1. Fender Mini Tone Master Amplifier
Product Details:
Today, i am offering, from my collection of mini amps, my blonde fender mini tone master amp. this is one of several fender minis i will be offering. i purchased all of them new. this is from a displaying collection and at the end of the day, these are collectable toys and not real amplifiers (yes, i admit they make a few guitar sounds) and expectations should be set accordingly. the blonde amp is in mint condition, with no stains, or damage anywhere, in or out. they made a great display and as much of a conversation piece as the real amps made. if you are building a collection, i am also offering, under different listings, my fender mini twin and my mini deluxe, all in similar superb condition, fairly priced, under lenco listings. thank for looking.

Reviews:
This is not a stadium amplifier, or strong enough for a concert hall. It is a great small amplifier for practicing when overwhelming volume will wake everyone in the house or start the neighbors complaining. It has great sound and dissolves any fuzz or squelch. The controls are easy to use and adjust with great range for such a small amp. I bought the amp for an inexpensive junior guitar (38") so i could practice and improve my skill after a 3 decade hiatus. I did not want to invest a lot of money only to find that I was no longer interested in really stepping out. It is perfect for me to relearn, and to sample some new music with an electric acoustic guitar. I made a very good choice, and recommend this amp if you want to practice on your front porch or in your living or rec room. The sound is incredible for a one ampere peak to peak amplifier. Much louder and more defined than one would expect. The fidelity is excellent. A great buy for a small start without having to take out a 2nd mortgage.roberwit14
It's a novelty item I keep on my desktop. I can actually play my guitar through it, but it doesn't produce "good" tone. However, it does produce a tone that sounds 'cheap' but not horrible if you make a little effort to 'dial in' the best sound you can get working with what you've got. This is not a product for gigging or recording. It is what it is.Rico
I collect mini amps and added this one to the shelf. I did plug it in and as expected, not much in the way of power or tone, but I had no expectations beyond looks. It is nicely detailed with corners, handle and grille with logos. It's is what it is. A detailed scale model of a Fender Amp. Fits perfectly into the collection. Not likely to plug it up again. Equally poor on AC or Battery. Rated 5 as collectible replica. Rated 1 as an amplifier. Hence the 3. Wouldn't recommend as a guitar amp.Mike

Reviews:
If you're expecting an amazing Marshall sound, you might want to invest in some of the bigger amps Marshall has to offer. If you think you can get a concert level sound out of this little guy, you will not be the happiest person. However, that level of "high" expectation would not be very reasonable or even realistic for such a little amp. This is a very cute, small amp that will help you plug your guitar so you can practice quietly in any room in your house without annoying your wife. It will distort if you crank the volume all the way out, and if you're used to the full sound of a bigger Marshall (like I do) it might make you feel like you're hearing your guitar over an old telephone (just my opinion). However, if you calibrate your instrument volume & tone you can find a happy medium. With that said, for the price it is a very nice solution to practice and if the sound seems too weak for you, you have the choice of putting headphones. I personally use it just for practice on the fly, it serves it purpose, but then again I was not expecting the best sound output. So I am happy with the purchase.BeeZee
It's basically a toy amp. I can see it being used as a portable amp for non-serious performance. Personally, I like it for a quick jam and for (relatively) quiet practice in my apartment setting. Won't disturb my neighbors but it does get noticeable at the highest volume. That and the overdrive knob are the two main controls. By default it just does a clean sound but overdrive lets you toggle in some gain for that distortion. It has a good look that definitely models after its bigger brothers.Rick
I don't know what some of you guys expect from this thing, but be realistic: it's an inexpensive 5 inch tall, 1 watt amp. It's not designed for anything but sitting in a chair and entertaining yourself or a couple of people. Within that context, I enjoy this thing and sometimes get it off the shelf and play around with it for awhile. Also, when I owed somebody a 1 minute long riff for his podcast and my main amp was getting some regular tech service, I plugged my American Standard Strat into this thing, mic'd the amp, used the OD channel with the volume and tone both on 10, played the part, then added tons of bass, reverb, and chorus to it in post, and it sounded great and nobody ever knew that I recorded the part using a 5 inch tall amp. It is what it is as long as you don't expect the world.Steve

Reviews:
Unbelievable. This is NOT my Vox AC30, and nor is it my 100W Katana. However, for a package that is powered by batteries and can, quite literally, fit into the palm of your hand, the Katana Mini is simply fantastic. The amp models are brilliant and the delay (reverb) function is an excellent feature. On "clean" settings the volume of the amp is perfectly adequate and will fill a room with no issues, and on the "crunch" and "brown" settings, the amp was more than loud enough to fill a large room at 2/3 volume. Whilst I personally think that this is not quite enough for an advanced/intermediate players sole amplifier, I would completely agree that for a beginner, they would need no more than this. Having tried options from Yamaha and other brands, this is firmly my favourite battery powered micro amplifier for any level of guitarist and equipment, the tone is simply that good! The best way I can describe it is this – when I first plugged my PRS McCarty 594 into it, I was vaguely aware that I wasn't playing through my Vox. However, after five minutes or so, I had completely forgotten this wasn't a "real" amp, and had to keep looking down at the tiny box on the floor to believe it! Well done, Boss!Mr I. F.
