Best Guitar Room Humidifier (2024 Update)

I've had the unit running a solid 2 days now. I have been moving it from living room during the day to bedroom at night. Controls work well, very sleek design and not loud or anything like that. I have not tried the auto function yet, but rather I have found that if I want to get the humidity up near 50%, I need to set the wanted value to 55% or else it never really gets close to the 50% and the unit cuts off before it reaches the 50% mark. It also seems that when you first power up the unit when moving it from room to room it does take some time for it to calibrate and "discover" the new room and its humidity level. For example, in a 30 some odd % humidity environment, it will start reading in the 40s and slowly come down to the 30% range of the room over time and then build from there as the unit runs. Other than learning a little bit about things like that the only thing I had concern over was the water tank cap and residual water dripping under the tank when removing to refill. On the water tank cap, I am surprised there is no documentation to add a silicone lubricant etc to the gasket/seal. I think over time that it will degrade by tightening the cap repeatedly. And as for the drips, I am thinking that this is normal as you remove the tank, but wondering if there was any finite way to make sure that no water drips from underneath.amantalv

I used this humidifier for about three weeks. I filled the tank with distilled water and cleaned it regularly. It worked well until it didn't. I unplugged the unit, filled the tank, plugged it back in, pressed the power button and nothing happened. Couldn't even turn it on. Thought the design was a bit odd. The power cord comes directly out of the bottom of the humidifier which decreases the stability of the unit even on a flat surface, The water tank is bottom filled making it impossible to flip it right side up to set it back in the unit without spilling water all over the surface it sits on and the power cord coming from the bottom of the humidifier. Had it for four months now. There are water droplets caught up in the LED display. And for about a week it showed humidity in my bedroom was 90% and wouldn't work because of that. There is NO WAY the humidity in my room was 90%! I have a fish room right next to it and even that room only gets to about 75% when I'm not running the DEhumidifier in it! You can tell when humidity is 90% because the air feels heavy, and that was NOT the case! After having it off for about two weeks, I turned it back on and it showed a more-proper 60%. But as it stayed on, the humidity display continued to fall for about 10-15 minutes until the display said 30%. I gave it a three because I do like the bigger reservoir and the large opening. But the readings, display, and controls are just all off and don't seem to work properly. Also, when it runs out of water, it reads empty for about five minutes before turning itself completely off, leaving you to wonder why it turned off overnight. And if you fill it during that five minutes, it will NOT start back up on it's own. You have to manually turn it back on and restart it, even if it's on "auto" settings.Erica

This is a huge improvement over the previous design by tweaking almost every component. From a larger reservoir hatch to greater isolation of the steam port, et twiddly bits al. Great humidifier. It actually works and increases humidity in my house by a lot! I like how it reads the percentage but also that I can tell the difference in the air. I had bought one of another brand that was more expensive and it did not humidify very well at all. This one works wonderful and I can control it from my phone. 5 stars for sure!Sarah A

We purchased this humidifier based on a Wirecutter review, and also because it's supposed to humidify a room up to 750 sq ft. It's in our bedroom which is maybe 400 sq ft at the most, and so far, it seems unable to reach 50% humidity level, and hovers around 40%. Without the humidifier the humidity hovers around 26-27%, so it's an improvement, but not what we expected. Features that we like include being able to set a humidity % as well as it showing the current humidity. Also like the night setting so that numbers aren't lighting up the room at night. Haven't cleaned it yet and hoping it won't be too much of a pain!ShanghaiMom

