Reviews:
The Fender Jumbo Acoustic Case is pretty amazing considering it was $69! Lid and latch alignment are spot on. Interior is plush, clean and padded in the right spots. Outside there is slight tolex separation at side seam and slight glue exposure along bottom edge seam but, overall very clean tight workmanship. It fits my Yamaha jumbo very well. Plenty durable for my purposes – going from the house to the car.yawnotec
Purchased Fender's T-bucket Bass a few months ago, but the store didn't have the case. They had to order and the price with shipping was outrageous for me to buy. last week saw the cost of the case with free shipping and to me,from MusiciansFriend. Purchased and a deal that made sense. I have quite a few guitars and they all have cases, Hard Shell. This hard shell case is the perfect fit for my T-Bucket Bass. I can't see owning a guitar without a case.(I don"t even play out anymore), but they are protected. Thank You MusciansFriend.Bassbull
I bought this case mainly as a way to keep my acoustic humidified over the winter. So far it's doing a great job at that. My only issue is that the flap to the storage compartment was cut very crooked leaving a pretty sizable gap on one side. Large enough for a Kyser capo to fit through. For a brand like Fender and for this price, I would expect a little better quality control, so I'm taking one star off. It's not enough of a flaw to send back, but it's definitely enough to be disappointing and irritating. Otherwise great case. I would still recommend it.

Reviews:
Like most, I looked at the cheaper alternatives when seeking to replace the flimsy gig bag for my new (2016) USA SG Standard. While there are cheaper options, they do not provide the neck support necessary for the SG – this case offers the correct support for the angle of the set neck in the form of a "ramp" where it meets the body. Many of the generic "one size fits all" cases do not. This case also cradles the instrument properly, and is not "too tight" and/or "too loose" along the curves of the body. Now, I'm no fan of overpriced Gibson-branded accessories, and would have opted for aftermarket if the fit was the same but sadly this is the only way I found to properly protect my SG. This is a quality TKL Canadian-made case with "Gibson Gear" silkscreened on it, and the cost, for me, justifies the peace of mind. Was well packed (double boxed) and shipped quickly – great job by MF.Bob
This is a sturdy case! Much nicer than what Gibson has used in the last several years. As I understand it this case is made in Costa Rica. Its much heavier and stout compared to the Canadian or Chinese cases. I bought it to fit my real 57' Single Cut Junior but it also fits my 59'Double Cut perfectly! Like a glove! I will buy another…….JTSOB
I bought this case for my 2016 50s Tribute LP. I know the gig bag could do a good job for protecting my guitar, but nothing beats a hard shell case. This case is pretty awesome for what it is. Looks like it was made from tough plywood, and the covering looks pretty tough as well. This case doesn't have a locking hinge. You have to buy a padlock for it. The interior has a plush gray lining that provides soft cushioning for your LP, and its safe on the finish as well. My LP fits snug inside the case, it does not shake around, which gives me peace of mind that it won't be shaking around when I'm carrying it about. Visual aesthetics are simple but elegant. The Gibson Gear logo blazing across the front looks cool, although I personally wish it could've been the Gibson USA logo. The leather tab for the accessory compartment has the Gibson logo embossed on it, nothing too special. It's a good case for a decent price. I wouldn't mind recommending it.AcousticMetroTech
3. Esp Cvff V Series Case

Product Details:
Don't leave it up to chance, get an esp ltd v-alexi guitar case and keep your guitar safe. gig bags work fine, but only a hard-shell case can really protect your guitar from dings and bumps. the plush lining cradles your axe while a wood shell covered with tolex guards against damage. the molded handle is comfortable to use and sturdy latches keep the case shut tight. make sure the only wear and tear on your guitar comes from playing it with the esp ltd v-alexi guitar case.
Specifications:
Weight | 12 lb |
Reviews:
Case looks great. Inside looks great. Go to put the guitar (LTD EC-T1000) in and it doesn't fit. I cannot place my guitar in the case. The only way is to angle my and slide the guitar into place. Once in and close the lid. You then need to apply pressure to get the lid to close on the guitar body corner side of the case. After reopening you can see how much the guitar was pushed into the lid fur lining. I have read the other review that says in time the memory foam in the case adjusts and it fits better with time, but at first it is extremely tight. I have had the case for about 2 weeks now.Lieutenant Beeferson
I'm guessing this case has come a long way in the last couple of years. Judging from past reviews, quality control at ESP must've taken note. Well-made, solid construction, about as nice as any Fender case. Ample-sized accessory compartment & snug body cradle. Fits my new LTD EC401FMV like a glove. Still a little pricey for not being a molded ABS-style case, and sort of large for the EC series. Case definitely has some weight to it. Would be nice if some of the higher-end LTDs came with deluxe gig bags…N.M. JoJo
I've had a good number of hardcases in my day, but this one is actually somewhat disappointing. I have been an avid ESP guy for years, but this case does not live up to their name by any means. The latches on it are rather loose, and the inner ones are prone to popping open on their own (The outer ones are fine.) Also, the external material is not all to durable. I have a F-155DX and a F-415FM, both fit perfectly, even with with the strap-locks installed. There's plenty of storage space, and he material on the inside of the case is ver nice, and seems to protect the guitar rather well. For F series users, there aren't very many choices for form-fitting cases, which is actually rather disappointing given that this one I feel is only worth the money for that very reason. It sure isn't because of quality construction, that's for sure. As negative as it may sound, none of that is to say I wouldn't recommend it, as I am actually thinking about ordering a second one myself. Just a matter of knowing that this isn't a particularly high-quality case.Steve

