I gotta tell you…this little amp has very much impressed me in ONE way; it is very clean. This is my first experience with the Acoustic brand, and I am pleased, and have become a fan. I got mine as a display model at Guitar Center to play solely with my acoustic/electric Fender T-Bucket 300CE—and it sounds absolutely phenomenal (but only through the clean channel). This is an electric guitar practice amp; but I didn't realize that when I bought it, because of the brand name (yah…35 years of playing and I'm still that stupid, LOL)—I thought it would be a good 20 watt "acoustic/electric" amp, and my misunderstanding turned out to be a blessing. Obviously the 'drive' channel is gonna sound horrible with an acoustic/electric…I hated it, and never tried it a second time. The clean channel is fantastic though. Just out of curiosity (since it IS an electric guitar amp), I plugged in one of my Fender Stratocaster's, and THAT blew me away on the clean channel, yet still disappointed me on the drive side…so it's my conclusion that the drive channel sucks on this amp regardless of guitar type. With either acoustic/electric or just electric guitar on the clean channel, there is no hum, no pop, no squeal, no noise what-so-ever whether the guitar is being played or sitting with full volume. It is dead quiet until you hit them strings, and then it sings like an Angel. If you want distortion (at any volume), there are better amps in this price range. If clean is your thing, and 20 watts is plenty for you (it can be mic'd if needed)….then I don't think you can do better than this amp. It's amazing. On a side note, I am so impressed with this Acoustic brand amp using an acoustic/electric, that I just ordered an Acoustic A1000 today as a Christmas gift to myself…and I plan to buy another one of these G20's to have TWO as powered monitors (because the A1000 is capable of running two output's). I was solely a Fender guy (guitars and amps), but Acoustic made me re-think.White Dog
I have had this small amp for about a year now. I needed something for practice, and I thought I'd try an Acoustic amp only because at one point I had an indestructible 1970's vintage 100W 12×2 Acoustic that I developed a fondness for. At this price I wasn't expecting much at all, but not only is this little guy is great for at-home practice or rehearsals, it also has enough volume to consider for other uses, and the noise floor on the clean channel is quiet enough to mic. or to record with. The lead channel, by contrast, is extremely noisy no matter what you do, and you can't get decent tone out of it anyway. The G20 has a very good EQ, but there are no effects, which is okay for me because everything else I'd ever want would be on the pedal board. The build appears to be rock solid, it has held up well over time, and the look and feel is of a higher quality than the price would suggest. After buying this, I also bought an Acoustic B30 bass amp – it too is built like a tank, and I like the B30 even better. The long and short is that the G20 amp is great if you intend to use the clean channel by itself or in conjunction with pedals. If, for some reason, you need to push a button on the amp to add dirt, you would probably be much better off to spend more on a different amp, maybe something with tubes…… If you need a solid little practice amp and you don't care about on board effects, this would be a very good option.

