I feel like this battery system is best used on guitars that don't already have a 9 volt battery. Final installation look super professional in all you need to half inch drill bit. The product is well made and I’m sure it will work once I figure out how to mount the parts. I’m putting this in an LTD Ec1001 with Fishman Fluance pick ups that were factory installed. The problem is room in the control cavity as well as the battery compartment. The pack that comes with this is not sized like a 9 volt and will not fit. As of yet, I haven’t figured out a good way to mount the parts. I’m sure when I do, I will love the ease of this.Iomminf2

The battery was almost fully charged when received. The initial power results are excellent, however the installation was not a perfect "Bolt-in". The battery fit in the slot just fine and clamped down well, but the terminals on the battery are much thinner than the original BMW battery. This meant that the offset of the cable terminals ended up being too short to reach the terminals. I had to do some bending of the cable terminals to force them to fit ( not beautiful, but still 100% functional ). Also the hardware that came with the battery ( bolts and screws ) were very small diameter ( looked wimpy ). The holes on the battery terminals were too small for the original BMW hardware, but there was plenty of room to drill the terminals out to fit the BMW hardware. This battery is supposed to have comparable power ( CCA ) to the BMW battery, but was very cheap in price comparison. Even if it lasted half as long, I'd still be ahead of the game.JSmittyJ

I played through this amp with the battery and with the AC adaptor, and with multiple guitars. Switched from clean to dirty and used my bridge and neck pickups with and without the coil tap. This amp isn't super loud at 5W, but it is an amp made for portability and practicing. Sounds awesome clean with the neck pickup single coil, and gets nasty dirty (a little too much with gain set anything past 6)with my bridge double humbucker. The sound is really quite good for this size amp. The tone control has a decent range of sounds to switch between. This little five watt amp has the heart of a Lion. Clean channel is from crisp and articulate to warm and wrap it up in a sweater goodness. The drive channel with the greater level of tone control can be any sound you want, truly. It's up to you. I drive this amp through a close backed cabinet of my own design made with plank spruce and 8" Jensen Mod 35 speakers. It sounds amazing. Rich full tone and great response to picking level (hit it hard and it'll bark at you. Soft and it will whisper too.) I bought this strictly for my bedroom but found it's much more. It gets loud enough for band practice on the dirty channel and the clean with the volume up gets a nice breakup. It handles pedals well in the loop or an overdrive out front. I don't care for the morph when it's fully left or right on the dirty channel but you get nice tones on the clean side. The attenuator is the reason I bought it and I love it. I A/B'd it with the ht5 and couldn't see spending the extra cash on the Blackstar. Then I A/B'd with my modded dsl15h on triode (7 watt) and it made me wonder how much of the signal is tube and how much is solid state, but I don't know if that's fair given the Marshall has 4 12ax7 and 2 6v6 tubes. Can't speak to durability yet but it seems well built, and I haven't used the emulated out. All in all I'd recommend it for the price and the featuresgbob61

The indio 10 amp that I received was flawless. It's construction is very solid. The clean channel doesn't color the sound but has treble/bass control for EQ. I don't use overdrive so I can't comment. That would be subjective to someone who does. It may be a sound that you've been looking for or you may hate it. I find that effects that I do not like work in certain situations. Also plug in a Mpow Bluetooth receiver and you have a Bluetooth speaker and with batteries it's portable. In my opinion this is a good value for the price.Mark
