Electric Guitar Strings Labeled For Sale (2024 Update)

I am a drummer. My son needed strings. He took a few lessons years ago, and recently decided to try again. Guitar needed strings. I put on a full set and tuned it up. Seem to be functional. Fairly flexible. I didn't want really heavy strings. I know they would wreak havoc on un-callused fingertips!Scott W.

First time using these. I really like them. I immediately noticed how much smoother they feel compared to the previous brand I started out using. They feel so much better on your fingers and they dont feel ridged on the thicker strings. String bends are much better. I think I am going to switch to Ernie Ball from here on out. I was surprised to fine this heavy of a guage of strings. I didn't know they existed. The thing about heavy strings is that you have much more ability to play with dynamic resonance – something you can't really get with light guage strings. With these strings, you can play as softly as you wish but when you really want it to "come out" they don't disappoint. I also only play with the fleshy tip of my fingers which melds into the subtle nuances of chord and solo performance.garycgrieve

The package is for C standard, not Drop C as some people mistakenly think…well, I guess you could use them for Drop C if you like veeeery stiff strings. If you want strings for Drop C, I'd suggest a skinny top/heavy bottom set of strings with an 11 up top and a 54 or so on the bottom so the bottom E tuned to C doesn't get floppy and knocked out of tune easily. Anyway, I've been using these for a long time on my USA core line PRS Custom 24 in C standard. They seem fine for going down a half step to B standard and feel fine even up half a step to C# standard. That's as high as I'd tune these strings up, though. I couldn't recommend these strings more!Josh

I have these strings on my schecter c-1 SLS blackjack tuned all the way down to drop A#, and let me tell you, despite being labeled as optimized for drop C, I don't recommend them for that tuning. 11-52s, 12-54s and 11-56s are better for Drop C, but for Drop B and Drop A#, you will not find a better gauge than these on a 25.5 scale length guitar or a 26.5 baritone. The tension is absolutely perfect! It feels like a 10-52 set in E standard with the E string tuned to D! Like with all D'addarios, they are bright, long lasting, they feel smooth and they absolutely love locking tremolos. I can yank my floyd rose all I want and it still will not go out of tune. Since D'addarios are bright as I stated before, they also remain clear under high gain, which I use my marshall JVM on the red channel with a maxon OD as a boost and a peavey 5150. Between the tuning stability, the tension, the reliability, the playability and the string life, you cannot go wrong with these for baritone tunings!Daniel

I've tried many string brands out there and have come back to Ernie Ball in the last couple of years. They sound and feel great, stay in tune (assuming you have a guitar that stays in tune), and are durable (no strings last forever). You can simply depend on them.Frank

I have used Ernie Ball Slinkys since I started playing guitar (time that can be measured in decades, that's all I say). I have been through other top brands, and just don't like them. I have gotten to know EB strings to the point where I can nearly predict when they'll break. That's good in my book. The lively tone and intonation stays for a LONG time. And they're good enough to scrape clean and, in the word of Billy Idol, Start Again. Well, that beats boiling them (RIP EVH). What's even better is all these new, attractive hybrid sets, allowing you to easily find your groove without having to get two packs for your ideal set! EB just keeps getting better.Guy lll

