This guitar is lightweight very well balanced, it seems to almost float when wearing it with a strap, As I heard in another rating, it feels like every single note on every single fret is available and reachable at any moment. It takes me back to the early 90's when I played a early 70's Gibson Explorer. What an easy guitar to play! It just seemed to fall off the frets into your hands, and this ESP SnakeByte is no different. I've heard James Hetfield talk about his love for his Gibson Explorers, so it's not a surprise that his signature series SnakeByte has that feel and tone! I really like the locking tuners, what a great invention! It makes the horrible business of replacing strings easy and painless! The locking bridge is also a delight, keeps intonation intact when changing strings. I like the tone of the JH HET SET pups, they scream when needed, and purr when needed. This guitar matches up particularly well with a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, or most any amp from Mesa Boogie or Marshall.mkcr33l

I was so excited to get this guitar and I hooked it up out of the box a played it for about 5 minutes. Unplugged it put it back in the case. The next day I hooked it up again and got a terrible flanger like sound out of the guitar so I switched guitars and my other one was fine. Before I sent it back I wanted to check the 9v battery in the back compartment for the pickups and discovered only 1.2 v of power coming out of the battery. I swapped the battery and now it's good. I just thought it was kind of annoying that esp would sell guitars with off brand dead batteries. I know it's not musiciansfriends fault but still.Chris

Looks incredible and sounds heavy. Comfortable to play standing up or sitting down. Good, balanced weight too so it hangs/rests nicely when playing. Feels nice to play, neck isn't too chunky and the action is decent, although some may prefer it to be lower past the 12th fret. I'd recommend wearing a sweatband (like Hetfield) as the top edge of the body can catch your lower arm when playing. Comes with a big, sturdy, lockable, hard case too.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
I'll tell you about why I both love this guitar and why I decided to buy from Sweetwater.First, I always played acoustic blues, but I love metal and Metallica. Hetfield rocks, and everything about this guitar's specs are fantastic. The pickups, the construction, the fittings, the finish and the balance are great. There seem to be some hollowed out parts of the body that add a bit of resonance, and frankly I was shocked by how light this weights compared to a Les Paul style I own.Transitioning to metal rhythm, whether it is all mental or has something to actually do with the guitar itself, things just started playing better immediately. I think it's because this is meant to shred, whereas the Les Paul style isn't bad, just different. Way better sound too.Now why Sweetwater? I come from a musical family, and you always try your guitars before you buy, so Internet ordering was a first for me. I did plenty of research on what I wanted to buy, as well as checking around to different vendors. Let's be honest, everyone checks Amazon. However, for guitars it seems like there are all sorts of Amazon sellers who are ripping customers off. You see generic product photos, and you have no idea what you're going to get. People who bought this guitar had reported scratches, open box versions sold as NIB.=Enter Sweetwater – you know you're getting an inspected guitar if you're putting down a decent amount of coin. I was able to see the exact photos of the guitar I was buying. It was great to know exactly what I was buying.Heavily recommend: if you know what strings you use, pay to have them install those strings and adjust the neck to the action you prefer. It was incredibly helpful.

