This is a battery kit to make your active guitar or bass rechargeable instead of using 9v batteries. it should work with most instruments.the conversion is fairly simple and you only need to drill a 1/2 inch hole on a rear cover for the usb charging port and solder the connectors. I traced it to the jack on the bottom of the unit where the line from the input jack plugged in. I can't move my guitar without the noise. Although the style and look of the guitar is amazing, along with all of the accessories, the biggest issue is the making of the guitar. The strings placement above the neck and along the guitar is too high up. It needs to sit parallel to the whole neck. It rises higher near the body and slowly lowers along the neck. Not a big issue if you know how to play the guitar, but for a beginner and for quality sound, the strings need to be hovering directly parallel along the whole guitar.Helaman H.
My granddaughter is 7yrs old. I wanted to do something different for Christmas this year, so I purchased a acoustic guitar. I’m thinking 30inches will be a nice size for her. When I received it the box was small and without taking it out the box I knew it wasn’t the size I thought it was going to be! Not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews on this product, because it is not a good guitar. I bought it for my daughter to learn on and it will not stay in tune no matter what you do. I even tried changing the strings on it and it just refuses to stay in tune. I guess if you're just looking to get your kid used to holding a guitar and pressing the strings it is ok for that, but I would recommend spending a little more money on something decent that your kid can learn on. I am a guitar player and I have the full sized guitar from BCP and it is an excellent value for what you get, but this one just falls flat. No pun intended. 🙂Andrew

I bought the battery for dedicated use in an electric guitar. After charging the battery overnight I plugged it in to the guitar and played for just under an hour. By the time I started driving they weren't making cars with 6 volt electrical systems anymore. Now I understand why! A few years ago I began returning my 1962 VW bus to stock. Recently I had a period correct engine installed. In 1962 VW buses were 6 volt. After the install I quickly became familiar with the limitations of 6 volt system when it comes to cranking – basically I had one, maybe two chances to get the engine cranked before the battery was too weak to continue. After considering everything from daily jumpstarts to returning to 12 volt, I read some reviews about the Optima 6 volt from other 6 volt owners having similar issues. Long story short, I ordered the Optima and couldn't be happier! Starts every time even on cold mornings. As always the service from Summit was exceptional. The best battery I have ever owned for my classic cars. My '47 Chevy has the Optima 6V with 800 crank and never fails. Believe it or not it is 6 years old and still cranking. It sure beats the 6V acid battery which are difficult to find and ($120-$145) and they give a 1-2 year warranty on it. There is basically no maintenance on it, no distilled water to add. I just had to make a new box for it which was no big deal. I did replace my generate on the '47 with an alternator which the Optima seems to like. I drive my car 12 months a year so it always stay charged. Never needs a trickle charge in between rides. One of the best products in my opinion on the market for a classic!BOB

Just be careful not to let it rock backwards if you use the tilt feature. The transformer is near the back panel, which makes the amp back-heavy. Mine tipped onto its back the first day, busting the tiny ground lift switch. Acus should think about putting that switch on the top panel, as it's the only thing on the back that's likely to break if the amp rocks onto its back.Tom

Great value, perfect for any car audio great size, I use two of these connected in parallel to power a 5000 watts stereo system in my 2010 Civic Si coupe but you need to upgrade your alternator, this SX batteries last a very long time and since they are liquid free you can install them in any position they won't spill. I go to sound off competitions if you have serious audio system in your car you need serious batteries to do the job and SX batteries got the power you need.keorinite
Had to first check if my “Battery Tender ™” was compatible, it was, next morning the green light was on and in it went. Couple of pumps on weber and she fired right up. One review read said he thought that all the electrical system to work a noticeable bit better, I have seen similar effect. All of about 3 weeks on the J10, so far I’m liking it! Tad pricey though. I installed this battery in a 94 Mustang GT that I am rebuilding. I had put a very cheap small lead battery in it back in Feburary and it had already died. I was either going to put an Optima or this one and the reviews were so much better for the XS and I am glad I bought it. This battery is awesome it cranks the car so much faster and it even feels like I am getting better spark to the cylinders too I don't know how just a battery could do this but it feels better. I had to hack the stock tray by just cutting the end lip off to get it to fit but it is worth it. Highly reccomend this battery I also bought the XS charger which seems to be very well built. As always Summit is a great company shipped and arrived quick.JEFF

After allowing the guitar few weeks to adjust and giving it a good set up including new strings and a neck adjustment (tightening the rod), Conditioning the fret board and a good polish, The guitar is easy to play and has great sound for an inexpensive guitar. I like the So Cal green color others may not as it is a vintage vibe. Tuners are price point but even price point tuners these days are decent. A little sticking from the nut, I think I can lightly file that out and add some nut sauce. The fret ends were not too sharp but I conditioned them to a nice smooth finish useing 500 grit sponge. Very little cost to make improvements and the guitar is fun to play. The sustain is probably the biggest suprise and I am satified to practice with this guitar every day. Very pleased for the cost. Guitar is ok for the price; however, I was expecting the strings to last longer than 2 days before breaking. Even the extra ones that came with the bundle broke as I was putting them on. I had to buy better ones and had a professional put them on to make sure they were adjusted correctly. Additionally, the small tuner's battery was dead out of the box so I had to get a new one. Again, I guess you get what you get for the price. On a positive note, the guitar looks nice, the small amps is super convenient, and everything arrived fast and together in one box.Luis L.
The guitar did not have the black scratch panel that is shown in the Sunburst guitar. Also, when my son opened the gift guitar, the black bag was covered in a white mold/mildew. It was delivered one week before his birthday and kept in a dry room, and opened for the first time on his birthday. The guitar seems ok, I will know more when someone with some guitar knowledge checks it out for me. It may be going back to the store. The pictures show exactly what the bag looked like minutes after the gift was opened. Looks rough, 2 stars are for the fact that the guitar was not moldy.Kacee
