Reviews:
Bought the Polytune 3 to replace the Polytune 2 on my board because I wanted the buffer without having to use a separate buffer pedal. First thing I noticed out of the box was that the Polytune 3's screen is only 60-70% as bright as the Polytune 2. Returned it and got a replacement; same thing. I spoke to TC Electronic and they confirmed that this is indeed a design change in the Polytune 3 because some people were complaining that the 2 was too bright (wow, I guess a lot of complaining people don't do outdoor gigs). Go figure. At all levels of the built in light sensor, the 3 is dimmer than the 2, including outside full brightness. Boo. This is a deal breaker for me as the Polytune 2's screen & brightness were perfect. The new one is too dim and hard to see from eye level, and other LED's on my board are actually brighter than the Polytune 3's display, which is distracting. So so disappointing as this could have been perfect. Such a puzzling decision on the part of TC Electronic. A much better solution would have been to make the brightness switchable between two modes if that really was an issue. I mean really: who wants a dimmer, harder to see screen? Especially outside in sunlight. They took one of the industry standard tuners and upgraded it with a switchable buffer, but downgraded it because the screen is dim. Going back to my Polytune 2 with separate buffer pedal.Tommy
Don't know how well it works yet. This is not ready to use out of the box unless you happen to already have a 9v DC power supply. Not sure if it will take a 9v battery because a specific hex wrench is necessary to open the unit. It would be helpful to have this information on a retailer's website to alert potential buyers.Steve
Does everything it says it does. I only have two complaints and two suggestion: 1) Tuning in poly mode seems to have you tune everything slightly sharp. I tuned all strings in poly first and then when switching to a single string to fine tune, ever single was string was just a hair sharp. I don't know if poly mode is accurate and single string mode is flat or vice versa, but that's a minor gripe. You can use poly mode to get close and single string mode to get every string perfect. 2) There is no way to "lock" the pedal in one mode or the other. You strum all strings for poly mode or one string for the other mode and the pedal automatically switches between modes. The problem is that you have to be sure ALL of the other strings are muted/completely silent to keep the pedal in single string mode. If you even accidentally bump another string while trying to tune a single string, the pedal will switch back to poly mode. It would be nice if there was a way to keep the pedal in one mode or the other to avoid inadvertently switching back and forth. Second suggestion, I wish there was a way to dim the display. When they say this pedal has an ultra-bright LED display, they mean it has an ULTRA-bright LED display. You could probably tune your guitar in low earth orbit with this pedal. That's fine in bright lighting or daylight, but at night or on a darkened stage, something that bright tends to affect my vision for a few minutes. Other than that, I found the pedal intuitive and easy to use. The only thing I had to refer to the manual for was to find out how to switch between alternate tunings. There is a TINY little button near the input jack and I missed it when just holding the pedal and giving it a quick once over. The pedal does not affect your tone in any noticeable way, even when you have your volume way up. The footswitch is smooth and there's no audible pop (either on the pedal or through your amp) when switching the tuner on and off.Heavyarms

Reviews:
I could spend all day yapping about this pedal…In my travels i've tried countless pedals, but got tired of having 'too many' pedals. The weight, the time it took to hook it all up. I also busk, or play where electricity isn't available, and wanted a setup where i could make one trip with everything, and keep the weight down. I've always been a fan of ZOOM products, so trying out the Multistomp series was a no-brainer for me. The 50G met all my requirements, and exceed them all after i got one and started using it. Tones that are as good as any higher priced pedal, the versatility is second to none, and the price is killer for what this pedal can do. I would say the the Bluetooth version was my favorite, then the 70CDR, then the 50G, with the 50G's new 3.0 update, the 50 G is now my favorite pedal…period. The 50G started with maybe 50 patches, now it has 172, and best of all it has the Exciter patch, which to me is required on any pedal board. All i can suggest is watch the countless demo videos of this pedal. I would recommend this pedal for any level of guitarist, i would also recommend the MS-70CDR, watch the demo videos of the 70-CDR vs Strymons…amazing I cant say enough good things about the 50G, i believe it's near the perfect all around pedal. The Multistomp series are easily, in my opinion, the best bang for the buck pedals madeLocorogue
The MS-50G pedal is first class. It is every bit as clean, quiet, and well built as the Boss pedals. It is not a replacement for the Boss line. Zoom pedals have a character of their own. Personally, I like the Zoom tone. But I'm not a guitar player. There is a great ~15 minute YouTube instructional video for the MS-50G. I got over the learning curve for writing and storing effects by watching this video, then I bought pedal. It replaces several pieces of my high quality studio gear when I need fast results that are of high level audio quality. Zoom delivers with this product. After I watched this video I purchased the pedal. I also like my G1X as a companion to this pedal. The G1X has a nice volume/expression pedal.Sean
I needed something for my living room and practicing while watching TV late at night without a full pedal board or multi-effects box. This along with a Boss RC-3 and a mini mixer for my wireless headphones provides everything I have in my studio at a mini level. The sounds are good enough. There are enough options in sound to play most anything. Eventually I'll try this little beast as a sub for my full pedal board and see how it works in a live jam. One pedal to do everything. It's not perfect but it is great. I wish Zoom would provide updates to it and a better manager. It's pretty old by today's standards and if Zoom provided updated files they would sell even more if these great little boxes. B&H had the best deal available and as always they provide excellent service. Thank you B&H. I'll Be Back, lolThomas G