I have had several guitars over the years and have played a few small gigs. This guitar is definitely the best feeling/sounding guitar ever. Perfect weight, finish, controls. Can't think of anything bad to say. Locking tuners make it possible to change strings within seconds, active EMGs, custom finish and if you're a Hetfield fan like I am, then you are probably going to enjoy this guitar even more. Sound: This guitar I by far the smoothest I have ever played. The tone is great and playing leads on it is like no other. Features: Everything about this guitar is perfect from the type of wood to the electonics. Ease of Use: This is an easy guitar to play if you have experience. Beginners will have to get used to it. The jumbo frets is where people will get messed up because of the spacing of the strings. Quality: This guitar will last a lifetime. I've wanted one of these for a long time and finally took the plunge. I'm very happy with the sound and construction of this guitar. Note that at least as of early 2018, there is no longer a "KH-602" inlay on the 24th fret. There are two small skull inlays like on the new Purple Sparkle model. The neck is super smooth on this guitar as mentioned by everyone else. The only thing I am having trouble getting used to is the extreme bevel of the fret ends. If I'm not careful it's easy for me to push the low E off the fretboard. Tuning the Floyd Rose bridge takes some patience, but once you get it dialed in it stays locked down. I like it.Rockman
I played on an Ibanez S-series for years and it was my go to for playing metal. I also own an American Standard Fender Stratocaster. I bought this guitar because I love playing Metallica songs and solos just jamming at home. This is by far my favorite guitar to play on now. The extra jumbo frets make soloing a cinch and have improved my capabilities. The heavy metal crunching sound is AWESOME and I only play on a Line 6 with one 12" speaker. My only disappointment is with some buzzing frets. The repair technician at Guitar center told me I have uneven frets, which would need to be repaired to get rid of the buzzing on both E strings, which is still present even after having the guitar set perfectly to spec by Guitar Center. You can't hear the buzzing through the amp, but I expected to receive near perfection from ESP/LTS when paying such as high price tag. I have had this guitar for about a month now. From the first day, I have absolutely loved this guitar. The included Seymour Duncan pick ups sounds amazing and the push/pull function gives you a nice range of voices. Everything about the build of this guitar feels amazing. The neck and the frets are smooth and well cared for, the quality of the hardware is top shelf. If you want a Les Paul, just forget about Gibson. This is what you want, of course there are many versions of this guitar, Any one of the EC-1000's are great, but the finish on this one is pretty outstanding in person.Logan C
Amazing, right out of the box! Gorgeous maple top and headstock design along with the flag inlays and black/chrome hardware. But how it handles…wow! The 'U' shape neck is just like my '72 Strat so the LTD felt familiar right away. (The U neck is chunky and may not be right for everyone) It's really well balanced sitting down or standing with a strap. The action is spot on and access to the higher frets not a problem. The bridge is comfortable on the right hand. And the specific instrument that I ordered is HEAVY. It feels like I'm playing a full guitar, not just a slice of a guitar! And the sound… THE SOUND!! The EMG 81 is incredible! It's actually making me play more accurately and deliberately because it will not allow sloppy playing. Play sloppy on the 81 or 86(neck pickup) and there's NO hiding it. Took a little while to get used to the high output of the EMGs but well worth it. I could not be happier with this guitar and the price is incredible.

Some people may like this, but it feels very odd, and the people at Evertune know that most people don't play like this. So, to get the best of both worlds, you will need to apply enough tension on the saddle to bring it right up to the edge of zone 2 by turning the tuning pegs. What I found to be helpful here is to not just listen for the note to change, but to pull on the string and visually inspect movement in the saddle. Once this is set, it feels like a normal guitar with just a tad more tension on the strings. The guitar will come with 10-gauge strings. I gave that a shot for a while. Only recently did I switch them out for some 9s. I think it feels a lot better with a lighter gauge string, especially considering that tad bit of tension. I ordered this Bass as I wanted a more modern fretless than my Jazz and decided on a 5. I was first impressed by the exotic finish of these Basses but skeptical on quality at this price. I needn't have worried. I honestly do not know how ESP maintain this kind of fantastic quality/price. Out of the box the maple cap looks great if you like a natural wood finish. I could not find a single cosmetic flaw. The Bass is slightly neck-heavy due to the light weight body but it sits well on a strap. The hardware seems solid enough and looks cool. My Bass was well set-up but other reviews say the contrary. The strings are D'addario Rounds as listed so you may want to change these out for flats if you wish to avoid scratches on the roasted Jatoba fingerboard (they used to be Rosewood). The active threeband eq plus passive pan pot give a lot of tone scope. The only negative point to my ears is that I would like a touch more sustain but all in all consider these Basses before going for a Rockbass.
I have been playing guitar for six years and am a massive fan of hot humbuckers and EMGs. This LTD does not disappoint and is easily my best guitar (next to my Solar s1.6pb27, which also sports an EverTune bridge). The LTD MH1000's body looks great, neck feels great, frets are smooth and it stays in tune extraordinarily well with the EverTune bridge. It is extremely easy to set this guitar up yourself due to the bridge; I didn't have to take it to a shop before I started recording with it. Excellent value.