Well the sales person Isiah is A great guy he was very helpful. However Jackson don't know enough about their Products. My guitar does not fit in the case. I wish it did because it's A great quality. I hope Jackson finds me the proper case for my Randy Rhodes flying VMarty Gibson PRS Man
This case is a tank. High quality build, and pleasing to the eyes. I bought it because is clearly says it's for Jackson RR and King V guitars. What they dont tell you. Is that the RRX24MG7, which has a 26.5 inch scale and is too long. I bought the case anticipating my guitar's arrival, been starting at it for 2 weeks. Guitar came today, DOESNT FIT!Griz
I needed a case for my Jackson King V Pro guitar. I wasn't sure what to get. I am used to slim line cases and wasn't sure about this one. But I felt that to get a perfect fit, I had better go with the Jackson case. When it arrived, I was overwhelmed by the girth and general bulk of it. I almost returned it as I have limited space. However I don't like to rehash all the work and thought it takes with product searches so I went ahead and put my axe in there. I'm used to tilting my hard cases vertically against the wall and letting the guitar fall into the case, and opening it and pulling them out vertically. Its easier than lying it flat etc. However with this case, there is very little depth. So much so, that the V will fall out of the case if you have it open vertically. The safe way is to lay the case on a table or on the floor to make sure this doesn't happen. For a guitar that cost 900, I was expecting more depth in the case. A 1.5 inch depth adjustment would be enough but… However once shut, the case does have some positives vs other slimmer hard cases. For one, there is a lot of padding on both sides of the case giving you excellent protection. Second, the case stands on its legs vertically without tipping over giving you excellent balance for vertical storage which I do often. (just gotta remember to lay it flat to open and take out the guitar). It also has leg supports to lay on its narrow side, as well as flat. And it looks elegant. Very Road Tough Case for the King V. If you can get past the bulk of it and the fact that you have to lay it flat to get your guitar out. Then Get it because its Built like a Brick House!Chris

Reviews:
What makes this case a bad design are the slot sections inside. The foam buckles, folds and breaks pretty quickly. This causes a situation where when you are removing or loading your guitar, facing left, in the left slot it rubs up against the strings and saddles of the guitar in the left slot section. I bought a 2010 Les Paul Goldtop and it was in mint condition. It is not anymore. All the damage has been caused by the case and not rocking out. There are a number of scratches, dings and chips at the bottom of the guitar and in the back that were caused from the guitar slipping off of the foam that separates the two guitars while trying to slip the guitar in and out into place. The thin foam padding that they have at the bottom of the lip has fallen off and that has caused some dings and scratches on my guitars when taking them out and loading them in. I do like the case for the ease of mobilizing the guitars but the design of the slots and UX of the case has fallen short. I was hoping that in our times that these things would have been addressed during the research phase of design but based on what I’ve experience with this product I doubt that much research and testing was invested in the actual load and unloading of guitars of even the UX of the product. On their website they use language like “ Whether you call them your "Babies" or your "Axes", we know how important your guitars are to you…”. I first thought about baby strollers and how padded and safe they are. I thought about how the designers of strollers think about how to remove danger or harm to the infant in the stroller.Elijah Zane Echeveste
This case is okay not great. I don't fly I just bought it to throw in my car and go to gigs. The quality of the build is well below SKB into the Gator end of the spectrum, okay not great. It will not fit a Jazz style bass which I thought was unusual given the popularity of that style instrument. I bought mine on sale and was disappointed. If I had paid full price I would have been angry.
Again okay not great.William Grubb