Finalmente! Costruito in maniera super robusta. Grandi Banana per la velocità!Renato B.
Defective right out of the box. I love the Ernie Ball Vp Jr and I've tried most volume pedals on the market. EB VP has the best sweep but I literally have to replace it every 1-2 years. I assumed after this long in the game that their new upgraded pedal would be great and it doesn't even work from the start. Technically speaking, the volume pedal part works fine so far but the tuner/volume screen has gone out 3 times in less than 30 minutes.Andrew O
I was looking for a tuner and a volume pedal to add to my board when I stumbled across this combination pedal. Great idea! This device accomplishes both while saving a spot on the board. The large display is easy to see even on a dark stage between tunes. Robust construction give confidence that it will be durable for years to come. There is no extraneous noise and little to no alteration in overall tone when used in the front of my board. It's only been 3 months but so far I couldn't be happier with this device!Jbass222

Reviews:
This is going to be a marmite product – if you only plays Chicago blues you are going to struggle to find a use. However if you enjoy playing many other styles, it adds to your tone pallet. Gut feeling is it will take practice to get more than swoop up/down Morello impersonations- it's like a new instrument at my feet. As pitch shifters go it has impeccable tracking and wealth of features. It covers several other Digitech products in one rather large red box – going to need a bigger pedal board. One feature is the warbleless chorus. All that richness without the whooshing. Another feature is the fixed pitch shifting which lets it be used as a virtual capo. I can think of many occasions when that would have been of use.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
I use this only sparingly, but it is so awesome to be able to transpose my guitar a half step up or a half step down in seconds to play songs in the key our singer requests while keeping proper fingering and not needing addtional, alternately tuned guitars. Does an awesome job tracking, but again, I only go a half step up or down, so the sound quality is still really good….sure beats the hassle of bringing several guitars and having to switch. We tune a half step down, and I use it for this purpose on few of the songs we perform at gigs. I have this first in line, right after my guitar, so it works extremely well for whammy and drop/raise tuning applications, but since it is not in an effects loop, the harmony option doesn't sound good. I run this into the front of my Soldano SLO100. I also love the whammy side on rare occasion, to throw in a wild noise ,,,or if I'm ever asked to play any Rage Against the Machine songs. Again, I use it very rarely/sparingly, but I highly recommend and I love having it on my board for when I do use it.Al
This pedal is terrific. Very easy to learn and intuitive. It has two sides: on the left, you have your whammy/harmony effects, with some nice chorus-y sounding detune effects thrown in for good measure. On the right, you have your detune effects where you can go up or down seven semitones, or a full octave higher or lower, with or without dry signal. This means you can instantly take your standard tuned guitar down to C, or B, or hell, even A if you're TRVLY CVLT. You can play an octave lower with dry signal and voila, you now have a bassline running underneath your guitar. I bought this pedal because I love whammy effects, and originally was going to buy the Whammy 5, but this is that pedal PLUS the detune effects. This is especially useful with Floyd Rose or other floating bridge guitars. We all know what a pain in the @$$ those things are to tune.kdbrown777

