. The guitar needed the saddles adjusted to match the fretboard radius. Was intonated correctly. Every other classic vibe i bought new was pristine, no buff marks etc. I realize these were listed at 399 plus tax but i feel i got a demo or factory second. Considering not doing any more business with CME. The guitar should have been listed as scratch and dent or something with a reasonable discount. I feel CME could have made my experience better by being more thorough and more responsive with the live chat. Cool guitar just not factory fresh like all my other purchases. I am leaving a 5 star review for the product itself. Again i feel CME could have made my experience more personal not just like im shopping on amazon or some other a.i. based customer service website.
Excellent guitar for the money……I originally purchased the Burgundy Mist 60s Stratocaster and liked it so much I also got the Classic Vibe 50s version. Since then I have picked up a second Classic Vibe 60s Stratocaster. I always heard nice things about these Squier guitars, but never really gave them a chance. I usually play my American Standard or Deluxe Stratocasters, and kind of looked down on these as cheaper copies. I recently purchased a Limited Edition American Vintage '65 Stratocaster in Burgundy Mist, but the Squier Classic Vibe 60s Stratocaster is more fun to play! I do prefer the sound of the 60s Classic Vibe over the 50s one……Not that the 50s is a bad choice, but it has the Alnico III Pickups, which are not as punchy as the Alnico V Pickups in the 60s version. These Squier Classic Vibes have an excellent fit and finish, unlike some other brands that offer cheaper alternatives. They are lightweight and balanced with a very solid feel. Wow…people weren't kidding. This thing is a beast right out of the box. Fit and finish is what you'd expect on a Mexican Fender. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter….well, that's what I told my wife anyway. After playing it I might keep it for myself. I watched countless YouTube videos where folks go on and on about how great they were. After going on clearance I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a burgundy mist with matching headstock. They're quality guitars much nicer than my Squier II that I started with as a teenager in the mid-nineties. I will say I'm not crazy about the pickups, they're not terrible by any means but an experienced ear can tell they're lower quality. A set of Texas specials or even Tex-Mex pickups would turn the guitar into a absolute screamer. If I was gonna go that far I'd probably replace the dime sized volume and tone pots for good measure as well. That being said as far as a first guitar goes this is a beautiful place to start. It'd be a guitar that would be a joy to play for any level player. If you're an intermediate to experienced player this is a solid platform to modify and experiment with. They can be bought cheap enough that you can feel comfortable upgrading some of the budget appointments. Vintage frets feel nice, no sharp edges. They do cut corners here and there. The rosewood fretboard is laughably thin BUT had I not owned Mexican and American strats previously I probably would have never noticed. It's also pretty light bordering on too light but that can be an advantage for younger/smaller players. Overall though I'm thrilled with my purchase. **If you're a parent shopping for a budding guitarist pay the extra money. Nothing discourages a beginner guitarist like a guitar that is poorly set up and uncomfortable to play and I put a lot of the base model squiers into that category. This is a gorgeous guitar and plays amazingly well. The frets are rounded perfectly with no jagged edges. The frets are polished extremely well. The body is very comfortable, and the Duncan JB and '59 pickups are THE standard in rock pickups especially if you want those 80's rock tones ala VH, Ratt, Crue. BUT the ability to SPLIT the pickups makes this guitar extremely versatile for Blues, Country, and even Jazz if you roll the Tone off to warm it up. The Pro-Mod San Dimas is a sure to be a classic – Charvel guitars from the 80's are still highly sought after and retain their value very well. Not many people like to get rid of them though because they play so well and are made with quality craftsmanship. The Transparent Green Burst finish is gorgeous too. The spoke wheel makes for on the flow truss rod adjustments and it is DOUBLE reinforced – which makes it very resistant to warping. And finally, the Floyd Rose system is not the cheap version. The