Overall: I've been a bass player since 83 and just picked up the guitar a year or two ago. I purchased a guitar a few months ago and didn't have funds for an amp. So, after watching countless vids and reading many reviews, I favored this one the most. No local stores had a katana under 50w so, the payment plan zZounds had was perfect and received this little beast on Wednesday. With that said, no vid or review could compare to the hands on experience. For a 7w amp, this truly is a must have and the sound is 100% phenomenal. I'm personally not into effect pedals and what features this amp has, is just enough for me. The delay is just right as well as clean/crunch and brown features. The only problem that I have is, though it comes with 6 AA batteries, the adapter would've been more preffered.Other than that, I highly reccomend this amp to everyone, and would highly recommend zZounds payment plans (if your credit card qualifies) and customer service is great tooOne more thing, it's a lot smaller than I thought and that's one of the many reasons why I reccomend this to everyone.
I use it primarily as a practice amp at lower levels, but I'd feel confident doing coffee house gigs with it, and maybe smaller clubs too. It sounds warm and rich at low volumes, and the EQ is effective. All three voices are useful and I'm not left wanting. I have to make special mention of the delay. I adore reverb (including and especially spring reverb and gritty, trashy reverb of all kinds) but a simple delay circuit is way more useful in this amp. Doubling, slapback, echoes. The treble roll-off and fixed feedback are well-tuned. If you're using this for busking or other guerilla performance, you will suddenly realize that a single delay is worth more than a thousand reflections, because those reflections sound godawful* against naturally-occurring surfaces. *maybe awesome in a sound design way thoughChesterfleet
4. Fishman Loudbox Mini 60w Acoustic Instrument Amplifier
Product Details:
The loudbox mini sports an mp3 input and balanced xlr d.i. the loudbox mini packs 60watts of clean acoustic power, and has two channels featuring fishmans legendary preamp and tone control designs, plus digital reverb and chorus for the instrument channel and reverb for the microphone channel. fishman's lightest and most portable amp yet, loudbox mini delivers the tonal quality that has made the fishman name the standard for great acoustic sound
Reviews:
I have two fender acoustic guitar amps, an Acoustasonic SFX which isn't bad, and a 150 [save your money, all $500] which I thought would be accurate for my McPhearson and Gibson acoustics. My Vibrolux does a better job and I think my Twin is almost as good. So much for Fender Acoustic amps. [I own several for electric and swear by them] I heard some one play through the Loudbox Performer and I had a good conversation with him after his gig. I decided to buy one and use my LR Baggs Venue with it as I did with my Vibrolux, only to discover that the Venue was not necessary. I know that I once said I wouldn't play without the Venue, but it is not necessary except for fine tuning. This amp is the real deal and can be run through the house system just like most of the better acoustic amps. I have four different acoustics with active electronics, all of which have Fishman products including a Morgan Monroe 00 that I put a Fishman Rare Earth in. I am pleased as well as impressed. I have not played through any other Fishman amps but I would venture to guess that they are just as impressive as the Loudbox Performer. Don't mess around, just buy the real thing and you will be pleased.mr._rosewater
The Fishman Loudbox Mini is a great value in the instrument/mic combo arena. I used it in performance the other night in a coffehouse setting with my duo partner, and it kicked it out! I played a baritone guitar, standard 6-string, vocals and harmonicas through it with clarity and sufficient volume for the setting…no distortion, no quacking, great reverb. And new to me, used the chorus feature on a song that traditionally had been "just background guitar". i also put my 6-string banjo thru the Mini using a Seymour Duncan guitar pickup wedged under the banjo head [typical setup] with no pre-amp. With some extra gain dialed-in on the Mini, the banjo worked well. Vocals are crystal clear. The only downside for me as a multi-instrumentalist is the need to switch input cables among banjo and guitars, but I knew that when I bought the Mini. I've also used the Mini as a monitor with an output to my Yamaha Stage Pas300 with great success. This amp is a keeper, and at the "demo" price [box was un-opened], you can't beat the value.buynbryn