I was pleasantly surprised by how great of a small practice amp the Indio by Monoprice 10-watt battery powered portable 2-channel amp is. The amp that I received didn?t have any cosmetic defects, all the controls worked as expected, and the construction feels solid. I use a Monoprice 6 ft. guitar amp cable to connect my American Professional Telecaster to the amp and the sound levels and tone coming out of the amp?s speaker sounds good to my ears. I am a rough-in wireman and I love my m12 fuel tools for this. I bought 3 xc6.0 batteries to complement my cp2.0 and 1.5s. They still fit with my m12F hammer drill and impact drive in my dead on pouch. Awesome. After rotating everyday between my m18f and m12f one of my m12 6.0 batteries decided to die which is a pain since I now have to take batteries off the circular or hackzall. 66% reaching 6 months seems pretty dismal. My xc4.0 battery had lasted 5 years so I kind of scratch my head on this one. Not to mention Milwaukee needs to make their warranty process much more streamlined. PITA. Am I going to yellow? I bought this battery 10-13 months ago because it was the largest capacity m12 battery available to use with my M12 circular saw. I don’t use either much as I am a DIY’r and currently live in an apartment. Unfortunately after very few charges this battery no longer charges. I’ve tried different Milwaukee charges, different electrical outlets, and made sure the battery is fully seated into the charger. It simply flashes red/green. This is the second Milwaukee battery I’ve had an issue with. I have been a Milwaukee customer for at least 20 years but I feel now I am starting to see a possible decline in quality. I bought a total of 6 M12 6.0 batteries and literally 5 out of the 6 in the end have failed me and wont charge with the red and green flashing lights after charging for 10 sec etc (as they each had 1 or more of the 3 banks of 2 18650 cells inside of them fail with the voltage dropping too low/lower then the other 2 banks upon testing – assuming at least 1 actual battery cell failed in each pack) I already threw away or gave away 1 or 2 of these failed packs in frustration but im literally not joking when i say that i only have one remaining XC 6.0 pack that hasnt failed yet and still miraculously charges properly (most of the time) THIS HAS ONLY BEEN AN ISSUE ON THE XC 6.0 PACKS (and i dont own any, but i believe the compact CP 3.0 packs used the same bunk Samsung Q30 18650 cells that fail as well) Fortunately ive NEVER ever ever had a single charging issue from any of my other M12 batteries, which are all compact ones.. mostly CP 2.0 which all still work great and ive never had an issue with any of my M18 batteries… but sadly all of my extended capacity M12 batteries are now bunk trash (i regrettably got rid of my XC4.0s when i upgraded to 6.0s for all of my larger extended 12 volt packs) and now all of my extended size M12 packs (all 6.0s) are useless after owning them for less than a year. Some of them started to fail and not charge after only a couple uses, which is completely unacceptable. I finally did my research on this issue and everyone is experiencing the same thing with these XC 6.0 and CP 3.0 packs that were fitted with these faulty Samsung Q30 cells. Milwaukee supposedly replaced them with different brand cells that wont fail but i have not confirmed this at all and its very likely that if you buy one of these 6.0 packs you will be getting the bunk samsung cells as most if not all of the 6.0 packs that were produced and are still in inventory all over the place were fitted with them. MILWAUKEE NEEDS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. As far as im concerned this should be a class action lawsuit and ANYONE with a XC6.0 or CP3.0 pack that has the crap Samsung Q30 cells inside of them, SHOULD BE REPLACED BY MILWAUKEE NO QUESTIONS ASKED, regardless of whether they still have a receipt or how long it's been since they were purchased, PERIOD. I have sunk so much money on and spread so much free advertising and good reviews for Milwaukee power tools to everyone i ever see that i should be sponsored by them… the least they could do is make good on this one big epic fail they have had on a major scale in recent history. I actually use this battery in my work van. Along with a fairly large inverter, this battery fulfills and backs a combination of important tasks such as battery charging for power tools, pushing a large vacuum cleaner, handle the enormous draw of a heat gun, jamming to my downloaded music at every stop, and finally still having the ability to crank up the van itself to drive home. On a daily basis if I must go to work then so must the systems I have in this van. I searched on line for this battery to find out which store would have it in stock. When I found it the page said of I'd give them my email I'd save $50.00. So I gave up the email. I go to the store to pick it up and find out the the stores price was 50 bucks cheaper than the online price. It was a wash but they made it look like if I gave up my email address to them I'd save the 50 bucks. The reality is they jacked up the online price and faked a discount. Im sure this a a quality battery. I have a Moultrie solar panel for maintaining a trail cam. I watched a YouTube video