These are the best strings I've ever used. GORE has been trying to discontinue and keeps pushing the Nanoweb version: but the difference is huge! No match at all! The Elixir Polyweb maintain their tone, brightness and tension over 10 times what a Nanoweb does and probably twice that number over un-coated strings. I play every day and I've had guitars with over 6-7-8 months using the same set of strings with no issues. The're that good! BTW, my main guitars are Gibson Les Paul (TonePros Nashville and Tune-O-Matic Locking Bridge, Tusq Nut) and PRS Custom 24 (Tremolo version with Bronze Saddles and a Tusq Nut). These strings feel so good… no such thing as a strange feel because they're coated. You actually feel like playing with a very familiar and comfy feel. These Elixir Polyweb keep outperforming their competitors easily: D'Addario EXP, DR Extra, Fender DuraTone, Dean Markley Blue Steel, Earnie Ball Coated Slinky or the latest Earnie Ball Cobalt. Again: by far! In over 30 years playing and recording, I've never encountered a product of such quality in what comes to strings… and trust me: I've tried them all! This was a great price on my favorite strings. Shipping was very fast too. Unfortunately, "new" does not mean the same as"fresh" and I have now learned the difference. These do seem to be genuine Elixers, but a few problems which led to broken strings may indicate that these were either sitting on a shelf for a very long time or else exposed to moisture. Normally, brand new strings will be very springy when you first take them out of the sleeve. They generally will uncoil into a straight line, but every single one of these maintained a strong curl or twist in it. But that alone was not a problem for me. The strings installed normally and tuned well, but the tonal quality seemed a little sub-par compared to what I was used too. Still, it's possible I was just imagining that. The strings were fine for a month. Held there notes as well as any, and the tone was at least decent, though I still felt it was missing something. But after one month I had the B string break. I usually keep Elixer strings for 6 months before they finally lose their great tone and I replace them, and because I wind plenty of extra string around the posts, I haven't had a string break on me in over 8 years. Breaking one now pretty much confirmed my earlier suspicions. I went ahead and replaced all 6 strings with the next set, but 2 weeks later and the high E string broke on me. For now I'm borrowing the high E from the final set, but the first chance I get I will be replacing every string with a new, fresh set from a local music store. I don't think I'll buy strings online again because of this apparent problem of freshness.jaredlang85

Long lasting, great sound. I went to my girlfriends sisters home for Xmas and a few guys got a some guitars out and we played some rock, country and bluegrass on Elixers strung on acoustic instruments. They claimed the strings were three years old. They sounded quite good for their age. After seeing a John Paul Jones interview where he said Elixers were all he used. I already used them but his opinion completely sold me. I even bought an Elixer tee shirt. I use them on all my guitars and mandolins. I won't settle for anything else. I just bought a FX5 that had Addario's on it. No pause, I replaced them with Elixers. Great sound. Long lasting. Stay good looking too. Buy multiple set bundles and save money.easymedicine1

I've been playing/collecting new and vintage guitars for 26 years, and regularly try new strings. I noticed that if these strings contact the bridge when re-stringing, the color will chip off immediately. Secondly, they feel like dull plastic. This feels like your fingers are dragging, and seems "cheap". Thirdly, I had to adjust all the pickup heights on the low-E, as the heavier strings sound completely dull and lifeless. I also received a damaged string, and contacted DR customer service. I haven't even received a response in two weeks, which demonstrates how unimportant we are. In this day and age, where online retail is more important then ever, this is unacceptable. This is NOT a reflection on Guitar Center, which always takes good care of me. Ultimately, these strings are a cheesy gimmick that will hopefully fade out. If you want quality coated-strings, try Elixir.DS

I decided to pick up guitar after a 15 year break and found Rocksmith to be a pretty useful tool. I put these on my guitar to help with getting familiar with the fretboard and neck. Because it's been awhile. The first couple of days, the strings sounded great with no issues, but a couple of weeks in, some of the strings sound muted a little bit and are just not as crisp as non-coated strings. i'll probably take these off sooner than later. I would recommend these for RockSmith but if you're looking to just dress up your guitar, I would caution against them.Citiznkain

I'm a beginner and I never learned to read music. I bought these strings specifically to play along with the game Rocksmith 2014. For those who are just starting out, these strings make it easier to learn to play because of the individual colors of each string. I have bought multiple packs of these strings. I've recently bought a electric guitar, acoustic/electric, and a bass. I have put these strings on all three. Love them. Have been on a medium-gauge string bender and these baby bubbies were an ear-pleasing discovery. Their tone; in E standard tuning on an Epi LP-100; is very similar to that of GHS GB-LOW Boomers strings (rich and bronze-like). Lacking the thicker core on the wound strings, though, the tension is shared more with the plain steel strings. The result of that shared tension is the 0.011" thick 1st string doesn't feel wimpy and, when drop-tuning, the 0.054" 6th string doesn't feel flubby. Drop tuning's not my bag, but for those who do such things, it's nice to know you won't have five tight strings and a rubber band. The 0.022" 3rd string doesn't feel too thick in real life, either. If the wound strings were thicker cored, I think they would have sounded even better (and they sound darned excellent after a few days of use) and definitely would've felt better, but these are excellent strings.thombrogan

I browsed through a few dozen comments and was surprised a little that nobody mentioned Jaguars. If you play a bag these are what you shoul d have on there or at least give them a good tryout. The shorter scale means lower tension so modern ultra thin strings like the factory .009s just don't balance out the mechanical design of a jaguar. These do. Their higher tension increases downward pressure on the saddles preventing slipping and of course increases pull on the term system making it both more stable and more responsive. Plus you get that punchy thumpy chimey surf sound that thin strings just don't seem to produce.Old guy.

