Reviews:
Outstandingly well made case. Very sturdy. You will not have to worry about your guitar when it's in this case. Lined with fur material; heavy duty latches, and chrome "feet" tips that keep the case off the floor when you sit it down. Made with plywood, so it is heavy and very durable. It was a little expensive, but I know my guitar is well protected. I already had a Takamine case for my other guitar, and this ChromaCast case is made as well, or even better than the Takamine.Doris
I am surprised by the quality of this case. It is heavy duty, sturdy. I don’t think I’ve ever spent so little and received the best quality like this. My Fender FA-100 fits perfectly. It has a compartment for gear, extra strings, picks, small bottle of cleaner, and whatever.Jim
Looks good but cheaply made and flimsy. Top of case will not stay opened unless you use some force to slightly stretch the strap but you have to be careful not to over stress it or it may detach on one end. Plus the latches on the top section of the case didn't seem seem a bit misaligned the first time and afterwards when closing the case. Spend the extra money and get a better made case.GBPKRMAN
2. Musician's Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case Black
Product Details:
Quality hardshell tweed case for you dreadnought at a price that wont break the bank. the musicians gear deluxe dreadnought case features 5-ply cross-laminate wood construction, plush interior lining, textured vinyl corners and heavy-duty hardware, all designed to help your guitar survive the rigors of the road, it also has an interior accessory compartment for your extra strings, sheet music, picks, and more. its locking fasteners ensure your guitar doesnt come out at an inopportune time. choose tweed or black from the drop down menu to have a case that best fits your style.
Reviews:
This is the 4th Musician's Gear dreadnought case I have bought from Musician's Friend/Guitar Center and by far the best in terms of condition. The two supposedly new tweed ones (please see my review of the tweed version) featured glue stains, internal fabric gaps and latches that didn't line up. The previous black case had numerous lumps (probably plywood chips) under the Tolex type covering. The black case I am reviewing here was cosmetically flawless with perfectly aligned latches. The only issue (there always seems to be at least one with these cases) is the lock didn't work properly (it jammed in the lock position). Graphite lube, numerous gentle twists of the key, shots of compressed air and some light machine oil did the trick. Now the case is perfect! If they were all like this one (except for the lock of course) I would give these cases a five-star rating since mine have held up well to being hauled around. NOTE: as other reviewers have said, the black case does not have the arched cover as the tweed one does, so it may not be suitable for full-depth archtops. My case is 6.25" deep, 13.5" wide at the upper bout, 16.75" at the lower bout (snug). If you have a jumbo or similar sized guitar or a deep archtop, it probably will not fit this case.Studio B
I bought the black version of the Musicians Gear deluxe dreadnaught guitar case on sale at a great price for an old vintage Japanese made 12 string acoustic. The guitar is dreadnaught size and fits very well into the case as if it was made for it. My Yamaha FS335ii 6 string acoustic also fits into it perfectly. The case looks good and has soft black lining with some extra padding over the sound hole and bridge area. The 4 latches all line up and work just fine. The case also has protective metal bubble brads on the bottom end for standing it upright, on the bottom for sitting it on the floor and on the flat bottom for laying down to open it up. The brads are all smooth and should not scratch any surface. There are better cases available but you will have to pay a lot more them. This one is a good value choice to protect your guitar and look professional.dhughe1
I bought this case for my new 12 string. My 12 is not a dreadnought but the dimensions were the closest thing I could find I the MF website. It's a little tight on the lower bout, the case I received is about 1" smaller then advertised, but I guess that's on me- after all it is a dreadnought case! All that said, this is a gorgeous and sturdy case. I will be buying a black version for my next dreadnought! The value is there.Dan
3. Yamaha Ag1-Hc Acoustic Guitar Case, Hardshell
Product Details:
The yamaha ag1-hc hardshell case is designed to protect your a1 f fg or other larger-than-average dreadnought-style acoustic guitar. of course it's also worth mentioning that the ag1-hc fits a wide range of other acoustic guitars – making it an excellent fit for instruments you may have had trouble finding a case for. what's more the case doesn't say yamaha or anything on it so you can stay brand free as you transport your guitar safely.