I was previously playing with a Fender Acoustasonic JR for the last 10 years, which was a solid amp that did it's job, and was a great acoustic amp 10 years ago before this Fishman Amp and other amps were on the market. As my Acoustasonic amp is slowly wearing down from years of use, and starting to feel more and more bulkier as I get older and have to haul that 40 lbs amp around, I decided to invest in a new amp, since acoustic amplification technology has improved in the last 10 years. The Fishman Loudbox Mini was perfect for what I need! This thing is so small and light weight, around 20 lbs and only a bit larger than a lunchbox, it's so easy to throw in the backseat of my car carry it to my gigs without straining my shoulders. The sound of this is way better than my acoustasonic, it's very crystal clear and natural sounding with amazing tone, and amplifies the unique sound of each guitar that plugs into it instead of coloring it. Also, don't be fooled by the speaker size, there's still plenty of bass response coming out of this tiny amp. I play background music in many restuarants, coffeehouses, cafes, and this thing does the job perfectly, and is plenty loud enough for these venues. I haven't tried the vocal channel in a live situation before, since I'm an instrumentalist, and I haven't tried this thing in a noisy bar yet. The only drawback, though, is that the leather covering of this amp scratches, tears, and dents easily. This is defintiely not road worthy unless you use a case for extra protection. I recently came back from a tour across the East-Coast, where I just threw this amp in my trunk. I guess the friction of the amp moving around in my trunk and guitar cases rubbing on it for many hours caused all sorts of tears, dents, and scratches on the leather binding 🙁 So definitely get a case for this.sman-eNpbJ

Reviews:
Seeing that one buyer sadly gave this product only 1 star, I was obliged to comment. You can get good cleans and some sweet sounding OD tones from this little mini. I own 14 other minis, and this is the second best. Only the Blackstar Fly and a Pignose might be a better choice, but the Pignose is a bit more than a mini, and it doesn't have the built in delay that gives this Laney a good depth of tone. I've yet to play around with the download voicings/fx, but I'm sure that will only increase my appreciation of this little amp. I'm only deducting the one point since the Blackstar does a bit better at more output with less noise, but again, with minis you need to expect that when you are driving them hard, or putting pedals in front that tend to increase the frequency range further beyond its comfort zones. Most of the time, I'm not hearing noise, just hearing one of the sweetest OD tones I've heard from a mini. The dual voicings and AUX input are also a plus.GAS Man
Laney Mini STB . Looks great and seems to be well constructed, early days yet. The basic sounds from the amp are astoundingly good for its size. I like simple knobs, and knob twiddling is what its all about. Careful use of the gain knob instantly takes you from a really lovely clean sound through slight break up to fairly grungy crunch. The facts that you have a single tone control makes it easy to shape the sound to suit your guitar and taste. The guitar level knob serves as a second soft gain, or if you like channel volume to be topped of with the main master volume knob. Judicious use of the delay 'Leve'l and 'Delay' knobs can take you from gentle reverb like spaciousness to a more experimental long delay effect. The only issue i have is with the delay 'effect' control is the absurdly small level button knob, it is too short. I don't have the largest fingers but I find it impossible to adjust unless I shift the delay and tone knobs out of the way. The drive button shifts the gain starting point and brings in some very dirty sounds indeed can get a bit fizzy at the extreme but plenty of very usable overdrive sounds are there. Using the LSI cable link and Tonebridge App is fun. It takes a while to balance the output volume of your phone/Tablet, with the levels on the amp, and the levels on the App itself . You get there in the end and have some fun sounds to play with. Given that this is a very small portable practise amp which fulfils it basic purpose extremely well with the onboards electronics , I'm not sure how much I would actually use the LSI going forward. Each to their own I guess. Not tried bluetooth yet for playing along to backing etc. Also gives you the option to use the amp as a simple blutooth speaker I guess. I decided not to purchase the PSU straight off and to try the amp with rechargeable double AA's. So far they are lasting for many hours and still going strong.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Overall: Like the title says, this really is a nice sounding battery powered amp. I use it for practice and noodling. I am quite shocked by how good this little thing sounds. It's perfect for me. The delay is useful and I would rather have it than reverb. I haven't delved into the available Tonebridge software that is free and works with this amp but it sounds like it would be fun. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this product. It's my go to practice tool and it's great for travelling as well. Nothing but positive things to say about this amp.