Wow! The Pure Enrichment Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is a great little humidifier. Sits perfectly on my nightstand to give me the added moisture in the air while sleeping. The built-in night light eliminates use of the other night lights. The settings, low mist, low mist with night light, high mist, high mist with night light are absolutely amazing to have that many options in such a small unit. Holds enough water for at least three nights sleep on low. Easy to fill, just sit it in a measuring cup while you fill it up. I purchased this humidifier after much research. The selling point was the 5 year warranty on the unit. This unit has four options. Low mist with no nightlight, low mist with nightlight, high mist with no light night, high mist with nightlight. The high mist setting is very impressive. I really didn't think I would bother with the nightlight, but find that it does help me check on the dog and I like to do yoga with the nightlight on. It is blue, but very dim. For those of you who cannot have a light AT ALL while you sleep, there is just one button (not an actually button, but a sensor) to turn on the unit. It will illuminate blue, but after a few seconds, it will shut off and the humidifier will be completely dark. On low mist, it is absolutely quiet. On high mist you might hear some light bubbling (very light, occasional, not constant) and an occasional burp. I sleep with this unit just one foot from my head and have no issues with noise. The nozzle can be turned to direct the mist. The mist, strangely or not so strangely enough, smells good and fresh. Odd, I know, but a nice point. The unit is easy to fill. Just lift that clear part up and away, flip it over, unscrew, and you have an opening to fill with water. I personally think this is a little big for a nightstand, but I am of the less-is-more type. I sleep with it on high and am completely happy with my purchase from Pure Enrichment. Highly recommended. Just be sure to measure where you plan on using this. About a year ago I picked up an essential oil diffuser that used a cup of water and a couple drops of oil and kept the house smelling nice. I thought to myself then, this looks like it can work as a humidifier if it were bigger. Flash forward and here we are it on that now holds about 6 cups of water and uses the same ultrasonic tech to create an even bigger mist. As one of the warnings states though.. “The use of water additives including ethereal/essential oils, fragrances, eucalyptus, water conditioners, etc. will damage the appliance materials and as a consequence the whole unit.“ So, not recommended as it could void the warranty, but it works the same. There are 4 settings that you cycle through that are just low/high with/without light. Super sensitive touch setting that will change with practically anything that may bump it. With a full tank you can get 24 hours on low, about half that on high. You can see and feel the cool water just rolling out of it like a little cloud maker. Depending on the quality of the water you put into it, you can practically smell the chemicals of tap water and harder water may leave residue in the nearby area if used over time. It will turn off on low water which will still have some in the tank and reservoir. So, be sure to dry it out if you don’t intend to use it for some time. Overall, for a single room this seems to be pretty effective. It has a 5 year warranty, which is pretty impressive for such a small device and something you might only use for a particular part of the year.DavidJr

I have had this product one other time. I like the size and, when new,the mist is excellent. The mist gradually decreased over time. I attempted to clean the mist outlet but I cannot find a brush that is small enough and long enough to adequately clean the small tube that allows the mist to travel upwards to the mist outlet. Per the cleaning instructions you are to remove the "mist nozzle", for which there is no designation on the diagram. Secondly when I tried to clean the Ultrasonic disk, several black spots appeared on the disc. Even for the reduced price, the instructions should be more clear and each part of the device clearly indicated and labeled on the diagram. I need to use a humidifier nightly and in spite of my careful attention to the instructions for use, it was finally no longer delivering the mist that I needed. Due to the inability to adequately clean what I believe to be the mist nozzle, there began to be a buildup of what appeared to be a pink mold. For the price, I chose to try this unit one more time. I will pay more attention to the timeline of the developing problems in order to provide better information to others who have bought this product and the people who provide the information in the user manual. At this point, I hesitate to give a wholehearted recommendation of the product.Sharon

I've got several humidifiers, some are better than others. This on works well if your instrument is always in its case. I prefer to have my guitar out, where I can get to it. I've come to a conclusion that it's easier to keep my guitars in a bedroom and buy a small humidifier for that room, monitoring the room humidity. Works best for me.Gary T

Its really nice, But there is not real explanation on how to light it up, you just have to push buttons until you find the lights, its says Nightlight at the top, but if you just push that when you plug in nothing happens. almost as if it had to warm up or cool down. Still gave it 5 stars, cause it works as described, pulls from 1 tank to the other, So that you can fill a tank once Its empty. The little blue round inserts go in the tanks, they are not connected to the machine.They reduce what is called WHITE DUST, that accumulates from Hard water. This machine creates a fog, so dense that it does as described. It really does Let steam out and it will really last 1.7 days or so on low, if you turn it all the way, up you might get a 18 hours out of it. It looks stylish and its really neat. I love it. Kids love it and the baby will love it also, Does not leave a Wet trail in front of it like most others, I am assured that it injects that air with moisture, and our home is more humid then dry after 48 hours of use. Besides me being confused on it. Its amazing, and I highly recommend it for whole house use up to 1000 Square feet.Dragon0716

