This is a beautiful sturdy gig bag and I have no complaints about quality. But the size stated in the review is "48.8 inches exterior length" and the bag is actually 42 inches exterior length – which is just the few extra inches I needed to fit my new Ibanez Mezzo Bass. This bag fits a micro bass, but not a 32 inch scale bass. Of course Musicians Friend replaces, refunds, returns beautifully so no worries. Hope they sell a gig bag that fits!Size Matters

This is just what I needed for a very beat up EB-0 that I've been carrying around lately. It's much nicer than I expected. Very strong, thick material, nicely stitched, somewhat padded. Certainly much better that wrapping in a blanket as I have been doing. The logo on mine is different than the one pictured. Instead of the stylized E, mine has a large "Epiphone" written lengthwise on the bag. I like this better in fact but either looks good to me. Never thought that I'd spend money on a gig bag instead of just buying a real case, but for $20 this is just right. Recommend it.

I ordered 2 ChromCast Padded Gig Bags for my Telecaster and LesPaul guitars. The build quality of ChromCast products is consistently excellent, made with heavy duty material and zipper. The bottom of the bag has a rubber bumper which adds protection to the instrument. Some other brands don?t have this feature. Inside the bag, the padding is thick enough to absorb shock while the lining material is smooth and soft as silk for your precious guitar. It also has a Velcro strap to hold down the neck. My kids (ages 9 and 11) got guitars as gifts a year ago. They have been taking beginner guitar lessons for a year now. The guitars originally came with very thin guitar bags with no padding. Great starter bag, would recommend to anyone getting a beginner going on an acoustic. I bought this bag for a Fender Squire acoustic and it fits perfectly! The padding is good, but you will still need to handle the guitar carefully when in the bag. The straps are nice and the bag its self is well made with great pockets and handles. I would buy a hard case if kids are intendinf on traveling with it. The strap is pretty basic, and is cheaply made but will hold up fine for the introductory period until we decide to upgrade. Overall: See title. I own two gig bags from World Tour. One is an older model and the other is this one. Both are great. They offer a good bit of protection and they aren't too expensive. The materials feel very durable. Other gig bags cost double this and aren't as good. I highly recommend World Tour gig bags to anyone. Overall: This bag obviously is not the high dollar type of case. However, the material is much better than i had imagined. Relatively thick canvas and solid material. I am especially impressed with the zippers which are very good and give you confidence when opening and closing the bag. I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones. The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me. All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. I had a hard case for my Epiphone Firebird. It was all wood and a real vertebrae snapper. A friend needed a case for a custom bass he made, so I sold him the Firebird hard case. I then acquired the 20mm soft case for fire bird guitars. It fit my Firebird like a glove. The entire package is now easier to carry. It is very lightweight rugged fabric with very minimal padding. I would consider this more for storage than serious gigs. would work fine for the occasional outing. All said and done, it is a keeper. I needed a case for my daughters x-mas present, an Epiphone Les Paul special. I was trying to be thrifty because good gig bags are expensive and these were on sale for really cheap. I figured since this gig bag was for a miKro bass, it would be long enough for a normal guitar. I wasn't sure if it would fit, so my plan was to give my daughter my current gig-bag if her guitar wouldn't fit into this ibanez miKro gigbag. Then I would just use the Ibanez miKro gigbag for my travel guitar -which I have no problem hacking up to fit. Well, the Ibanez miKro came and it is of great quality. There are three great pockets for storage, shoulder straps, padding'o'plenty, and it is long enough for a normal guitar. It is NOT wide enough for a normal guitar. I could not close the zipper with either an epiphone les paul special, or a squier strat inside. So I had to go with my backup plan. I gave my daughter my travel guitar gig-bag and I cut a little wood off of my travel squier strat so it would fit inside the ibanez miKro bass gig bag.KC
Nice padded gig bag. I especially like the external reinforcement with feet on the bottom end. I had the end strap button on another bass eventually poke through the end of the gig bag for that bass. It won't happen with this bag! I also like the 3 outside compartments. One is big enough for music books! And shoulder straps are always appreciated.B-Man