With this guitar going on sale it's worth the wait, it's neck feels awesome and active emg's for Rock and metal especially sound great bit it'll handle any style you jam. It is a quilted maple top but there's a big difference between satin and gloss but still looks awesome but that glassy look many have is far from this. Plus if you do the points you'll get enough back to get the musicians friend molded case for single cutaway guitars which fits this guitar really well. For the money it'd be hard to find a better guitar in this price range ,it's also fairly light which your shoulder will thank you forRock it out
When you look at construction; great p'ups (JB & 59 SD's on my sunburst), locking tuners, tonepros locking bridge, a comfortable weight, good balance, more bling than a guitar deserves (although I do find that all of this abalone makes the fingerboard feel glass-smooth and is super fast!), great sustain and with a decreased head-stock angle (over the LP) to reduce neck breakage, 2-way adjustable truss rod and a much better price it's sort of a no brainer. I've had mine about 2 years and did have to change out the 3-way toggle after about 6 months due to periodic shorting out, but other than that it's been a fantastic guitar. Some day I might spring for the LP, but guitars are about tone, ergonomics, durability and how they comfortable they feel & play. The LTD EC-1000 has a lot going for it. It'll rock your socks off and cleans up nicely too! I can get some great country tones out of this one as well!JS
Fwiw, my experience is limited to being an "experienced beginner", not quite a low level intermediate. This guitar plays great and came set up decently with no obvious flaws in finish or quality. I believe it may be on sale because of problems with the finish color. Mine is beautiful, but definitely not the color described. The back is black, but the front is very greenish with off-white, yellowish binding. I love it, but if you are set on the color as described you could be disappointed if the whole batch is like this.Soylent Green

Sound: This guitar I by far the smoothest I have ever played. The tone is great and playing leads on it is like no other. The jumbo frets is where people will get messed up because of the spacing of the strings. Quality: This guitar will last a lifetime. Overall: My wife and children decided that I needed a new guitar so they got me this one in the purple finish. Unbeknownst to my wife, I have wanted this guitar for over twenty years, ever since I was a snot nosed punk of a metalhead. The last several years I have developed nerve damage that has made it harder for me to play because it has effected my hands. The thin U neck on this guitar makes it so I can play very easily for long periods so that is a plus. The pickups in this sound amazing. I've owned guitars with pretty much every type of pickup available, and I've never been a huge fan of active pickups, but the EMG bonebreakers have made a believer out of me. Out of the box this was set up very well, I might make some tweaks to it when I have more time, but for now it plays great. The floyd stays in tune no matter how much I divebomb, and I've been abusing it pretty hardcore the last day or so since getting it. The finish is a darker purple than what shows up in pictures. Think late 60's/early 70's plum crazy purple but with big shiny bass boat style glitter flakes in it. The case it comes with is a very nice ESP hard case. Clean the guitar sounds great, but dirty is where it seems to like to live. Great guitar for metal and MAYBE some cleaner bluesy stuff. Overall it's an awesome instrument that I for one am very happy to own.

Excelente guitar. I´m very dissapointed about the factory setup. For the price, I was expecting at least a playable factory setup. Instead it was with a really high strings action, pickups height totally out of pattern. And the finish wasn´t flawless. I has a little detail by the end of the scale. Besides that, Tumbstone Hard case is amazing! I was expecting more of the ESP inspections before it left the factory. By the way, the guitar was packed in the original box yet.Rodrigo
Overall: I was thinking about buying an ESP LTD for a while, and when I saw this guitar I was just blown away by how it looked, and the features it has. I'm happy to report that when it arrived at my home( which only took one day, thank you zZounds and fedex) I was even more blown away. The action is perfect out of the box, it's super lite, it plays faster than almost any guitar I've ever played, the Floyd Rose is top notch, and since I've stretched the strings and locked it, I hasn't gone out of tune once, and the sound is just mind blowing. I was a little nervous when I saw the body wood type was alder, being most of my guitars are mahogany, I thought the low end response would be affected. But I'm happy to tell everyone, it sounds like a beast. And of course the emg pickups are always incredible in my opinion. Plus it comes with the coolest case ever. It's got a tombstone motif on it. There's not enough good things I could say about this wonderful guitar. I was wailing sweep arpeggios all day on this bad boy, and every note was clear as a bell, no matter how fast I was playing. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone who's a metal aficionado. You won't be disappointed.Rob
At first glance, the art work is perfect! Thanks, Kirk! I was hesitant on the buy , due to being a 'LTD' ESP until I researched and read the great reviews (Thanks, axe slingers!). Don't let the 'LTD' fool you. This axe is rock solid. First thing I noticed when I picked this up is the great feel of the neck and the weight. If you love the feel of Strat-style bodies, you will love this. The neck is slim, smooth and fast; my first 24-fret axe and I love it! Not one flaw with these frets-no sharp edges (Dry weather can shrink the neck to where the frets may protrude enough to notice so be cautious and stay humid). I inspected the art work and craftsmanship, finding only 1 tiny flaw. At the end of the neck, by the 24th fret, half the neck width is shaved off about a 2 mm angle too much (click on the pic to see). This is fixable if you're good with tools…Second thing I couldn't wait to try is the Floyd Rose-my first one. It's sensitive compared to my SG's Bigsby so it doesn't take much to get a good effect which is good. The locking nut works superbly and the fine tuners are awesome, no problem with palm muting, as well! The tremelo arm can be left loose or tightened down, out of your way….The Sound—I can definitely tell the difference between the neck and bridge pups so I can't imagine having an 81 & a 60! These EMGs sound great having that neck, bridge and combined tone that you expect from humbuckers. Included is an extra tremelo spring and 3 allen wrenches….The Case—This is the first axe used to debut the Tombstone case! As you can see in the pic, it has a fur lining and a snug fit. The large compartment allows plenty of room for the wrenches, spring, picks, cord, etc. No flaws with the outside decor skin, latches, hinges or handle. It also comes with a key. Also, don't forget the Kirk Hammett pick tin set!…Rock on!

