I use this on Rock Band 3 for PS3 with a MIDI Pro box (also available on Mighty Ape) and a standard MIDI cable and it works perfectly – even starpower and the control buttons work (though the controls have the Wii symbols on them). The fret buttons are ok – could have been better designed: different widths for each of the "strings" would make it much easier to feel where your fingers are going, same for the nylon strings when trying to pick specific strings. The game is pretty good at stepping you through different guitar techniques and then through the different sections of each song (so you could play them on a real guitar too).Allen

so far I've used this for Guitar Hero 3, World tour, Rock Band 2, and rock band AC-DC…it's worked Great for all of them. buttons are smooth strum is good, wammy bar works great too, Well worth the money…only con is the placement of the + – buttons (kind of under the wammy bar) , but its not a big issue as there not used that often anyway I recommend it. makes a great second rig or in my case my main guitar…i'd buy another one but there sold out everywhere i looksteveeh
When you see somethin like this is only $20, you don't think it is going to be great quality. This is an exception. It works great for $20 (though the start and menu buttons aren't in a very good spot).
