I was a bit skeptical when I purchased but due to all the positive reviews I was swayed. I have had this amp for around a month now and I am amazed at how many different types of sounds I can get out of the EQ section. With the drive you can get massive dirt, crunchy sound, all the way to that "Marcus Miller" type sound. I use a Fender American Deluxe Jazz 5 with this set-up. I have been using this head with a Fender Rumble V3 1x 15 and an Ampeg bxt 4×10. Super warm, round sound all the way to biting rock tones. I also have a Fender Rumble V3 500 watt amp and the quality of this Aguilar is better. I can also get very pleasing sounds out of the Rumble amp as well though. I also play an Eden WT 800 and sometimes it's just to clinical sounding. The Eden is nice but over priced. I think if your budget is limited go for the Fender Rumble V3 500, but if you can pony up more money, go for the Aguilar. My only 2 complaints would be the need to purchase a case separately and the fact that there isn't an aux input. Other than that, I have really taken to the clarity , punch and tone of this little sucker. Mostly I play R & B, funk, gospel, Jazz, and some rock. At first I had trouble finding a way to get "my sound" which tends to lean towards that fat Marcus Miller sound, but I had to learn how to use the EQ a bit. Took some time to figure out but now I LOVE IT! This amp really has tons of power and sounds louder than 500 watts to be sure. I am satisfied with my purchase. If you have never owned a class D amp, I highly suggest paying attention to this review. I bought this amp solely on reviews as none were available in the local GC. If you DO NOT like to FEEL the sound of your bass…then this amp is for you. This amp lacks GIRTH! It is weak and feeble. I bought this amp to take place of my older Ampeg B2R. My ampeg is not even a higher dollar SVT series head…just a B2R and it wipes the floor with this measly class D amp. I highly suggest you not waste your money like I did…..I am extremely disappointed in this amp (It's going back) and the reviews it gets cause these class D amps are weak…go ahead and try one head to head and you will see a BIG difference. I will not sacrifice tone for weight and if you heard them next to each other you would not either. Keep shopping! Better yet, demand companies stop selling these class D junk amps…..the weight is not worth the tone. I now see why so many reviews show little to no EQ adjustment on this amp ( usually reviewing flat)….cause it don't have much to speak of. Little bottom end and lacks high end. The Drive knob goes from not enough to too much …no sweet spot and not very practical sound-wise….just a gimmick in my opinion. I ordered a positive grid 600W head it arrived defective and I returned it the next day I then ordered and paid for a second one because I didn't want to miss out on the deal. Well today I called them because the second head was not being shipped and I was told that I would not be getting the second amp because they were out. They are refunding all my money that's not the problem the problem is I was told they had another to sell me which I was find with even though they should have set one aside because they knew the first one was being shipped back. I was not even offered a deal a a rack one which they have in stock I think I should have been offered a deal on one of the other positive grid. This amp is incredible. Having pretty much any sound at my fingertips, in a unit which can go from whisper quiet (but still great sounding) to stage volume is awesome. The knobs/switches etc all feel like very high quality, and the added software licence is a nice bonus. It may seem pricey, but it is way, way cheaper than buying all those classic amps, and the sounds are indistinguishable. Can't recommend highly enough.malediction99
I was very excited to get the Bias head after many reviews online. To my disappointment, it seems that this amounts to a midi controller for the Bias Amp software and pretty much nothing else. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any kind of usable tone out of this (possibly due to my own lack of understanding or maybe it needs to be run out of a cab) but, the thing that made me give it a two star rating is that I found out the Bias FX software cannot also be used with this head. There is so much more that could have been done with this thing. I am very disappointed with the execution of this product and had hoped for something more than the bare minimum amount of functionality.NICK

