Reviews:
Well made strong metal stool. This will take the weight of a large performer. Backrest is a bonus. I had researched a lot of stools and found this one to be the best price and value. Impressive looking on stage and gives a pro look as against 'just a chair' to sit on. Bit akward to take apart but it's a trade of for quality. Height adjustable enables perfect positioning to be found.parkerflyman
I have a Grundorf chair of similar design that always makes my legs numb after sitting longer than 30 minutes. It has a small seat and not much padding. The OnStage adjustable throne is much more comfortable and very sturdy. There is more padding and it is a wider seat. I can use it without going numb. I have moved the Grundorf to my Church for playing in the worship group and I now use this chair for my personal performances and in home practice.KB
I was searching for a chair that would be more of a stand-up-y kind of chair on which I could practice. I play mandolin and both sit and stand while practicing and was tired of slumping in a regular chair. I found this chair on Musician's Friend, and it was well-reviewed and the price seemed right. Received it in good condition, put it together, I think correctly, but it feels a little wobbly. I've checked all the connections and can't find where one of the screws might be loose, so I sit on it with it kind of wobbly. I wish the connections were more solid. The chair also leans forward as other reviewers have noted. This is better than practicing in my old chair, but still not perfect. It's close, but not perfect. I would recommend it, but know that, for me at least, it's not a perfect solution. This chair arrived in fine condition and on time.Kendall

3. Gator Guitar Seat And Stand Combo

Reviews:
I had to make major modifications to make this fit me. I'm 5' 8" 140 lbs. Owned mine for 2 years, but had to cut the legs 2 1/2" shorter, move the seat rest down and backwards a few inches, widen the footrest and remove the guitar rest. It's now fine for a 3 hour gig, but was HORRIBLE before!!! Strength and quality of materials, construction and padding are very good, but ergonomics are by some strangely built weirdo, unfortunately!! They need to redesign it to fit an average human!!!!! If they made it fit right, it's worth the cost. If you can't modify it as I have, buy something elseTim
I have been performing an acoustic set for sometime now and I have to lug a stand, stool, the guitar and I take a tablet for a cheat sheet and requests. This cuts most of my lugging in half and the seat is comfortable. I love the fact I can just bring 3 things to my gigs and have the peace of mind that I don't loose track of a stand or the stool. I mean seriously I would never forget my guitar but a guitar stand is easily misplaced or someone confiscates your stool and then the bar now has an extra stool and you left without your stool. These things may sound silly but when being a performing musician and not having people working for you keeping track of your stuff it's easy to have stuff go missing. This item molds two things into one and makes the gig easier and it's comfortable! So all around just a great product.dyerknight
Must have been designed for ppl at least 7 feet tall. Most of you will be cutting 2 or 3 inches off the legs. Most ppls feet do won't reach the floor and the foot rest are not appropriate height. That alone makes it very uncomfortable and renders it almost non usable. The back rest may be risky as it did snap off for at least one person and I found it to feel very unlikely of holding any of my weight. Also the back rest was not lined up when assembled at the factory and is off skew. Looks dumb. Could it be fixed without damaging? Maybe. The guitar rest do not hold an electric guitar on mine without it setting sideways and risking a fall. Can I bend them around to work? Maybe. I don't currently have an acoustic on hand to test. "I barely have a butt but still find this hard to get situated on. Very small seat. Hard and not comfortable. I never believed there could be so many issues with a simple chair. I may cut the legs and basically rebuild the rest of it and keep it, but I have to say it is nowhere near worth the price. If I don't take it back, I will likely use it after repair for a while and then buy a nice office chair later and give this thing away.Chuck

I don't know if they have a shorter version of this. Not as short as a regular chair, but something in berween. Regular chairs are not great when you use pedals and this one is a little uncomfortable for the back. I cut like 3 1/2" and I think is perfect like that. Really great, sturdy and probably durable stool.El carrancho

Solid chair with easy adjusting to fit anyone's height, but it is a heavy chair if you plan to take it to gigs.Steve Apollo
This seat is a comfortable platform from which to play an instrument. It has enough adjustability to fit most players and preferred styles of sitting. The included optional guitar hanger is very useful in limited space situations like mine. Adjusting the seat height so the left foot rests comfortably on the ground while the right rests rests on the foot rest leaving the right leg at the proper angle to support the guitar is easy. Meanwhile, adjusting the back support for proper back support is also a snap.Thomas T.

