2. Tc Electronic Sub 'n' Up Mini
Product Details:
The sub’n’up mini octaver from tc electronic is a pedal designed for electric guitar and electric bass. it utilizes an octave-engine which can achieve both monophonic and polyphonic tracking, giving you the ability to create shimmery tones reminiscent of a hammond organ, or a squelching bass line—all from the same instrument at the tap of a toe. two octave registers are provided via three knobs, so you can blend signal that is one octave up and one octave down on the pedal itself. you’ll also note the dry knob, which lets you dial in unprocessed signal to taste. like many tc electronic pedals, the sub’n’up is toneprint enabled, giving you presets custom-tweaked by artists that can be beamed straight to the pedal from a tablet, phone, or device sporting the toneprint app. it is also worth noting that you can create your own custom toneprints within the app itself. sonic signatures of the original sub'n'up can be loaded in this mini counterpart via toneprint too; basically–when compared to the original–you lose some hardware features (a knob and a switch), gain some room on your pedalboard, and sacrifice nothing in the way of tone. a bypass switch, which can be adjusted between true and buffered settings via an internal dip switch, allows you to turn the effect off and on. a power supply is included with the pedal. specifications controls dry knob up knob sub knob bypass/engage switch i/o 1 x 1/4" instrument input, unbalanced, phone type 1 x 1/4" instrument output, unbalanced, phone type bypass true bypass, buffered bypass optional impedance input: 1 mohm output impedance 100 ohms power input standard 9 vdc, center negative current draw > 300 ma power supply included usb port mini-usb port for uploading/editing custom toneprints, as well as software updates dimensions (h x w x d) 3.7 x 1.9 x 1.9" / 93 x 48 x 48 mm package weight 0.55 lb box dimensions (lxwxh) 4.0 x 2.6 x 2.3"

Reviews:
I love this pedal. The option to have one octave up and two down allong with the sry signal is great and creates a full sound. The tone is great, both the poly and classic modes, but the toneprint option is the real winner. Creating sounds and importing pre-created ones is a great way to dial in exactly what you want to sound like.
This pedal takes your playing to new lows! You can play with the settings and achieve amazing effects, the knobs are offering; 1 octave lower, 2 octaves lower, 1 octave higher, and so you blend it at your own taste. But the best part is probably the TonePrint, it is an App that you get for free in your computer then you have access to a wide variety of settings, effects and you can save them to your pedal, this is an amazing feature from TC electronic. Im using together the Sub n Up with the Hall of Fame 2, amazing results. You can use them both not only with bass but they work amazing with keyboard as well. Same day or next day dispatching, tracking code, unbeatable shipping price, safely packed, it took less than 10 business days to reach Kazan, Russia. Thank you.
I've been looking for something to make my guitar sound like a bass for years. There have been several octave shifters, but mostly monophonic and producing ghastly warbling sounds. This subnup pedal produces a good sounding bass using just the sub1 control, and adding the toneprint smooth bass patch turns it into a really nice punchy bass that reflects the tone of the string you are playing so you can get anything from a bright twang to a deep boom just using your fingers and there is no noticeable delay in the conversion, you play a note and it sounds immediately – older pedals used to have up to a half second gap between playing and hearing the note. This pedal does heaps more than that, several YouTube videos show it off, but I didn't see any that showed it being used to replace a bass when you just need it for a few songs and don't want to bring two guitars with you. I haven't had a chance to play with the tone editor yet, but that promises even more variation. Great pedal at a good price.Robin D.

I was using a tube screamer to boost the mid range frequency and get a djent sound with the standard distortion from my head. This pedal is a much better way to get the sound. Pretty cheap price. 5. Keeley – 30ms Automatic Double Tracker
Product Details:
Improve your tone with the keeley 30ms automatic double tracker keeley 30ms automatic double tracker. this stereo effect pedal offers an array of studio-style doubling effects used for creating thicker, fuller sounding instruments. also included in the effect pedal is a reverb that simulates the famous chamber in studio two. the keeley 30ms is designed to work with guitar, bass, keyboard, even vocals the keeley engineering 30ms automatic double tracker pedal can be used in mono with a built in abbey verb reverb control, or in stereo as the double tracker pro. the 30ms offers altered and detuned effects like a chorus pedal might sound, only without the regularity of a lfo oscillator in dimension mode. in this mode you have the ability to create up to two different voices for a stereo double tracked field. the user controls the tuning and delay for results that are stunning mono or, through two amplifiers, sublime stereo. abbey mode offers something more similar to a conventional chorus in that it simulates synched tape decks running in parallel with varying tape speeds. stereo or mono, this mode gives players a wide, lush sound without sounding like a conventional chorus pedal. lastly, the team at keeley created a unique slapback mode for rockabilly sounds. the slapback is now a double tracked echo with the two altered voices. add the keeley abbey verb to this mode to create stunning, new effects. in stereo double tracker pro mode, the unit drops the reverb channel in favor of complete control over the double tracked voices. each of the two voices can be tuned up to 30 cents sharp or flat. those voices are then delayed by up to 30 milliseconds for subtle to very distinctive doubling sounds. via internal switches, users can program the wet output to have either dry and effected sounds or just the effect, giving them true double tracking in stereo live.