This guitar is in very good condition. there is a small dent on the back (see photo), which is the only thing preventing it from being listed as excellent condition. it is 100% cosmetic and does not affect playability in any way. this guitar sounds great, looks great, and thanks to the evertune bridge, it stays in tune at all times, no matter how hard you chug. i recently put some d'addario nyxl .011-.064 strings on it for drop tuning, which is handles really well. however, since i'm selling it i put it back in standard tuning. if you're new to the evertune bridge system, be sure to familiarize yourself with the tuning process ahead of time. there is a little bit of a learning curve, but once you understand the process and get it in tune it will stay in tune forever. intonation and action adjustments are a piece of cake, too. this guitar is truly a studio workhorse.it even comes with a case and the evertune hex key!

I have been playing 7 strings for almost 20 years and this is quite possibly the best 7 string I have ever owned, or even played. From the very first feel of the next I knew I was in for something special and I was not disappointed. This guitar is truly amazing. ESP has made me a believer in them. The craftsmanship is as solid as it gets. The deep shaven cut lets the higher frets so much more accessible. The neck is smooth, comfortable and fast. This is the first time using an ever tune bridge and i love it. The only issue i have with it, is a slight buzz from the bridge, but to my understanding, thats just a minor price to pay for the amazing technology that ever tune is. Been playing about 20 years and I’ve had them all. I’m playing in a cover band and can get what ever sound I want (minus the compressed active sound) out of this thing. From 60s to 90s nu metal, the neck through and fixed bridge gives it sustain for days and the classic 59/ JB pick ups with a coil split gives you so many choices for tones. I have smaller hands and the 24.5 scale neck is so comfortable and fast. Only complaint is fret buzz on the E and A strings out of the box but that is it. If your looking for an all round player this is it. And always great service from AMSDennis
My wife picked up this guitar for me for my Father's Day/Birthday. Of course, I had a bug in her ear on which guitar to buy. Right out the box, it screams! Beautiful paint job, the white absolutely pops! It has a nice weight to it, it's sits perfectly on your lap, when you stand up to play it, it is very well balanced. The p/u's give a variety of tones, which wont disappoint. The head stock is what drew me to this guitar, a non-traditional head stock for a TE body style. Definitely a feature not seen on other guitar with similar body style. It was a half step out of tune when it came out of the box, but that was a simple twist of the locking tuners and it was ready to play! Added my Ernie Ball Strap locks and it was ready for the stage (my music room). This guitar definitely brings a smile on my face and hopefully for you as well.Dave
Overall: I bought this guitar in March ‘21. It’s gorgeous. Photos don’t do it justice. Specs looked great – a tele spec’d out for everything from county to metal! Ebony fretboard, neck through, Floyd Rose 1000. Tele body. Pickups were versatile. Was SUPER excited to get this. Right off the bat we didn’t play well. The Floyd was wonky and felt cheap. Kept slipping at the pivot. I’ve got other guitars with the 1000 series and I’d put them up against any OFR I’ve ever messed with. Far saddle couldn’t intonate. The fretboard felt really cramped, and some frets weren’t smoothed out. I’m competent with setups, so after an EXTENSIVE setup I got it playable, but not by much to my liking. Also, it seems like this was advertised on LTD’s site as being Korean…? But this was Indonesian. I understand these are all personal gripes, and some slight QC issues. I really liked the concept, and really wanted to like it, but in the end I ended up trading a buddy for another LTD. Maybe it will be to his liking. I’d only recommend if you have smaller hands, patience, and a good strong back – this thing is HEAVY! Gonna have to have a long talk with LTD and do some deep dive research into any further new LTD’s I consider.