We were given this as an early Christmas present and set it up. We’ve only had small humidifiers so this was a step up. Worked for a week and then started to leak. It will work for a couple hours and then stop put out moisture and then you will hear dripping and before you know it, the water from both compartments is leaking out EVERYWHERE. It’s a large amount of water. We had it on our living room first and them tried it on our kitchen countertops and made a big mess in both places. So disappointing and we don’t have a receipt. Got this for my birthday this August from my Nonna. She was sick of my SAYING I was going to buy myself one but never following through lol. Boy, am I glad she came through. It does work very, very well. But there are more negatives than I'm completely comfortable with tbh. I was super impressed by the sleek futuristic design initially. Until I had to interact with it every couple of days. Learned very quickly that the design is kind of impractical and inefficient. The sides that you have to refill are big, bulky, clunky, awkward to hold and even awkward to fill up WHILE awkwardly holding. Then, you have to flip over each awkward side (now, both awkward AND heavy), to secure to the base. Mid-flip, a cascade of water starts to flow from the top (once flipped) on BOTH sides. EVERY. Single. Time. The flow only stops once the side is securely on the base. I've learned to always have a dry towel or mop on hand so that I can clean up the water immediately and make sure the machine is not sitting on any standing water while the power is on. That's all I need haha. I am no stranger to trouble shooting. I've tried it all from paying extra special close attention when I tighten the cap after refilling, thinking, perhaps I wasn't tightening the cap enough – all the way to – engaging in the refilling process in super slow motion, thinking, perhaps I have been hasty and I was the actual cause. I was more than ready to just blame myself haha. However, to no avail, the broad range of possible causes on my end have been fully explored. I have to say, unless I'm missing something, it is of no fault of my own and a complete flaw due to the design. With that being said, I'd like to reiterate that the product works well, for the purposes in which one buys this item. It's the supporting features that most definitely need serious tweaking. I mean, I have to ask, WHY are the side tanks shaped he way they're shaped? Is there some kind of special functional reason? Why won't the side tanks stand upright when not held? Why do I have to flip the heavy, water-filled plastic tank while it spills all over the place and then mop, TWO TIMES? Why do I have to worry that my machine may be sitting on water while the power is on, due to previously stated cascading waterfall, thus, possibly causing an electrical fire, possibly electrocuting myself or some other crazy end result – all due to some precarious and seemingly unnecessary demands of design for this specific model machine? I'm no engineer, but my gut tells me that the features I find unnecessary and inconvenient are NOT features designed the way they are designed due to the fact that they are the ONLY route to some higher level water vapor/inhalation experience. Or that these features postulate the certainty in attaining maximized health benefits. I can only say that I hope that the company has evolved from this model and learned what not to do in future models. Hey, that's how we all grow ya kno? . Anyway, this whole flooding sitch is no way to live lol. I can't possibly be the only one with this experience. Anyway, in summary: they made a good product. The execution was just seriously flawed, in my opinion. I would totally trade this in for a cheaper humidifier even, if I could. That's how annoying the things I mention truly are. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything just trying to be as real and honest as I would prefer, if I were in the "potential customer" category or "creator of product" category. Take care! I purchased 2 of these humidifiers. I like the simple design yet I think it works very well. I have a humidifier in each of my guitars for a week now & the sponge is still moist even though I live in the dessert in Nevada. Great value. Unlike other reviews I find nothing wrong with these.Merk

This is a nice way to keep your acoustic guitars hydrated. I live in the mountains of NW GA and the humidity levels are friendly to guitars. So long as you keep your house in a reasonable comfort zone you generally don't have to worry about hydration. I track the relative humidity inside and utilize the product when the house becomes very dry. This is a nice product to keep your guitar happy and well hydrated.Gus

I love the fact that I can replace the sponge whenever I want to. Sometimes my guitar humidifiers grow mold due to being in the basement and I don't like them in the guitar when they're moldy. With this one I can clean it and change out the sponge and start fresh without buying a new one. Very happy about this product.Bluff