Reviews:
This is a good quality product for a great price. There are surely better built cases but at a cost of 3 times the price not that much better. This case fits my Epiphone Acoustic/Electric AJ220SCE well and I would buy one again and have ordered one for My Martin D45 copy.1115drh1949
Case arrived on time and packed adequately. Product matched online description. My FG300 fit in the case though snug at lower body width. It's a little bit heavier than the original but I don't mind as it offers good protection for my guitar that I treasure. I am a satisfied customer even though the price was a bit high. The Phantom
I value my instruments more than the styrofoam-filled nylon gig bag the guitar came out of the box with, so I got the hard case. It fit my guitar perfectly and I got it at the best price around. It has a key and it worked flawlessly. It is sturdy and ought to last as long as the guitar does. Thanks a lot.Harley D.

Reviews:
I bought this guitar case on its appeal. I then placed my guitar in the case and enjoyed it more. The next thing I did, was to buy another case. Following that I bought a matching gig bag. Now I have to learn how to play, and to learn where to put my fingers! In any event, I'm dressed and ready to travel. Your haberdasher, Chrishubbachri
This is an absolutely beautiful case for the money. Case is very well made, and the gold hardware looks and feels very nice. This case is quite large, as i had read but cradles my full size dreadnaught very nicely with very little movement. It would visually fit a slightly larger guitar than mine, and my guitar is quite large. Nice padding and center pocket. Protects well and looks great.gonzophysics

Reviews:
Overall: See title. I own two gig bags from World Tour. One is an older model and the other is this one. Both are great. They offer a good bit of protection and they aren't too expensive. The materials feel very durable. Other gig bags cost double this and aren't as good. I highly recommend World Tour gig bags to anyone. As a heads up, my short scale bass is able to fit in this deluxe electric guitar bag. I am so happy. The next time I need a gig bag, I will get another one from World Tour.Marshall
Overall: This bag obviously is not the high dollar type of case. However, the material is much better than i had imagined. Relatively thick canvas and solid material. I am especially impressed with the zippers which are very good and give you confidence when opening and closing the bag. It will keep your guitar from sun, rain and water, and relatively light conditions. But this is NOT a protective bag. It is a carry all. It has one pocket to hold your extra stuff that's a pretty good size with two zippers. I would definitely buy another one especially at this price. The bag came with my order of a guitar and fit it perfectly (a Gretsch G5220) Basically, it will just about fit any solid body guitar from a Les Paul to a Strat. Solid purchase in my opinion.Michael
I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones. The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me. All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. Zippers feel good, they're big and bulky, definitely high quality! You're getting quite a lot of value for the price this gig bag sells for! I've read terrible reviews and seen pictures of big brand gig bags (some of which retail for 2-3 times the price of this one, so I went with this one and can't recommend it enough!Oscar

Reviews:
This gig bag has very little padding, and only one pocket. The protection is very limited around the headstock. The zipper feels cheap. I sent mine back because I was very disappointed with the quality. I really don't know who would take this on a world tour, not me for sure!jim
I purchased mainly for a dust cover and for very infrequent travel. I'm 70 and no longer gig. This bag is well constructed and the pocket is large with easy access.Udell
I have ordered and received a 6 piece Tama drum set multiple extra cymbals stand double bass pedal hardware and accessories. I just ordered and received a epiphone acoustic guitar and gig bag. I have placed 5 orders and everything has been perfect! Exactly what I wanted and more. 2 of my orders will be completely paid off on the 6th of February. The others I will pay off in March! Reviews:
Purchased this case to go along with a 'first' electric guitar/amp for my grandson's birthday. When I picked the items up at the store, I noticed a chemical smell—thought it was just a 'new item' smell. I was way wrong. When my grandson came over for his birthday party, he popped open the case—and the room filled with a strong toxic chemical smell—who knows what caused the odor that was outgassing from the inside of the case??? Glue? Waste plastic recycled into this item? Pesticides? All of the above? The smell caused everyone in the room to gag, watery eyes, sneezing, itching skin, etc. The odor had even gotten into the Epiphone Les Paul guitar—what was to be a gift turned into a big disappointment. I put the open case in my garage for a week with no success—it still reeks and causes skin irritation/watery eyes. I'm going to take the case back for a refund and really check out any replacements. (Do an internet check on 'toxic plastic from China'—lots of products with this problem. I purchased a beginner set of harmonicas over two years ago and had the same problem—the chemical odor never went away and I tossed the harmonicas,)Gary
This case fits my D-16E Martin perfect, nice and snug, no slop or movement, I love it, will buy another one for my other guitar. Its a quality case and everything works fllaughlessly. And the price is great, I can't say nothing g bad about this case. It beats the soft gig bag that my Martin came in.William
I purchased this case for my PRS SE Acoustic guitar. Body fits fine but the neck section of the case is longer than my guitar. Not an issue, though as I have my leather strap I can put above the headstock. Can't complain about the price as it was on sale at the time I bought it. Good quality. Thumbs up!James