Holy guacamole Batman, these strings are great! I just got these put on and setup by a great local tech and this made my guitar play like heaven! I setup that guitar in drop c# and it gives it enough bounce without the flop..Saadi

(Guitar there were placed on is a Tom Murphy Painted and Aged Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard w/ Brazilian Fretboard) Back in the day, Ernie Ball strings weren't packaged well; they weren't even sealed. If you haven't tried them since their packaging was reinvented, they're definitely worth a look now. Tried D'Addario pure nickel strings, found the wound three to be too low output. I swear the core wire looked like it belonged in acoustic strings. Maybe I got a factory defect, who knows. Gibson strings sound great initially but the 'G' starts to sound dead after a week and the wound strings sound dead and filthy in three weeks. These on the other hand sound marvelous. They sound great out of the package, stay balanced, and sound good for longer than I thought possible.MidnightRiderInTX

I have recently come back to playing the guitar, Sax is my primary instrument but I have had my Gibson RD Standard since 1978. I have since increased my heard of guitars to 10 electric guitars and 3 bass guitars. I have come to favor the Ernie Ball lights and super lights on almost all my guitars. I play the 9's on all of my Stratocaster copies and the super lights on the 3/4 size guitars. I love the feel as far as tone, intonation, flexibility ease of bends and how the strings hold up as a whole. I would definitely recommend to a friend or buy this produce again.Antonio

I have been using the Power Slinkys (11s) for a few years now. I had switched from another brand because the Slinkys made my Strat sound more Straty. After watching a few videos on YouTube about string gauge, I thought I would buy the Regular Slinkys (10s) and see what difference that would make. When I got online to buy I saw that Guitar Center had a sale on 12 packs and since there is a pandemic, I thought it prudent to hoard strings. My logic was that while I may run out of TP, I would never run out of strings for my guitars. Long story short, you cannot go wrong with the tone of 10s. I do like them better than the 11s. They are much clearer in the low end and you get more definition. I have to do less EQing when recording and they just seem to pop better in a mix. The only downside is that they are taking me time to get used to, I play very heavy handed and these are much easier to bend. But I can already see that I have less hand fatigue.Richard

See above. I play a 12/6 1982 Ibanez Studio. The 6 gets the usual EB slinky regulars. I have tried EB slinky 12's, and didn't care for them. They were stiff and too jangly of a tone for my taste. These EB light nickels for the electric 12 are perfect. And they last. It is a lot of personal preference, but I think the most important thing with elec 12 string axes is to get a gauge spectrum that works for your needs. Unfortunately, it is trial and error. Superb. Haven't popped one yet, and I am quite rough on them. 9 bucks a pair is a steal.Timothy Benz

I've been playing multiple stringed instruments for over 40 years and have tried nearly every brand of strings made but I always came back to Ernie Ball. For probably the last 15 years i've used Ernie Ball exclusively. Unless someone starts giving me free guitar strings(6 & 12), mandolin, bass & uke strings, i'll stay exclsively Ernie Ball For all my instrument strings. Even if given some other brand i'd go with EB when I had to spend my money. The string brand I trust thru years of experience. These strings are absolutely fantastic for a FULL humbucker guitar (Les Paul or SG). Would not put them on single coil guitars though (Stratocaster or Telecaster). They are a lot brighter and tinnier than Pure Nickel. From this point on, these are all I'll use on my Epiphone SG….sound great and last a long time without losing their sound.White Dog

I took a lot of years off and I had stock 10s on my G&Ls that was killing my hands so I played those for a while and endured my shortcomings as my hands were in training to regain the strength of my youth. Then made the switch to Ernie Ball Hybrid 0946s and that felt better but still felt like a battle when playing faster licks and solos. A friend suggested that I try the NYXL0942. Wow! I felt like I was in a time warp and back to my old self from years ago. These NYXLs have initially withstood my bending and time will tell to see if they are as tough as advertised. Also they feel like I am playing nylon strings so they are a lot more comfortable. Could be the lighter gauge but I think the string design also has something to do with that. The only thing I notice is that they do not ring out as loudly as my previous strings but it does not matter when you plug in. Really glad about these strings and will probably be putting these on all my guitars.MediumSexy