Don't buy this amp expecting to gig with it at anything more than very low volume levels. Matched with sensitive speakers and master volume set at full, you might be happy with the volume you can get with maybe an acoustic set. The BAM 200 would be fine for practicing and jamming with a friend in the basement, but add drums and an amped guitarist and I think you will struggle to be heard. It's output sounds closer to 30 or 40 watts RMS, rather than the mystery 200 watts TC Electronics rates this mini. Tone was OK, a little fat if you over do the bass control and the preamp sections seems to overload easily, even with low output basses. I really don't have a good use for it after buying it, but it is easy to transport!airtow
The perfect no frills small unit. Haven't really road tested due to virus shutdowns but home bound sound is fantastic. I originally bought for a backup type amp but am quickly becoming enamored by its tonal qualities. Over the past few years I have been trying to reduce my equipment footprint and lugging around effort. I have another TC Electronics amp (BH250) along with a 2×12 cab and a 2×10 cab. These have been fantastic in small and medium venues – larger venues all seem to have their own sound systems which tap into my setup. Now, with the addition of this unit, I can even run my Rickenbacker in stereo without breaking my back hauling around a lot of equipment. The sound coming out of the BAM is smooth and even. It can get very very thin or very very fat and everything in between controls are solid and even. The only thing I would say that might be missing is an 'auxiliary in' but that can be side stepped with a small mixer. All in all a great buy for a very big sounding little D amp that can almost fit in a jacket pocket.2991tom

I'm enjoying the Vox VX50 as a practise Amp, it's small, light and quiet but has a nice tone. I can play it anytime without upsetting the neighbours. Sound: I bought the Ampeg Microvr Head originaly with one Ampeg 2-10" cabinet as a part of matched set, as most people do – about three months a later I bought another cabinet – so now I'm often running two of the same cabinets and the head together. When you plug in the second cabinet the rig gets noticeably louder in this set up, and also appears to have a much more deeper bass tone(if you want it). Adding the second cabinet added $300 to my rig – but if you can afford it, the sound is far superior to just the single cabinet, and gives you a lot of flexiblity. For smaller indoor venues like playing bass behind people with pugged in acoustic guitars, I run the head with just one cabinet and it sounds fine – both tone and volume wise. When I playing along with a drummer most of the time I opt for using two cabinets rather than just one. At higher volumes – like playing with a drummer it just sound stronger and fuller in every respect than by using just the single 2 10" cabinet. I'm either running a recent custom C.F. Martin Acoustic/ Electric Bass guitar, or a Fender Precession Bass, through the rig – depending on who and what I'm playing on music wise. It works excellent with either instrument and I am very happy with the set up. Even with just one cabinet you won't be dissapointed. Features: Happy with everything that it came with feature wise. Didn't like the stock power cord that came with because it was very stiff and hard to wind up – Ampeg should switch vendors and get a power cord supllier that could offer them a more felxible cord of the same quality that you cound wind up easier. Ease of Use: Tone controls are easy to figure out and use. Rear connections on the amp are simple, straight forward and easy to use, and hook things up. I often use a Martin acoustic bass guitar with this rig – so I use a Fishman DI preamp in between my bass and the amp – this being done basically to help control feedback at higher volumes (especially when playing out door gigs) and to fine tune the tone on the acoustic bass a bit more. My Fender bass sounds fine with out the Fishman preamp and the controls on the amp head work well with it – giving you many mutiple tone combinations depending on how you set them. Also my Fender fretless bass sounds really good through the amp and the matched speaker that you will most likely buy with the head. Quality: Quality seems very high. After about two years of owning and active giging – it is holding up extremely well. Over the last year or so I have taken it out on local gigs about twice a week, So it's been out of my house more than a hundred times so far, and there