Overall: I bought this for my Pro Series Soloist SL2Q MAH. It fits perfectly, snug so no worries of it bouncing around in there. It doesn't have a cover to the accessory pockets, however like I said the case is snug so when closed nothing falls out not even my loose picks. The latches on this case are probably my favorite feature as well as the TSA locks. Found out yesterday when I checked it for my flight was that TSA has a master key to this type of case, so you don't have to dig your keys out to open it for them, however on the flip side, not sure if I like that they have a key to open the case. However it arrived in great shape, nothing missing, they locked it back up which i was happy with. Seems to be very well built and didn't have any damage or scratches when I got it after my flight.Ryan
le I don't have a lot of experience with other brands' cases, this Jackson case is perfect for what I was looking for – something that will protect my guitar from its environment. I bought my first Jackson from Musicians Friend almost exactly 20 years ago, so my needs have changed a bit from when I was in high school and lugging my guitar around in the back of cars. It's now more about keeping the guitar safe when stowed away: protected from my wife just tossing it wherever she thinks it should be stored, protected from it then falling because it was hastily placed against something, protected from stuff falling on it because of other items placed hastily above or near it, and protected from my 2 and 5 year old who are all too interested in playing with the noise maker inside (which of course I'm more than happy to let them experiment when I'm supervising, but that's not as fun as sneaking it out when dad isn't home). This case protects from all of that, while also being more compact than the Jackson hard shell cases from the 90's. That's not even taking into account the much improved hardware, handle, and TSA lock (many of the older cases have locks, hinges, etc busted off). This case is also tighter on the tremolo, and it has two storage compartments as opposed to one.. Functional attributes aside, it's more aesthetic, IMO. Take a look at the attached pictures to see if it may be worth an upgrade! While I bought this new one for my Soloist, I might just get one for the Rhoads.WhereismyAquaNet

It's better than blowing the cash on cigs and unappreciative girlfriends. Keep your V looking and working like it should. Genuine Epi all the way.Rob
Overall: I was hard pressed to find a case to fit my Epiphone ‘58 Korina V, and the genuine Epi case were sold out EVERYWHERE. I was tempted to settle for a lesser grade hardshell, just so my V would have a safe place to rest. But zZounds FINALLY restocked, and I snagged me a genuine Epiphone V case! I’m glad I waited. This is a VERY NICE case. The plush lining is a nice silvery gray, and the outer surface is a rich leather-like vinyl with bold off white stitching. I gotta tell ya, pics don’t do this case justice. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. Buy the dang case already!

Outstandingly well made case. Very sturdy. You will not have to worry about your guitar when it's in this case. Lined with fur material; heavy duty latches, and chrome "feet" tips that keep the case off the floor when you sit it down. Made with plywood, so it is heavy and very durable. It was a little expensive, but I know my guitar is well protected. I already had a Takamine case for my other guitar, and this ChromaCast case is made as well, or even better than the Takamine.Doris
Looks good but cheaply made and flimsy. Top of case will not stay opened unless you use some force to slightly stretch the strap but you have to be careful not to over stress it or it may detach on one end. Plus the latches on the top section of the case didn't seem seem a bit misaligned the first time and afterwards when closing the case. Spend the extra money and get a better made case.GBPKRMAN

13. Musician's Gear Rack Flight Case 4 Spaces Black

Product Details:
This item was returned in great condition. it looks and plays like new, with only minor signs of use (slight scuffs, etc.). solidly built fiberboard case features heavy-duty latches, recessed handle, welded rack frame, mounting hardware, sturdy corners, and exceptionally affordable pricing.
Reviews:
Black and chrome is a classic look, It certianly makes you look like a pro Very nice features for the money. There are hundreds of much better cases out there in the world, but this one costs much less. This case is one of the most affordable hard-sided cases on the market. The latches and handles are very nice for the money, There are only rails in the front, the whole thing is very lightweight. This thing is light, very light, the latches, while nice on a case at this price, feel flimsy and I suspect will break in time. the lids fit snugly, but the handle feels like it will probably pull right out of the side of the case, you can feel the side of the case bend as you lift it. I don't have amps or anything very heavy in there. I have a 3 space line mixer, a DBX comp limiter, a 1 space ventilated rack spacer and a Furman PL-Plus power supply, Not heavy items and they seem to overload the case. Honestly this is a great rack case for gear that needs a home but rarely goes anywhere. This is the cheapest hard sided case anywhere. Especially with recessed latches and handles.Drums4all
These cases are an unbeatable value for the money. They're probably a little light duty if you're going to tour the world, but they're plenty rugged for local gigging. I got the most recent one to house two NX3000Ds (which weigh less than 8 pounds each) to drive my subs, and it's perfect. Workmanship, fit, and finish are all very good. The great price, coupled with 24% in Backstage Pass points makes buying this a complete no-brainer. Great job, Musicians Friend!57LesPaulCustom
I have purchased Musician's Friend cased before, but these are much more light weight construction. Like other reviewers, I agree that the materials are very thin and lightweight – but for personal use (not shipping via airfreight, road crews, etc), these are perfectly fine for protecting your effects, small amps, processors, etc. – way better than having NO case ! The handles are decent, the latches work fine, the cover mate nicely. But the extrusions are weak and actually bent a little from handling during construction. I purchase a couple of sizes (2 space & 4 space) for rental use. These will be adequate to protect my power mixer and accessories from normal handling. All in all, a good case for the money, but not a good case for heavy duty road use or heavy amps.Encore Entertainment