Love the looks and playability great guitar. I buy in this price range and I would say playability is on par along with looks. I tested intonation neck relief and overall set up. Intonation spot on. Was in tune on arrival. Neck was super stright with slight relief but not much the way I like it. Action low with no buzz or dead freets. Nothing to complain about hear just all good.

I'm personally not a huge fan of Any guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge.I play in C# / B and always struggled with the floyd rose holding up ….UNTIL NOW. THIS GUITAR PACKS EVERYTHING !! I’ve seen this guitar in photos and ads for some time and didn’t pay much attention. Another LP copy with a players name on it. Big deal I thought. Then I saw one in person and was taken aback at how jaw dropping it was. I’ve got 3 eclipses with the expensive letters on the headstock, I’ve got one off custom shop guitars again with the same three expensive letters on the headstock, but this black and red guitar was seriously sexy . I absolutely love this guitar! Everything about it from the EMG pick ups with the split coil on the neck,the glow in the dark side fret markers,and the feel of the neck and the ebony fretboard.And a real Floyd Rose,not some cheap bridge which you find on so many guitars.I got the white one,the red neck binding and red EMG's look really cool with it. I can say that the "real" ESP is slightly better, but not 4x time better as it is 4x more expensive. No regrets. Love the thin body – a regular single cut guitar is way too heavy for me. EMGs by default are great, but if you don't like particular models – swapping those for another EMGs is almost as easy swapping a game cartridge in your Nintendo Switch. Definitely great guitar!Artem
Plugging this guitar into the MXR Full Bore Metal pedal sounds amazing. The neck is very comfortable. The pick-ups are awesome. The look of the guitar is great. The hard shell case was a nice bonus. Overall: Purchased this guitar less than a month ago and so far…NO REGRETS!! Arrived on time and perfectly set-up ( I was concerned being around the holidays and the cold climate of the midwest I would have to perform a new set-up due to it sitting in the truck) however action is flawless; Little buzz on the low E if you really dig into it. Overall this guitar is a sonic POWERHOUSE. Palm-Mute some low Es on distortion and it sounds like an hosest to god FREIGHT TRAIN is coming out of your amp. Kudos to the inclusion of JH pickups (which I was leary of at first) but these things kick!!! Sustain? I could leave my finger waving and this thing thing will go on for days…Blues your thing? Kick on the bridge and a warm tone and you can groove like none-other. But let's not be mistaken…this guitar is meant to bring the thunder and lighting…Ima go jam now…Jason

I love ESP guitars and I tried this one just to see what you get for such a low price (with an ESP gig bag!!!). Well you get a lot, extremely good looking guitar, nicely setup from the box, and sounding great with ESP-designed anonymous pickups (made in China, I guess). Nothing to fault this purchase and if you want to "have an ESP" without going up in price, this is highly recommended.