haven't been any issues so far – all this in all kinds of weather and temperatures. I had black vinyl covers made for the head (from a custom amp cover innernet company)and for both speaker cabinets as soon as I bought everything – so even aften trucking the units all over the place for quite awhile now they still all look fresh and brand new. The power cord that came with it was very stiff and always hard to roll up – so I bought an after market cord on a website cord supplier that was more flexible and easier to wind up. I've used the after market power cord every since. The head has a fan in the back that runs whever the unit is powered up, that when you first get the amp drives you crazy – because it appears to sound so loud. Truth is though while you may hear it running in your house when practing – you never do at gigs. At any gig the room and enviroment background noise easily drown it out right away – you just never hear the fan running at all. When I first got it I though something was wrong with the fan – there wasn't. Its an Ampeg thing – that is the low fan noise in a quiet background setting. Keeps everything cool inside the head – so you can certainly live with it. I got used to it after awhile and don't even notice it anymore. No one has ever commented to me anywhere about any fan noise coming from my amp. So don't think something is wrong with the fan when you first get the head. Value: The original outlay (about $600 for the head and one matching cabinet) is a bit steep compared to several other small bass amps on the market out there – but you get what you pay for I guess. Due to the price saddly – alot of bass players might not be able to buy one and will go with something cheaper out there. Before buying this I looked around for about two months at other rigs on the innernet, at music stores, and at othet musicians' bass rigs when watching them perform. This unit was replacing a Hartke Kickback 12 – which I used for about three years for the same type of smaller gigs – which is for more low volume type of dealsthat I play at – where you don't have to worry about shaking the room and making the paint peel of the walls when you hit your low E string on something like Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac". Sound: I own the Microvr amp and 2 210svtav cabs. I bought the second cab after I got the Mircovr set up. The sound sound you get from this things for the money blows anything else out their out of the water. To get the rated 200watts performance you need a 2nd cab as the load with one cab is 8 ohms at 150 watts. Light weight portability and small footprint size are a plus especially if your space chanllenged. This thing rocks. Features: This is a no frills set up. Has what you need to have great sound with a headphone jack to play practice in a low noise enviroment. Ease of Use: It has a 3 band eq section that you can dial in easy to find a sound you like. Its no svtpro 7 but for the money you will not find a better amp in its class. Quality: This amp is made solid. Mimics the old school look of the 70s svt lineup. Value: With anything you purchase you wish you could get it for less thats just the way it is. But for the money you will not find a better sounding and well made rig in this class. I have owned it for about 2 years now and play on it alot. Its an AMPEG. The Wow Factor: This thing looks great sounds great and its and AMPEG. Overall: I will always have this amp. Its perfect for travel to other locations and has enough head room for small venues and recording situations and the sound is truely amazing.

Back in the day I played through a 90's Ampeg SVT-2 with an 8×10 cab and have always loved that Ampeg tone. A year ago I got back into music and purchased the V4B and the matching SVT 2×12 cab. I love both the tone and portability. While the V4B is obviously not the same, it's every bit as versatile and sounds great at low volumes while keeping the hum almost non-existant. Whether playing through a RIC 4003 or a P-bass, I can get booming lows, mid range grind grind, and/or clear cutting highs. The build quality is great and the price reasonable. My only complaint is at $1200, I wish it would have shipped with an amp cover. I was able to buy one separately…but it would have been nice not to.Chris
Without a doubt it is the most fun in an amp I have ever had! I've gone through them all: 60's Bassman, Marshall MKII Super Bass, Gallien Kreuger and an Ampeg B15 – the V4b has the power of the Marshall and the tone shaping of the GK in one amp. I prefer the crunch (grit) of the V4B to my old Marshall (which was an unreliable, noisy one trick amp). The V4B's tonal variations are really impressive. All in all this is my favorite amp in a long succession of amps.GORGO