I think the price of guitar cases are totally inflated and to get one on sale is something one has to do to stretch the dollar. Okay, that being said, this case fits my China made Fender strat Squier to a tee. The eye catching tweed fits the Fender vibe. If you noticed my cons was durability i.e. the cases tweed look is attractive, but you wonder as road gigs pile up if the tweed doesnt start to tear and expose the raw components exterior of the case underneath? If they had lacquered the tweed exterior, the case itself would have a fighting chance to slip and slide into vans and carriage areas with little thought of rips and tears it would acquire in a short time. Again, I dont gig much these days, but if I was looking at a case long term that could withstand the road, this case would questionable unless you "handle with care" when you transport and load and unload your gear.James R
I didn't feel like spending over $200 and waiting until who knows when, for a Gibson Explorer case, so I picked one of these up. For the money, it's a good case. I carry my guitars with me to shows, so they are always in my vehicle, so this case does the job. I will say it feels a tad more sturdy than the Gator version of this case, and it's slightly smaller, which is a good thing given how large an Explorer case has to be. The only improvement I could wish for, is to make it tad smaller still. There's still several inches of room from the headstock to the edge of the case. I purchased this knowing that it wouldn't be a super durable road case but adequate for storage and playing out now and then. In those ways, it met my expectations. The case is made of very thin plywood, but not so flimsy that it can't function as a good light duty case. The hardware appears to be of decent quality and all of the latches lined up well. The lining was neatly applied and actually fairly soft and plush. It is a universal fit case, so I wasn't expecting it to be completely form fitting to my Telecaster. It will move around a bit in the case when you transport it. It could use better neck support, as well. But overall, not bad for the price. Where this product really came up short is with the application of the tweed covering. The tweed was applied over wood chips and small voids in the wood frame. No effort was made in sanding or prepping the wood prior to applying the cover material. This is only cosmetic, but looks really sloppy and substandard. Maybe I just got a rough one. I didn't expect perfection at this price, but I don't think this case ever should have left the factory like this.Pat

I had a hard case for my Epiphone Firebird. It was all wood and a real vertebrae snapper. A friend needed a case for a custom bass he made, so I sold him the Firebird hard case. I then acquired the 20mm soft case for fire bird guitars. It fit my Firebird like a glove. The entire package is now easier to carry. While wood cases are durable, they can pull your arm out of its socket. I recommend a soft case because they will not kill you.lmssrc

Overall: See title. I own two gig bags from World Tour. One is an older model and the other is this one. Both are great. They offer a good bit of protection and they aren't too expensive. The materials feel very durable. Other gig bags cost double this and aren't as good. I highly recommend World Tour gig bags to anyone. As a heads up, my short scale bass is able to fit in this deluxe electric guitar bag. I am so happy. The next time I need a gig bag, I will get another one from World Tour.Marshall
Overall: This bag obviously is not the high dollar type of case. However, the material is much better than i had imagined. Relatively thick canvas and solid material. I am especially impressed with the zippers which are very good and give you confidence when opening and closing the bag. It will keep your guitar from sun, rain and water, and relatively light conditions. But this is NOT a protective bag. It is a carry all. It has one pocket to hold your extra stuff that's a pretty good size with two zippers. I would definitely buy another one especially at this price. The bag came with my order of a guitar and fit it perfectly (a Gretsch G5220) Basically, it will just about fit any solid body guitar from a Les Paul to a Strat. Solid purchase in my opinion.Michael
I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones. The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me. All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. Zippers feel good, they're big and bulky, definitely high quality! You're getting quite a lot of value for the price this gig bag sells for! I've read terrible reviews and seen pictures of big brand gig bags (some of which retail for 2-3 times the price of this one, so I went with this one and can't recommend it enough!Oscar
