I did a little online research into Richards Guitars when pondering purchasing a bass from them. All seemed good and the videos explaining the ethos of the shop were rather impressive. Knowing the item I was interested was potentially on display I contacted the shop via email and inquired about the condition of the bass, which I was assured by the owner of the shop was in perfect condition. So I ordered the bass, however upon delivery I was very disappointed to find that the bass had 3 dents (Phillips screw marks) and two gouges in the back. This was made even more irritating by the fact that the ship had been in touch a few days before the delivery and I had again asked about the condition and was assured that the item was as new.