I love it and actually bought the second one for my 4 1/2. Have tried different products in 50-250$ price range. You get what you pay for. The huge advantage of this humidifier is that it diffuses humidity horizontally and you can point it where you want. It humidifies and disperses humidity very well. It is silent but not the most silent I have ever tried. Stadler Form was quieter, but this one is more efficient and HUGE advantage – you don’t need replacement filters. Probably overpriced and should cost a bit less, but they don’t have anything as effective and similar to compete with on the market. Definitely recommended if you can afford it, but wait for discount.David

Live in a high-rise condo in downtown Ottawa. Have baseboard electric heaters. Condo is very dry, and was getting notifications from smart thermostat that the humidity level was less than 20%. Mornings consisted of dry eyes, nose and throat. Have never purchased a humidifier, but am a fan of Dyson products, so purchased the Dyson AM10. Even though I'm a fan of most of the Dyson products, they have to work (had to return the 360 Eye). I had the humidifier up and running within 15 minutes. Set up was easy and intuitive. There is no way you can assemble this unit incorrectly – all the pieces fit only one way. I set the humidity level to 35% and fan set to level 6. Within a few days, the low humidity notifications stopped. My mornings have been considerably and noticeably better. With regard to the noise level, as previously stated, I have this set at 6 (maximum level is 10), and it is my living room. If it were not for the fine mist that you can see (when close enough), I would have no idea it was actually on. With regard to filling the tank, it is not a difficult chore. I have a double sink, I lay a towel over the divider, flip the reservoir upside down, fill and put back on humidifier. This takes approximately 3 minutes. I have to fill it in the morning when I wake up, and mid to late evening before bed. I perform both the weekly and monthly cleaning using citric acid (amazon has great deals on this) as recommended. The weekly clean consists of soaking the reservoir and trough for 15 minutes. I soak, set the kitchen timer and do something else. Takes me approximately 20 minutes. With respect to the monthly clean, it is a bit more involved but not complicated. I soak the trough and pieced for 15 minutes. Clean the ring and the reservoir – takes 30 to 35 minutes. Note, most of this time is NOT spent physically cleaning – it's more of a soaking process. I've set up both weekly and monthly reminders on my tablet to remind me to do this. Having never owned a humidifier before, I do not find the cleaning and maintenance to be cumbersome nor time consuming, but then again, I have nothing to compare to. I put the time in to protect my investment. This humidifier is not inexpensive; however, given the results that I have experienced, it is worth every cent. Further to this, when paying a premium to enjoy 99.9% bacteria free air being pumped into my condo, I do not mind spending 30 minutes a week doing my part to ensure it remains 99.9% bacteria free. I purchased this humidifier a month ago and have been struggling to justify the price tag for the product I received. Dyson is known for their intuitive design but this machine requires you to nearly take the entire device apart in order to fill the water tank which drips water all over the place when you take the canister out of the machine. Living in Canada during the winter requires a lot of humidification to keep my room comfortable and I find I am needing to refill the machine every 4-6 hours which wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't so difficult to do so. The device also lacks a lot of features that should be expected at this price point compared to other Dyson products. I have owned a Dyson fan that I have been running for 3 years non-stop that I absolutely love which I am able to check the current temperature and humidity of the room but for some reason my humidifier is not able to tell me what the current humidity is? The machine allows you to set your target humidity level but I need to use my other Dyson fan to actual check what the current humidity is in the room. The build quality is also that of a machine 1/10th of the price, composed of cheap plastic versus having a metal base like my fan and the remote is made of cheap looking plastic compared to my metal remote that came with my fan. The machine is quite and seems to do a decent job at humidifying the room which is why I have decided to keep it but it is hard to justify the steep price point when that extra Dyson quality you typically pay for is not there.Jacob

Great humidifier when it works, but after cleaning disinfecting, it often has issues turning on and functioning correctly. After 8 months, mine stopped working entirely. After contacting Taotronics Support, Sheya from the Customer Care team was very helpful and super responsive in getting me a replacement humidifier shipped out.Akhil