detailing replacing the battery to restore functionality. He detailed the battery he used, which is this one, but it turned out to be for a 6V solar panel for a deer feeder. The solar panel for a trail cam is 12V. Bearing in mind the two batteries in use were identified best used by 2013, I have no idea when they were purchased, I thought it best to replace and did. Out of interest I checked those in use and found them still to be ok. I started with the 4 in one kit that came with 2 batteries, drill, skill saw, sawzall and flashlight. I then added an impact driver to my arsenal. After a few years and several charges one of the original batteries stopped accepting charge so I went and bought a drill kit with a 1/2 in chuck on it to accept bigger bits, the 18 volt has plenty of power, that came with 2 batteries. After a while I was down to 1 battery again so I bought 2 "reconditioned" ones from Lowes, these didn't last long, maybe a year. Which brings me to these. I had a dilemma on my hands do I shell out $500+ and start over with the 20 volt porter cable since the 18 volt has been "fazed out" or hunt for a few more batteries. So far these batteries are holding up; however, we are in the early stages of their usage. I hope to have a year or two of service out of them.2011imesd
The-y work great for me. I put one in my Porter Cable reciprocating saw, after fully charging it, so I could cut back some invasive shrubs at the main stalk/trunk (1 to 2" diameter). Purchased an M18 Fuel Quik-Loc String Trimmer(49-16-2717), edger and hedge trimmer separately. The M18 XC8.0 battery that came with it will not take a charge over 3 bars after 5 uses. The FREE (@ HD) XC5.0 battery (48-11-1850) lasts longer and is still charging to 4 bars. I have over 15 different Milwaukee batteries of varying model years and I have never had an issue like this. I have tried several different chargers on the XC8.0 and nothing will get it to charge over 3 bars.Mutaint
I purchased this battery in February 2021 from a local Home Depot store. It was manufactured 10th week of 2020. It's main use has been on a Fuel oscillating multi tool during a bathroom remodel. I was happy with how the battery performed. However, recently I observed the battery would not charge past 3 bars. This was attempted on multiple chargers both showing green as if the battery is fully charged. My 4 other 5.0 batteries have had no issues with charging. Reading other battery reviews, this appears to have occurred in other batteries. I'm hoping this is an isolated problem with the 8.0 battery and an easy fix. Looking to see how Milwaukee and E-Service will perform and troubleshoot this. I'm a new power tool owner and spent a lot of money to get into the Fuel and M18 lines. Date code 201019. Battery is dead from running in the handheld vac. Immediately has 2 bars on the charger. Is at 4 bars in less than 5 minutes. After 15 minutes flashing green as if fully charged. I'm having some bad luck with Milwaukee batteries. To date, M18 9.0 dead (replaced with this 8.0), M18 12.0 dead but out of warranty period, M18 8.0 on the way out. I’ve been vaping since Boba’s Bounty was the best ejuice (Google it youngsters) so I have tried EVERY single battery out there. The HOHM Life batteries are, absolutely HANDS DOWN, the best 18650 batteries for vaping ever made. Don’t listen to these review sites…I have brand new Molicel P26As, M35As, Sony VTC4, 5s, 6s, LG HE, HGs, Samsung 20s, 25s, pink 30s, Efest 30 purples, Vapecell purple, gold and even the blue Tesla 18650s and NO BATTERY I’ve ever used compares to the HOHM Life 18650. I run at 140w @ .2 and a set lasts me twice as long as any other with no loss of power at the end of the cycle. Not true H life brand these don't hold a charge and as soon as you use them for a few minutes go dead. They don't charge on car portables correctly or chargers. I charged all afternoon in car then put in vape and got 2 puffs before battery was dead. So I charged at desk all day and got 30 mins use before dead. Wasn't sure about this little guy – – but the one I received was in pristine shape, with power brick and carry handle. I power it with 6 rechargeable AA Lithium batteries – and it'll run x 6 hours easy without recharging. I play an acoustic guitar (i installed a Fishman rare earth pickup) in a small orchestra with a piano, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, etc, and only need to run at about 35% max volume to blend in well with the group. I've taken up giving lessons in my home and, in other locations and, dragging around even a moderate size amp was not in my plans. I did some shopping and, came up with the Micro Cube as my answer, WOW