Reviews:
I use my Korg Pitchblack Mini Tuner to tune both electric and acoustic-electric guitars. So… this is my 1st pedal tuner. I don't have anything to compare it to, but my SNARK and the tuning app on my smart phone. Anyhow, it gets the job done fairly effectively. I also like how it cuts off the signal from my amp when I use it. As for the cons, it uses three 3 volt batteries, which doesn't seem to make it function at 100%. Luckily, it works perfectly w/ a DC9V. Also, in my experience, it's not as easy to tune the low E string in comparison to the other 5 strings. Aside from those 2 things, I'm satisfied with my purchase.Jaime The Tenor
I love the size of this tuner. Fits perfectly in with my basses and offers great display options (Half Strobe being my favorite). The colors chosen are great and the note display large and bold. My only complaint is that this uses (2) CR2032 batteries and the battery cover door was fun to open (it doesn't come off which is good, but you need to know that). Adding a couple spare batteries doesn't take up much room either. Love the little details (feet that turn out to stabilize, external 9v jack, modes).Kevin L.
The KORG Pitchblack PB01 pedal tuner is the greatest thing since sliced bread. This is much easier to use than the flimsy clip-on type tuners. You don't have to use it on the floor; just place the tuner on a table and plug in your guitar. It is easy to tune up this way. I really think this tuner is great…I also ordered the newer version as well. Again, stop fumbling with the clip-on type tuners. This is the way to go: KORG Pitchblack pedal tuners. I'm a happy customer. You should be too.greg k.

Reviews:
I've had this pedal for about maybe 5 months, great pedal. The best thing to do is to always read your manual because this particular pedal shuts off. That feature is to save you battery power, or just being on too long when you walk away. I hadn't gotten use to that at first. It pays to read the manual to figure out how to do it. But the Selections in where the layout is for the different tones, for rock and roll, blues, heavy metal, and R&B is it great pedal.astringmusic
It' easy to blow an afternoon exploring the wide variety of sounds this pedal can produce. While many of the effects are great there are quite a few duds mixed in there. You just have to play. There doesn't seem to be that much logic as to how the effects are grouped. You really need to write down your favorites. Out of 100 effects I think almost anyone can find 20 that they really like. Great pedal for the money.Lenny G.
The Stomplab has some very good patches right out of the box better than most MultiFX units. I rarely get to say that. Since I like to try them all, I think it excels in areas that can outdo expensive pedals. The amps sound really realistic and have beefy snappy mids right in your face with great projection and pop. The tones are designed to sound good as you play with EQ settings the amps seem to stay in the zone of what you would expect an actual amp would do. The best way to really experience this is to plug into a Hi Fidelity home stereo etc. and listen to how detailed the mix is. There is a Tube Screamer that seems to actually enhance just about every amp you try it with when trying to get some edge. The clean amps are some of the best out of the box tube gain style sparkling U2 like rhythms with clearly defined picking separation. This is probably about as good as it gets for these type sounds. Very metal like ballading with chorus and delay. Def Leppard Bringing on the Heartache or Photagraph come off terrific. The crunch sounds are very realistic and the US Hi Gain is about as good as it gets for 80s Metal. I can compare this to the VT Plus series because I have it. This pedal sounds good and really excels with a Tube amp. The VT Plus is a tube hybrid and the 12ax7 single tube does add a touch of edge as it is cranked but the pedal is the same Engine and the edge is subtle and the Tube Screamer SIM sounds close. Any sound can be had and it records from the line out with very good definition. Most of the amp sims are very good with little tweaking and I think it has the most good amp Sims of any other multi fx unit. Has way more variables than the VT Plus amp series and it is one of my favorites for downright realistic amp sounds. Hard to believe it but, it stacks up well against the bigger floorboards in respect to tone alone. More controls on the bigger units sometimes can take you too far off base. It really is well designed and keeps you sounding good.