Played SVT’s for years, until I finally decided the weight was enough. So for the past 10 years it’s been lightweight class d amps to save my back. Got to play one of these in a medium 450 seat club through a 6×10. Boom?? I was blown away. Got home after the tour and ordered one of these and cannot say how impressed I am by the sure volume you get out of 100 watts, and of course the classic AMPEG tone. I can’t say enough positive things about this amp. Starting with the sleek look, the small size of this amp is super convenient. I live in NYC so I travel by foot/train with the amp a lot and it’s nice to not have to lug around a 50 pound amp. After 5 years and hundreds of bar gigs together my trusty Rumble 500 head started acting up. I would turn it on and nothing, unless I popped a string, then it would pop on and pretty much stay on so I still gigged with it but in the world of GAS this is more than enough reason to get a new amp. Am I wrong? So I sold my backup rig which was a 77 Ampeg V4 and set out both TB and YouTube on the dreaded amp comparison ride. At the end, I was about to buy a Mesa Boogie WD-800 but then some reviews of the EBS Reidmar 750 swayed me at the last minute. I ended up returning that amp right away, out of the box the power light worked in the morning trial but was non working at the evening trial. That and I could not get a sound out of it that I liked. It also felt like the master volume pot had an unusual audio taper to it so it was too loud at 2! Also the on board compressor was a bit weak to me. Im sure its a great amp as many have said but not for me. So the search continued and I ended up on an unlikely choice. Unlikely in that if you told me I was going to be all giggly about how awesome my new PEAVEY bass amp was I would have maybe been a little disappointed as I have just a trace amount of brand snobbery. I played through a Demeter prior to the Rumble, Ill have you know! Snort..Snort So I ended up getting the MiniMega. Just from last nights show alone Im sold and in love with this beefy little gem. I went straight from the PO to the gig and just plugged it in, did minimal EQing and loved it from start to finish. The on board compressor works very well and seems to be designed to affect the highs more than the lows which is really nice, seems to be weighted just right for bass. I play American Standard Ps only for the record. Today I played with it at home and its really about perfect for what I do (rock cover bands) and is so flexible I cant imagine a situation where it wouldnt fully deliver. The EQ is super powerful but with the right frequencies so theres a wide variety of GOOD sounds. . Ive had very powerful eqs on amps before but they gave me a huge array of not so great or just so so sounds. Im sure many of you know what Im talking about. The KOSMOS knobs are cool too. The outer is a sub harmonic synth and the inner one I would describe as make my neck sound like a stand up knob. Probably not what Im going to find in the manual if I ever look but thats what it sounds like to me. Very cool indeed. Seriously, I turn the knob and my neck gets extra woody sounding, like an upright. Im not kidding about there being a lot of cool and useful tones in this thing. The extra power over the Rumble 500 was noticeable and nice. Then the guitar player chimed in on the first break, dude, that amp blows your old one away by far! I would highly recommend you try one of these if you are shopping for that perfect all around bass head. You can always return it if you dont like it but youll likely be blown away like me. From the start, the packaging is very attractive when it arrives. Head comes with a hand bag style carrying case, which is a nice bonus. Form factor is nice and compact and weight is at 7-10 lbs at most. This unit is perfect for easy travel. Sound wise, this head is clean and powerful. The lows can be a bit overbearing and when you dial it back to tame, it seems the taper off and thin out a little too soon so it can be hard to dial in the sweet spot at times. I found it best to dial in with the punch button disengaged. If you have a bass with an active EQ, this slight issue can be resolved much more easier. Otherwise, this amp has a wide range of tones and is well worth the price of admission. The Kosmos feature is cool but was not useful for my primary purposes of playing live. It was cool to hook up via D.I. to my interface, jam on my 7" computer monitors and shake the house!Henry