First, I love my TaoTronics humidifier. It puts out so much humidity and it has lots of controls to set it to what you want. It comes with a remote and that is great for when you don't want to get out of bed to mess with controls in the middle of the night. It also has night control which I love for when I want to be sleeping and not have light shinning off it. It is great for covid season when your throat hurts and you need more humidity in the air. I had to replace one of my units recently because it was leaking but Sheya with TaoTronic was amazing and sent me a new one right away after I explained the issue. They are an amazing company and back their products which I really appreciate because I love their stuff! I highly recommend this unit and love how easy it is to fill when you want to fill from the top. I am a bit older and cannot hold a huge unit and refill from bottom so the refill from the top was a HUGE sell. Amazing humidifier. I loved it so much I have since purchased four more for my other bedrooms. My father takes a medication that makes him bleed easily so during our super dry winter months it is bad if he gets dried nose/sinuses. This humidifier prevents him from drying out and bleeding. It has really been a life saver! Love the ease of filling- I tried a couple other humidifiers and dislike the ones I have to remove from the base to fill. It is also super easy to clean without many crevices to harbor nasty stuff. It is pleasing to look at and doesn't keep me awake with little glowing lights. Highly recommend!TP

The humidifier works ok, but the plastic smells terrible. When using it on the warm mist setting, it releases a horrible odor that gave me an awful headache and caused me to worry about plastic toxins. I would return this if I wasn't past the 30 day period by 2 weeks. Too bad I didn't start using it sooner. Now I'm not using it at all and trying to let the stink air out. Very disappointing.SLC2

I've had this humidifier for about five months now and it mostly seems to work well. It's placed in the kitchen/family room area which totals only about 400 sq ft, and while it's listed for up to 1,000 sq ft, it struggles to keep humidity above 40% (the limit for "dry" air) when we use A/C or heat, and the humidity often goes below this level even though the humidifier is at the highest setting. If humidifiers can't keep up with drying A/C or heat, this should be noted in their descriptions and their square footage coverage should be decreased.Robert

We use it in our hi-ceiling living room of about 500+ sf. It works well. The filter that came with the unit never worked. The red signal indicating 'refill' was on all the time. The replacement filter needed copious flushing until the unit worked. It seems a weak point.Hans

After searching for a new humidifier through Amazon, I ran into this product and really liked how this humidifier offered automatic shutoff after the water has diminished.
To me that was important because often times when babies are congested it’s harder for them to breath during the nighttime. So, using the oasis to provide my son a comfortable night I wouldn’t have to worry about turning it off since it automatically does it after no longer detecting water for it to mist. I have had many humidifiers over the years and the Aqua Oasis is by far the best one. My reasons is it is a filter less system and very easy to keep clean on top of working very well. I have had many different brand humidifiers in the past that were only good for a short time cause the manufacturer would discontinue the filters leaving the humidifier useless and forcing me to buy a new one year after year. Aqua oasis humidifier I use in my bedroom because the heat where I live is extreme because of the elders. So needless to say that it is very dry in my room and aqua oasis solved that problem! We really like this humidifier for many reasons. It fits our needs perfectly in our master bedroom because it is quiet and unobtrusive. The mist stream is adjustable so that we can vary between slightly wispy to full blast. We enjoy the lights that can be set on one color or slowly changing from one to the others. It is super easy to clean, a very important feature with humidifiers. The size is a real plus because it doesn't take up a whole lot of room and stays out of the way. When it runs out of water after a night of use, it automatically turns off, saving the motor and electricity. We had a few minor questions about using the filter, and the customer service representative (Scott) was outstanding, informative, professional, friendly but not too much, and made our experience wanting us to recommend this product and the company to our friends and family. I love this little thing. I bought this even though I am an adult because it had good reviews and was easy to clean. I am staying in a small beach cottage while house hunting so there isn’t much space for a big humidifier but it is SO DRY in here. My skin hurts and the static in unbelievable… I feel like there is a supernatural force at work! I filled this baby up and run it on MAX for hours and hours during the day and the tank lasted almost three days!! It’s brilliant. The price was so great too. I’m using it in a bigger space than recommended but it is really helping! The nightlight is super cute it’s only flashing weird because it’s a video, it’s solid in real life. Design: The humidifier is classy yet cute, has a unique shape with attractive color-changing options on demand, and is light weight for easy transport. Functionality: It works exactly as advertised, has variable controls that are helpful to allow more or less humidity on demand, and is quiet yet powerful. Ease of Use: It provides humidified air at the touch of a button, and refilling the water reservoir is very easy. I travel to Arizona several times a year and always take an acoustic with me. I was looking for a product that would work longer than a day or two and this one did the trick. Even in a dry climate this will last about seven days and then you just soak the Sponge in water for a couple of hours to rejuvenate it. My internal case humidity stays around 48-50% RH.Bryan