I love the sound of NYXL. They provide me with a pearl like sound that I can use for jazz as well as for heavier sounding music. The strings have qualities that last for a very long time. I usually change my strings every week. I left them for a month on my guitar just to see how they would sound. They sound fantastic… they would lose some freshness after about two weeks but they still hold a great deal of quality after two months playing. They also stay in tune after you pull your strings. I use them on a Strandberg and I love the sound of NYXL with that guitar.Piotr Bal

These strings are a great sounding string with a full tone. I typically used an 11 string guage and went down to a 10 on my current guitar setup. When I tried the 9s I thought I would lose some of the warmth and fullness, but they sound fairly consistent with with heavier guage strings and are easier to play and bend. Now I just have to learn to have a lighter touch when I play…chad

These Blue Steel strings are so lively I am surprised they don't get up and walk away from the guitar! They have a resonance to them that is more than simply an added brightness; in fact, I have found that other types of strings are unbearably bright using the hot 498T bridge pickup on my Les Paul Special. These strings, though, seem more balanced to me and nicely crunchy in the midrange and bass, with an extra ring to them at all frequencies, not just the high end. They last forever even with daily play. I usually plug into my computer and use guitar amp modeling in GarageBand or Logic, and these strings shine through every tweak I can make. My only complaint, as noted above, is that the last set I put on the guitar seemed rough on my fingers at first. I hadn't noticed this before, but I had used a different brand last time I changed the strings and although they died within a couple of weeks, they were silky smooth to play. The new Blue Steel strings felt a bit like little metal files when I first put them on, but after a break-in period of just a few hours of play (or perhaps a callus-growing period?), they felt fine. I try different strings from time to time, but I always keep coming back to these, and I am never disappointed with them. I have a pack of Ernie Ball strings that I am going to try next, just because everyone raves about them, but I think chances are slim that I will switch allegiances. I love these strings. Love love love! I suppose the main feature of these strings is the processing they go through. Whatever they do to them, it works. They sound better on my Les Paul Special than any others I have put on it. The strings come in a sealed package and so remain uncorroded and shiny even if you don't use them right away. I have yet to break one of these while playing. My only complaint is that they seem to chew up my fingers when brand new. Or maybe I was just having a bad left hand day. They wore smoother with some play. A bit more expensive, but they last longer than most other strings I have tried, so you can probably get away with changing them less often without a reduction in sound. Overall I love these strings, they suite my style greatly and they sound so good through my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and Fender Blues Junior! These strings are number 1 in my arsenal of strings because to me, i enjoy the brightness that these strings offer! they get me the nice twangy, chimey crystal clear bright tone and sound and each note i hit with these strings really pronounces so greatly! i only set my hot rod deville's drive barely on 2 and i get a nice rich gritty sound and when i strum at the tip of the neck like Kieth Richards does, i get that nice bell like chime perfectly. One thing to note with these is, in order to keep that nice rich flavor to them, you gotta use string cleaning oil such as fastfret or dunlop string cleaner, you cant let the grease from your fingers sit on these after gigs or long times of play because it will dead end the tone greatly. but all in all these strings are great, they are my number 1 brand strings i like to use! One thing to note is you have to keep up on making sure you clean these strings right after you play because if grease from your fingers is left on them it will greatly dead end the tone. Not a bad value just wish they were less but they are worth it though.cUpBsrmjO

I used Fender strings a long time ago and they always performed well. I made the change to super slinkys many moons ago but decided to go back to 350L when I changed over to my Nighthawk. The slinkys seemed a little dull, maybe it has something to do with the Nighthawk having a Fender scale length. Great move! Everything is much brighter and present with no sacrifice on bottom definition. I play every day and liked the longevity of the super slinkys so we will have to see how the Fenders compare. I've tried many different brands (I used to be an instrument seller) and this is the best set I've ever tried… They feel great and slide well, no metallic squeaks, and the harmonic content is very rich and smooth. They sound a bit vintage, I guess. When you do chords, the different strings blend very well together, it's very musical. They don't have beefy lows, but that's what I like. I would not necessarily recommend them if you play metal, but for everything else, they are magical.Etienne

I was impressed by the sound, very full and harmonically rich, but I noticed the high e string kept detuning. Eventually, the high e just snapped, but it didn't break; the winding at the ball end came undone. I had 3 other sets and checked the e strings, and the winding at the ball end is very minimal. Sure enough, same thing happened to all the other sets I tried. In short: sounds and feels good, but the strings need more winding at the ball end, and they need to be wound tighter.TX P.