Reviews:
Pros: – Strong materials – Fairly comfortable – Great range of height options – Variety of positions for back rest – Includes foot rest with location adjustment – Rubber pads that keep it from moving on hard flooring – Heavy in a sturdy way without being too heavy to move around a room – Knobs/screws hold the sections firmly in place without concern of unexpected movement Cons: – Doesn't fold as flat as one would expect for portability – Not easy to open from "folded" position. Requires two hands. – More difficult to adjust and transport than someone would want if they travel with the chair regularly Opinion: The cons I listed don't really affect my family since we intend to set this up and not move it more than a few feet every now and then. If it's going to stay mostly stationary I think it's a great option. If someone is going to take their musician chair from place to place regularly, this may not be the best option, but it's not a bad one either. I noticed other reviewers mentioned issues with tears in the cushions during transport. I have no idea how common or uncommon that is, but our chair arrived with no tears, holds, indents, discoloration, or any other physical issues.Heather
Great seat. The way it's adjustable makes it great to use and easy to switch for another person if needed. Feels very strong and secure. It costs more than some but well worth the price for the craftsmanship sturdiness. I play guitar and it is the best seat I've every used for playing. Excellent product.parascoot
This product is not for someone that plays guitar. It would be good for someone playing the cello. If the foot platform would extend forward a foot it would be great for a guitar player. So the chair with an added footstool works well for a guitar player. The cushions are comfortable, but smell like mothballs bad. Super strong mothball smell. After cleaning them 3 times and airing it out in the garage for 2 weeks the smell got better. It still smells like an old man at the nursing home.BRENT R

Reviews:
Great chair, comfy roomy seat, easy fold. Only issue I have is that I continually have to tighten the back rest.
I ordered this to use at my work bench when I’m working on guitars and certainly when I don’t feel like standing when I play. I was excited when it came, however that soon turned to dismay. The bolts that hold the back rest we’re bent, and I wasn’t able to turn the one knob on the side which tightened to adjust the height of the back support. I had to drill outtake bent bolts, and drill a knew hole to insert a new bolt. Once this was done the back support was fixed. I almost returned the unit for a replacement, as this chair just seemed used. However not wanting to deal with the whole return process, which really isn’t terrible, I repaired the chair and now it’s fine. I’m sure if the chair had actually been new, this would not have been an issue. AMERICAN MUSICAL is still my “go to” source of musical needs…..!