Reviews:
I run a guitar repair business and needed an acoustic amp to test out acoustic guitar preamps. Also to play occasional small amplified gigs. This fit the bill perfectly. What I realized afterwards is that it also makes a wonderful rehearsal tool! Bluetooth connects my laptop to the amp for playing along with songs I learn for wedding gigs. The DI out goes into my Behringer 2-sided in-ear monitor amplifier. Much better sound quality than running my Alexa Dot speaker to mini mixer to powered speaker DI out to monitor amp. And it also sounds great just used as a Bluetooth speaker for music in my shop and around the house or on the back deck. And if I want to play along, I plug in the guitar!
I played with a Fishman SA220 Solo Amp for years, so I knew going in that the sound quality was going to be awesome with the Loudbox Mini. But nothing prepared me for just how good the sound would be. It really took me by surprise. As with any amp, you have to take some time to get the EQ settings right for the guitar you're playing, but the super-response 3-band EQ makes it incredibly easy to dial in your sound. I played a gig over the weekend and used my Taylor T5z and Gibson J-45 Avant Garde with the amp. They both sounded incredible through the amp! I was so jazzed. For that gig, I used the amp mainly as a reference monitor that I plugged into the FOH. It worked perfectly in that application. But truth be told, the amp really doesn't come into its own until the speaker's pushing some air. While it sounds great at lower volumes, there's something special that happens at higher volumes that's a little hard to articulate. There's a depth to the sound that isn't apparent at lower volumes, and you really don't get the full effect of the onboard reverb and chorus until you start pushing air. So I actually upped my stage volume a bit so I could hear/feel that effect. 🙂 Truth be told, I haven't used a microphone with it, but based on my experience with the SA220 and the general quality of the sound from my guitars, I have no doubt that this will be a great performer for vocals as well! What's really cool is that each channel has its own EQ and individual reverb. These are musts for a solo performance amp as far as I'm concerned. All that said, combine that great sound with incredible portability (it's about the size of a truck battery), and you've got a winner! But let's be honest here, it's not an AER. The bass response is not nearly as good as on those units. But it's close; close enough that if you're plugged into a FOH or DAW, you can compensate for the lower bass on the EQ panel of the mixer. It's also a fraction of the price of an AER. The value proposition of the Loudbox Mini far exceeds what it may lack in terms of sound quality as compared to a high-end system. Finally, what I love about having this unit is that for solo gigs, I now have options. I can use this unit for small cafe or private residential parties, then use my JBL Eon One for larger venues. Pretty cool!Brendan
Beautiful clear tone through my Yamaha SVC series silent/electric cello. Music to my ears! Reviews are correct and this powerful yet elegant sounding amp does not disappoint. Lots of time spent researching but super happy I went with the Fishman mini. The Bluetooth feature is excellent.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Reviews:
I purchased the Loudbox Mini Charge to use in small settings as a solo fingerstyle acoustic guitarist. So far I've found very little I don't like about this amp. It has great volume and tone for its size … it really sounds wonderfully articulate despite the fact it simply can't match the headroom of larger, more powerful units. Then again, it's designed for small venues. The reverb and chorus settings are well-executed and pleasant sounding and the three band eq is responsive. Bluetooth is easy to pair and use making this a potential boon at deck and tailgate events. If I had to list negatives my first gripe would be that the channel two input is XLR only. It would have been nice to see a combination jack here for times when players want to use a second instrument input. However, a passive DI box will solve that issue. The other missing feature is an anti-feedback circuit. There is a phase switch but the lack of a true auto-notch on an amp in this price range seems strange. Finally, the on-board battery makes this unit heavier than it looks. It easily outweighs a Fender Acoustasonic 90 even though the Fender is physically twice its size. Those issues aside, the Loudbox Mini Charge is a great performing little amp with the bonus of being battery powered when needed. I'm definitely a fan.GS
So far I've just practiced with it at home and the sound is superb, especially the low end being very present and not muddy. Big bonus for me is I can easily carry it in one hand and guitar in the other so no need for multiple trips. Another reason I got it is for my outdoor gigs where access to electricity can be iffy. Wish I would have got this a few years ago when they first came out. It's made my setup easy and I sound great.Fierce Grace
Overall: This amp sounds so good playing a Taylor acoustic through, the on board effects are smooth and polished and very balanced… The low end of this little amp is very impressive and HOLY $&@! this little box is freaking LOUD!!! It 100% lives up to its name, add the fact that you can charge it up and use it away from any power supply means you can play music anywhere and from my experience with using it for about 2 years now the charge still lasts about 6 hours at 50% master volume of playing before needing a charge again and that’s more than enough playing time for most people, now that playing time I’ll go down a bit if you crank it up to 85% volume but will still last about 3 hours. I give this amp a 9.5/10 only because the carry bag is a must have but is sold separately and it’s a little pricy for what it is, if your paying just over $500 for a very small mini carry amp to me the carry bag should be included in that price tag IMO speaking that you can buy a Randall half stack head and cabinet for about the same price.