Best gig bag/case for the air-traveling musician, A++++Rah Sungee
If you're flying somewhere with two basses, this is the case to get. If you just want to bring two basses to local gigs it's a tough call between this case and the famous Mono Dual M80 – which I owned and loved for 10+ years before finally wearing it out – which isn't a slam on the Mono, I used it a LOT. The best feature of the Gruv Gear is of course the wheels – but if I were redesigning the case they're also the first thing that I'd change. It's neat that they're removable, but that design also forces them to be closer together and higher off the ground than they would be if they were permanently attached and recessed into the case a little. They work great on a perfectly smooth surface like an airport terminal, but on a rough sidewalk or parking lot the case so unstable that they're practically useless, it flops over onto it's side or back if it hits even the smallest of bumps or dips. The wheels themselves are quite nice though, they're pretty large with very smooth bearings and if they ever go bad they look easy to replace at any skateboard shop. Other good things – the storage on this case is awesome! I can fit a micro head, tuner pedal, DI box, Ipad, cords, etc – everything I need to play a bar gig besides a speaker cab. With the Mono I had to bring the case, a duffel bag full of gear, and the cab. The protection of this case seems fantastic, it's got thicker padding than the Mono and the plastic shell is nice, it probably won't get squished and flexible over time like the Mono did. I kinda wish they'd made it just flat black or grey instead of the cheesy fake carbon-fiber, but it also doesn't bother me that much. The plastic also scuffs quite easily, there's noticeable scratches on nearly every part of it and the bottom corners are worn right through the carbon-fiber-like coating and into the plastic beneath it after just one quick week-long trip to Florida and a handful of local gigs. (See pics – I shot one corner but they both look like that) I'm assuming the damage is mostly cosmetic but I do worry about wearing through the plastic over time. The recessed backpack straps are nice too, when they're zipped in they don't snag on other gear and whatnot when you're sliding it into our out of a car or van full of gear. When used as a backpack it's pretty comfortable, a little more bulky than the Mono but neither one is particularly easy to wear in tight spaces. Speaking of tight spaces, the Mono is a little easier to use on tiny stages where you don't have room to lay it down flat. The Gruv Gear is just a little more awkward to use vertically. If you've read this far you've probably read the specs on both cases, so I don't have to tell you that the GG is heavy, about 10 lbs heavier than the Mono plus all the extra accessories that it can hold. All in all, there's pros and cons to both cases. I'm currently using the GG for all my gigs but I'll probably switch back to the Mono for my local gigs once the snow falls.

Great protection for your jumbo and well made, but bulky and bigger than your hardshell case. Still it has shoulder straps and does the job and offer great protection for your guitar. What I needed.Nashville Fred
I have had my D'angelico EXL1 for a year now and its not a small guitar what so ever. it came with a hard shell case but it was quite heavy and not very mobile. My guitar was too big for any other mono case available at the time. This case provides all the protection of a hardshell with the convenience of gig back. Absolutely recommend.Aaron

This gig bag/case, I would call it more like a case, fit my old FG450SA perfect 👌 it's way more rigid than I expected! The padding is thick for good protecting your guitar. Looks fantastic and the Yamaha emblem it quality stitching! Shipping was very fast, even during this covid 19 crisis. Great job samash! I very pleased with my purchase 👍Phil
Somewhat too large for an APX 600. The guitar can move around in it. Also needs a small pocket for picks/capo/etc. Otherwise good quality and low price point.Gary
Love the Yamaha guitar case! Fits my Yamaha FG-345 perfectly!Terry

It's a good quality for the price, I got it to help me with my liposuction it works so farusann_o1dhjjj
I bought this bag for an acoustic bass guitar as listed in the title. Be cautious of the size of this bag. It is almost a foot too small for a Bass Guitar. Nice product but will not/does not fit a bass as mentioned in description on title.travislikesit
It has good padding. Good price!marielyflores

