It's an amazing strap as it is very comfortable on the shoulder but it's a chore setting it up to ones specs, second, unless you play guitar chest high I'd advise ordering a separate extension strap(see pic) that allows you to droop the guitar low in playing. One more concern is the stitch mending at the leather/neoprene connection point, it doesn't look as if it will last long but maybe I'm wrong but for preventative measures I'll have it reinforced stitched as soon as possible. The strap is comfortable and has a unique design. The only downfall is the length. I do not know many people who play with the guitar on their chest. 6 more inches of length and this strap would be great. I gave it 3 stars because it is well made. Very well made, and not as stretchy as other neoprene straps I've used. The combination of the neoprene material and the 4-inch wide design makes this a really comfortable strap, but it's not without flaws. The way you adjust the strap length is a bit complicated, and the overall length of the strap is unimpressive. If you like to wear your guitar low I would not recommend this strap. I'm not one of those guys that like to sling their guitar down to their knees, but I had to adjust the strap to it's max length for it to be comfortable, and the neoprene part of the strap just barely managed to stay on my shoulder area. That being said, you can adjust this strap to be very short, and most guys I've seen with this strap seem to be bassists who like to wear their bass really high, so I think this strap is the most ideal for players who like to wear their instrument high.Tx Pete

This is the perfect strap. The cushion design really alleviates any fatigue or discomfort you may have after playing for a long period of time. It's looks amazing and different from anything else. I have to plug the neotech super axe straps I have been using for over 10 years now. They are right up there with the Mono strap for quite a bit less money. I had a few reasons to try the Mono strap and I am extreamly pleased that I did. #1- I wore out my first Neotech and wanted to replace it. (Using it since 2002) #2- I bought the Mono bass gig bag and LOVE it, so I was curious to try their strap. #3- I sprained my left shoulder, and although the Neotech straps were great, I wondered if maybe there was something that would work even better to releive the inflamed joint. Frankly I'm surprised. It seems even more comfortable than the Neotech, or padded leather Levy straps I use for my other basses. If there is one thing that concerns me about the Mono strap, it's the powder coated metal attachment they use. Functionally it's fine, but if you like to leave the strap locked on to your instrument while it's in the gig bag, or case, it might scratch or ding the finish. I've had no trouble with the plastic used on the other straps in that regaurd. And finally, a strap long enough for a grizzley bear sized bass player like me!:-)Charlie
As an elementary school music teacher my guitar and strap get a workout everyday. Sometimes the guitar and strap come on and off my neck 40 or 50 times in one day. With a pair of Schaller strap-locks on this strap I truly have NO concerns at all about the possibility of it failing. I haven't bought a second strap to use for "outside-of-school" playing, but that will be remedied soon! So I go to put the strap on the telecaster. The leather ends have the slot/holes cut out. Maybe this was a little off but it took forever to get the strap over the buttons. I actually unscrewed the bottom button, put it through the strap and screwed it back in. No kidding, and all the time trying not to damage the guitar or finish. Guess it won't be falling off any time soon. So yeah it works great as a strap but just try to get it on an off the guitar!eagle_watch

I play T-birds & Les Paul basses which carry a lot of weight. My son bought me one of these for Christmas one year and I've been hooked on these ever since, I have one set up for my T-Bird basses and the other one set up for my Les Paul basses. I've been gigging as a bassist off an on since the early '80s. I'm older and (hopefully) wiser, with a left shoulder that really hurts during and after those 3 to 4 hour gigs. After buying countless straps to try out I decided to try out this double strap. It has basically solved the issue and has allowed me to bring out my heavier basses, including my 4003 and an older Jazz. It does restrict some of my stage antics a tad, but it's a worthwhile trade off. Now the downside. As delivered it was too short to be of use to me. I'm 5'11" with fairly wide shoulders but no behemoth. So, I had to order the strap length extender strap as an additional purchase. OK I'm all set…. as long as I'm OK with having a black strap wrapped around the top horn of any bass I want to use it with. My favorite color is white. Many of my basses are white. My beloved 4003 is mapleglow. I don't want a black choker looking strap strangling the horn. AHA, a solution! They sell a strap that goes between the strap pins on the back of the guitar and allows you to loop the second strap to that, thus obviating the problem… So that's two additional purchases I had to make to make this fit my needs. The only other downside is that some of my bandmates make jokes about my "sex harness" on stage. All in all recommended, but forewarned forearmed.Fog Render
Great idea and I was really hoping it would work because I play six string basses and have developed some painful back problems, however this strap didn't work on my basses. It didn't provide the desired redistribution of weight from my left shoulder, to both shoulders. Also the part that wrapped around the upper horn on my bass didn't look very good. I've had 2 of these and they are not to be believed. You strap this baby on and you'll channel good old Johnny. Quality craftsmanship throughout. NOT a piece of junk. However, the metal must be cleaned periodically or rust and tarnish will set in. One of my favorite straps I own. Pricey, but it's just like the one the Chief Beatle used. Exactly the same. What I love about this strap is on me I can open it up to the max and the guitar sits just how I want it when I'm standing up. Now I'm not super tall (5"6') so again you need to factor that in as well ! That aside it's just the right width … I'm not a fan of straps that are 3 or more inches wide. This strap width is 2. Now it also is reasonably comfortable. There's definitely some amount of padding in it … and I usually opt against thick feeling padding straps and this starts to approach that but isn't over padded if that makes sense. When compared to high end Levy's straps I don't know how well the strap is going to last overtime (the leather feels slightly thinner and it is stitched very well. You can guess I'm picky and narrowed down to this strap from about 40 based on value but not completely ignoring quality. In the end it's a nice guitar strap. If you can find it for under $30 like I did then it's a really good deal !mgreco2k5