I picked this up for my son so he could practice around the house. Killer stocking stuffer! When the son is away the dad will now play. I started playing my Mustang Bass through this and it did the job. It's a small amp, not a practice amp. This is perfect for camping trips, rocking at the office or kicking it in the backyard. Oh yeah and you can plug in 1/4 headphones and keep the concert to yourself. It runs on a 9-volt battery or you can plug in a 9-volt adapter.SERGIO
Took a chance on this and purchased it without every playing it. Watched video reviews on it and gave it a shot. Yes, I know that it's small in size, smaller than a kids lunchbox but I hoped it'd produce quality sound and what I got was muddy sounds at increased volumes. It's not clear sounding and my goal to play through an amp is to sound good and I felt if I actually played this in front of people, the muddyness would make me sound amateurish. So, for what you pay for this, yes, you get amplified but it's not real great quality, unless you're a metal player because you don't get a clean sound from this. I rate this 3 stars because it's convenient to have a portable battery operated tiny amp that you can plug into and get sound from, however, the quality almost makes you not even want to play it.Jesse
This ain't no micro cube or vox. This less than 20$ & runs on 1 9v battery or 9v plug in the wall.(transformer not included)& Holy Friggin' Smokes does this baby perform.Monster overdrive tone & super bright, clean tone.Headphone input.Probably exceeds 60 decibels, which is beyond city ords. could get U a fine it's so damn loud. My Strat Squire sounds soooo Fender good out of this lil sucka & my electric/acoustic, sooo crisp.Ultra light to carry around.I've been using the JOYO mini,I love it,plug in,no chord, fun but this Fender mini is a bit more.More tone options and louder.I've yet to find out how quick it eats batteries. The JOYO burns them up fast.Get the rechargeables. Also the JOYO has an MP3 input. This doesn't. I run guitar strap thru the handle so the chord is like non-existent or U can old school it and have a 10 or 20 ft chord. So light it can be pulled over by the chord. These mini amps also pick up radio signals. When I turn them on I can hear radio stations at certain angles. So get 1 for the road. It's all about the fun.annoyingted1

Have the Spark 40 and am very happy with it. The Mini, not so much. Biggest issue is that it is much to easy to overdrive the speakers, especially the bass. It is not very loud. It's OK for a small quiet room, but I really can't use it outdoors on the patio. It works best sitting on a reflective surface like a table. You don't want the bottom mount bass speaker facing, say, a rug. I love the iPhone / iPad app. It has a good variety of amps and pedals, but you really can't get the same sound as a tube amp like my Blues Jr IV. While it has a variety of reverb pedals, it does not have spring reverb. A big disappointment. I really like that it is battery powered, usb chargeable and really like the Bluetooth speaker function.Dave
I fell in love with the capability of the PG Spark 40 and I had to have this mini for it's portability! I pre-ordered mine direct from Positive Grid when they were running their pre-production discounts. I've been playing on and off for about 30 years. I wish this was available then instead of that clunky, weak Squire 15 amp I started with. The app for Android and iPhone opens up all kinds of possibilities! A starting musician and use the features to play along to their favorite songs or you can look up backing tracks to tinker along with. The standard hardware sounds are very warm, and the tone cloud gives you access to an unfathomable amount of tones modeled after near all of your favorite artists! It is more than enough to appeal to the budding guitarist to keep you interested! And for more experienced players, the options that are part of this thing are incredible, and will have you noodling with your Sunday morning coffee before you know it! Got the PG Spark 40, ABSOLUTELY had to get the Mini! If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed!Dave