Overall: Got a couple sets of the extra light (D930) strings put one of the sets on my Gretsch G5425. Easy on, tunes well and after stretching the strings it holds tune very well. The bass is strong and no too overpowering and the treble was bright without being tinny. The middle was a little underwhelming at times, but I'm not sure if it was the strings or the amp I was using. When I changed amps there were no issues. I would definitely use these again. Next up will be trying a set out on my Les Paul, after I burn up the strings on it.Steve

A colleague of mine turned me on to these, and in particular to this strange gauge of 9.5 – 44. I had struggled in the past with standard 9s on a guitar with high output pickups and a warble-happy whammy bar. I find these strings to handle really nicely, a perfect amount of slick and grip (finger contact) and they positively scream in my current configuration. I've put them on a guitar that I don't play live often, and I find that the strings don't deteriorate over time with the guitar being left in the case. This is very subjective and a question of personal chemistry. I mean, I've seen players go through a pack of the best "long-lasting" string on the market in one night, so it'll always come down to which material lends itself to your handling. Despite the price tag, I am not sorry that I've purchased those, and I just picked up a few more packs to tide me over the months of session work.Boyan P.

I have been using these strings for about a year now, when I had to drop down to 8 gauge strings due to carpal tunnel in my left hand. I wanted to go with a higher quality string since I would be using such a light gauge. The NYXL series does not disappoint. They are extremely flexible, stay in tune, last a really long time and they sound incredible. I had concerns that I would be sacrificing tone, but this has not been the case. Not only are the strings not aggravating my carpal tunnel, I'm enjoying the ease of playability and wicked vibrato and bends. I wish I had made the switch to these strings much sooner.Jon

This is the first time I tried these D'Addario NYXL strings. I got the nickel wound electric strings, regular light. I think these strings are one of the best I've used. I started playing guitar when I was very young so I've been playing for a lot of years. These nickel wound electric guitar strings are easy to play. The strings are nice on the fingers. Some strings make my finger tips get tuff, but tuff to the point that it affects the preasure I use on the strings. These nickel wound strings don't do that. I have had them on for some time now and none of them broke. I like the tone of the strings. It made tuning the guitar very easy after I strung it. There is something to say about having strings that are easy to string, tune, and have a great tone. If you are playing out some where and a string breaks you need to work kind of fast to get up and playing again. These strings do the trick.penny

I really like these strings. They are warm, and give what I believe to be the best tone on my Stratocaster's and Telecaster. I don't really remember when I first started using Pure Nickel strings (of any brand), but I DO know I have never used anything but Pure Nickel since. The strings got a 4 star rating. I purposely omitted 1 star because, I feel they don't last as long as say a Nickel wound D'Addario would…but then again, I have not found a Pure Nickel D'Addario set of strings. So I forfeit the longevity for the tone. I DID just today order some Fender 150M (medium gauge 11's)…which are also Pure Nickel. I would never order 10 sets of strings if I didn't like them. Once I get to play the 11's, I will give a review on that product page. As far as Fender Pure Nickel strings go…you can't go wrong on the tonal quality. Rock on!!!White Dog