Weight | 0.85 lb |

Reviews:
Most of the sounds available from this are useable. It enriches your tone without the swirling usually associated with chorus and flanging. The "Abbey" reverb is so good I turned the spring line on my amp to nil! Downsides? It can sound a bit too "produced" with some settings, and it's so much smaller than it looks in the adverts for it! Maybe that last one is a good thing.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
6. Ernie Ball Mvp Most Valuable Pedal

Specifications:
Voltage | 9 v |
Voltage Type | DC |
Volume Control Type | Adjustable |
Housing Material | Aluminum |
Power Supply | 100 mA |
Reviews:
I am a home use player and wanted to run this in the effects loop of my 40 watt tube amp to get my preamp crunch without blowing out my windows. I quickly noted that the response was smooth and just what i wanted except that as i neared the full heel position to get the volume i wanted, i was getting some very loud popping from my amp which i worried might blow a speaker. I read online that other Ernie Ball vp owners had noted that there were loose solder contacts on the pot. I took a look and sure enough, one of the solder lugs was loose on mine too. The wire was soldered just fine but the lug was loosely crimped to the little board on the pot. I took the pedal apart pulled the pot out, crimped the solder lug better put it back together (which was a real pain to get the string wrapped correctly and back on the spring). With the pedal back together, it worked great and gave me exactly what i wanted with no popping. This is a great product but could really benefit from some better quality control.Jack
This volume pedal has a great, even volume swell. The addition of gain controls makes the volume pedal even more useful, however. When I'm playing bass, I sometimes want to increase volume for certain passages, but without the sudden change in tone that comes from an overdrive or boost pedal. This does that (I use a few different class D amps). Additionally, this allows me to have greater flexibility with my volume without needing to fiddle with my amp or bass' volume knobs while playing. On guitar, this can act as a nice, subtle boost that can push gain-ier amps (I use an Orange) into some sweet saturation. Great pedal.Derek P

Reviews:
there are some very attractive things about this box but it has some issues… polyphony being the main one… overlapping notes create a miserable grainy high end chaos noise… so you have to use it very cautiously and articulate your attacks and note offs to avoid the onslaught of this unmusical aliasing morass… i've only been exploring it for a week or so so my jury is still out on the ultimate verdict about it's usability… the good news is that it doesn't sound like some crappy preset box synth… the legato waves are rich in themselves.. etcdalin-4440

Reviews:
Best digital univibe out there. I had a Dunlop analog and this guy eats for lunch. If you are on budget and want to get that Hendrix/Trower there is a small form factor. Look no further. Please the sound floor is lower than an optical analog pedal. The sounds is warm, lust and organic. Surprising for DSP right?! The Leslie effect is only the top horn and dual. From trying many Leslie emulators I'd recommend the Lester or Neo Vent. The Ventura doesn't stack up to them, but the vibe is killatoriko
The univibe setting sounds great and the mix knob gives you a great range of sounds. Drive/tone knobs let you fine tune each mode. Vibrato can be dialed into more of a chorus with the mix knob. Rotary can sound a bit harsh of you don't dial back the tone knob, but once you find the spot, it's great. Press and hold the button to momentarily dial in faster and deeper settings of each mode. One of my favorite pedals. I bought a second one for my other pedal board.artlo_4401