Does what it supposed to do with a couple added features. The sound is pretty good with good tone, just wish it was a bit louder. No DI output but it does come with a footswitch which is a nice feature. Some of the effects are awful, but some are pretty cool with a little tweaking. I did buy the modeler box that has a DI and it works pretty good for tone control. I use the amp EQ kinda flat then use a little boost with the modeler box for a change in sound. Mixed with a little effect and its a nice variety of tone with just a couple clicks. If you are playing anything bigger than a medium room, this might be only useful for the guitar signal. You will need a PA for the vocals. But for small rooms it will serve its purpose. And for the price, you can't beat it.mapix

It is a beautiful amp and I couldn't be happier. This amp really brings out the acoustic sound of my guitar. The product is great for the price. Period. I love that you can control the amount of FX for both the mic and the 1/4 guitar input separately. Also great that you can control main volume for both separately. The FX are a little bit limited, but is really all you need for an acoustic set. I do wish my pedal effects worked through the amp, but I have found that my zoom pedal doesn't work through the amp, I suppose because the amp already has its own effects. There MIGHT be a way to do it, I haven't really played around with it too much. The sound is good though, and its a great amp for jam sessions with friends or small gigs. One thing I noticed is the faux leather started to rip on one of the corners, its just kind of a cheap vinyl wrap…but that doesn't effect the great sound and price IMOJimmy Jammer

In searching for an Acoustic Amp my three criteria were that it be at least 30 Watts, have two separate inputs/controls, and stay in my budget. I narrowed down my list to the Acoustic A40 and Fishman Loudbox Mini. Though I was drawn to the Loudbox Mini's smaller size I chose the Acoustic A40 as the price was about $60 less and it had the bonus of a headphone jack. In the end very happy with my choice. The amp does not have the annoying buzz that so many amps seem to have when you are not playing. When you are playing the sound is deep and definitely has the power to fill the room. The built in effects panel offers a wide range of options and allows you to save personalized settings. I also like the combo XLR / 1/4"" jacks. Think Guitar Center has done well with this private label amp. It sounds awesome, is built solid, flexible, and well worth the reasonable price tag.Matt
I lead worship at our church and play several outdoor events every year. For years I have used my Crate CA125 amp and it has served me well, but I could never get a really nice sound out of it and had to play through an old DOD Acoustec pedal to get a sound that was close to what I wanted. Out of curiousity I plugged into the Acoustic A40 at Guitar Center, and wow! The tone was amazing. Wonderful bass response and really nice, clear highs. I like the simple interface, an easy to manipulate 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid. I like the less is more approach that they've taken with this amp – the bottom line is it's very easy to get a nice sound. The preset effects are nice, I really like the reverb effects and the chorus is nice too. The amp also has phaser, delay, and flanger, but I wouldn't have much use for those unless I was recording lead guitar lines for a backing track or something like that. The Bluetooth is great! The 1/8" aux input jack on the front is very useful also. There is no individual volume control for these two, you just control your volume on the device you're using and it sounds very clean with a wide volume range. The amp comes with 20 preset effects patches, most of which are pretty nice (but not #19, oh it's horrible). There are also 20 channels available for user presets. What's less than stellar? Editing effects. Very unintuitive and at times frustrating, and the manual isn't much help. It took me some time and trial & error to get things dialed in how I wanted. I do like that I can take an existing effects setting, add other effects to taste, and then save it as a user preset complete with a programmable name of my choice, pretty cool. When you have an effect turned on you get it on both channels, no choice there but with reverb and a little chorus it works very well for guitar and vocals. If you need more flexibility you could step up and get the A1000, but for a player like me this amp has all I need. 2 thumbs up.Rob

Having recently gotten back to playing guitar and having my first electric with the need of an affordable amp, this was a great choice. I love the sound and really don't have to turn up the volume as it is plenty clear at a lower level. I like the features of the lead and rhythm options and you can adjust the sound quality in many ways. My only wish is a reverb and delay feature maybe, of course, this is a smaller amp and does exactly what it is described to do. For the price, I am truly enjoying this amp. Got the amp earlier than expected. Tried it the first day, didn't work because voltage is not compatible. it is 120V. Voltage where i live in is 220V. My mistake for not checking. I have the 120 watt acustic lead amp which I love. I bought the 10 watt for my grandson and I was blown away at how good and big this amp sounds. The tone is very good for a amp this size. It has lots of volume and sounds great. I will be ordering another one for when I travel and do not want to take my big one. Purchased a Yamaha SLG200S and wanted an amp to go with it, as this part of the silent guitar family it was a no brainer. The size, tones, volume, software, portability and that fact it can be battery powered are all plusses, and it looks great with the faux tube glow. It's plenty loud and sounds great, make sure to use the software to really dial in the sound. Currently the only amp I own, as the only powered guitar I have is the SLG200S.