studs are quality metal which ensures smooth movement, the arm is also closer to the original FR bar which is also nice. TIP: wrap some plumbers tape along the outside of the collar to help close the space between it and the arm to tighten it so it doesn't swing so easily (old school trick 😉 FR bridges are incredibly stable and once you tine them and lock them down they stay in tune VERY well. Get a tremolo stabilizer or block it down to make string changes easier. Get this guitar – the combination of a basswood body, maple neck, jumbo frets, JB and '59 pickups, and a quality Floyd Rose bridge make this THE standard for rock and metal guitars. Sure, there are more expensive guitars that might have a bit more to offer…but for a grand? This is really superb quality and value rolled into one. The pickups are more than great. Seymour Duncans all around. JB in the bridge with no load tone. Cool thing is, if you feel its a tad too bright, just click down to 8 or 7 and it warms up nicely. I was afraid of the no load tone pot at first, but the little click helps tremendously. You know exactly where you are. The neck feels great. Like a thin C shaped Fender. Super fast! HSS config gives you plenty of options. It comes equipped with a Floyd 1000. Not their number one unit, but it is just fine and stays in tune very well. Even after a few dive bombs. I dont generally live in that realm, but nice to know it will hold its tune. Another thing, the guitar came set up just perfect for me. Zero adjustments needed. They're too darn huge and I often wish I knew that before buying this. The block where the neck is bolted on is huge and playing passed the 17th fret is tough. The pickup switch has a "dead spot" when switching so it's possible to go silent when moving the switch. I wish I tried the DK 24 HH FR before buying this because I feel that I would've been way more satisfied. Overall it's a great guitar. Overall: Ok this the SEW 751 without the DiMarzio pickups. I've got two Fender Strats and in my opinion the necks are the big difference here. Mine arrived with a great factory set up. I've bought Ibanez guitars in the past with just unplayable setups from the factory. The pickup's are outstanding clear clean an bright. Add a little dirt and your in heaven. If your a bedroom player this guitar is just about all you need. (Fender Smender) Guitars have come along way in the last 40 years. The Pink is Killer it's more of a Lavender Purple that nobody else has. Just buy one.
Overall: I love this guitar.. I have owned it for a month now and everything is pretty good. I appreciate the lightweight at my age and the fretboard is easy access . No real Downers.. the tuners are spot on. The looks get noticed. It's chiseled nicely out of meranti.. it sounds very vibrant.. even the bridge pickup has a good brightness to it. Overall: I've played on lots of Ibanez's. I currently own this and a Grx70. This has to be hands down the best sounding one I have ever played on. From what I seen on YouTube is the single coils are Alnico and the humbucker is ceramic. Much as I like a good alnico in the bridge these pickups blend so we'll together. The Neck pickup is sounds so alive and makes that "chick" sound when you dead note the strings. These single coils also sound good with high gain. If I can describe the sound "Versatile that does it nearly flawlessly." But all was not well when it came in. Ibanez claims to have set these up before shipping them out and mine was anything but. Even more cheaper Ibanez's I have ordered came in with better set-ups. For starts my sting action was way way too high. For having 10 gauge strings this is a big no no. It was very hard to play. If that wasn't bad enough the pickups were also raised too high with them nearly touching the strings. Whomever set this up seriously needs a 101 in it. My neck is ok. It has some relief in it with out any noticable buzz. The look and feel on this seems like it would be higher priced. The seafoam green matte body screams premium and the thin contour strat shape is enough to make you drool. It's most definitely a very sexy guitar that looks like professionals would use. No sharp or uneven frets but I have one tiny weird dot on my 7th fret marker from the top. Doesn't effect playing but it is there. This guitar is very very comfortable to play. Overall with the slight imperfections this is Ibanez's best budget model hands down. Very pleased with the sound and feel of this and it's definitely a keeper. I seriously recommend it if you want a guitar that does it all.