Reviews:
I wanted a simple, easy to use octave pedal to add some new colours to my sounds, this is perfect for that ! The sound is a really nice quality, it tracks smoothly and works well with my other pedals so I can simply fill out the sound, create nice lush harmonies or push things into some weird and wonderful places that are quite unique.Neil
Does exactly what it claims to. The upper fifth and octave sounds a bit synth-like when played clean, but when fed through an overdrive definately delivers the desired effect of a crazy, beefy sound. However, if playing clean and accompanying a distorted guitar, the octave up helps to solidify harmony lines without the synth sound being too noticeable at all. When using the octave down (with boost) you can make sounds like a tractor being sick (in a good way), which is always fun!Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Reviews:
Excellent sound!! I really like this pedal, I was planning to get the Big Muff, but saw this and I gave it a try. well, I guess I was right!! There are so many possibilities with the EQ. you can make it sound a lot different just by tweaking all the buttons. Also the dynamics and sustain work really well. It is really quiet and doesn?t suck any tone. The quality of the sound is really good. If you are very orthodox, go with the big muff. But come on, don?t be like everyone else!! I definitely recommend this over the common muff.Androide
Here's a combination that might be interesting to a few. I use the EH Fuzz/EQ with a Fender Pro Junior Amp along with a Lawrence humbucking soundhole pickup with a built in volume control and let me tell ya it's a monster of a rig. My preference are tube amps without a master volume (Marshall's fall from grace with me)and with all four elements (guitar, amp, pickup, and e.h. fuzz/eq)this gives a great blues setup (ala Jim Schwall of Seigel Schwall Blues Band). The feedback issue is easily control by judicious muting techniques with both hands. By the way I use D'Addario custom light strings 11-52 I believe. This gives a little bit more of a electric guitar feel.Anonymous
I got lucky enough to find someone willing to swap this for my ts9. Man did i get the great end of a trade. I was planning on using this mainly as a clean EQ but once i flipped on the fuzz I fell in love. Through my fender deville 212 this thing kills. I use a telecaster deluxe with humbuckers and you can really get a nice thick sound out of this pedal. The distortion is capable of such amazing tones from ts-9 to big muff pi to RAT to metal. And with the 6 band EQ you can emulate just about any sound well. This is even going to replace my EHX metal muff because no matter how much you play with the tone controls on the muff the sound is always going to be muddy to a degree and after playing the graphic fuzz for a few hours the metal muff just sounds cheap.Everything about this pedal's construction seems solid, although I will have to be careful not to miss the bypass switch and stomp on the sliders. This thing is loaded with a bunch of extra features. The sustain is there and is very helpful, but not nearly as powerful/noticeable as a standalone unit. If you use sustain heavily you'll want a compressor in front of this. Dynamics works really well though, i like to keep mine about halfway with sustain most of the way up. Also since it has a volume control it can be used as a booster for leads. A stomp control for the fuzz/distortion would be nice, but since there is not one you basically have to choose if you're going to use it just for shaping clean tone or as your dirty channel.Overall what makes this such a standout unit is the quality and tone of the fuzz drive channel. It is a fuzz distortion but the fuzz is subtle and comes through more as a gritty drive that 6 bands of EQ can shape into almost any sound. This tone machine is going to be my main drive pedal for a long long time.Anonymous

But, the sound has to be there and boy does this little puppy sound great. To some of the other reviews on here that are saying it's missing features I'll try and answer. 1. There is an app for it. At least on IOS. I've been using the app since I got it when this product first launched. App works awesome. Simple search on the interwebs and YouTube showcases it. 2. The review saying you can't plug into amp is wrong in a way. The person playing in the review you mention was connected to their DAW on their computer and playing thru studio monitors. Hope that helps. This was not designed for live play. I don't think it ever was. It's a practice tool and the best portable one I've ever used. The only better practice tool out there is the Spark but it ain't portable. I've been playing for 10 years and have tried and used everything. I've finally have exactly what I have been looking for with the Boss Pocket GT and the Spark. For live play I would use a actual amp or some of the other amazing products designed to do that like the new Boss core, Helix stomp etc. etc. Try it out for awhile and put it thru it's paces. Guitar Center has a very good return policy but I don't think you'll return it. I'm not.JJ
I BOUGHT MY BOSS POCKET GT AMP. OVER 3 MONTHS AGO AND, NOW I'VE JUST ORDERED A NEW BOSS RV 500, BUT, I HAVE TO BE HONEST ABOUT THE ENTIRE SITUATION, MY GOOD FRIEND ALREADY HAS A BRAND NEW BOSS RV 500 AND, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD YOUR BOSS POCKET GT AMP. W/ THE NEW BOSS RV 500! THE SKY IS THE LIMIT WITH THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER! I'VE ALREADY USED MY GOOD FRIENDS NEW BOSS RV 500 AND, IT ROCKS BIG TIME IN MY OPINION! I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO GET MY OWN FROM THE MUSICIANS FRIEND APP/ STORE! TRUST WHEN I SAY THAT THIS IS A MATCH MADE FOR EACH OTHER! BOSS ENGINEERING KEEPS COMING UP WITH MORE INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS IT'S UNBELIEVABLE! I'VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY HAVING MY BOSS POCKET GT NOW WHEN SPECIALLY WITH THE NEW BOSS RV 500! I'M EVEN THINKING ABOUT GETTING ANOTHER ONE FOR MY OTHER GRETSCH GUITAR AT MY GOOD FRIENDS DOWNSTAIRS PLAYING ROOM? TIME WILL TELL? KEEP PLAYING THE GUITAR!JASON
I was concerned about bluetooth conectivity with my Samsung S22 ULTRA as I read a lot of comments about how tricky it could be. It took me 30 seconds to set the phone and Boss pocket gt. The bad thing about this product is the youtube feature. Most of the youtube videos can't be played on the app. It means you can't use the most exciting feature of this little device. Anyway I still can open the youtube app on my s22 play the video and hear the music while boss pocket gt app is running on the background producing the effects and emulation for your guitar. What i have found most exciting is that you only need a phone, pocket gt and headphones to star your practice session.JUANC