Reviews:
My son loves it and it is quite comfortable. The tilt lock failed out of the box but the company is sending me the replacement part. They said the tilt lock doesn't usually fail right out of the box(later I guess?). Depends on how much you use it. Good five year warranty though. The factory is in China. I don't like straps everywhere but the chair is pretty cool looking. The cushion is softer than the razer enki I was looking at but unless you have it tilted slightly it feels like you will slide forward. I find the cushions are a little on the small side. The sides of the seat are probably too narrow for larger people. The tilt mechanism is supposed to be the cheapest made part of all gaming chairs. High end gaming chairs are similar in construction and are well made but would be considered middle of the line office chairs. Overall the chair has a cool look, is comfortable and the back and seat feel solid. Metal construction, unlike the razer iskur which is plywood. BTW the wheels are ok but not great.Tony
Where to begin ? I’m completely bowled over by this chair, which was delivered in under 48 hours ! The first thing that strikes you on opening the box is the care that’s been taken to wrap and pack each component to avoid damage in transit, and very effectively ! Next thing of note is the quality of manufacture, which seems top notch, and the various parts fit together perfectly, with none of the misaligned screw holes, missing bits or other shortcomings one so often reads about in reviews. The (picture only) instructions are easy enough to follow, even if not quite every step is explicitly spelt out, and I encountered no problems in the half hour or so it took me to assemble the chair, without assistance. As a customer usually not easy to please, after investing many hours in researching these chairs online, (and finding many out of stock), I have to say I feel well gratified by my choice, and this chair is every bit as pleasing on the eye as it is comfortable to sit in ! For me, (168 cm tall and 76 kilo weight) there’s ample adjustment in the angles and height of the back and armrests. The seat and back I’d describe as on the firm side but still supremely comfortable. The adjustable / detachable lumper support I also find comfortable to use, – the neck / head pillow rather less so, but it will be a case of what best suits individual users. The artificial leather has a classy matt rather than shiny appearance, doesn’t feel especially cold to the touch, and comes with attractive contrasting stitching, Important to note that AK Racing offer a range of chairs designed for users of different height and weight, hence a need to check this out on their website before ordering. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend !
I've had this chair for almost a whole year, and I can honestly say it is a great chair for the price I paid. The materials are sturdy and nothing has loosened or broken off over the last 8 months. I spend about 4-8 hours a week in this chair and it's still as comfortable and supportive as when I first assembled it. The accompanying lumbar and head pillows are also a great addition in case you feel like reclining or even taking a nap (which I unashamedly have done before). Assembly is incredibly easy and should not take more than 20-25 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. The only real gripe I have with this chair are the arms. For $400 I would've expected arms that have multilevel height adjustment functionality – instead they just slide either all the way down, or all the way up with no middle setting in between the two. I also would've expected the arms to have a slide-in/out mechanism so I can have them closer or farther from my body, but it looks like the only way I can achieve this is by flipping the chair over and redoing the nuts and bolts that hold them in place since there seems to be a hole allowing for closer positioning. Overall, if you're looking for a "budget" gaming chair that's comfortable, reliable, and sleek looking, this chair should definitely be considered, especially if it's ever on sale.Recommended

This is my first ever gaming chair, replacing the old ikea hammock style chair that I’d been sitting in for nearly a decade while I game. Note right away that there’s some heavy lifting involved, whether getting the box to your car, your car to the house, or put together. I’m a fitness freak and was breaking out a little bit of a sweat by the end so keep in mind that if you’re tiny, you may need help. Out of the box, there’s no special packaging or bells and whistles here. The chair comes deconstructed so you’ll put everything together yourself. There’s no extra tools required, everything you need comes in the box and it probably takes in the range of 30 minutes to assemble. It’s hard to right a review for a chair as you can all probably exactly imagine what it is like. The material used is really comfy and you can tell that it is built to last. Pretty much everything is adjustable on the chair, as would be with any office style chair. You can change the height, how far it reclines, the direction the arm rests face, and where the support pillow sit. The only thing you can’t change, which is a bit annoying, is how far in or out the arm rests sit. If you’re extra wide or extra narrow, it may bug you but most people should do just fine. The highlights of the chair for me have been the support pillows on the neck and lower back. They’re adjustable in height, which is nice and it makes you feel like your body isn’t falling apart while you sit down for an eight hour Halo session. The pillowing at the bottom of the chair that you sit on is a tad firmer than I’d like, but I’m sure that was done on purpose to keep everyone ergonomically safe while gaming. Overall, this is a great chair that I’m glad I have. I use it near daily for long time periods and would easily recommend it to friends.underdog217
Definitely a comfy chair! Here's my thoughts: – The cloth and stitching is top notch! It has a great look. – Pillows are nice and adjust for your liking. – The foam density is firm but not too hard like some of the other Arozzi chairs (I tried out a few in person before I purchased. See their website for detailed specs). – The arm rests are nice too and have 4D movement. – The base is lightweight metal and the chair rocks with a locking tilt feature. – The recline works great but if you don't pull the lever all the way up before you try and recline, it makes a loud pop. It doesn't seem to hurt it, but I make sure to pull it all the way – The casters look cool but are plastic. I'm sure they would have been fine but I purchased a set of Lifelong casters and they've been working out great – Assembly took about 20 minutes but I'm very handy. Those who don't build things often may want a friend to help. There are debates about whether or not gaming chairs are 'worth it' and some would recommend you buy a nice office chair. My take? Do your research before buying. I look at dozens of chairs before deciding that this one was right for me.westegg
This is a decent chair, but maybe not for the price tag of $200. Since the inflation that covid has brought i would like to see this product at $150. I have another chair form this company that i bought 2.5 years ago and the build quality does seem better on the older product. The casters on this chair are just not good and i had to replace them with new ones from amazon. So if you like nice wheels, this is 100% not the chair for you. The chair is also very stiff. That doesnt bother me at all, but it might bother some. If you dont like a VERT stiff and hard chair, then this is also not the product for yoj.2Pog