Reviews:
A brilliantly well made high quality guitar case that I specifically purchased for travelling. I often use the electric part of the case for carrying clothes whilst I travelling. Back straps are adequate, strong and comfortable to walk long distance between venues. All together I'm well pleasedTrevor B.
The zippers on these bags are junk. they need to use heavier top notch zippers. the zipper on the smaller compartment areas is too small for real usage. Not sure why they just dont use the larger zipper on EVERYTHING. The a 3 point velcro rings for the tick bag should be 4 point (it sags on the single point if the tick bag is packed). where they strap at the top with 2 points is good, but its a bit wonky on the single strap in the middle because what happens is if you are carrying the guitar by the handle the tick bag sags down at that point a little bit. The guitar bags are kinda spendy but if you've invested into it, then the company should go the extra mile.I just wonder how much these guys have really travelled gig after gig with these bags. They are better than most out there though but also a lot more money too. I just think they need to use better zippers and add better/stiffer sidewalls for the guitar cases. My rig is heavy and wonder how long the guitar bag shoulder straps will last too. They seem sturdy, and so far so good. I play a Les Paul and the case could have stiffer sides for a heavier guitar. If you play a Strat or Tele then you're probably OK. Also, the smaller compartments are pretty much usesless too. they try to compartmenalize everything and all they need to do is keep it simple becuase NOTHING fits into the tight little spaces inside the pockets, unless you carry a lot of pens? I like spaces large enough for a couple extra pre-amp tubes, and slides but most of the inside pocket spaces are way too small for anything except, sharpies, or cable tips? . Someone who designed it must have carried a lot of pens/sharpies around because nothing else fits into them. I'd rather see a single zipper or velco space where you can just stuff everything itno it. Overall its a decent bag and better than most gig bags but these arent inexpensive either. The larger compartment could open a bit wider too. Its pretty small compared to the picture.effective.edge
Hands down this has been the best gig bag i have ever purchased and likely the last until it has to be replaced. I had previous cheaper versions and they were just that, cheap. This MONO bag has been a huge upgrade and im so happy i made the decision to get it. The linning inside makes sure the finish is well protected and the neck strap and support block are such a great insurance knowing guitar is not going to swing around in the space. The storage is great holding all my cable (both 1/4 inch and Kemper pedal cable) In ears, picks, spare strings and even having both guitars loaded (An ESP telecaster and PRS 7 string) its not a bad weight evenly distributed when strapped on your back. Outer shell is extremely well made and looks like its going to stand up to the road well. Bottom has rubber treads to set it on the ground without worry. If your looking at it but are scared of the price dont be, after your first set you will be glad you got itDaniel

It’s all about choices. Two for one. Fitz either my Es-335 and or es-330 with my les Paul along with cords stand Strap for a little more weight as the solid case for one guitar. Bulky but has lots of control. This is due to the case design wanting to naturally stand straight up.Nice for public bustle. Noticed on YouTube that there was a problem with the strings poking through the case. Problem solved very well redesigned. If it’s time for you to Evolve your transportation I highly recommend this.Jes
I own mono cases, and this is the only time I have been disappointed. The acoustic side of the case is amazing as expected, but the electric side is non functional. The electric side was so tight that I was genuinely concerned that my les Paul headstock would break from how tight the case was. The headstock of my guitar could be seen bulging from the case and was offered virtually no protection in case of a drop. You can easily tell that the electric sleeve was nothing more than an afterthought to the acoustic side. I always feel safe with my electric in any single mono case, but will never trust them in this dual case.Kev
I was excited when I saw that MONO was selling this. My needs are unique in that I walk, take a subway or bus to my music classes or jam sessions. So being able to carry an acoustic / electric would be a miracle. MF has a special so I bought. There are two storage compartments, one large and one small like most MONO cases and are a standard carryover. The acoustic compartment is nice and fit my acoustics nicely as I tried them. The electric was a huge disappointment. It is such a tight space that you have to use force to get your electric in. To make it even worse the electric side's zipper doesn't go all the way to the bottom so that last part is shoved in vs "placed" in. This is so tight that it fails tilt back headstocks like Gibsons, Epiphones and Hamers. You are buying an expensive case to protect a fragile instrument and this doesn't work for a class of guitars. I would describe this as an acoustic MONO case with an cheap MONO "guitar sleeve" fixed to the back. The electric size is nowhere near as protected as the acoustic side. The size walls are cushioned but unconstructed and not rigid. The material does not seem as sturdy as my MONO double bass case that I bought several years ago as well.MrPrytania