Reviews:
I've had mine now for the better part of a year, countless rehearsals and a growing list of gigs. It does everything all the previous reviews have already documented. But I'll add something not yet mentioned… mine was producing very noticeably weird two tone sounds when I had it plugged into the power supply box on my pedalboard, I've heard they draw a lot of power so I instead routed with a Trutone 1 Spot AC adapter to the AC power strip also affixed to my board (see photo) and that seems to have resolved the problem. Hope this helps anyone having that same issue. I like this pedal a lot… it is a very useful tool to have, from practicing and learning songs, to rehearsals and gigs too.
Preface, I use this with an acoustic violin fitted with a BTS pickup (dual piezos/string), OR with a Greek steel stringed laouto to immediately change from standard tuning to a 5th lower (Cretan, Southern Aegean tuning). Pros – This is a mentality saver. You can be a fantastic musician, able to transpose well, yet regardless of the instrument you are using, and still get a little tripped up when you need to switch course and play in some oddball key. Voila! Drop! I learned about this pedal from a class A1 violin player from Greece (composer, lyricist and recording artist who has recorded with just about every big name- this person is no joke, message me for his name if interested). This person can transpose to any weird key you throw at him, why use it? His response? "Because when I'm on stage and I need to switch quickly to an odd key, I can simply hit the button and not have to think about it". So I gave it a try, and have been using it for 2 years now… it's a life saver. I'm just a fiddler, but this saves me from stressing out and I can play free and it sounds GREAT. It tracks so well I can't tell if there is any latency at all. Cons- With my current setup, I find that I need to either play in front of a monitor or near a speaker or use IEM's, as when playing through the pedal with an acoustic instrument, obviously you are going to hear the natural AND the modified sounds and you ARE going to think it sounds like garbage, then attempt to junk it. DONT DO IT! Unless your pedal is defective, your sound from the speakers is clean. This pedal is meant to be used with mainly electric instruments. During sound check, as loud as you can be, you'll still hear the acoustic sound of your instrument, yet once you are playing with the full band (depending on what your band consists of), it will eventually drown out the sound, and you'll be able to focus on your modified tone, but this is not consistent. Just be aware. If you can, I suggest using some sort of IEM system, wired or wireless, or a monitor. My next step is getting an electric violin body to use this tool even more effectively, but moreso in order to truly utilize my pickup. In a nutshell: Do it!pazarinyc
Sound: Unbelievable how well this pedal track's notes and cords with no noticable latency, IMO it sounds better than tuning down. Features: It's a tank ! Sturdy , Solid , Heavy for it's size , no instructions needed , plug and play Ease of Use: This is simple , Standard tuned guitar , twist the knob to earth shaking low's. Quality: As mentioned , it's a tank , solid construction. Value: I hesitated on this purchase because of the price for a one trick pedal , Worth every penny ! Manufacturer Support: I have several DigiTech products , I still have the old RP-1 and it function's like new , I have no doubt this pedal will give me many year's of service. The Wow Factor: I prefer to play my guitars in standard tune , it's always been a hassle to get the right string tension when drop tuning , this pedal just ended that problem for me Overall: Just unboxed this pedal, been playing it for 2hrs , bar none the best pedal I've ever played ! Keeping the guitar in standard tune and dropping it to two whole steps , the notes and cords track perfectly ! No more floppy strings and no more switching guitars, the pedal is a must have for anyone who plays multiple drop tunings. This pedal is a tank solid heavy construction.Dennis
9. Boss Ge-7 Graphic Equalizer Pedal

Product Details:
The ge7 has 7 bands ranging from 100hz to 6.4khz, ideal for guitar sounds, with boost/cut of +/- 15db per band. this lets you completely control your sound and eliminate unwanted feedback, particularly when connected after a distortion effect. h3about boss pedals/h3the history of boss reads like the history of guitar effects. from their legendary ce-1 chorus pedal (the big gray box that started it all) to the world's favorite line of compact pedals, they've been responsible for more guitar innovations than just about anyone else. boss's compact pedal line-up began in 1977 with the classic od-1 overdrive. its warm, smooth overdrive sounds and breakthrough boss pedal features (heavy-duty construction, rubber pads on top and bottom, recessed control knobs, silent switching, a built-in led, and easy battery replacement) immediately set it apart from other stomp boxes on the market. it established the masterful design for all other boss effects pedals since. throughout the years, boss has continued to define the cutting edge of guitar effects. double-layer circuit boards allowed pedals like the dd-5 digital delay to deliver studio-quality effects comparable to rackmount units. they recently brought bassists and guitarists the first bass synthesizer in a compact pedal, the syb-3. on their 20th anniversary they proudly introduced the od-3 overdrive, a pedal that takes the smooth, dynamic overdriven tones of the legendary od-1 to a different level. like all boss products, it is a level of sound quality and durability that is unrivaled.