The sound and tone quality from such a small amp is amazing! It sounds huge. You will quickly forget you are playing through a 6 inch cube. There are a bunch of amps and effects to create your own sound, and the Smart Jam and play along features are both fun and inspiring. Plus, the various tones in the ToneCloud are great for matching a tone to a song you are learning to play. Believe the hype from the reviews online. I will say that this is amp may not be for everyone. At 10 watts, it is not loud enough to gig with. Plus, I would not recommend this for a first amp. There are a lot of options that can be overwhelming for beginners, and the limited on-board options do not allow for simple plug and play. Beginners may want to start with something like a Black Star ID Code. There are also a few things I am not crazy about. Because of the limited on-board controls, 6 to 8 presets would have been better, plus the default presets are not that good. The amp models in the app are OK, but some sound too similar, plus each amp has the same knobs (Gain, Bass, Middle, High and Volume). Nothing to distinguish one amp model from another (Channels, Presence knob, Intensity knob, etc.). The same goes for the reverb pedals (each has 6 knobs whether or not the pedal being replicated has 6 options). The Vox Tone room has better amp and effect modeling but does not have all of the other jamming and recording options. So all of that being said, this amp is still fantastic for someone with some knowledge of amps (for example, the difference between gain and volume) and is looking for something small and discrete to play around the house (or apartment) that does not want to sacrifice tone quality. The battery power is nice for playing anywhere without having to plug it in. I've played mine for a couple hours without having to recharge. It is also a great option if you want to record your work. All in all, this is an innovative amp that is just fun to play, has a ton of options and sounds way too good for its size. Get one, you'll love it!Dan

the most amazing lightweight personal amp I've ever owned. It has a microphone input too. The power and big sound from this is almost unbelievable. I can't turn up the master volume past 3 in a practice studio, so lots of grunt left for outdoor settings. Wish I'd bought this earlier. And sooooo amazingly lightFerenc M.
I bought the Vox VX 50 AG, to use as a practice amp at home. I've been more than satisfied with it's tone and volume. It's a nice compact body size, and is easy to move around because of the low weight and sturdy carrying handle. The controls are easily accessible on top, and have a quality feel to them. Overall, a very good amp that I would purchase again, and recommend to others!Gary

I recently grabbed this beauty to use with my array of acoustic electric guitars (Gibson L-00 Rosewood, Martin 000-17E, Taylor 324ce, Breedlove Oregon Myrtlewood Concertina, and Breedlove Premier Adirondack/Rosewood Concert). I will especially need it when it comes time to play shows again, and I was interested in this amp as it has two channels (one for guitar and one for vocals). The sound is perfect and so true to the tone and nuances of each guitar that I'm mostly just mad at myself that it took me this long to get ahold of this amp. It is deep and full sounding and also has an excellent grouping of effects (the delay and reverb are stellar). There are more expensive acoustic amps out there (I own one of them) but this is the best that I've used. It will give you absolutely everything that you need to annoy your neighbors or to perform in front of a small-to-medium-sized room full of people.Tyler from Oregon
Overall I'm very pleased. Other reviews have covered most everything, so I'll just add a few comments. While I love the sound of this amp, it's pretty under-powered when used with dynamic mics or a passive guitar pickup. I have a Taylor 712 ce with a K&K mini installed, and it benefits greatly from running the signal into a LR Baggs Para Acoustic Guitar DI and Preamp first. Similarly, a dynamic mic like a Shure 58 sounds fine, but will do much better with a preamp of some sort. I prefer to use a condenser like an Audio-Technica AE5400. I also have the big brother of this amp, the 200-watt version. I like to take a line out from that amp and run it into the 100 for use as a stage monitor. The amp sound basically identical, so that eliminates the need for messing around much with the EQ – what you hear is what is going out to the audience. There's no tilt-back mechanism on the 100 but I find that a foam block like what's used for transporting a kayak serves as a nice support to lean it on. One other thing – this is a beautiful amp and deserves some protection. I don't think that Musicians Friend as of this writing stocks a cover for it, but ione is available at a reasonable price online if you look around a bit. Bottom line – this is a very nice little amp. Allowing for the gain issues noted above, I'm very pleased with both the 100 and 200-watt versionsNJKid