Ich kann euch das Gerät sehr für den gebrauch zu Hause ans Herz legen. Lasst euch nicht von den kleinen Abmessungen abschrecken, der Würfel hat genug Power und Druck um alle Nachbarn im Haus zu nerven und er klingt auch bei leiser Zimmerlautstärke noch extrem gut ! Ich habe im Laden ca. 30 – 50 Amps getestet welche in mein Heim & Budget passen. (Habe auch deutlich teurere In Betracht gezogen) Dieser Amp hat mich vom Sound her am meisten überzeugt. Der Sound ist sehr satt und sehr gut ausbalanciert. Die Bässe sind Druckvoll und Knurrig. Die Mitten Cremig. Die höhen Brilliant. Entscheidend war aber das der Sound hier nicht wie bei fast allen anderen Amps in ein Resonantes Wummern verfällt wo vom eigentlichen Ton nicht mehr viel übrig bleibt. Beim Laney RB1 bleibt der eigentliche Ton stets im Clean im Vordergrund. EIn Kopfhöreranschluss mit kleiner Klinke ist auch vorhanden – sehr gut ! Ein Compressor ist auch mit verbaut, dieser musste aber noch nie Tätig werden da ich im normalen Heimgebrauch gar nicht in die nähe der Übersteuerung komme. Leider musste ich den ersten Würfel direkt wieder Umtauschen da er sich nicht sauber angehört hat, möglicherweise irgendwas mit der Membran nicht ok oder irgendwas locker, keine Ahnung hat sich angehört wie ein schlechtes Overdrive, achtet also drauf das euer Laney RB1 sauber bzw. Clean klingt. Habe Ersatz bekommen mit dem ich nun schon seit 5 Monaten sehr zufrieden am abrocken bin. Denke mal das es ein Einzelfall war, man kann ja auch an den Demogeräten vor Ort im Laden ungefähr einschätzen wie Langlebig die Geräte sind, da haben die Laney Geräte eigentlich einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht. Während bei anderen namhaften Herstellern schon die Poti Knöpfe abgefallen sind oder die Klinkenbuchsen locker waren sind bei den Laney Amps nur die Potis viel zu leichtgängig gewesen, Funktion war aber völlig Einwandfrei. Also für das Geld ist es wirklich sehr überzeugend was der Kleine Würfel so drauf hat, die 5 Sterne hat er sich fair verdient.

This amp is stylish and well-made and has just enough volume for practice with a small uke group. At full volume and with the gain on half, it is equivalent to my Vox Pathfinder Bass (10W) on 4. The gain at 3/4 gives it more volume but the sound starts getting a bit bright and jangly for the passive pickup u-bass. I'm using with it. Might be ok for a bass guitar. I attached an old guitar strap to the screw-in side buttons which works really well for carrying it.danners17

I use a Korg Pandora Mini multi effects processing unit to achieve a large spectrum of sounds. That is another unit that I recommend guitar players to use to compliment the sound and functionality of this Pignose Hog 20 amplifier. The Hog handles pedals very well, as I also unit a Biyang Compressor Unit and an Electro Harmonix Linear Boost Unit (both seperately). I have not tried a Distortion or High Gain pedal unit to achieve METAL-esk sounds but I am very sure (almost to a certainty) that this amplifier can handle it. The amplifier also has a TONE knob to adjust the brightness of the sound, as well as a SQUEAL knob to add an OVERDRIVE voice to the sound. This SQUEAL knob IS NOT a distortion knob. It is best used as a clean boost or to add a small amount of GRIT to the sound. If you are looking for a GAIN suited amplifier, this unit is NOT for you. If you are looking for an amplifier that inspires you to create and play than look no further. This amp is for you! This amplifier is 100% portable. Once the unit is fully charged one can easily take it to a park, garden, school, play ground, lake, beach, or ANY place that does not have an electrically input. Be warned; the juice on this unit only lasts for 8 hours so plan accordingly. The amplifier is very sturdy. Though it is small and compact, and can easily fit into the trunk of a car, it is somewhat heavy (weighing at about 15-20 pounds; maybe less). I can not attest to it's long term functionality for I have only owned it for a week. This amplifier is a STEAL! Its value and practical use far exceeds its cost. This product does exactly what I wanted it to. I have to play a wedding with my acoustic at an outdoor event this week where there is no electricity. With an acoustic guitar, you do have to watch where you place it because it will feedback if you're not positioned correctly, but that's no problem because I'm outside. The squeal knob is pretty much worthless to me, but maybe it's better with a solid body electric. I purchased a battery operated ZOOM MS-50G pedal, just to add some eq, compression, chorus, delay and reverb to the Pignose and I couldn't be happier with the results — especially when you consider that this is a battery operated amp.inthesticks53