They have gotten expensive over the years (along with everything else) but it's history and reputation speaks for itself. I've had various Boss pedals over the course of 30 years and I have never, ever, not once had one that failed or malfunctioned. I wanted a cheaper alternative but what made me commit to this pedal, once again, was it's true bypass/buffer capabilities. I'm using this one differently than I've customarily have used them in the past. This is to be used in a pedalboard dedicated to an electrified Kalimba (pictured below). I'll be wiring it up soon. The Boss is the ONLY new pedal that will be on that board. All that are there now I've had sitting for years and decided to put them to use.Christopher
Perhaps EQ is not the most exciting of pedals compared to other effects, but this really does make an enormous difference to your sound and help you get the best from the rest of your gear. Boost the mids to stand out from bass. Scoop the mids and boost bass/treble to sound like Metallica. Use the independent Level control as an overall volume boost (or limit – but who wants that?!) Extremely easy to set up and configure, in Boss's usual bullet-proof format. Highly recommended.Steve M.
Brilliant on-the-spot tone-shaping tool. Opens up virtually infinite sound possibilities, very handy when stacking overdrives with some or a lot of overlap in their tonal voicings. Also great for approximating the tones of completely different styles of pickups. Small adjustments tend to work best, a subtle nudge of the slider in the problematic frequency band is often all you need. Equally, you can throw that out and morph the tonal profile to something incredibly different. After my tuner it's hands-down the most indispensable pedal on my board. Allows me to shape the one tone control on the Pro Junior IV into even more harmonic/percussive/airy/creamy/bell-like territory. Been guitaring more or less 20 years now and i could probably count on one hand the amount of reviews I've been compelled to write, if that's an indicator of how game-changing the GE-7 has been to the fundamental way in which i dial in a tone.Mark

Product Details:
Boss tu3 chromatic pedal tuner the tu-3 chromatic tuner from boss is a stompbox-style instrument tuner that runs on a 9 volt battery or from ac power. you can plug in any type of guitar or bass and have its output plugged into an amplifier or another pedal. it offers precise and quick tuning with its 21-segment led meter and note display. for over a decade, the boss tu-2 was one of the most popular tuners in the world. the tu-3 carries on the tradition, and adds many useful features that make it even easier to use. with the push of a button you can change the tu-3's operational mode to handle flat tuning guitars, 6 string basses, and more. the brightness of its leds can be changed to be seen in direct sunlight. there are two separate outputs on the tu-3. one mutes the signal so no sound gets outputted when tuning. the other output doesn't mute the signal. both outputs can be used at the same time, allowing you to pass the instrument's signal to more than one source. the tu-3 also features a dc output jack that enables you to power up to 6 other boss pedals when using the separately available pcs-20a power cable.

I run quite a few pedals and had reached the point where it was clear I needed a buffer at the front and end of my pedal board. Didn’t want to use up too much space and another slot on my powered supply by just adding a buffer so after a bit of research decided I would try a buffered tuner for the front end. Having used the same Boss TU12 tuner for the best part of 30 years I decided to change it for the TU3. Happy that it has solved the problem at the front end and combined with a buffered ABY switch at the back end before my amps, it has done as intended. Tuner functionality is pretty standard and a good replacement for my trusty TU12. Accurate and stable enough for normal use plus setting intonation precisely, tho I use multiple tuners when doing that. I’d recommend the TU3. Good solid product, effective buffer.Derek I.
These tuners used to be the best. I had one for over 10 years that was totally dependable. Unfortunately, the old one got lost and I had to buy a new one. I was surprised at how fast the new one drained the battery (the same kind of 9 volt battery I always used with the old one). I had to change the battery all the time, compared to the old one that I think I changed the battery on 3 times in the entire 10+ years I used it. One day it simply died, even with a brand new battery. I did not have the receipt so I just went and purchased a new one. THIS ONE IS BRAND NEW and it already died, even with a new battery. They are clearly making these things like junk now. I did save the receipt and purchased the guarantee from Guitar Center so I'll be returning it and never buying another one again. It sucks, this is really the tuner I like best. I just wish they hadn't started making them like garbage.Von
Here's another solid Boss product that has become an industry standard. It's sturdy, effective, and simple. It does just what it advertises, without too many bells and whistles. If you're a Boss lover, then this is your pedal. I knocked off one star, because it's not quite as accurate as my TC Electronic Polytune 3, but it's still a great product, and is used by almost every pro artist out there.CoopDbomb

The tuning isn't super fine, but it gets you real close. When in tuning mode the signal is blocked like in most tuners. However a tiny bit of signal still passes as well as some slight noise generated by the led display. Not bad though and doesn't color tone when by passed. Nice large and bright display. Hard to beat really. If you need a tuner pedal you could do much worse than this at a much higher price.offsetsmith