Living in Arizona is drying out my 6 and 12 string acoustics; these fit nicely between the middle strings and keeps the moisture content correct to avoid further drying out of the guitars.The pro model has a harder sponge, but let it soak for an hour and it will really hold water!biglion56

I installed this unit a few days ago in the air handler of my air conditioning system. I have baseboard heating. The air handler was the only option. I piped hot water from the nearby hot water heater to it. It's a night and day difference in the whole house humidity. The house is 3300 square feet. It's now consistently at 45% humidity throughout. It will run for 2 hours and take a break for 1 hour. It turns on every hour for 3 minutes to sample the humidity. There is one thing that didn't work as well. I wanted to control it using the Nest Thermostat's "*" line. It didn't work. Therefore, I am using the supplied humidistat to control the machine and it works very very well. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a more comfortable house in the winter. However, if you are hell bent on using your Nest to control it, you may run into difficulties.Mitch H

The Aprilaire 700M is working very good in our home. I was able to install is myself and I feel was a professional job. I wired the unit with a current sensing relay monitoring the neutral lead of the blower motor. The humidifier is only active when the blower motor is in operation. I thought this would complecated but it was straight forward. Great product and good instructions.Tom B.

We had an older model of the Aprilaire 700M installed many years ago. We replaced the fan and solenoid over the years – but over quite a few years (around 15 years). We also replaced the evaporative panel every few years, but that's normal maintenance. (The owner's manual says to replace it every year, but in our house, the humidifier only runs about 4 months a year.) The plastic case had gotten brittle, so when the solenoid wouldn't kick open this year, we decided to get another whole unit as we had been happy with the old one. The new one uses nearly the same frame and fits the same opening, so I had it the main unit installed in under an hour. The pictures don't show that the box also includes a saddle valve and 110V-to-24VAC transformer. You may not need the transformer, but in my case, the furnace's circuit board wasn't delivering 24VAC (though it must have at one time for the old unit to work), so I did end up using it. I also replaced the old saddle valve with the new one, since it was as old as the unit. The manual humidistat in the new 700M is smaller than the one in the old one, so that required covering over the old humidistat's opening in the air return and installing the new one near that. If I had any complaint about this unit, it would be that the humidistat knob is very small, and the full rotational travel of it is less than 180°. (That was true of the old one, too.) That makes it hard to get it dialed into the correct level humidity level. Once we get it set where we like it, we tend not to touch it. Our house is not very large (< 2000 sq ft), but it's also not particularly "tight" either. The Aprilaire 700M can keep the humidity in the high 40's – low 50's pretty effortlessly. It would do more, but we get a lot of condensation on the windows/doors if we go much above 45% RH, so we try to stay in the mid 40's. That's enough to keep me from getting shocked on every metal surface in the house.Capricorn1

This winter I have noticed that the air and my skin is so much drier than previous years. I was telling my Mom about it and she reminded me that we had electric heat which is much drier than gas heat. She then said that I needed to invest in a humidifier to put the moisture back into the air for us. I looked around for awhile and stumbled upon this Vicks Germ Free Humidifier with UV Technology. I never had one before because water sitting like that made me think it was a breeding ground for bacteria. I researched this UV technology and it really does work so thought I would give it a shot. We have been using this Vicks Humidifier for a week now and hear is what I have noticed. I haven't had a nose bleed in 5 days, I don't have dry elbows, and I don't have dry spots on my face anymore. I love how that there is not a constant mist getting the floor wet in my room and that it will last 24 hours so I can run it as we sleep at night without it running out of water. Another pro is that if you need something to help you breathe you can purchase Vicks pads to be placed inside and that also gets dispersed into the air making breathing better. I believe they also have one for calming just to help you sleep. There are a couple of cons, but in my opinion not enough to lower the rating. First… there is a filter and it does need to be replaced. I haven't replaced it yet, but have order 2 filter for about $17. Second… we have extremely hard water therefore I do not like to use our water in machines because of the white film that gets all over my stuff so I am buying distilled water. I get 2-3 nights out of a gallon at a cost of $1.39 /gallon. Third… there isn't an automatic shut off when out of water. I have had one in the past that had the auto cut off so I didn't have to worry about the motor burning up. To sum it up… if you are looking for a humidifier for a small to medium room… I love this one!!!jayzay83