A great mini amp suited to acoustic guitars for private use applications in living rooms or bedrooms. The sound quality is very crisp and clear. There is a choice of microphone emulation to simulate mic-ing up your acoustic guitar. The signal from this mini amp can be fed into a PA or a mixing desk using the Phones output socket. This amp is not really suitable for rock electric guitar sounds like crunch and distortion. The Yamaha THR5 is more suitable for this purpose.Danny
I have looked at the Yamaha THR line of amps many times in various retail shops. Finally saw one on MF in open box condition. Thought, "What the heck." Looks and functions as new. I bought the THR5A to use with my acoustic-electrics. I wanted a small portable amp with good effects for small venues and home practice. For me, a solo singer song writer playing originals, this little amp is a true gem. I use it for effects support in stereo, the other line run through my 40 watt Fender Acoustasonic. For years I have used the durable Acoustasonic as my PA, monitor, and for my vocals, and my Boss RC3 Looper. The THR5A is used simply to tweak the sound of the guitar. The effects are very nice, lots of range to dial in. The modeled Mics offer enough variety to cover the 3 different AE guitars I use. (Carvin AC175, Carvin AE185, Huss and Dalton CM). I can even use my OCD pedal through the THR5A for playing blues leads over the Loops. I would recommend this amp to any player of AE guitars because the sound quality out of this small inexpensive amp is truly amazing. But remember young squires, the THR5A is a very low watt amp with tiny speakers, so do not expect it to support you in a setting of more than 15-20 attentive listeners!Surflad

I purchased the Loudbox Mini Charge to use in small settings as a solo fingerstyle acoustic guitarist. So far I've found very little I don't like about this amp. It has great volume and tone for its size … it really sounds wonderfully articulate despite the fact it simply can't match the headroom of larger, more powerful units. Then again, it's designed for small venues. The reverb and chorus settings are well-executed and pleasant sounding and the three band eq is responsive. Bluetooth is easy to pair and use making this a potential boon at deck and tailgate events. If I had to list negatives my first gripe would be that the channel two input is XLR only. It would have been nice to see a combination jack here for times when players want to use a second instrument input. However, a passive DI box will solve that issue. The other missing feature is an anti-feedback circuit. There is a phase switch but the lack of a true auto-notch on an amp in this price range seems strange. Finally, the on-board battery makes this unit heavier than it looks. It easily outweighs a Fender Acoustasonic 90 even though the Fender is physically twice its size. Those issues aside, the Loudbox Mini Charge is a great performing little amp with the bonus of being battery powered when needed. I'm definitely a fan.GS
So far I've just practiced with it at home and the sound is superb, especially the low end being very present and not muddy. Big bonus for me is I can easily carry it in one hand and guitar in the other so no need for multiple trips. Another reason I got it is for my outdoor gigs where access to electricity can be iffy. It 100% lives up to its name, add the fact that you can charge it up and use it away from any power supply means you can play music anywhere and from my experience with using it for about 2 years now the charge still lasts about 6 hours at 50% master volume of playing before needing a charge again and that’s more than enough playing time for most people, now that playing time I’ll go down a bit if you crank it up to 85% volume but will still last about 3 hours. I give this amp a 9.5/10 only because the carry bag is a must have but is sold separately and it’s a little pricy for what it is, if your paying just over $500 for a very small mini carry amp to me the carry bag should be included in that price tag IMO speaking that you can buy a Randall half stack head and cabinet for about the same price.