For years I've played flatwound strings, but when I bought my new Fender American Professional Jaguar I was taken by how lively and expressive the strings were! I left them on. There was a learning curve, with me having to learn a lighter touch, but the more I played them the more I liked them, I went on the Fender website, clicked on the "Chat with us" button, and asked what set came on the Jaguar. It was this set – the Fender 250L Super 250 Nickel-Plated Steel Electric Guitar Strings. VERY musical, VERY expressive! BUY THESE ! I hadn't used Fender strings for 30 years . A friend of mine bought out a music store so to liquidate he sold me all the strings and drum sticks in stock .. there were mostly Fender strings so I started using them . 20 packs of 9's lasted me well over a year . I work at least 3 night a week as a lead guitarists / vocalist . so I use my main Strat a lot . after I ran out of Fender's I used GHS and noticed I was breaking strings .. so I tried the Ernie Ball's .. breaking strings again ! I went to a local music store and bought a pack of Fender's . as an experiment I wasted to see how long before one would break . SIX WEEKS ! .. THEY LASTED 6 WEEKS ! .. Bought these strings cause I have been using Dunlop 10's for a few years now and wanted to try out a set of 7's. They do sound a little brighter to me then 10's as one would expect but they still have great tone. I can see why someone with a problem like arthritis should use these strings, fingering a cord is effortless and bends a just ridiculous. I could bend up 2 whole steps without a problem. If you use these you have to be a very light player. When I swapped out the 10's on my Les Paul for these I was thinking I could lower the action a bit but as it turns out if I played as hard as I did before I would get al kinds of buzzing. I would guess this is cause there is less tension on the strings which would allow the range they move to be more then a higher gauge string. I gave these 5 stars cause they are great strings, have great tone, I never broke a string in the time I used them and they stayed in tune. That being said I have since gone to 9's. As I said there not for everyone. I would recommend them to a friend but only if they were looking for the qualities that I found these strings to have.Shot

I've been using 7's for the past several years on my Epiphone SG's (with Gibson '57 humbuckers), and although they make the sound understandably a bit thin or tinny, you can make up for this a little bit depending on the amp you have. Even so, the better feel is what I was really after, and these have come through every time in that respect. My hands don't cramp up or anything, and I can do string bends with total ease. Previously I had used 8's, which I think were Ernie Ball, but noticed a better difference in feel and playability when I switched to these 7's (by the way, I use .46 Dunlop picks and have for many years). From the reviews I've read on these the past few years, a lot of people like these 7's like I do, so I hope Dunlop doesn't stop making them anytime soon. Their price is very reasonable too. I will say, however, that I've had a few issues at times with the high B & E strings popping out of the bridge saddle and, in the case of the high E, even getting snagged on the bottom edge of a fret or two, but this could've been the condition of the guitar too, plus my SG's are tuned a 1/2 step down from standard pitch, so the strings are even slinkier than they would be otherwise. Also, I've very rarely ever broken one of these 7's (if I ever have), but nonetheless there's an increased risk, surely, of that happening due to their thinness. Still, all things considered, I like these strings and will continue to use them when possible.Rick

These strings feel like clothes hangers. Hard and stiff and non responsive. They do not stay in tune after stretching. I feel bad to review this product poorly. I have always played Dean Markley Blue Steels forever…. trying these makes me understand why I would never change what works. ZZ Tops sound is amazing and how Billy G gets there is all his own… just would never work for me. All the Dunlop strings feel stiff and hard to the fingertips…. sorry… not sorrylongwhip

I build guitars and buy these for setups period. I have tried to use these on one occasion just for kicks but found the tension all wrong. Not so much on the wound strings as the unwound upper strings. I found the tension and feel really poor. They seemed to be ridiculous to bend and if you managed that they felt like they were about ready to snap. I did not like the brittle tone either. The feel of these is just all wrong but they are cheap and fine to use for building but my guitars would never go out with these!Thump54

Musicians Gear strings are perfect for any player. If you get your strings for free because of an endorsement deal, you can claim a better value. I don't have that option = I pay for my strings. I change strings about once a month, sometimes more often, because NOTHING sounds as good as a new set of strings. But I can't afford big coins to keep fresh strings on them. These MGs are very affordable, they sound great, they play well, they are consistent, and I am very happy when I play with new strings. The new packaging helps stop rust and corrosion, so I usually buy in boxes of 10, just so I have some on hand.guitarpicker7

I use these strings all the time. Dont believe all the nonsense you read- they sound good, they last well and they are affordable. If you dont need to pay double or triple for hype, buy these strings. The best sounding strings in the world are new strings. Buy a stack of these and change them whenever you need to. The more you play, the more often you will need to change them. Even a cheap guitar will sound good with new strings. And the most expensive guitar will sound bad with old strings. Recommended by a friend. The action on them is great. Great tone. Love the way that they sound and feel. Have tried many other types of strings and these are by far the best ones I have used. I will use these from now on. I am still learning how to play and these strings are make it easier.Chris