Don't think this amps 20 watts will be loud. My Jca22h 20w will bury this amp on less than 1. Most 15w and some 10w amps will out do the pig by a long shot[even a 5 watt tube amp] The pig does'nt have a lot of clean headroom either but it's enough for what it's for. It has a decent crunch and distorts easily with humbuckers at higher volume. I don't personally care for the "squeal" knob.Too much "odd" harmonics. What its good for is that it's rechargeable, super portable, and the charge lasts a good bit with the dual beefy battery packs in the back. You can take this anywhere and play. No electric….no problem. And that's a good thing. The best feature is the built in battery packs that can be recharged. Lasts quite a while on a charge too. Well built. Feels and looks solid. You can buy a Fender champion 600 tube amp for the same money or a Fender frontman 25 for less but they're either much larger and you have to have juice to run them. In order to get the full 250 watts, I replaced the stock 16 ohm speakers with 2-8 ohm speakers, and the amp just opened up! I'm also using an MXR 10 band eq, which gives even more EQ flexibility! I was on the fence about MarkBass amps, because they are not cheap and I didn't exactly love the yellow drivers. But man am I glad I went to check them out. I tried several of the Markbass combos, and wound up with my fave being thesmall, simple 802. It has minimal controls, but has a headphone and aux in, ability to drive an external speaker, and it sounds INCREDIBLE. IMO, if the amp sounds great, you don't need a dozen knobs and modeling features. And it's built like a tank. But still only 24 lbs. Wow! Put aside your preconceptions about a small amp, dig deep for a few extra pennies, and enjoy a MarkBass yourself. These amps deserve their reputation.JUSTIN
This little combo opens the gate to a missing link : 8'' drivers, and 2 of them ! The amp section is extremely simple : volume and Markbass's trademark 2 eq shaping knobs – VLE (vintage loudspeaker emulator) behaves pretty much like the tone rolloff knob on your passive bass, and the VPF (variable preshape filter) "smile-shaped" eq is boosting both bass and treble while scooping the mids. A combination of both will get quite close to a typical tube amp sound. But there's a but : it can be a bit too much bass heavy but there's no way to turn them down. Also, one thing the user's manual does not say is that the amp will go into heavy compression at high volumes – which is kind of welcome, as it protects amp and speakers and gives that sagging tube amp dynamic sound – but at the limit it really does pump like crazy, so if that is not to your taste you'll be annoyed… But worst of all is the non-adjustable piezo tweeter : while at low to medium volumes it gives that nice treble edge, at high output it becomes hissy (especially with VPF turned up) and starts to spit out really horrible distorted transients that do completely ruin the sound of the 2 excellent 8'' drivers : I can't believe Markbass could let that thing hit the market without a tweeter control knob !Zak

I picked this up for my son so he could practice around the house. Killer stocking stuffer! When the son is away the dad will now play. I started playing my Mustang Bass through this and it did the job. It's a small amp, not a practice amp. This is perfect for camping trips, rocking at the office or kicking it in the backyard. Took a chance on this and purchased it without every playing it. Watched video reviews on it and gave it a shot. Yes, I know that it's small in size, smaller than a kids lunchbox but I hoped it'd produce quality sound and what I got was muddy sounds at increased volumes. It's not clear sounding and my goal to play through an amp is to sound good and I felt if I actually played this in front of people, the muddyness would make me sound amateurish. So, for what you pay for this, yes, you get amplified but it's not real great quality, unless you're a metal player because you don't get a clean sound from this. Excellent head for the amateur musician like me. I'm running it to a single Peavey 410tx cab and I've got more volume than I ever need. Very clean even when cranked up.