It took a while to get this pedal to work well enough to perform for an audience. I use the guitar signal to tune the harmonies and sometimes the harmony quality would vary depending upon which guitar I used and the volume of the guitar. Also the signal coming from the H-1 to my guitar amp would sometimes color the magnetic signal. I solved this by installing a Fishman Power bridge and a stereo jack on my guitar. I use a stereo guitar cord, Now the H-1 gets a constant signal from the Powerbridge and I have a clean magnetic signal to my guitar amp. Works great now. Down side is you have to watch the selector switches. They seem to move by themselves and can throw off the harmonies.Ozzie
Used for the first time at a gig over the weekend. Only had two practice sessions to experiment before taking it out, but it performed well. Like any effect, the user needs to be diligent not to overdo it. For some songs, it is awesome. For others, it just sounded weird and I bypassed it immediately. For example, great for Eagles…not so much for Black Keys. Best thing it provides is a boost of confidence for this mediocre singer. I feel like I can belt it out a bit more now with my "backup" singers behind me. Overall great value for the price, and highly recommended. As others have mentioned, it pushes a hot signal and needs to be controlled a bit. For me that's a benefit, but when our lead singer got on my mike, we had feedback.Rus on bass
I WAS very excited to get this product to replace my aging Akai Duobuddy… I like the small size, price and that it would determine that harmony I needed by the chord I played on my guitar… I was getting tired of dancing around my old pedal to tap out the key I needed. I also didn't need any of the bells and whistles that come on the more expensive units (reverb, effect, etc.), so this seemed perfect. Unfortunatly the harmonies when used with the guitar plugged in jumped, yodeled and sounded completely unnatural. It was a little better when you'd dial in the key on the rotary knob, but having to bend over and manually change keys defeats the whole purpose of a simple pedal. Also I have dealt with TC's service deptartment in the past for my first generation VoiceLive and they were extremely slow (2 months to repair) and my original unit stopped working again within a month of getting it back… not very well built for a unit that originally cost eight hundred clams. This unit seems tough, but sound wise it doesn't even come close to my 15 year old Akai DuoBuddy.Big Casino

Early days but, so far, I love it. I already have a Ditto Stereo, so I knew what to expect. This was really bought for the 'stop' and 'fade' functions for live performance, but I really like the ways that the two loop functions can be used together. The real test will be when I get a chance to use it for a gig.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Like said in a previous review, right out of the box there's a good chance this won't do much for you. Being able to use the TonePrint feature is vital to making this pedal sing, but once you find that one you need, you'll be in heaven. I play rhythm guitar in an alternative rock band that would basically sound cheesy with a chorus pedal, for the most part, but there is one song that needs the brightness and body offered by a chorus. The default chorus here is either too light or too heavy for my style, it's really impossible to dial in to my sound, but I started messing around with the TonePrints on the app. The first one that caught my ear was a reproduction of the Boss CE-2, and dang, the pure analog chorus sound was breathtaking. Airy if you want it to be, soaking wet if you want that too. The three knobs here on this pedal are really all you could want, and are perfect for dialing in just the right kind of effect to start with, then laying in how much of that effect you want to lay over your dry sound. I really liked the CE-2 copy sound, but I kept trying more TonePrints, and finally found the Brian May one. This was the ticket. Just transparent enough for me at almost any setting, and also brought along that brightness that Brian is known for. The TonePrint app allows me to keep both in my favorites to use at a moment's notice, but I have to say that I keep mine on the Brian May "Chorus1" Print almost all the time. There's so many different Prints though… there's the TriChorus available in a few different versions which is way too thick for what I want, but I imagine it would make a heavily distorted guitar sound really work in a chorusy way, plus tons of other artist Prints. If I found what I needed, I'm sure you can find what will work for you too. I stuck with the Mini just because if I had the full size Corona, I'd stay on the TonePrint switch all the time, which this pedal already basically does. Great value for exactly what I want.SteeringWheelSpotlight
In the past I had had a SCF+ Chorus, and that pedal is perfect. I sold it to a friend before I moved to the US and, because I was missing a chorus in my pedalboard (and I also liked the Flashback Delay), I decided to give Corona a try. I bought this pedal with a discount coupon plus some Backstage Points. Well, unfortunatelly, the Corona disappointed me. Ok, it's well built, it has a good cost-benefit ratio, the option for dual or tri-chorus makes a difference on the "detune" effect, and there are some Toneprint adjusts that can help you to shape your tone… but I think I set the bar too high, thinking that I would get different chorus/flanger/vibrato sounds on it. I wouldn't. I spent some time with the Toneprint Editor, trying to tweak Corona in order to discover new sounds. All the modulations have a similar sound, and the vibrato and flanger doesn't remember the SCF at all. I understand if Corona had offering all modulations in full mode, there would be no reason for other models (Shaker and Vortex), but even the chorus sounds aren't so diverse. You can use speed and depth, and there is a nice hi-pass filter, but if you think Toneprint has many different chorus sounds, maybe you should test that pedal before buying. Also, Corona delivers a specific medium-high frequency (not noticeable on the original SCF+) that shaped the tone a little bit, taking out some of the transparency I expected. TC could fix that EQ issue inserting a multi-band EQ inside the editor. Finishing, don't take me wrong: Corona is a nice pedal, maybe the best option among other chorus pedals with the same price. The technology within allows TC to improve user experience. But don't expect too much.Victor