Best gig bag/case for the air-traveling musician, A++++Rah Sungee
If you're flying somewhere with two basses, this is the case to get. If you just want to bring two basses to local gigs it's a tough call between this case and the famous Mono Dual M80 – which I owned and loved for 10+ years before finally wearing it out – which isn't a slam on the Mono, I used it a LOT. The best feature of the Gruv Gear is of course the wheels – but if I were redesigning the case they're also the first thing that I'd change. It's neat that they're removable, but that design also forces them to be closer together and higher off the ground than they would be if they were permanently attached and recessed into the case a little. They work great on a perfectly smooth surface like an airport terminal, but on a rough sidewalk or parking lot the case so unstable that they're practically useless, it flops over onto it's side or back if it hits even the smallest of bumps or dips. The wheels themselves are quite nice though, they're pretty large with very smooth bearings and if they ever go bad they look easy to replace at any skateboard shop. Other good things – the storage on this case is awesome! I can fit a micro head, tuner pedal, DI box, Ipad, cords, etc – everything I need to play a bar gig besides a speaker cab. With the Mono I had to bring the case, a duffel bag full of gear, and the cab. The protection of this case seems fantastic, it's got thicker padding than the Mono and the plastic shell is nice, it probably won't get squished and flexible over time like the Mono did. I kinda wish they'd made it just flat black or grey instead of the cheesy fake carbon-fiber, but it also doesn't bother me that much. The plastic also scuffs quite easily, there's noticeable scratches on nearly every part of it and the bottom corners are worn right through the carbon-fiber-like coating and into the plastic beneath it after just one quick week-long trip to Florida and a handful of local gigs. (See pics – I shot one corner but they both look like that) I'm assuming the damage is mostly cosmetic but I do worry about wearing through the plastic over time. The recessed backpack straps are nice too, when they're zipped in they don't snag on other gear and whatnot when you're sliding it into our out of a car or van full of gear. When used as a backpack it's pretty comfortable, a little more bulky than the Mono but neither one is particularly easy to wear in tight spaces. Speaking of tight spaces, the Mono is a little easier to use on tiny stages where you don't have room to lay it down flat. The Gruv Gear is just a little more awkward to use vertically. If you've read this far you've probably read the specs on both cases, so I don't have to tell you that the GG is heavy, about 10 lbs heavier than the Mono plus all the extra accessories that it can hold. All in all, there's pros and cons to both cases. I'm currently using the GG for all my gigs but I'll probably switch back to the Mono for my local gigs once the snow falls.

It’s all about choices. Two for one. Fitz either my Es-335 and or es-330 with my les Paul along with cords stand Strap for a little more weight as the solid case for one guitar. Bulky but has lots of control. This is due to the case design wanting to naturally stand straight up.Nice for public bustle. Noticed on YouTube that there was a problem with the strings poking through the case. Problem solved very well redesigned. If it’s time for you to Evolve your transportation I highly recommend this.Jes
I own mono cases, and this is the only time I have been disappointed. The acoustic side of the case is amazing as expected, but the electric side is non functional. The electric side was so tight that I was genuinely concerned that my les Paul headstock would break from how tight the case was. The headstock of my guitar could be seen bulging from the case and was offered virtually no protection in case of a drop. You can easily tell that the electric sleeve was nothing more than an afterthought to the acoustic side. I always feel safe with my electric in any single mono case, but will never trust them in this dual case.Kev
I was excited when I saw that MONO was selling this. My needs are unique in that I walk, take a subway or bus to my music classes or jam sessions. So being able to carry an acoustic / electric would be a miracle. MF has a special so I bought. There are two storage compartments, one large and one small like most MONO cases and are a standard carryover. The acoustic compartment is nice and fit my acoustics nicely as I tried them. The electric was a huge disappointment. It is such a tight space that you have to use force to get your electric in. To make it even worse the electric side's zipper doesn't go all the way to the bottom so that last part is shoved in vs "placed" in. This is so tight that it fails tilt back headstocks like Gibsons, Epiphones and Hamers. You are buying an expensive case to protect a fragile instrument and this doesn't work for a class of guitars. I would describe this as an acoustic MONO case with an cheap MONO "guitar sleeve" fixed to the back. The electric size is nowhere near as protected as the acoustic side. The size walls are cushioned but unconstructed and not rigid. The material does not seem as sturdy as my MONO double bass case that I bought several years ago as well.MrPrytania