Looks cool, went together easy but the legs are not even close to even. It teeters like crazy! I've tried to shim it but I'm just chasing my tail. I bought it with rewards so I have like 10 bucks into it and it's not worth the time to return it. I'll likely saw the legs even myself and then it will be a perfect stool.Ken M
Basic chromed-steel tubing stool with a padded, rotating seat. Nice looking red & black Fender logo on the seat. Has a ring around legs about 10 up from floor that makes a nice foot rest when playing guitar. Does take some assembly but all required hardware & good instructions are supplied. They even provide simple tools used for assembly. Tip – hang on to the tools. It will need to be retightened a couple of times after initial assembly.leftyfader

We had to order on-line as we could not locate any stores that had it on display. I was a little concerned as the box was punctured by one of the legs, but on careful examination no damage was done. The assembly was pretty easy (although be sure to put on the seat bracket before attaching the arm, as per instructions). I was concerned about the back mesh not being supported, but they used a bunch of staples to hold it firm to the back. That makes the chair very comfortable with adequate lumbar support. It feels very secure with no wobble when sitting. The position of the chair is perfect for my art table. I'm very pleased with the purchase – "good bang for the bucks"!JOHN
I purchased this to be compatible with my new hideaway desk bed which is higher than an average desk. The first chair I purchased was too low. This chair is more than adequate in that regard. It was easy to assemble although the directions could be more clear. It is sturdy and well built and makes less creaking noises than my previous chair. The foldaway arms are a definite plus. It could benefit from an adjustable lumbar support. However, the built in lumbar support is very good. The foot rest is sturdy enough but I would like to see it redesigned to accommodate stocking feet. As is, if you rest your feet on it for long periods of time, you need to wear shoes or your feet will begin to hurt. All in all, I am quite pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend it.CLYDE