Perfect for home or studio use. Good live in small venue, and works well for larger venue thru a board. The effects are precise and vocals come thru well. I use mine now for studio recordings with a 12 string Taylor and added a sub woofer (which the AC-60 allows) to give it a punch. Being able to plug in headphones is a huge ++ for practice. Highly recommend the Roland AC-60 for a beginner to pro. It will allow you to really hear yourself play and be 'in the pocket' to either play live, or more important for me, lay down clean tracks without using any digital effects from the computer, or rack.fboomer65
I've been through a couple acoustic amps lately including a Fishman Loudbox Mini, Crate CA-60D, and Acoustic AG-60. The Roland AC-60 is by far my favorite. It's not the loudest of the bunch and it doesn't have the effects of some, but what it does have is a clarity of sound -especially for vocals. All the amps I mentioned are great for acoustic guitars. I couldn't really tell you which is truly the best for that. But the Roland shines if you want to sing along with a guitar. With it's smaller size and the carrying case, it's much more portable than the others. Also of note is an output for a subwoofer if you choose to extend the sound range. The bass is slightly lacking since it only has 6 1/2" speakers. I would go for the AC-90 with the 8" speakers if I could afford it. But I'm more than happy with the AC-60.Groovy Jones

This was a surprise. I was sure this would sound decent but I was pleasantly surprised at the control & versatility. With a Stratacoustic, very clean & crisp, nice body. I tried all the normal dang Shure's everyone uses but this was great with a Blue Encore 100. Decided to try my daughters Roland Aerophone, very good tone overall. This would work for a little gig or practice of course, but for recording it would work well & of course you can mic this in a larger club/venue. Overall a fun, quality & versatile little amp. I was a little hesitant on buying this amp because of the size, but I decided to take a shot at it. I was very surprised at the power this thing puts out. I use it on my Fender Malibu acoustic electric and also on my Alesis Nitro Mesh Drumkit. It packs plenty of power for both. Highly satisfied with the amplifier. This amp has a wide range of settings to dial in whatever sound you need for various types of guitars and pickups. I was a little disappointed in the volume limitation when plugging in my acoustics with passive pickups- they just didn't have any punch even with the dial turned up, but that was corrected somewhat with an XLR>RCA converter jack to boost the signal. Also the pre-amp in the effects box I have does the same thing. It produced great tone and presence on an electric 12 string, classical, and irish bouzouki which all have active pickups. What really impressed me was how it handles vocal and instrument together. No feedback and plenty of headroom. I'm glad I settled on this model to meet my needs rather than some of the others out there of the same capabilities. The looper is another fun feature that allows you to lay some percussive rhythm down to play along to, or a chord progression to build upon. Another plus is its small footprint and light weight for portability. I plan to be using it in small rooms where it fills the space without being over bearing. It is a perfect tool for solo performances, but would probably hold its own in a small group as well.super-perfundo
I am very pleased with this amplifier. It is very small, (like a large lunchbox) and light. 8 AA batteries can power this or you can use the included ac/dc inverter. After playing with the mic input and plugging my Taylor; its obvious that this is the easiest to use and best sounding acoustic amp I own. Subtle nuances in voice and guitar are replicated so clearly, I forget which part is already recorded on the looper and what is the live part I am playing! No kiddin, its that good! Speakin of the looper, that is probably the best practice feature of any piece of gear I own. Nothing fancy, and 40 seconds tops, but it is falling off a log ez and really does give you enough time to lay down a basic track. My guitar has never sounded so crisp and clean, ambience/chorus on both channels are very high quality! I used to have a SWR California Blonde. It was pretty great, but it weighed a ton. Sold it before I left NYC.I recently bought an Acoustic AG30. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I really think it's fine. Since I have a novel that has music as well, I usually do a set that has me reading and playing and I could be in a coffee shop, club, bookstore, whatever. So I wanted something small that would take a mic and the guitar. The bose or Fishman towers would be great, but not worth the output of $ right now. I want to make some money and I still have to pay off my AJ.I did a show a couple weeks ago with the AG30/M1A/AJ combo and the results were pretty fantastic. The thing you have to remember about amps like this is that they are not really like a Twin or a Vox or anything. They are about clean gain, not color and personality. THe AG30 really did the job as an onstage monitor/DI feeder. If I were to take it on tour, I'd want two. These cheaper amps from China suffer for cheap materials everywhere but the guts.If you're looking for a reasonable amp for light gigging/practice, I'd check it out.