I am happy with this delay. It's sturdily built, has straightforward controls, is free of noise, and has no effect on the tone when switched off. It isn't a loop station, but the delay can be quite long, longer than I need for what I use it for, which is usually a tempo matched delay blended kind of low, so as not to be ping pongy. Sounds good to me! Also made in the USA, which is a plus for me!fnl61
I did not review this pedal before purchase,I bought it on impulse….WOW! Love it! I've been playing professionally for over 30 years and used an Echoplex in the late 70s. This is a digital pedal that almost replicates the analog tape echo sound i've been looking for without the $$$$(I still miss the extra noises from worn tape and heads). I won't bore you (ie:brag) about my setup. The slap-back is excellent (think Led Zep Good Times Bad Times). NO TAP TEMPO? Real guitarist don't need no stinking TAP TEMPO. Learn how to play with the basics. Then you can get something with Tampon Tempo. As an EX drummer for J. Winter once told me, "FemProds have ruined good musicians". AS far as complaints about "Volume Drop" in the effects loop; Go and buy a VDc (VOLUME DROP compensator) MANUFACTURED by Tension Audio Resonance Devices. When all your friends ask, just tell them you got your VD from (a) TARD. I'm going to buy a 2nd #1 Echo, so that one can be used only for Slap Back. For the money, you can't go wrong.
I have just recently bought this pedal to go along with a main delay I have as well as a reverb to stack 2 delays with reverb to get a really washy, ambient sound for modern worship music. It is a very clean, digital delay. Very versatile as far as the length of repeats as well as the delay time. It works well as a stacking delay if you are using it secondary. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because there is a pretty big signal loss when engaged. It doesn't suck tone when it is not engaged though which is nice. You really need to have a clean boost pedal of some sort to get the most out of this pedal. Luckily, I have a clean boost pedal but if you don't have one, I would go with another delay just for the loss of volume when you engage it.

I have finally got the Hudson Electronics Sidecar from Andertons. Though having waited almost 2 months since I ordered, I think it is worth 10 times the wait. I can't believe how good a preamp, overdrive, fuzz etc. the „Broadcast“, and now how good an overdrive the „Sidecar“ is. Due to the huge gain range and the very effective EQ controls, this is one versatile pedal. As an added bonus, it even sounds VERY decent at low volumes or as a real flexible boost. I have been gigging / recording for 30 years and have owned an overdrive pedal or two ;-). Honestly, nothing compares to the „Sidecar“, be it old Tube Screamers, original OD1s, or a lot of overpriced „Boutique“ stompboxes I have played / owned. Compared to the „Sidecar“ and also the „Broadcast“, they all seem like way too expensive toys for me after owning the „Broadcast“ for a year now and getting to know the „Sidecar“ better each day (and making my day it does!). The „Sidecar“ is a lot of fun, really!Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Superb 808 style pedal, I say style because it's way more versatile on every level than an original. Perfection.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Groovy reverb. Mild to wild and all points inbetween.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
For ages I’ve been interested in a Univibe type pedal but didn’t want to be constrained by most of their limited functionality. I really wanted to get close to the sound of my guitar hero’s like Hendrix, Mike McCready, Dave Gilmour but also be able to tailor the pedal further to ‘my sound’. For this reason, this pedal is just perfect. I’ve never owned a Keeley pedal before but was turned on to them by That Pedal Show and a PMT video who held them in high regard. They were both spot on! Amazing sounds, incredible versatility, in a robust unit that’s very well priced given all it can do. Now I can emulate my hero’s but also have a pedal that has been instrumental (pardon the pun!) in my song writing endeavours. Perfect. If only I’d known of this sooner! You need this pedal in your life…..Mike C.