Pros: Firstly I would like to aware people the description on many websites is WRONG for this chair, it is also wrong on manufacturer's website too (this is a fact and people need to know this). This chair has a fixed back and seat angle (meaning once its screwed together the "angle" cannot be changed) therefore it does NOT have an adjustable "seat angle" as some websites say. Also the arm rests are FIXED, they are NOT adjustable height. That said this is a very supportive chair and feels good quality. This has:Adjustable seat height (gas operated via the under-seat lever)Rocker function (operated by pulling out the under-seat lever) or it can be locked by pushing it in. This allows the whole chair to rock (the "Angle" of the back and seat is still fixed) and it is a nice smooth action. The arms are fixed (screwed to the frame and NOT height adjustable) and are made of nice quality material. This chair is SHORT IN THE SEAT!! I am 6 foot tell and this chair is quite short for me (with my back right up to the backrest I have an approx 3 inch gab between the edge of the chair and the back of my knee). However for me this is fine because I bought it to use as an office chair and I tend to perch on it the edge so for me its perfect.Excellent back support (for me anyway), especially on the lumber area, but some may find the back lumbar in the wrong place depending on your height.Excellent quality feel of the chairSeems very well builtLove the feel of the "material" parts of this are made from, like a grippy rubbery feeling.Has a premium feel and seems good and strong.Great value for money.Good sturdy base and castors, plus moves easily (on a thin carpet in my case). Cons: Description not accurate (see positive notes for details)Quite short in seat (could be good or bad depending on your height and preference)Good back support but some may find it uncomfortableMy chair was damaged on delivery (split fabric on headrest), but not a problem as its only being used as an office chair (not reported to supplier). All in all a good chair but remember its SHORT IN THE SEAT!!Francis
Pros: It's great that it has good neck and lumbar support, which can both be adjusted. Comfortable and sturdy chair for my son. Cons: It's rather expensive for a chair really. You can get a good office chair for around 50 quid and that would have probably been just as good. The plastic side parts that you screw on arent very sturdy and dont actually fit properly either, for such an expensive chair. The instructions werent overly clear either for the putting together of the chair, was a bit fiddly, I can imagine if you had big fingers it would have been alot harder to build!Samantha
Pros: Comfortable and reclines back a long way!Alison
16. Proline 24 In. Faux Leather Guitar Stool

Product Details:
Specifications:
Finish | Black/Chrome |
Year | 2010s |
Reviews:
I've been wanting a dedicated guitar stool for a long while. This particular model is often found in the Guitar Center in my area and I've always liked they way it feels to sit on them. The reviews were daunting as many seem to have great difficulty assembling them. (I had more trouble opening the package that contains the hardware then the actual assemble of the stool itself.) The secret is to alternatively tighten each screw with the others. There is absolutely no need to physically bend the legs. After you have the legs secured to the swivel part of the seat, slide the "O" ring over the top. Slide the screws through the ring and legs to keep it in place. Place the washer and locking nuts and hand tightened slightly. Starting with one set of legs, use the included wrenches to tighten the screws. Get a few turns on one side, then turn it around and do the same. Use the threads of the screws as a guide and make sure no one side is tightened more than the other. The legs will bend on their own. Once you're finished with one set, move on to the other and repeat. If done correctly, you will have made almost zero physical (or mental) effort and shouldn't have issues of the stool being "wobbly". I posted a video on YouTube (post assembly).Mr. Fuzzleupagus
This chair is better than other brands because the foot rim is LOWER by one inch. This makes all the difference in the world for a guitarist. Also, the leather padded cover makes it easier to play on longer gigs. It's also smaller in circumference and that makes it easier to load in the car! TIP WILL IMPROVE STABILITY: Add slider pads to the legs. They stick on and easy to install. You can find them in hardware stores. See photo.Steve
Honestly, this chair should be half the cost. However, it's the only one I've tried that is comfortable. It's better than the ones with printed logos on them because those don't have enough padding and their shinny surfaces could get annoying on your skin or slippery for your pants. People sometimes complain about the chair being uneven and rocking after assembled…. They probably didn't read the instructions. Min rocks about a mm, but when you sit on it, it's gone and even that will probably disappear in no time. The trick is to not tighten all the screws until the end, so you can adjust the parts as a whole. It basically says that right in the instructions.christiannoir