I needed this amp for some home practice, but it easily has enough guts and quality for a moderate sized gig. If you have similar needs, you can't go wrong with this amp. I really like the two inputs, either which will take the quarter inch plug or the XLR. The only drawback to the features is that you can't separate the effects, but I don't find that to be an issue at all since I use it for home practice. Also, to hear anything through the headphone jack, I have found that the volume on the amp needs to be turned up a lot. The first time I heard my guitar through this amp I was really impressed with the beautiful accurate reproduction of acoustic sound from my Martin dx1 six string guitar. I'm sure that having the Fishman Matrix pickup helped, but I also use it with a 12- string Epiphone which is amplified by a Seymour Duncan "Woody" pickup. The amp continues to impress. All things considered, I don't know where you can beat the value of this in any other acoustic amp.RW
I purchased this Amp for my Ovation Guitar. This Amp sounds perfect.The tones, and the High , Mids and Lows are great. It has a range of effects, and they all sound great with the Ovation Applause guitar. The only gripe I have with this Amp is it two channels to use two guitars or to plug in a Mic whichever you want, however the settings do not allow you to play the guitar with effects and the Mic without the effects. And channel one has some buzz when anything is plugged into it. Now I am no singer so to me it is no big deal, however for a singer , player, it maybe a issue. But that slight buzz can be annoying.I just use channel two and not worry about it. Maybe just a loose wire I do not know , but other than that little thing , Everything else about this Amp is Perfect. Pairs nicely with Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic-electric. I bought this to be heard at a small local bar where I occasionally play in a wood-paneled alcove that absorbs sound. This amp is highly portable and is adequate for a living room party or for the small audience I bought this for. The sound seems fine even cranked up, which isn't going to make the walls shake but loud enough to annoy the neighbors if you play late at night. It is sensitive enough to play at low volume in your bedroom and has a headphone jack. I play a variety of styles, flatpicking and finger-style, and am able to hear the effect of playing with the ridges of my fingerprints. (Not really a performance technique, but a gauge of how much sonic detail gets reproduced.) Not a gigging amp, it is good for when you want a small, battery-operated way to boost your sound. The reverb is a nice feature. The chorus is a heavy effect with no way to adjust it and I probably won't use it much. The "Wide" button seems to change the direction of the sound, but I haven't played with it enough to know how to take advantage of that feature. Optimized for acoustic guitar, I've played my Les Paul and D'Angelico hollowbody through it with fine results, obviously playing clean. I commented that this amp has good warmth, but I want to qualify that by saying it has good warmth for a low-powered amp with small speakers. Is this going to be a cheap plastic box with some tinny sounding little speakers? All the positive reviews must be over rated. I noticed the shipping box was kind of on the heavier side. The little amp is kinda heavy. The sound and tone is really nice. The weight must be in the speakers. I also have the Roland 5 watt Cube Street. Other than the Street has bigger speakers the quality of sound out of the AC is all as good and can get loud. The EQ tone knob does a lot more than expected. The chorus is either on or off. A bit much but useable. The reverb is nice nothing weird. Reverbs all the channels at once. I plugged in a mic into the vocal channel and only did a few words. It seems it would be fine. I plugged in my phone and tried the aux input. Nice. The stereo button works very noticeable. I can see using this easily at outdoor low volume gigs. Farmers markets, busking, acoustic jams, and even quiet coffee house set ups. Overall I really like the portability and the nice sounds out of it for a little package. I am a guitar player and an electrical engineer. I am researching the problem known as the hiss that is in the chorus. To date, I have isolated the cutoff frequency to narrow the low pass filter and removed the hiss noise. The next step is to determine if the stock filter can be modified. The components are surface mounted and may be beyond the average persons repair ability. I will publish the fix anyway. The amplifier sounds great! Consider using a chorus pedal. If you are looking for an acoustic amp on a budget, look no further. The Acoustic A1000 is well made, sounds great and has the bells and epistles of a much more expensive amp. I have compared this to the Fender Acoustasonic 40 and there is no contest. I even play my Strat on a few songs in Channel 2 and use a Behringer DI to the PA. It doesnt sound like a Twin Reverb but it is also very acceptable. However, it makes my Martin GPCPA1 sound fantastic! I added a Boss Acoustic pre-amp pedal and the sound is so authentic! Cant beat the price at Guitar Center either. Do yourself a favor and try it out. It deserves recognition!!!!csman1951