what a feature filled little powerhouse! I debated going to just a plain small practice amp but, after I tried one it reminded me of trying to play through an old transistor radio. Very bland boring sound and, only a push button to get an overdrive sound that sounded pretty bad. This Roland unit sounds Fantastic at 3w and, with only a 5" speaker, I don't know how they do it but, it's Great!! The convenience of battery power is something that I really enjoy also. Take it anywhere! The FX sound Super, amp models are a nice touch and, even a tuner. The 1/8" input is a nice touch to jam with backing tracks or any type of sounds. Taking this to lessons is sooo much more handier than a 30lb. amp. There is only a tone control but, it is really all you need to get the sound you want. The memory function is a handy feature so save preset sounds for each amp model. The only thing I haven't tried is to plug a Mic in and, check it out but, I definately will and, I'm betting that the results will be positive there also. I'm soooo glad I spent the extra dinero and, went with this amp. I'm very satisfied and, definately recommend this anyone looking for small portable amp for practice or any other reason to have a light weight amp that sounds really good. I don't think that I would run a bass through it but, at low volume I wouldn't be surprised that it could handle it. In general this is a great little amp. It is loud, but its frequency range is narrow. I would expect something so small to be weak on bass, but I am surprised at how poor the high frequency is. I have to turn the tone all the way up to make it sound like a regular amp. I will try different speakers and the line out into a different amp to see if the poor high end is either the speaker or amp. The headphone output sounds much better, so I believe the issue is not in the internal electronics. In general I would recommend this amp. So much that I am buying another to give to my son in college as a dorm amp. He is interested in the headphone feature, which sounds very good. As a practice amp this little thing does a great job. The effects are better on some settings than others. but I think there are more effects on this amp than other brands. The portability is great. The battery life it pretty good for how loud it is. With the line input you can not only play along to songs, unaffected by the guitar effects, but it turns your phone into a loud jam box. I bought this amp to use in a limited space and at a low volume for very low cost. It obviously doesn't compare to a normal size amp in quality but for being a practice amp it is perfect. Many reviews across the web say it loses power or sounds bad after a short time, but its literally as simple as changing the battery in my case. The manual even says to change the battery if there is an issue with sound, and the battery that comes with it isn't really the best and doesn't last long. It has great sound at a low and mid range volume for the little power it actually has but when you ramp it up it does sound a little distorted but not bad at all for $23-$29. While you certainly could use it in the studio for certain alt/auxiliary tones and/or layers and achieve fantastic results (producer/artist discretion advised), It's not meant for that. It's meant purely for being able to enjoy playing electric, untethered, while wandering about randomly and/or practicing. …Whether outdoors or indoors. …At home, in the park, around the neighborhood, at a camp site or a BBQ, wherever. Perhaps even during your breaks at work. It's not meant for playing in a full band situation (especially with drums), nor is it meant for getting a half-stack sound (or even normal combo-amp sound), for a fraction of the price, during a high-end studio session or full-on concert. mini-amp works great as a travel amp, or playing early in the am when ppl are sleeping lol it fits perfectly inside my hardcase, along with my electric guitar, headphones, tuner, cables, etc. performs as expected.. dont look to be amazed at its performance lol but for practice/travel its the perfect amp. has a heavy grind for chunky metal riffs. doesnt pick up the p[inch harmonics that great, but they do come through. the clean setting is great, too, and for a tiny little fkr it really kicks pretty good! had my finacee yelling at me to "turn that fkn thing down!" so, lol, it hits pretty hard for a small little guy.. but like i said, dont expect it to put out the tones of a line 6 spider IV or a Marsall half-stack cuz it aint capable for that. it isnt designed for gigs lol so dont expect that kinda sound. but, i love this mini-amp; its my new best friend!da.davc.mcoumykeiu