Product Details:
Rocking the professional features that have made spector basses coveted by top bassists worldwide for over four decades, the spector ns pulse 5 gives you a sleekly sculpted body carved from solid swamp ash for a bright, deep, punchy, and authoritative tone. topping the body is exquisite quilt maple, adding more than a dash of visual elegance while giving your sound a touch of brightness. spec’d with premium emg 40dc pickups as well as the acclaimed spector tonepump jr. active preamp system, the ns pulse 5 is a high-performance instrument that delivers the tone, playability, versatility, and sophisticated visuals today’s bass players demand. the ns pulse 5 holds down the low end in style, largely thanks to a pair of emg 40dc humbuckers. these ultra-powerful pickups are praised for their noise-free performance, low-end output, and wide-open tone, making them ideal for heavier genres while fully capable of handling softer styles when dialed back. mix these with the onboard active preamp, and emg 40dc humbuckers provide a massive array of tone-shaping options, from full and round to treble-enhanced “zing” and beyond. the ns pulse 5 includes spector’s tonepump jr active preamp. this preamp employs jfet-based circuitry rather than op-amps, which yields many tube-like characteristics. when you overdrive an op-amp (something that happens at the peak of nearly every note you play), it clips and needs a moment to recover. this results in a perceptible tone loss. like tubes, the tonepump’s jfet-based circuitry doesn’t do this. rather, it softly distorts, producing a second harmonic that fuses seamlessly into your note. beyond that, the signal right after the peak comes through loud and clear — no recovery time required. drawing upon decades of industry-leading design, spector’s euro series basses are handcrafted using the finest tonewoods and components. a production version of the renowned spector ns bass, the ns pulse 5 boasts high-end features such as powerful emg pickups and premium active electronics. decked out in stellar finishes across the entire line, the ns pulse 5 continues the tradition of quality and innovation started by stuart spector in 1976. features: sleekly sculpted, comfortable swamp ash body lays a rock-solid tonal foundation stunning quilt maple top adds visual elegance and sonic brightness roasted maple neck capped with macassar ebony feels supremely comfortable in the hands emg 40dc active humbuckers bring the thunder without unwanted noise spector tonepump jr. active preamp spector locking bridge and graphite nut; sealed die-cast tuning machines keep everything sounding pitch-perfect

I saw these in a bass vid of 2021 basses. I bought the gray one. the body is cool. The wood grains are exposed so it feels like an aged piece of wood without the splinters. it has the Emg Pups. they sound amazing. The neck is roasted maple. the fretboard plays smooth, quick. the tuners have the spector logo on them another classy touch.this thing is a tone beast. i lowered the action to my personal taste. it comes ready to plug in and blastProfessor EADG
The looks, feel and tone of this bass is amazing, I love EMG pick ups, independent volume control per pick up and nice and simple bass and treble control, I love rock and metal and play a PRS Tremonti guitar, but I play this bass in church and it’s made a difference to the sound of the band, sounds full and thunderous when needed, depending on how you playReviewed by Andertons Music Co.

All solid body, bone saddle and nut, rosewood bridge, and very nice gig bag. Love the sound that comes from this one, and the antique burst looks amazing. Surprisingly light, in a good way. Best bang for your buck at this price range hands down. Stock setup was also nice and fast.Jeff
Bought this to play in the bedroom for practice tonight. Wanted something with a gloss finish and a little fancier than most entry to mid level guitars. Got the guitar and it looked and sounded great! The action from the factory was pretty high and there was plenty of saddle to adjust it down to were I wanted it. The fret ends could us a little dressing as they're not the smoothest, but I'll get to that eventually. Very happy with this purchase and it will probably be with me for awhile!Jonathan
It's hard to describe the feeling I got when I unpacked this guitar (after waiting the recommended 24 hours) and strummed the first chord and it was in tune! This guitar is amazing and an incredible value. You'll be hard pressed to find an instrument with the same specs for under. The fit and finish is flawless and the sound it makes goes head to head with my Guild F-250 deluxe tone cannon! The solid mahogany is tight and pleasant sounding for finger picking and you can strum it as hard as you want and she won't crack! This was my first time buying from Sweetwater and it was a smooth transaction and lighting fast shipping. Much much better experience from another huge online store. So if your undecided about buying this guitar I say go for it. You won't be disappointed

I got this when it was on sale for $150 and for that price I recommend it. It's pretty comfortable. I only have one complaint and it's that one screw just wouldn't fit where it was supposed to go. The chair won't fall apart just because of that one missing screw, so I just skipped it. It took maybe a little over 35 minutes to assemble. And I'm sure there are even more comfortable chairs at higher prices, but I was sticking to a budget and I'm happy with what I got.AntiSocial