I've had this amp for just about a year now and the sound of this amp is amazing. I originally went in to buy another brand (Fender Acoustasonic) but when I tried it out, I just didn't like the sound so I plugged into this model. Man, what I difference. Two inputs per channel, two channels, each with it's own effects bank. The effects sound great, and you can program up to 20 of your own presets. That takes a bit to understand how to do it though. I ended up buying the floor model since they didn't have any in stock, with a discount. When I got home, and after a few days of playing, I noticed a rattle that was coming from the head unit. I moved the amp to different rooms and tried different settings but it didn't clear it up. I brought it back to CG and they ordered me a new one, at the regular price of course. Had the new one within a few days. I've used it with the Bluetooth at an event and it worked flawlessly. Plenty of volume too. I've also recorded direct out to a Tascam recorder and it sounded great. The only thing I would've liked if it had a foot switch to turn off effects but that's about my only complaint. I even got a price match not long after I bought it when it went on sale. The auto-feedback killer is nice and it doesn't effect the tone, in my opinion. I play a Godin A6 Ultra and a Gibson J-180EC through it, both sound amazing.Freditor
This all-in-one acoustic guitar amp is a good fit for a singer-songwriter needing a reliable, portable rig to amplify voice and guitar in small & medium venues or small outdoor spaces (e.g., farmers markets). The amp has 2 separate channels, each with 2 inputs (accommodating either 1/4" instrument or XLR mic cables). Each of these channels has distinct dedicated EQ, FX, and line out (for recording or running to a bigger board). This is ideal for a single performer who wants to treat their voice and acoustic guitar separately (picture a reverb on voice, delay on guitar, separate EQ, and both running in dedicated lines to a recorder for live recording mixdown). But the additional two "passenger" inputs allow some flexibility for special guests or secondary instruments which can get their own level but piggyback on either channel 1/2 EQ/FX/output (e.g., a backup vocalist or keyboard). For many small venues hosting mostly solo/duo acoustic performers (coffee shops, farmers markets, etc.), this would be an adequate house PA, and would likely also suffice for open mic hosts in most situations. With 100W, this unit can project in mid-size venues or larger open air situations (music in the square, "gazebo series," etc), but would understandably not cover the requirements of a large club, theater, or festival stage. The sound quality is clear and easy to dial in. Good sound can be achieved with minimal effort and intuitive adjustment. For a unit of this size and power, it is comparatively lightweight, but obviously heavier (roughly 40lbs) than its smaller cousins. The wedge shape also can make it slightly awkward to carry at this size. Still, at the end of the day, this is something that one person can carry with one hand, and would fit pretty neatly in the back of a tour van.Cody

This is a beautiful amp. Lightweight and small and packs a punch. Clear, crisp and true. It will showcase the sound of your acoustic guitar. Need very little eq tweaking to get this amp to sing. However… that said, the buyer should beware, although this is a stunning sounding amp, the company, in Germany, does not offer any tech help. The speaker blew out on mine and after repeated emails to the company they never contacted me back. It shouldn't be so hard to get a speaker replacement but boy let me tell ya, it was over 2 week of trying to find the right 8", 4 ohm, 250 speaker. This should be so hard it it's not exactally a common configuration. I did end up finding one, which actually sounds better than the Sica speaker that came with it. 3 weeks later I finally have a working amp again. Not cool for a working musician. Great amp but really bad customer/ tech service from Germany.Lucky
Eigentlich wollte ich nur einen transportfreundlichen Amp kaufen – der Fender Twin ist für die Zwecke meiner Jazz-Archtop unnötig schwer und auch sonst überdimensioniert. Es stellt sich jedoch heraus: der era 1 ist nicht nur leicht , sondern sein Klang ist eine wahre Epiphanie. Dadurch habe ich auch entdeckt, wie super sogar meine alte Ibanez Montage 700 klingen kann, jetzt, wo sie endlich in vollkommener Klarheit verstärkt wird. Ein Genuss!