Hands down, this is the most stunning amp I have ever used with my acoustic guitar! The sound is absolutely gorgeous, warm, and true to the beauty of my guitar! I own a Martin GPC16 and use it with this amp. Even my husband, who isn't a musician but has an ear for sound, couldn't believe how beautiful my guitar sounded on it. I recommend this for any acoustic player! I use it for guitar and vocals and have been so impressed. The built in effects are perfect for what I need- nothing fancy but tasteful. I usually stick to a nice reverb or delay.Jackie

Solid built Excellent sound Very portablePat
Overall: I was looking for a smaller Acoustic Amp that reflected a "true" acoustic sound, not processed or too quaky.. Sure you can find some really good tone from Boss/Loudbox, etc but they just weren't for me. Then you look at some higher end ones that are $1.3k+ like Mesa Rosette, AER, Acus, etc and they are all super strong contenders, but pay a hefty premium! Then I stumbled on the Genzler Accoustic Array line, listened to some test/reviews of the Genzler and was instantly drawn in. Really sounded good when used w/ guitars w/decent pick ups in them. Thought the effects sounded good and not overpowering. Well it arrived in perfect condition and hasn't disappointed! Quality is spot on and it works/sounds great with my Takamine's, Gibson, PRS, Taylors, etc! It really is a fantastic amp for the value, sits right in between the other options in this 50-120amp range!Vinny

This has got to be the best thing to ever happen for Acoustic Singer Songwriter's who need a high quality Amplifier for Guitar and Voice/Microphone. The retail price is much lower than competition, and Musicians' Friend made me an even better deal with a 15% coupon. This Amplifier has it all. I can mount it on a Speaker Tripod and put it at ear level at a gig, and it has more than enough power all by itself to fill a 60 foot Bar with Tables. It has really nice controls and more effects and connection options that either of my other two amps. Let's just say that until I received this AMP, my favorite by far was my Fishman Loud box Mini. As Peter Sellers would say, "Pink Panther",, Not Any MoreBeeGeesBruce
Bugera, like their sister Behringer products, are designed in Germany and manufactured in China. With a little work you can search Musician's Friend and find another German brand, manufactured in Germany, whose small amp is the 5 times more expensive inspiration for this product. I have bought and returned an amp from the more expensive option as it had a manufacturing defect (a noisy volume pot) but I did get a chance to look it over carefully and run it through its paces. The AC60 appears to have similar build quality, similar tone (turn on the color/colour switch to get that signature Tommy Emmanuel tone out of the whizzer cone single 8" driver), and adds an AUX input, tilt back legs, a standard sized speaker stand adapter, and a universal AC power supply that will work anywhere in the world. It is quite loud for 60 watts and mine weighs only 15 lbs and 12 ozs. The reverb and effects are first rate. It produces very little heat when running and I would suspect that in additional to the universal digital power supply it is a class D digital power amp driving the speaker. Being nearly end-to-end digital in design is different from its inspirational amp as that one is analog. I have found no reason to prefer one over the other (excepting the lighter weight of most class D digital designs). For some applications you might prefer an amp with a tweeter but I find the color switch does an excellent job making the frequency response with an acoustic guitar sound excellent. The mic channel sounds good with a mic for voice, the easy part, but also sounds fine driven with music from my phone (a much harder test though I did turn the bass up for the best tone). Turn off the color switch, choose a longer tail reverb with a bit more effect in the mix, add a tube screamer, and you've got a quite decent electric guitar option too (for which a tweeter design would be a liability as distorted guitar can be tough on a tweeter).Jon F.
The amp was great at low volume. Anything past a third of the way up got distorted. I tried 4 different guitars with all different pickups with the same outcome. Didn't handle lows very well at all. The vocals really didn't sound good at all. I was using an Audix om2 microphone. In all honesty my cheap Acoustic A15v amp sounded better for both vocals and guitar. The only thing I liked better on this amp was the direct out. Thanks to Musicians Friend for exchanging this for the woodsman jumbo 65. Can't wait to see what that one sounds like.Jp the One Man Band