I can't say if it's good or not for a professional, but for just goofing around with friends and playing the occasional backyard picnic or VFW hall, it's a perfect combination. I've had zero problems with it and it does everything I need it to.Red Scorpion 6

I've been playing for almost 30 years and this truly one of the most versatile heads I've ever played. I play 3-4 hour shows in a country band with a Fender American P-Bass and the tone is thick and loud. I also use this in my punk/hardcore band with a Fender USA Jazz bass and it cuts right through the drums and guitar. The Distortion is excellent for this style of music. I've also used it with an Ernie Ball Stingray on multiple studio sessions and again, you can get so many tones from this amp. It's Great. Best of all is lightweight and beats my Ampeg SVT Classic any day.Justin
I played vintage Fender Bassman heads when I was learning to play bass in the early 70’s , but the old Bassman’s were under powered against Marshall amps . So I went with Ampegs and Peaveys . But these new Bassman heads have PLENTY of power and that distinctive Fender mojo tone ! I’m LOVING the Bassman 800 ! And it is so flexible with the channel switching and the passive vs active channels . Now I’m going to buy some more Fender cabs !
This head is super great!! I have had the all tube bassman 300 for about 15 years and the 800 sound just as good if not better. Obviously the weight difference was the major factor in buying the bassman 800. While also having the look and feel of a classic tube head. For me I just can't get into the super small fit in your backpack heads. So the bassman 800 is really something that you would want to stand in front of. That being said I have 3 different cab combinations I use. One 410 that lives in my rehearsal studio. One 15 and 210 together, and an 810 cabinet. So depending on the venue size and load in opinions will dictate the cabs I use. I try the use the 810 when I can about 50% of the shows. The bassman 800 with an 810 cab is a match made in heaven. For me personal you don't have to play to destroy everyone's eardrums, but's it's nice to have that felling behind you. Plus in rock the drums are loud and powerful, or at least they should be, and nothing better than the old fridge to even the score. The Di is great and much improved from my other head (bassman 300}. This model has an adjustable volume for the DI with the normal pre and post options. The Di is also tube driven, giving the front of house a nice warm signal. What I'm really loving about this amp is the tone seems just a little tighter than my all tube bassman 300. The 800 is super punchy without having that plastic fake tone. I also find myself using the overdrive on the amp over my two overdrive pedals on my board. Honestly makes think over going with a tuner and the foot switch only… So really the test is going to be how will this head stand up to playing every weekend. At least with my all tube bassman 300 can almost always be repaired,like an old muscle car. This bassman 800 is like a Tesla, freaking awesome but hope battery doesn't run out on your family trip up north. Anyway time will tell, till then this amp is awesome!! Loving itDbassmann

This amp is a beast I promise you won't be disappointed the Sgt circuit is quite the addition and definitely helps you shape some old-school tone. The headline was however sarcastic, the fact of the matter is it shakes my walls and theirs. What more could you ask for! I bought this little amp after reading the previous customer reviews so I decided to take a chance on it. I must admit that I am quite pleased with the amp. Great tone and balance and it will provide ample sound and clarity for a practice amp. Perfect for an apartment or a person to use in a smaller space. It was well worth the price.
Ordered this along with a 5 string gib bass. The items were supposedly shipped at the same time, but I received the bass guitar 8/10 with no clear tracking on where the bass amp is or when it will come in. If I would have known it wasn't going to come in at the same time I would've bought an amp from somewhere else. The guitar is amazing for the price even the though the packaging was beat up and ripped with tape all over like it had been a return. Very skeptic about this and I've sent an email which I haven't received a response.
UPDATE. I received a message from Glarry stating that the Amp shipped separately from the Bass I ordered, and with a different carrier service then the one who brought the Bass Guitar. I give a 4 out of 5 stars, it creates a great sound for being a 20w Amp, it's compact and light. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the volume nob is vary sensitive. Other than that, it's great.