Guitar has a great feel to it and the sound is great too. The tuning seems to stay in place even when the tremolo is used . The service from American Musical was great . The guitar was advertised on the ESP website with a hard shell case and I brought this to the attention of customer support, I was sent without case . Customer service at American Musical sent me the case while they were still investigated the issue . They were very professional on the way the handled it .
I bought the non-trem, Silverburst version. I love everything about this guitar. It feels like it was custom made for me. I very much like the non-locking Grover tuners, bone nut, 22 extra jumbo frets, string spacing, neck width, thick body, & Seymour Duncan JB & 59 pickups. Great feel, tone, & sustain!Randy B.
Overall: I got a "Blem" for 649.00. This guitar is well worth the 949.00 asking price. Neck thru, Super stable and straight neck. Great sustain and tone, REAL Flame maple cap, Smoothed heel, A BEAST! Heavy! Mines 11lbs. I cannot find a blem on this anywhere. I have 3 Gibson LP's and many other guitars, The build and play-ability of this guitar is outstanding and better than a lot of the other BIG names. I'm very happy with this guitar. The Snow White looks awesome. It comes with the Fishman Fluence pickups, so you have the Active/Passive toggle. Love that it has the Evertune bridge. Especially dealing with changes in temperature that occurs. But this Evertune looks awesome because it's black and brushed chrome, so it matches the pickups. Just the small things like that makes the guitar look so much better. But it's a beast. The tone is excellent, and will sustain for days. It's great to be able to just pick up the guitar and play because it stays in tune. And set the intonation to determine how much you want the strings to bend.
I have guitars by Gibson, Fender and Ibanez etc but this is my first ESP and I cannot think why I have never bought one before. A stunning guitar with exceptional playability and a stunning finish, along with the evertune bridge it is a joy to shred and then be able to play chords knowing that everything is staying in tune – an awesome bridge on an awesome guitar. Sound: It sounds great for metal. You can't go wrong with EMG's as long as you have a reputable amp and/or effects processor as part of your overall sound. Features: The obvious best feature is the Ever Tune system. I was highly impressed at how in-tune and intonated this guitar was out of the box. The string action was a little high though. Ease of Use: The Ever Tune system is not the easiest to grasp. It was rather frustrating. It shipped perfectly in tune and intonated like I stated above. However, I wanted the string action lowered just a little bit. Once you lower the string action, you have to go through all the steps from the beginning to get it in tune and intonated. I mean, once it's in…it doesn't come back out. But, there are a lot of steps getting to that point. Once you do, one more step is thrown into the mix, which is adjusting the degree of your string bend. Not fun at all. Because once you got it to where it sounds good, the intonation is out of whack again. So, this system will take a while to master. Quality: The build and finish of this guitar seems pretty good. High quality tuners and electronics. There was minor fret buzz but I adjusted the string height to make it go away. But, i didn't like the how high I had to keep it in order for there to be no buzz. For $1049, I feel it should play much better than it does. I have a Jackson Soloist around the same price that blows this out of the water as far as playability. And is equal to the ESP's sound/tone. Value: I feel this is a $600 guitar with an overpriced and complex tuning system attached to it. And come on….an expensive guitar like this doesn't come with a case? Manufacturer Support: N/A The Wow Factor: I wasn't really wowed as I have been in the past when first receiving and playing brand new gear. Obviously, seeing this for the first time was impressive, all shiny and new. I just didn't feel like I was playing a $1000+ professional guitar. With the exception of a small dent and ding through the tolex of the case, this kh-3 remains in excellent condition with the trem arm included. one of the most famous esp guitars of all time, and an iconic guitar of metal! this is the esp kh-3 kirk hammett single cutaway signature guitar. in 1991, kirk hammett of metallica came to esp with a request for a new guitar with a single cutaway design, but with the features of his kh-2 guitar. metallica’s graphic artist pushead designed a spider graphic specifically for this new instrument. the kh-3 spider was played by kirk throughout the ’90s on tours supporting the legendary black album. after spending a number of years on display at the rock and roll hall of fame, the original kh-3 was returned to esp so they could reference it for the 30th anniversary edition. in addition to neck-thru-body construction, a floyd rose 1000 bridge, and a fast extra-thin u-shaped neck with an ebony fingerboard which is scalloped from #17-24.

First about the EMGS. The bridge is not a 81. The old 81 had almost no dynamic elements and the bone breaker does. 2nd the neck pickup is the smoothest I ever played and pick attack is my favorite element of this thing. The finish is excellent. Mirror finish every time I polish it. Neck is more like a compound which I like better than the thin U . This the only ESP that felt compound thank you Guitar Center Nashville and the General Manager he is a great 👍🏻 guy!!!James
Just picked up the new KH-3 today from a special order and to my knowledge ended up getting it a BIT earlier than expected, out of box the action is set-up SUPER well. Pickups are nice and aggressive with the bridge, as you would expect from an EMG. Neck position is crisp and beautiful on cleans. Scalloped frets are very fun as well (cant think of many guitars with scallops for the price range either)…Floyd Rose per usual on KH's! This LTD feels like a solid and superior guitar right out the box with very good build quality and parts, literally a Kirk Hammett fans dream come to reality and a guitar that will stay with me forever.USE-ESP