Excellent condition. downsizing multiple boards to one board. selling many pedals. pics are the description.tc pushes the envelope yet again for what's possible in a tuner pedal! the tc electronic polytune 3 is faster, more dependable, and more intuitive than ever, boasting accuracy within 0.1 cents and a no-nonsense approach to guitar and instrument tuning strum all strings* to see which are out of tune at a glance, or tune up one string at a time. thanks to its built-in bonafide buffer circuitry (switchable to true bypass), polytune 3 can now even improve your tone for long cable runs. this means you get the treble and transient response that's much closer to plugging directly into an amp. but that's not all that's improved in the tc polytune 3. alternate tuning modes make it fast and easy to explore new ways to craft your art, even in the middle of a frantic set. and an improved auto-dimming led display makes tuning more comfortable in any environment, indoors or out.

Reviews:
After a few mediocre and one downright terrible vocal processor, the Boss VE-20 manages to have great effects and good editing features while also being simple to program yourself provided you read the manual. The presets are good and get you singing right out of the box, the looper feature is operated by literally three button presses, and navigation and menu diving is streamlined to be as hassle free as possible. The real shining light for me has got to be the distortion effects. Ive never been able to run distortion on vocals without getting huge amounts of feedback from the PA. I dont know why, I dont know how, but as I brought the Boss to the studio a couple days ago, the volume was cranked and I received absolutely no feedback from the monitors. I think there might be some kind of gate within or a limiter of some sort, but Im just happy it works so well!damageeffect
This pedal has very limited uses if you are planning to use this on stage. I was initially excited to play with this thing and hoped it would add a new dimension to my vocals but when I started going through the presets I realized that none of them were very practical. It gives you a ton of reverb options but as anyone who has ever played a show knows, there is already reverb in the venue so using your own on-board reverb on top of that is just going to muddy up your sound. The harmony presets are all useless to me and sound fake anyway. The "pitch correction" was another feature I was excited about but it doesn't do a great job and will often lock on to the wrong notes unless you have perfect pitch (Which i definitely do not). So with all that being said what is left is the chorus effect, doubling effect, flanging effect, tremolo effect and delay effect that are actually useful live. So I guess if you use a bunch of flange, chorus, and tremolo in your vocals, this pedal might be alright. Oh while I'm at it another thing I didn't think about that I wish I had before getting this pedal. If you're playing guitar and singing at the same time (like myself), changing presets is a pain in the butt and near impossible. You have to hold down the 2nd pedal for 2 seconds and then you can scroll through the presets then holding the pedals down again to lock on to the new preset.. you have to ask yourself.. are you really going to have time and coordination to do that while right in the middle of a song? Probably not… I'm sad this thing didn't meet my needs because I was excited about it but it's just not very practical at the end of that day.Dancing with Ghosts
Works as it should. The sound was good and could get a warm sound from the unit. The sevice was great got it earlier than they said with no issues. The thing is built like a tank, like all boss products. Will be using it live and I will get back to all on the live performance of the unit.Jim c.
19. Tc Electronic Spark Booster Pedal

Product Details:
The spark booster is a stompbox-style boost, overdrive and eq pedal from tc electronic. it features level and gain controls, a fat/clean/mid tone selector and a 2-band eq. the pedal's level control offers 26 db of clean boost and is designed to simply add volume to your guitar sound without distorting or altering the tonal character. it can be used as a volume boost to your clean guitar, or at higher settings, to create overdriven sounds by pushing your amp harder. the gain boost control on the other hand, adds slight overdrive and compression. this can be useful in situations that call for the sound of an overdriven amp, but require that your volume be kept low, such as when playing a restaurant or coffee house gig. the spark booster's 2-band eq controls consist of bass and treble knobs, which allow both cut and boost. bass frequencies can be boosted for more punch, or rolled off a bit for a tighter sound that may otherwise sound boomy when playing through larger cabinets. add more treble to your tone to brighten up darker sounding amps, or to compensate for signal lost in long cables. treble can be reduced for softer, jazzier tones. the pedal can be run in 3 separate modes that can be chosen using the fat/clean/mid tone selector. the "clean" setting boosts your guitar signal equally across the frequency spectrum, while the "fat" setting adds more low-end punch to your sound, also allowing for more precise control of your tonal shape when using the eq and gain knobs. the "mid" setting provides a bump in the midrange that will give your guitar tone more "cut-through" in the mix.