Seriously, this is a beautiful guitar strap. I've fitted it with strap locks and put it on my Olympic White American Pro and it's just the perfect finishing touch. It's really soft and supple right from new and looks as good as it feels. It's WELL worth the price and although it might look like a bit of a gamble, trust me it's one that pays off. I've been stoked all day after getting this and putting it on my guitar. I've attached a photo. For those that are interested, the black plastics kit was 18, the scratchplate 27 and the Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Humbuckers were 80 each. They still sound exactly like a Strat should, maybe with little more guts but they don't lose any of the essential sound of the Strat. They are however completely silent in positions 1, 3 and 5 and well worth the money in terms of build and sound quality and if 60 cycle hum is something you want to avoid they are a great solution. I bought this in Chestnut for a Blueridge Historic series acoustic guitar and it matches up with it very well. It is 2" wide and quite soft. The leather on the finished side has nice color and character, like the picture shows. The reverse side is tan with enough texture to keep the guitar in place. I have an ebony endpin and D'Addario round strap button (neck heel). The strap went on with reasonable effort, but I found that due to its softness, the endpin occasionally slipped off (when picking the guitar up and thankfully never hit the floor). I bought two rubber washers, placed between the strap and the outside lip of the buttons, at the local hardware store (3/8" ID x 3/4" OD) for under a buck – problem completely solved. I really like this strap, kind of like a worn in pair of jeans. It looks great and the 2" width is comfortable for the relative light weight of an acoustic guitar.C-ville Brent
I purchased this strap in black/white reversible. Technically, that's true, I guess. However, there is a huge "MADE IN CANADA" stamp on the white side near the end. So, in my mind, it really isn't reversible. Tacky! Other than that, it is a good strap. I almost sent it back, but I can just use the black side.DJA

Sound: The sound quality is excellent. While not my personal favorite, the Greenback speaker sounds very good. The amp tone is very responsive to touch and the volume knob on the guitar. Features: I love the color, and the tone is very shapeable with the controls. I knocked off for not including a footswitch snd those crap Chinese tubes. You couldnt have included some JJ's? Ease of Use: I was playing out within two days of purchase and receiving compliments. The master volume is a nice feature. Quality: Built like a tank. I feel like it will last a long time. Value: It is very well priced compared to its competition. Manufacturer Support: Haven't needed support. That's a good thing! The Wow Factor: Purple covering, blue grill cloth, Vox tone! All that equals wow! Overall: I received this amp on Friday abd was using it in church on Sunday. I received several compliments on my tone abd the master volume was nice in controlling stage volume. It took my pedals very well!Marvin
This is a good strap for keeps. I might have exchanged it for a darker color but I think it will suit my Taylor with Ovangol body, as the color is close. It is quite strong to hold a Les Paul but I prefer the ones with the tooled end as seems to have some extra thickness at the ends. Would help if they can make it slightly shorter but with some manupulation we could reduce the length of it if necessary. The feautures are great.Soft suede type leather & the color may be more suitable for acoustic guitar I guess as it seems more on the brighter side & may stabd out on your shirt a bit too much. Someone said the length was too long but I found it just a little over the average strap, which can be good for different types of guitars. Gave it a 7 since the color may be too bright & the leather a tad too soft, but I doubt it would wear out soon & can stand for long. Good. You can't beat that price for sure. It is definitely worth it.
Soft leather and excellent craftsmanship are what makes this my favorite guitar strap. I've worn mine four hours a night for years hosting open mics and playing shows and have never had an issue with comfort. Not only is the instrument's weight spread out over it's width, the leather conforms to the shape of your body, like a glove does, very nice.