My husband suffers from sinus issues and I have sleep apnea which causes snoring and dry throats. We keep it on the medium setting since our bedroom is a bit bigger. It’s very quiet so it doesn’t become a nuisance at night when sleeping especially for someone like me who is a light sleeper and needs total quietness when sleeping. There are VapoPads that you can also use that’s infused with Vick’s so you can get the full experience of breathing easier. Very easy to clean and fill up. I so recommend this humidifier!Trish75

I have 6 “cool mist” humidifiers. But they are small. I wanted a larger capacity one. This doesn’t meet my standards at all. It doesn’t put out mist! It just blows air like a small fan. Do not call yourself a cool most humidifier if you aren’t putting out mist. It doesn’t feel like it’s doing anything at all compared to the ones I already own that after you run them for hours you can literally see the mist in the room like smoke. But it’s not loud at all like some people say which is good. I’ll be returning this. I didn’t want a humidifier. I wanted a cool MIST humidifier.Useless

I uses these perfect little babies in the guitar case to protect the head stock from dry out. Just fill the sponge with water and drop it in the headstock area of the acoustic guitar case.This is one of the few perfect, simple,and trouble free designed humidifiers I have seen. I've used them for years. Sometimes simple…is far better. And these are simple to use, and they work. One of these may also be dropped in the storage bin of case to protect the neck from drying out and bowing. They also usually in the main body of the case, however I think the green snake hose humidifiers work better in that area of will fit in the case beside the body or neck of the acoustic guitar. But the headstock needs to be protected. I have several Gibsons which have Mother of Pearl inlays on the Head Stock and these inlays can crack, and the nitro surface of the head stock also can fracture around the inlays, if the head stock gets too dry in low humidity conditions. These small drop in humidifiers are a God send of protection! I actually think they are way too expensive for what they are, but they work…and they last for years. It's better to use one or two of these in your acoustic guitar case, than damage your fine guitar by letting it dry out when the humidity drops below 45 percent.Mr. Alan

I got this Vicks 3 in 1 sleepy time humidifier complimentary in exchange for my honest review. It has the humidifier, essential oils diffuser and nightlight all built into one machine. My kids love the nightlight part. The humidifier part is amazing, you can actually see the mist coming out and you can adjust it to minimal mist or maximum. It's super easy to use and I love that it doesn't require a filter. It's also super quiet, it doesn't sound like anything is on. Overall I'd say this is a pretty wonderful machine and I'm so thankful things like this exist when the cold hits our house.Dannie

I got this unit about a week ago and I’m literally blown away! This little machine is a workhorse. It’s a three in one unit it is a humidifier, diffuser and night – light. It is so simple to unbox and get started. It’s lightweight yet sturdy and durable. It has a 0.6 gallon tank with a wide mouth opening for easy filling and cleaning. It’s filter free and will last for 24 hrs on a single tank! It’s recommended for a small room, but, I have used it everywhere. It’s so quiet and soothing with the soft night light colors that lets you still able to see in the room to check on your kiddo or to just use for a diffuser for relaxing. My favorite part is using the pads that fit right inside the little door on the front. It’s very simple to figure out and use! I love essential oil’s and this is excellent for that as well! My kiddo had a cold a few days ago and this was so helpful with the Vicks pad inside as well as the large cool mist! The front is where the knob is located to adjust how high or low you want it to be!! This exceeded my expectations! The color changing nightlight is perfect. It’s dim but still colorful if that makes sense. I love being able to point the steam where I want it. It lasts all night and then some! And it still made my sons room humid like a warm mist humidifier. I wasn’t sure if it would, but it totally works amazing. Easy to fill, the knob feels nice and you can adjust it wherever you want. Not just “low medium high” you can customize the amount of mist you’d like. I love this thing. Ive had it a couple of weeks now. Extremely easy to set up; came with everything I needed. Instructions were good. I am not handy in making anything and so I appreciate somebody else thought this up.
