This guitar neck has not been on its body since 1987, was bought from front porch music in bakersfield california in 1985 with a charvel body, i ve kept the neck but sold the body long ago. it has an ebony fretboard, floyd rose locking nut, and non-original jackson tuning keys. the neck has some flame in it, nice satin feel and a very thin ebony fretboard. there s a pencil dating of 8/82. this was originally from a parts guitar put together by the music store and the only company that they got parts from with charvel and boogie buddies. there are no problems with the fritz and have plenty of life. i ve been tempted to put it back on a guitar, and this neck feels awesome.