Habe mir diesen Amp gegönnt, nachdem mein Marhall AS80R nach 23 JAhren seinen Geist aufgegeben hatte. Nach Lieferung ausgepackt und ne günstige Gitarre, die zur Hand war (einfache Ibanez Dread) mit billigem Kabel (Klinke-Klinke) eingestöpselt, alles auf 12 Uhr resp. Effekte auf 0 – puh, die Gitarre ist laut. Aber es kommt einfach nur die Gitarre aus dem Lautsprecher! Wow. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass die einfache Gitarre verstärkt so gut klingen kann! Zu Hause dann mit meiner Taylor 310ce (Bj. 2002, ES1-System) getestet: mit Klinkenkabel schon super, mit XLR-Kabel (bei der Taylor damals im Lieferumfang, damit kann die Gitarre auch direkt in eine PA): sensationellerer, weicher, warmer aber absolut natürlicher Klang. Die Klangregelung ist sehr effektiv, die Veränderung des Shape höre ich entgegen manchen Testberichten durchaus. Die Effekte sind alle brauchbar, sie müssen aber auf jeden Fall sehr sparsam eingesetzt werden, manche klingen bei 25-30% Beimischung sehr schön (verschiedene Halls, Chorus, Delay). Wer mehr Kontrolle über Effekte haben möchte wird externe nutzen, dafür gibt es einen rauschfreien Effektloop. Dieser wirkt allerdings bei Verwendung eines gewöhnlichen Mono-Kabels nur auf Kanal 1 aus, sein Return ist quasi ein weiterer Kanal mit regelbarem Pegel. Wirklich berauschenden Klang erzeugt dann meine Bariton-Akustik an dem Amp (Walden B-1E) – da will man gar nicht mehr aufhören. Ebenfalls lässt sich eine Ukelele mit Piezo (Ortega LIZARD-CC-GB) wunderbar darüber spielen, da muss die Klangregelung zeigen, was sie kann, um einen gesunden Mix aus Nebengeräuschen vermeiden und typischer Höhenbetonung der Uke hinzubekommen, aber auch das geht wunderbar und schnell. Live lässt sich mit dem variablen Notch-Filter Feedback sehr effektiv und schnell rausregeln, ohne das der Klang groß hörbar beeinträchtigt wird (bei den dann erreichten mächtigen Lautstärken – der kleine Amp kann richtig laut!). Auf der Bühne hab ich ihn auch als Monitor verwendet (Schrägsteller für 25 und 35° ist dabei) und über das integrierte DI-Out den Amp ins Mischpult eingespeist: geht auch einwandfrei! Hier gibt es die Möglichkeit, den DI-Out entweder so zu schalten, dass die Klangregelung des aMp genutzt wird oder der nackte Klang nach der Vorverstärkersektion abgegriffen wird und die Klangregelung im Mischpult passiert. Gesang verstärkt der Amp so sauber, dass ich mir nun ein Boxenstativ gekauft habe, um ihn als einzigen Lautsprecher zu nutzen (Hülse auf der Unterseite). Die Phantomspeisung lässt sich je Kanal einzeln zuschalten, ich verwende ein Shure beta 87 oder ein Sennheiser-Kondensator-Headset mit externer Phantomspeisung. Fazit: extrem vielseitige kleine Kiste, wunderschön und damit wohnzimmertauglich. trotz hohem Preis: jeden Euro wert (Tipp: mal Ausschau nach Messeretouren = B-Ware halten, da gibt es die Wunderkiste auch schon mal für 950 €)