I love this guitar! The neck feels so good and the roasted maple looks so good and makes it look like a much more expensive guitar. No sharp frets, all pretty level, and no fret buzz at all straight out of the box. It was tuned down a half step for shipping, and it took me about 30 min to stretch the strings and get it to stay in tune. Once it did, I whammyed the heck out of it and I could not knock it out of tune. I play mostly 80s metal like Ratt, Dokken, Motley, and it can handle that style. I'll probably put a hotter bridge pickup in at some point, but the stock one is actually pretty good. Tuners seem to work pretty well, and I don't believe it's the original Floyd Rose model, but it seems to work just fine. Once I get it setup I can see this becoming my favorite guitar. I love playing it. The pink color is very subtle, it's not a shocking pink. Very elegant. It's such a unique and well built guitar and a super value at this price.Brian
For the price it should probably be five stars to be fair. The volume and tone knob look cheep and plasticy, easily replaced, and I'm still not sure about the .pickups. All personal opinion though. Other than that the guitar is genuinely brilliantly, light weight, great paint finish, absolutely gorgeous neck both to look at and play. I now have three Squire guitars and will happily buy another they are really good. So yea, possibly deserves five stars, but not quiteReviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Think of this as the alternative to Stat/Tele single coil world. Looks cool and roasted neck is nice (wide frets, deeper neck) though mine had sharps. Lightweight, similar quality to ClassicVibe. Pickups are alnico and very unlike typ Stat pickups, def modern sounding. 4 of the 5 positions are unique (aside from neck pickup solo), including all 3-on, and middle "tele" combo (which you never get in a standard strat). The "middle" pickup solo is weird as its near the bridge. Its got lead sounds in 1 and 5 + 3 essentially rhythm options. Its all rather interesting and you will find yourself trying to compare these positions to standard Strat sounds, but its a unique beast.Go_Pats

Amazingly, this guitar is actually not too bad for a beginner. It has a decent sound, the amp is of acceptable quality for a beginner, and it actually stays in tune fairly well. I would have to say that I was highly disappointed in this guitar set. I purchased one for my son as he is very interested in learning the guitar. It was purchased for his Christmas gift only to open it up on Christmas for it to not work at all. So we brushed it off and said “things happen.” We decided to purchase another one after having to explain to a 5 year old that he can’t play with his guitar on Christmas. Just received the second guitar only to find that it does not work either. Please find another option as these guitars are poorly made and for the price I can’t believe that they would sell something like this. BEWARE you have been warned!CHUNT

The guitar kit came in fairly quickly, but right away there was a problem. It came with five strings, with what was left of the sixth stuck in the guitar, the tuner was shattered, and the kit was missing the Allen wrenches and the picks. The box was loosely packed with no styrofoam or anything, with the guitar in the gig bag and the rest of the stuff thrown into the pocket besides the amp. Seems like it was either a rushed job, or all come boxed like that. The guitar plays alright once the strings were replaced, but it loses tuning pretty quick. Theres obvious signs of neglect such as body chips near the neck, and scratches on the pick guard. The finish on the guitar is pretty nice, and it feels alright in the hands. I wouldnt recommend if you expect everything to come as described in the picture though.jonaba4165
Great little set for beginners or even intermediates as you get the whole package. The tuner is very nice and works well. Everything to get started and the guitar itself feels very solid and has better than average settings for the sounds you'd want. The extra strings were fine but I'm adding a better quality set which I already had anyway. Either way you can't go wrong on this package. The amp has good settings and sounds nice. This guitar is beautiful and easy to tune. I got the pink version. At first I was a little concerned how the color will look in real life. However, when the guitar arrived it was beautiful. An absolute delight to look at. I will say for the price this guitar is solidly constructed. The straps and electronic tuner that comes with it is awesome. It also came with several plastic plectrums. The guitar itself is a good size but not heavy. Yes, I love this guitar and I will recommend it. Now, please note that I am not a professional guitar player, so this is ideal for my intended purpose. I do not know how a professional guitar player will view this since their expectations might be different.Edekin
Although the style and look of the guitar is amazing, along with all of the accessories, the biggest issue is the making of the guitar. The strings placement above the neck and along the guitar is too high up. It needs to sit parallel to the whole neck. It rises higher near the body and slowly lowers along the neck. Not a big issue if you know how to play the guitar, but for a beginner and for quality sound, the strings need to be hovering directly parallel along the whole guitar.Helaman H.
overall excited for this. I've noticed it's about 8/10 for what you expect to get. decent price for the instrument, good accessories come with it, overall quality decent/ good for the price. if your looking to buy this as a gift for a beginner, it's a good buy. a few disappointing parts of this purchase were, I have to retune the strings multiple times during a lesson, you can tell the sound quality is slightly affected by the overall build of the guitar. I'd recommend buying a better set of strings, they seem too light/ cheap to give the full robust sound it's suppose to have. if I had a choice to buy this again, I would for the price. but I'd also look into putting a little extra money into a better quality guitar. but for the price, this was a great purchase.