I used to think that boost pedals were dumb and that I would never use one. But after watching dozens of videos and seeing several big name endorsements, I thought that the Spark might be for real, and it is now EASILY my favorite pedal. Simply put, it just makes your tone better, no matter what kind of guitar or pickups you run through it. The sound quality and versatility are the best features. It gives you a great boost, but it's extremely amp-like, in the same way that clean channels on good tube amps break up if you crank the gain. And the little toggle switch gives you three different "clean channels" with which to work. The middle position has the most clean headroom and is the classic boost, but still breaks up a little if you max the gain. The Mid and Fat sounds add beef to your tone in fantastic ways, and I use those most often. Do you think that single-coils and/or jazz box guitars sound thin compared to solidbodies with humbuckers, like me? The Mid and Fat settings will fix that for ya. I love my Strats and my jazz guitars so much more now. Turn up the gain and the Mid and Fat settings will give you a great overdrive too. The best part about cranking the gain on the Spark is how well it makes your sound hit tube amps. It gives you glorious saturation at any volume level. This is the perfect pedal to put first in your drive section. Your other drive pedals will greatly benefit as well. Worried about tone? This is the most transparent pedal I've ever used, even more so than TC's other drive pedals (which I also love). The two EQ controls are fantastic and give the pedal a huge advantage over nearly every other boost pedal. Whether fully down or cranked, you get usable sounds in great frequency ranges. Simply put, this is the best pedal I've ever heard. Having volume AND gain, plus two great EQ controls, plus THREE voices to choose from puts this pedal above every other boost on the market. Seriously, just buy it already.T. Slice
Another drive/boost pedal. The ability to switch between fat/clean/mid modes is a nice feature. Separate bass and treble is handy too to sculpt the tone. Only 4 stars though because the foot switch is terrible. Why can’t TC put the same switch as they do in the polytune?Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Took a bit of a flyer on this as I sort of have an end result in my head and im not entirely sure how to get there. i have a hybrid amp that has a touch of valve harmonics that im trying to exagerate. this is a step in the right direction (and with some fiddling might even be the thing) i think what i was expecting was more like a compressor, but this is more or a transparent drive type effect (at least with my amp). however it is first drive pedal that ive loved without faffing about with the dials for hours. am getting nice bluesy /seventies blues rock tones using the clean setting on the toggle, and the gain about midway. the fat setting starts pushing into proper overdriven sounds, but with a nice natural tone. so despite not being exactly what i was looking for (my fault) im really pleased with this pedal. so much so i might gift one to my kid. theres a tiny bit of noise when the level knob goes up high, but i get much the same from my SD1 so either its just the nature of the beast, or my set upReviewed by guitarguitar custome

Reviews:
Fast and stable, display is bright. The flat and capo tuning options are nice (only matters for polytune mode). Like other reviewers have noted, the polytune usually indicates certain strings are out of tune, but then when you check them individually, they are in tune. However, single-string tuning is easy. 2 modes – needle and strobe – I've only used the strobe and it is super accurate. The other beef is that it doesn't allow you to adjust the reference frequency – A/440Hz is your only option. A couple tunes I play are tuned either flat or sharp, so the pedal tuner is useless for those. Odd thing is the TC clip-on polytune (which I have as well) does allow changing the reference frequency by +/-5Hz.Marcel
I've been using the Polytune Mini on all my boards for years. This new Polytune 3 works better than the original ones, especially when strumming all strings for a quick check. If you are struggling for space on your gig board and need a reliable tuner, this one will do the job.Devan S.
One of the industry standard tuners, the polytune tuner is fantastic. I love the soft button footswitch, the LCD is extremely clear, it has the full chord tuning ability, which it's rival doesn't have. The fact this tuner has a built in bonafide buffer is extremely useful too, which allows you to keep the clarity of your signal, without any tone loss. I guess it's a little expensive for a tuner, but £72 for a tuner with a built in buffer isn't breaking the bank! Would definitely recommend this product for every musician!
