Not much to say other than this cable is well made and heavy duty. A must have for connecting an extension cab to any amp. I'm definitely going to purchase a few more of these. The only thing that would be a plus is if they are available with a right angle plug on at least on or both ends. Maybe they are, I really haven't looked. I use mogami gold exclusively and while it's a little expensive it pays off over time since I never have to replace them. Between rehearsals, gigs, and personal practice, they're getting used almost everyday. The only time I've had to replace one is when a singer accidentally stepped on one coming out of my pedal board and broke it. Clean tone, durable, and quality made. Simply the best!!!BD

Worked great for at least 10 sets….then started having issues. Now they don't work at all. I will be replacing the ends with better quality ones. Cables seem to be good quality. Pondering how much of a savings this has become. I tried to use these with my home stereos, hooking up various amps and speaker combinations. While the wire is nicely flexible for 12 ga., my initial impression that the highs were amplified was deflated when I realized that this was due to a massive roll off of the bass! As I use straight 12 ga. for most installation and get great bass, I must assume that this quite noticeable loss is caused by the 1/4" connector, though I can't say if it is soldering and/or cheap materials. I'd return them, but, I had to cut off one end for my purposes, so, recycle bin time. I don't know how these would work in other applications, but, for home stereo, they are not the answer.Robert

I used to use CBI brand cables, and i had more cables break and fail on me in the years past than i could believe, which is why i went with a brand with a lifetime warranty. Since the switch though, i haven't had any cable failure. These cables are much more durable and far better sounding in an onstage scenario than CBI or Musicians gear cables, and this is where i believe they truly shine In my opinion you're not going to find a better cable for the price.

The first order was kind of messed up…First, I ordered the wrong cable by mistake and it a week or so for it to be delivered. I'm sure the cause was USPS they gave me several delivery dates and then cancelled two of them and finally got it here a day late on the third date they projected. Realizing it was the wrong cable, I called and talked to JC, who was very nice and understanding. JC told me how to return the cable and helped me to reorder the correct cable. He said he would send me an number by email authorize the return. Straight out of the box it didn't work. Pulled out the multimeter and found one sleeve wire solder had broken off. A quick hit with the gun and got it fixed. For the price it was a minor setback as I'm used to having to repair broken gear. I can see this lasting awhile if it is set in a position where it doesn't move often. As far as gigging with these I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you pack a soldering gun with you just in case. Doesn't exactly fit my needs as I use it for a connection between several tube amps to an attenuator in a studio setting for recording. Just wanted a quick replacement that would last a few sessions and I believe it will do just that.T

Although I am an avid user of Planet Waves Circuit Breaker cables, I heard they were going to outdo the quality with a new design. So while I was at the NAMM show, I made a point of stopping by the booth and checking out these new cables. At first glance they are built sturdy. After picking one up, I realized they have that non-binding quality to them which I love when Im winding many cables after a gig. Then I took apart the end and checked out the craftsmanship. SOLID! I dont think you will find a better made cable end. I then ordered a few as soon as they came available. I use them with my Larrivee guitars and to be completely honest, I cannot tell the difference in sound quality from the Circuit Breaker cables Ive used, but what I do love about these new American Stage cables is the way they snap into place. My older Larrivee has always had a little trouble and doesnt work with cheap cables at all. So I would have to say for those of you that have to really work your cables to make them connect well, this is the cable for you. They have designed it to clip in like no other. Well worth the extra few bucks to have a solid connection with superior sound quality!Just my 2 cents.
I am so sick of cables that have to be tweaked in the input hole or guitar, or need some kind of random adjustment to find the sweet-spot for good sound and tone. These D'addario cables don't need any finicky adjustments, just plug them in and they work every time, clean connections, great sound! That's all I ask for. I'm sold. First of all, I love these cables. I've been playing music long enough to not get excited over most the of the new products I see. I teach guitar and record for a living. I have a modest professional studio, and I tend to use better than average, but not super high end cables. Although I have purchased a few very expensive cables in the past, I find for most applications the middle of the road cables do the job, especially for typical live situations where I'm far more concerened with crappy bar acoustics and underpowered house PA systems than some slight noise from my cables. The reason for my excitement from these cables is not even the sound, which is wonderful by the way. If that's what you're concerned about, don't worry, you won't get any unwanted noise with these; just unscrew the tip and you'll see what kind of materials and craftsmanship went into these things. But these cables are worth every penny just based on the feel alone. The tip they're really pushing does make a huge difference, especially in less than professional instruements. I have students who are buying these because their cable falls out of their guitars or a bad connection is making popping noises. The American Stage cable solves most of those problems. This thing fits completely snugly in just about every jack I've tried it in. It has a wonderfuly tight, locked-in feel – a huge improvement over all of my other cables. The other thing, which I haven't seen mentioned anywhere, is the awesome casing on this thing. It doesn't tangle nearly as much as other cables. When you drop it, it just sort of falls to the ground and fixes itself into tidy lines and loops on the floor, not the bunched up mess you usually get with more rubbery cables. Anyway, as I said, I love these things. I usually don't even review products, but these just sort of made me happy. Everything you need in a cable. Perfect feel and sound. Supremely built. How can you go wrong with Neutrik tips? The rest of it made in the USA. Awesome Still on the high end of the pricing spectrum, but worth it if your cables are falling short or you just want the best.
